No, I do not think that this is normal, and my karmi nurse friend also does not think this is normal. She thinks it is a "Hare Krishna health epidemic." And she thinks a lot this is coming from psychological stress etc. However, like many other anomalies around ISKCON, people just think anything odd -- is the new normal.
