Bhakta 1: A lot of money has been pouring into holy dham for decades (Vrindaban) from all over the world and India. Where are they spending and how come it’s not improving the infrastructure and overall conditions?
In the West, a community benefits from its prosperity. What benefits do we have here? We have hardly any working sewer, and sewer pipes that empties into the Jamuna river. The place is a total disaster / wreck to be honest. Gone backwards, no improvement in 30 yrs. Things are basically falling apart infrastructure wise.
Only a few nice houses are sometimes being built, basically for the elite swamis and not so much for the people themselves who live here. Some of the houses for the poor are being destroyed by the government, but no alternate housing is given. It has become a place where the wealthy swamis and tourists can live, but not so much for the sadhus, devotee widows and the other poorer class -- the actual devotees of Krishna.
Iskcon has shamelessly monopolized every conceivable business imaginable inside its compound: shop / stall / hotel / banking / restaurant / travel business and of course helped hijack the real estate market (along with local property mafia) - and circulate the money among themselves and their elites. Meanwhile acting like they are promoting Sri Krishna. Is this the temple we are all proud of? And if you are not approved by them, you are not considered anything important.Holy dham, but not even an affordable room for a real sadhu (the only people meant to be there). Simply a scam business takeover strategy in process. It’s wrong and Sri Krishna is taking note. There are divine eyes witnessing.
Bhakta 2: Totally opposite of spiritual in my impression. They behave cruel and only respond to money.
S Dasa: A clear division has taken place in Vaishnavism - true and poor vaishnavas and fake and elite vaishnavas. In the name of Krishna, but they are more cruel than Kamsa.
