[PADA: This virus thing is really clobbering ISKCON. Of course it is also clobbering a lot of other people all over the place. I am glad they are going to protect their current residents, that is the smarter plan at this time. If any one of the temple residents gets it, the whole temple could be infected -- and be in a worse mess.
I am not sure why some devotees keep sending me links saying "there is no virus. It is all a hoax"! Oh really? Well maybe, but something is making a heap of people get sick, and die -- including devotees. Better to err on the side of caution at this stage, and see how this all evolves. Closing these temples down will create financial problems -- and that is true also for regular Hindu temples in India etc. ys pd]
