A FEW COMMENTS FROM DIFFERENT FOLKS:
The disciple kept in almost dead state, no longer can recuperate, make spiritual advancement, and thus heads to a certain death. Due to untimely death the disciple (animal) has to take birth again in the most obnoxious place in the universe. Should the hunter (Guru) die or give up hunting before the animal is killed, then another heartless hunter (Guru) takes his place, and makes sure the fun (suffering), goes on.
No saintly person can tolerate the suffering of other living entities, so just as Narada Muni has come to save the hunter, and the animals. This very Prabhupadavision, the sincere followers of Prabhupada, Prabhupada and the entire Parampara up to Gaura Nitai, has come to save the hunters (Guru’s, GBC and co) and the animals (Disciples, followers and co).
This nasty business has to be given up. Krishna declares in The Bhagavad Gita that these envious demons, in the garb of religious propagandists, shall be thrown down into the darkest region of hell. It is confirmed in Sri Ishopanishad that the pseudo-religionists are heading toward the most obnoxious place in the universe after finishing with the spiritual mastership business, which is simply for the matter of sense gratification.

So instead of gambling to pick one of the Lot, which is forbidden, according to the rules and regulations, why not take the best Guru, who is the head of our Society, dedicate our life to Him, and at time of death be transferred to Him…. CC: Certainly not representatives of anything spiritual, but rather representatives of the envy and egoistic bitterness that infests the consciousness of the fallen and materially conditioned. But there is hope. In the heart of all unreasonable fanatics there is always a certain doubt. This doubt the try to cover by grandiose statements of belief and conviction. So bellicose bellowing of the ranting rtviks really recites their deep doubts, their many misgivings, their quaking qualms, their shaking suspicions, their real reservations, their wayward worries, ugly uncertainties, and following fears that their odd ontology is completely crass.
