What fools, they actually stated they were empowering the acharyas, apparently Krishna is no longer needed to dictate to the acharyas, the GBC is doing that? So they are actually saying they are superior to God, they are taking over His tasks. The GBC could not empower a peanut to move half and inch.]

"God told me to be guru", basically this is what each and everyday another cheating self-appointed wannabe says in India.

Prabhupada: "A guru can become guru when he’s ordered by his guru. That’s all. Otherwise nobody can become guru."

Notice, this is what Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja instruchted to his disciples. Whereas Prabhupada did not order his disciples the same.
"An actual acarya must be spiritually empowered by the previous acarya because of his total surrender to his spiritual master."
