 If ISKCON GBCs and GURUS were Uttama Adhikaris

These are some things that would occur if the present ISKCON GBCs, gurus, and leaders were bona-fide.

1. There would not be 100% complicit silence from GBCs, gurus, and leaders regarding serious crimes and deviations in ISKCON, past and present.

2. The serious accusations by hundreds of alienated Srila Prabhupada disciples (and following generations) voiced during the past 40 years regarding the hijacking of ISKCON by unqualified usurpers would be heard and acted upon.

3. It would never be accepted to change Srila Prabhupada’s pre-78 books in any way, apart from tidying up a little grammar, some spelling, and a couple of editing/proof reading errors. 

4. There would be further investigation regarding possible poisoning during the final year or more of Srila Prabhupada’s manifest pastimes.

5. There would be zero tolerance for child abuse or neglect, with criminal perpetrators removed from ISKCON premises and position permanently, and arrested for serious offences.

6. Renunciate gurus and sanyasis would not have private bank accounts, residences, businesses or property portfolios.

7. There would not be mass falldowns from the highest levels of bhakti, as seen with so many so-called gurus and sanyasis in ISKCON. Those remaining in ‘good standing’ would admit the farce.

8. There would not be a mass exodus of 95% of all Srila Prabhpada’s disciples, 95% of disciples of the magnificent 11 (1978-1986), 95% of second and third generation devotees, and the alienation of anyone else who speaks out or asks questions.

9. ISKCON temple programs, services and preaching strategies as encouraged by Srila Prabhupada would not grind to a halt, replaced by modern welfare trends, feel-good seminars and devious financial controllers.

10. All devotees could be working together under the safe and sublime shelter of Srila Prabhupada, instead of forming 100 different guru cults of fawning flatterers, foot washing and flowers.

There are dozens more points that could be made, but I thought to stop at 10 for now. If there is a genuine Uttama Adhikari in our midst, I bow to your feet and pray that I may be of service to you. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and the Vaishnava Acharyas.
