PADA: A lot of people keep telling me to "move on from the past." Good idea. Except that a lot of what is happening now in ISKCON is built on the foundation of its past. People are being forensically connected by the FBI to crimes that took place 35 years ago and they are being arrested now. Just because crimes took place in the past, does not mean they are not affecting things now.
Sorry, the past is what has made the present and will shape the future. One thing that people seem to fail to recognize is that abuses from ISKCON can afflict a person's entire life, and there is no easy way for them to "move on from the past." Cannot help but notice how the big leaders are often living in nice opulent facility, while their victims sometimes cannot even get their teeth fixed etc.
And the question we keep getting all the time -- and from all quarters, includes professional writers, scholars, media people, students writing college papers etc. -- why was almost no one ever arrested and charged with all these crimes?
Worse. It seems like a society that allowed all this to go on, and on, and on, and now rewards the leaders of that process with giant big seats and many servants, and million dollar health care, while their victims have -- no teeth? Why is that? If anyone has a good answer, let me know. ys pd

This is a program that apparently has a history of beating the stuffing out of children -- and a track record of starving, beating and molesting children. CW: This calls into question ... how many people knew this kid ... and maybe many other kids ... were being assaulted on a regular basis. It would seem at least hundreds knew what was going on ... because this kid is walking around ... with no teeth.
ReplyDeleteOther kids are black and blue and have broke bones ... and there is the anal reconstructive surgery epidemic ... and more. And yet no one knew there is a problem. Or? Did many know ... and they just decided to cover it up ... and allow more victims to get into their torture chamber?
It seems to me ... maybe even thousands knew. But no one ever did anything? And no one did anything all along up to now ... to help this person in all this time. And this kid is just one out of thousands who have been mistreated. Where is the concern for all these victims ... I am not seeing it.
This is all starting to make a lot of sense. It is like coming to the scene of a MAFIA hit job ... and it takes days or years for the police to investigate how it all happened. And it is the same thing with ISKCON. All sorts of crimes ... but how did this all happen?
CW #2: In ordinary "karmi" life there are a lot of violent brute type persons. Maybe butchers, criminals, thugs, murderers of all types. Yet ... even they avoid violently striking children. They might even sometimes have the urge to strike children ... but they restrain themselves.
ReplyDeleteWhy? Because they know there will be consequences. Someone ... either an elder, a caregiver, a teacher, and especially a parent ... will call the police and have the attacker arrested and charged with a crime.
But what happens when there are little or even none consequences? Then they can attack children with immunity and impunity. And they did. There has really been ... or so it seems ... little to none consequences for being a violent child attacker, or maybe even being a child raper.
The violent child abusing type people knew they had a sort of license to be violent with children. Who will report the crime? Who will take measures to punish the attackers? Who will do anything at all to counteract these crimes? Maybe ... no one. And they knew that ... and exploited that.
This is why people keep asking (even I have to ask) ... why did no one call in the authorities ... because that is the first thing normal people would think of. It does look like a frightening free for all of criminal child abuse has been going on ... and there has been no checks and balances.
Krishna says we have to fight evil ... what happens when we are fighting to keep the evil ... instead of fighting against it. It seems a lot of misplaced loyalty. They are loyal to the leaders ... blindly going along with their criminal operation ... and then they are blind to the suffering they are causing others ... even their own children.
This person should have got a lot of help a long time ago. Where is the help. Rambhouru will come and give him a band aid ... when he has been bleeding for decades and he needs a complete package of salvation ... including a lot of money to re-build his life ... starting with ... getting his knocked out teeth fixed.
I also heard that ISKCON gave some sort of festival to glorify this Raghunath swami as some sort of saint. It just never ends with these people. I would say ... a lot of them knew about the child abuse and they covered it up. That is the only rational and logical conclusion. And yeah ... I do not think they will get away with all these crimes forever ... they will have come-uppance time at Yamaraja's house.
And the crimes will be listed as ... the beaters ... and the people who went along with and covered for the beaters. They will all be in the same jail.
This poor soul needed help ages and ages ago. Where is it? I know already. The swamis are too busy getting their devotee chauffeurs to drive their Mercedes to the car wash for the complete wash and wax job ... to notice there is a problem. And most everyone else is too asleep to notice there is a problem either. It is good to know what is really going on here. This is another piece of the giant puzzle that helps bring it all together.
Dina K: This is very typical of child abuse cults. The victims are simply ignored and neglected. Hopefully, the victims will all just die soon. That is the whole plan for the victims?
ReplyDeleteI too am amazed than none of the adults, especially leaders, ever came out and championed for him a long time ago. Certainly many adults ... and leaders ... knew he was in severe distress and had a life time injury.
I guess they were too busy making flower garlands for the chiefs in charge of this horror movie ... to be bothered accounting for the victims. And ... there are thousands of other victims? Oh my ... no wonder they neglect all of this. They would have to move out of their mansions and pay for the victims. Can't have that!
The leaders are not concerned with the citizens, or barely. That is really the whole issue. Making some trauma program for them is simply not very useful ... they need practical help ... like a few hundred thousand dollars to get their lives in order.
I am amazed that the adults never sued the GBC for these crimes either ... so they could raise a few hundred thousand for him. This is why some of them write "no one cared, neither leaders or our parents." What a sad commentary on people who are supposed to be "the most compassionate." They do have compassion ... for the child abusers and their network of fiends. I meant friends!
Sad commentary that any of the victims have to champion for themselves ... that means ... no one else is. This explains a lot about where ISKCON has been going since 1978.
M Dasi: Fortress ISKCON is crumbling. And this is why it is crumbling. It is mainly looking out for the welfare of few elites ... like some leaders ... and not overall society members. GBC won't give any real position to the second generation ... because the leaders are greedy control freaks. The leaders are to be forgiven for countless bad action ... but if anyone else falls or makes a mistake ... they are bogus fringies and rejected.
ReplyDeleteThey are envious the second generation will grab the assets and they will be left stranded with no retirement funds. We don't even see their own disciples here anymore. They all left too. Almost all the Prabhupada devotees left ... and how many disciples of Ramesvara, Kirtanananda, Hansadutta, Bhagavan, Harikesha, Bhavananada, Satsvarupa, Vipramukhya, Prithu, Prabhavishnu and many others ... are even left remaining in the society? They are almost all gone too. It was always crumbling ... and it is just crumbling faster now.
And this is the reason it is crumbling. There is no love and trust. And therefore no system of maintaining the welfare of the members. The members cannot rely on the society for their welfare ... and ... who wants to join such a society? This poor fellow is not even on their radar screen. He was just a blip they used for some gurukula promo photos ... and now he is of no value ... he is out of their realm of interest. This exploiting system can only go on for some limited time .. then people start to compare notes.
And someone was asking ... where are the big reformers like Bhakti Vikas swami when all these things are going on? And the answer is ... he is still supporting the false system ... because he is another exploiter of whole situation. I am not so much angry as I was with them. I now feel more and more sorry for them ... they will have to pay back all the stolen booty later on. No one gets away with stealing and robbing from Krishna's institution. There will be hell to pay ... figuratively ... and actually. Stealing from Krishna is worse than stealing from anyone else ... but they are so ignorant they don't even know this. So we feel bad for them .. they are blind men walking off a cliff ... and there is a bottomless pit on the other side of the cliff ... it won't end well for ISKCON ... or for them.
LD: I agree M Dasi! They first kicked out the Prabhupada devotees ... then their own devotees left. She's right! There are hardly any Bhavananda, Hansadutta, Harikesh, Ramesvara, Satsvarupa etc. devotees anywhere. They burnt out Prabhupada's people ... then burnt out their own people. Scorched earth policy.
ReplyDeleteThat is because their whole plan all along was to kick everyone out, mass alienate gurukulis, and make a Hindu deity showing business out of the property, and bring in Hindus to run the show. And these Prabhupada people are just getting in the way.
It is also amazing ... so many parents were worried about their kids being in the "karmi slaughterhouse school" ... while they allowed their own kid to be slaughtered worse. Way worse! And they did not bother going to the police. If some kids had been beaten with broken teeth and bones in "karmi" schools, there would have been police raids, arrests, multi-million lawsuits, parents outside the school admin office protesting with signs.
But in ISKCON? The sheeple went to sleep. And they still are asleep.
They do not understand ... it is the responsibility of everyone to take action on these matters ... and they just did not and still don't get it. Maybe they never will.
And Narayan Maharaja supporting Tamal and Bhavananda program was also a big giant red flag. But then ... many parents sent their kids to ... worship Narayan Maharaja. As one of the gurukulis told me "the Bhava of Bhavananda." The parents are asleep at the switch.
I think we should all help this Sridham person ... if we can. Maybe some of the big gurus can get out of their mansions for a few minutes to send him some cash. Not holding my breath for that to happen.
In the end ... more people are waking up at least here and there. That is better than nothing. So they wanted to avoid the slaughterhouse ... by making a worse slaughterhouse ... and the big leaders of that giant child slaughterhouse are still sitting on big seats giving lectures ... as if they are big saints. No wonder there is a lot of cancer going on ... no surprise here at all.

ReplyDeleteCM: Agreed. And the Vrindavan Gurukula should also pay. And the individuals who were in charge of the Vrindavan Gurukula at the time should also pay. Raghunatha Ex-Swami is dead. He died last year.
CKG: They are all dying off ... one by one ... what a relief for mother earth! Lets hope they all leave ASAP. Cannot stand to see them prancing around in silk robes and $300 cashmere sweaters acting like they are God's gift to the planet.
Once they leave here ... they will have to pay for all this damage they did to ALL of these children ... in that world. Starting with ... they will all have their own teeths knocked off their silly know it all smiles. They don't know anything ... and they will find that out soon.
They think they can avoid paying for all this? Think again fools ... payment still due ... with interest.
