Srila Prabhupada's Instructions Were Ignored (Narottama dasa)

Narottama dasa: Look how even on his death bed Srila Prabhupada was imploring his disciples to make farm communities. He knew. He knew what’s coming. What’s arriving in our lives even now.

Imagine if the world was full of Krsna conscious farm communities... in every country of the world? Imagine how many people we could give shelter to. How many would come running to us ... because they have no other choice?!? Millions would flock to Krsna. For their survival.... and we could accommodate them.

But alas we did not do this... we did not listen. Now we have no shelter to give (even to our own devotees). No. Everyone needs to fend for themselves. Isolated. Alone. A single stick easily broken.

There should be a great lamentation ... how cruelly we ALL ignored the instructions of our master. He knew what we did not. Tri kala jnana. He saw the future. He tried to prepare us... “create a house the whole world could live in.”

We were so foolish we had no idea what he meant. We pick and choose to satisfy our own ego... to reinforce our own limited paradigm of life... thinking always that we know best. That we know better than him. This is our arrogance. Our foolishness.

If we had seriously followed him ... this all could have been averted. He came at the exact right time to correct the course of history ... yet he required our assistance ... and we let him down. Completely.

Then he tried to create a structure that would shelter us in the now inevitable times ... again we let him down ... now we are all doomed to suffer along with the rest. Yet his mercy knows no bounds ... his books and instructions ... the chanting of hare Krsna will endure ... in times of true danger and hardship... we will all chant the holy name for our survival. It’s the only effective weapon against Demons. X

When the time comes ... our illusions will be ripped away. By force. Like a bandage over a festering wound. We will have no more lies to cling to ... our delusions will lay in ruins on the floor. In this moment all will become clear ... the seedling shoot finally bursting into sunlight for the very first time.

Then we will understand who we are and why we have been positioned in our exact location. In our own small way.. it will be on us to execute Srila Prabhupada's instructions ... to give shelter to the suffering conditioned souls. Save as many as we can. This is our dharma. Our instruction given directly by our master.

We cannot fully understand this while still saturated in this illusory demon society. When the plug is turned off and humanity is plunged into chaos ... rivalling the dark ages ... this is when his instructions will come into true focus. This is when we will know what to do.
