Puskara Alachua
PADA: Thanks for your question about Puskar, of Alachua.
(Q) Is Puskar a spy for the GBC gurus?
(A) Embarrassing really. So many times we get the same question, "which of your God brothers support you, and which of them supports the pedophile guru program"? OK -- if you have to ask "is devotee X with me, or with them," it generally means that person has not made their position clear. And if they spend a lot of time with the pedo-messiah's groupies, it does not look so good.
I think he could be with the GBC. I understand he hangs around a lot with the temple leaders there in Alachua, who are all basically upper elite members of the pedophile messiah's club. As soon as the pedo-messiah's folks find out someone does not believe Andy Warhol's disciples, Jimmy Savile's disciples, assorted pedophiles, deviants, drunks, porno swamis etc. are, were or could have been God's successors and messiahs, they are generally not happy.
And same with other folks like Adikarta / Rucira types. Even the TV media people asked me "what is a pedophile in samadhi"? In any case -- when the media asked me -- who else is writing protest papers, we don't see hardly any of these types of people writing protest papers, and the media folks thus assume -- they must be compromised or else they would protest. If anyone could say for sure what Puskar's position is, let us know so we can answer this question accurately. So far a person has reported he is one of the compromisers and lets hope not.

A VICTIM WRITES
As a member of ISKCON from birth, I have a few things i would like to say.
Firstly, thank you to those that have and are bringing awareness to the fact that the "Vaikuntha children" have been neglected and abused on many different levels.
Firstly, thank you to those that have and are bringing awareness to the fact that the "Vaikuntha children" have been neglected and abused on many different levels.
Child abuse is not something that happens only in ISKCON. It's an issue that happens everywhere; in all schools, all societies, lots of families, and more often than we even imagine. We need to accept that demons have systematically infiltrated our ISKCON society, what more proof do we need?
"Let them be hanged!" - Srila Prabhupada
To this day, not one single "senior" has been prosecuted by the law for abuse. WHY NOT? Why does it need to be dealt with in-house? I believe that's partly the main problem. Why are we not reporting to the police? With all respect to the cpt / CPO members, what can you even do? Give a recommendation to the GBC as to what they should do. And what are they going to do?
They are not a legal entity, and their job to date is NOT to bring awareness but rather concealing. What happens when a crime is committed? Why is the law not involved? Why so much tolerance towards these rapist and abusers? It does look like "a lot of people are in on it." Maybe most people. The parents also failed to report to the authorities.
But watch out! Who does get punished badly? When a Vaikuntha child (children born to devotee parents) breaks one of the four regulative principles they get crucified for life. But when someone, especially "seniors", rapes, abuses, steals and cheats -- it gets smothered and covered up by some "tolerance and forgiveness" mantra and sprinkled with "don't make offence Prabhu"
Dear "seniors".
(I hope lots of Gbc and leaders, and also senior ghigastras get to read this)
You have failed Srila Prabhupada.
You are thiefs and liars.
You have enabled the first and next generation of abusers and rapists.
You have all seen the letters that have been circulating since the 90s, we can all read the names to whom they were sent. We know who you are. You know who you are.
And most importantly Krsna knows who you are. When you take birth in your next life, what do you think you deserve for looking the other way?
What excuses do you even tell yourself to sleep at night?
Do we think silence is going to protect Srila Prabhupada's movement? How? How small minded are we? Zoom out and try to understand what Krsna Conciousness is.

Zero tolerance needs to start now. Dont be silent anymore. Parents, go to the police, if someone tells your otherwise it's only because of some self interest.
Friends, we are sorry if you happen to have a friend that is an abuser, it's still not ok to keep silent. If you truly love them, save them from themselves.

Leaders, do your job! and protect those under your care and not only your bank accounts. We have this inherent love for God and Srila Prabhupada and we are doing pretty good considering the cards we were dealt with. Please empower the next generation to continue growing and spreading Krsna Consciousness; and maybe you will have a chance to be born in a healthy family in your next lives.
All Glories to our dear Grandfather Srila Prabhupada.

FOCUS ON PRABHUPADA PLEASE

My father belonged to Ramanandi Sampradaya (Started from Machandarnatha incarnation of Vishnu) as such we practiced the vaisnava traditions (parampara) and he used to recite from many books perhaps not in print nowadays ... some copies were burnt and destroyed by Britishers.. some were hidden and kept safe.. many many religious texts books were destroyed many times by invaders of India ... whatever was there was there ... of which eventually aged and deteriorated to uselessness.
However my father had many books which he recited and sadly a great flood took the books all away when I was about 8. But still whatever father read was practiced. If you ever meet a significantly spiritually advanced Indian person .. maybe he doesn’t know slokas or even is not literate, don’t underestimate him.. he maybe a living part of some significant part of a lost scripture ... his actions and and life is some part of a scripture due to spiritual association with saintly persons and the habit and etiquette has been passed down .. it is commonly said in our Indian culture, if you can’t read write remember, just follow with surrender and all heart how a saint behaves eats sleeps does ….
I hope you understand.. in those days recitations of scriptures was restricted to Brahmins and upper class of people therefore there were not much books in circulation.. we heard and adapted. And one thing I am honestly sure is what I learned—
After the Pranaprathista of the Deity.. elders taught during discourses and there were quotes.. that the Deity of the temple is like the Supersoul of the body .. and the Spiritual personality of the Deity is residing inside the Deity.. it will only go away when the temple is destroyed otherwise it will stay in the Deity forever.
However I will try to locate which books as I have a very little of what’s left.. most begged borrowed never returned stolen torn lost. You can try the logic— you can not have another throne for another king in the same palace. Srila Prabhupada is the king and there should not be other's thrones.
Srila Prabhupada is already on the Vyasa asana of his temples ... indicating he is the spiritual master (the one who is giving knowledge) for anyone NEW coming to the temple… and that will be as long as ISKCON exists ... unless another class of demons enters ISKCON after 2-3-4-5000 years later and decide one of them should be there on the Vyasa asana. The demons will try to usurp the Vyasa seat as a matter of course. We should all worship Srila Prabhupada and not worship others, that is not helping ISKCON.
I did not cram quotes until I came to Iskcon in 1992 and I learnt from Srila Prabhupada how important is to learn quotes. Before I just read. And after coming to Srila Prabhupada I have refused to read anything but Prabhupada.
But the guru allows at a point in life to senior disciples to read other books of different authors but only to know how to preach to the followers of that discipline our own gurus philosophies to maintain the superiority of his ashrama. We are not supposed to adopt other's ideas.
There are many things that Srila Prabhupada knew and did not explain because he did not want disciples cultivating unnecessary knowledge.. the very necessary things he explained and the rest he expected disciples to just follow as instructed… whatever guru says recommends writes instructs is called scriptures and the rest of the scriptures Vedic knowledge is just there for inquisitive disciples and is very dangerous — the Guru and Krishna give the same instruction—

SUMMARY OF KRISHNA PHILOSOPHY (by GD)
The Supreme Person who is completely independent and free to act according to His desire is Sri Krishna. He exists as the Supreme Truth, one without a second; but is inconceivably always in the company of His differentiated eternal energies, both internal and external. These energies are never independent of Krishna; rather they are intimately related to Him. This is stated in the Vedic mantras.
Krishna is the independent principal conscious entity, and the energies are His manifested attributes. They can never be independent. Krishna may be called vibhu, the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent master, and the manifestations from His energies — all other existing phenomena—may be called vaibhava, the opulent expressions of His factual existence. Yet, even amid unlimited, countless energies scattered throughout endless time and space, Krishna remains separate and independent in His original form or vigraha. It is through these energies, these vaibhava of the vibhu, that the Lord’s presence can be perceived.
The manifestations from Krishna’s energies are of three types: cid-vaibhava, or spiritual manifestations coming from Krishna’s spiritual potency; acid-vaibhava, or the dull, unconscious material world; and jiva, or countless souls, small particles of spirit. This is the statement of scripture.
CID-VAIBHAVA: SPIRITUAL MANIFESTATION
The cid-vaibhava consists of Krishna’s abodes, such as the unlimited number of Vaikuntha planets; Krishna’s unlimited names, such as Govinda, Hare, etc.; Krishna’s unlimited forms, such as the two-handed form holding the flute; Krishna’s extraordinary qualities, such as affectionately giving bliss to His devotees; Krishna’s pastimes, such as the rasa-lila of Vraja and the sankirtana activities of Navadvipa. Even though these spiritual manifestations may descend into the material world and be visible or perceivable by the living entities, they remain spiritually untouched by material influence. All these elements intimately related to Vishnu or Krishna are called Vishnu's expansions throughout the Vedas. This denotes that the cid-vaibhava are inseparable from the Lord Himself. The spiritual phenomena are inseparable from the prime spiritual entity.
Therefore, in the spiritual realm of Vishnu, the changes which occur due to the influences of the material energy are not present. That realm is transcendental to material change, and like Lord Vishnu Himself, is in pure transcendence and goodness, unmixed with passion or ignorance in the least, unlike the condition of the material world. Krishna and the plenary Vishnu expansions are all of the pure goodness. Thus, whether in Goloka, Vaikuntha, the Causal Ocean, or the material world, these personalities remain unaffected, as the Lord of all the demigods and the Lord of maya. Vishnu forms are the Lords of maya and are in pure goodness, whereas Durga, Brahma, Siva, etc. possess goodness mixed with other modes.
ACID-VAIBHAVA
Across the Viraja River, which is the separating boundary, opposite from the Vishnu forms, spiritual abodes, spiritual pastimes and other spiritual manifestations, lies the nonspiritual realm composed of the universes of fourteen planetary systems. This realm under the control of the Lord’s illusory energy is called Devidhama, the abode of maya. It is composed ofthe five material elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether), plus mind, intelligence and false ego, which form the gross and subtle bodies of the living entities. The seven upper and seven lower planetary systems are all contained within the acid-vaibhava, or nonspiritual manifestation of one of the Lord’s energies.
JAIVA-VAIBHAVA
Whereas the spiritual manifestation (cid-vaibhava) is the full spiritual principle, and the illusory material world (acid-vaibhava) is its shadow, jivas are atomic particles of the spiritual element. Because the jivas are spiritual in character, they also have some degree of independence and have the potentiality of unlimited bliss which is natural to the spiritual realm. Those jivas who resort to Krishna to attain that bliss remains as liberated souls eternally associated with Krishna. But, thinking of his own happiness, if one selfishly desires to enter the neighbouring abode of maya, he turns away from Krishna and takes a material body in the material universe. Having fallen into the revolving wheel of continuous activities, good or bad, with their results, the jiva wanders throughout the universe, sometimes in svarga, sometimes in hell, taking birth with a material body to enjoy life in all the eight million four hundred thousand species of beings.
Therefore a lost jiva must pray -- You are the Lord, the controller of the jivas, and the jivas are Your energies, You are always thinking of their welfare. Whatever happiness a jiva may seek, You kindly bestow it. Therefore one who desires impermanent happiness in the material world achieves it without difficulty by the Lord’s mercy. All the processes to achieve this happiness of sense gratification, such as rules of varna and asrama, yajna, yoga, homa, and vrata, which are pious activities, are simply material without spiritual transcendental nature at all. The results of these practices—elevation to higher planets and sense enjoyment—are material and temporary. Thus, in such activities for satisfying the temporary senses, the soul remains unsatisfied. The attempt to achieve happiness by gaining a temporary situation on a higher planet is a gross error by the soul.
Similarly, by the mercy of devotees, a jnani may perform activities of bhakti. Such jnana mixed with devotional activities is also classified as a secondary path of bhakti. Such a jnani easily arrives at the stage of faith in Krishna, and can quickly proceed in full devotional service, and revive his original position in the spiritual abode or Vaikuntha.

SNANA YATRA
Today is snana yatra and lord jagannath appearance day.
Snana-yatra occurs on the full moon of the month of Jieshtha. It was on this day according to "Skanda Purane" that Jagannath appeared. At least 200,000 pilgrims assemble in the temple complex on Jyestha Purnima to attend the Deities' ablution ceremony held at Snana Vedi, a special bathing altar. It is believed that receiving the darshan of the Lord Jagannath on the day of Snana-yatra cleanses all sins.
In the solemn ceremony of Jagannathi Deity, Baladeva and Subhadra are taken out of Jagannathi Temple and placed on a special platform. Then, while chanting mantras, the deities are washed with 108 pots of water drawn from a well located in the northern part of the temple known as the golden well.
In the evening, after the ablution ritual, Jagannath and Baladeva are put on elephant masks representing Ganesha. The Deities are then dressed in ivory robes and delivered to the "sick room" where they will stay for 2 weeks. During this period, called anavasara, the Deities suffer from colds and are treated by King Puri's doctor. It is said that with the help of Ayurvedic treatments, the doctor cures the deities.
The deities are also washed off all the coloring and painted again. On the day of the Ratha-yatras of the deities are solemnly taken out of the temple and placed on chariots to be taken to the Gundichi temple accompanied by a crowd of believers.
The temple is located three kilometers from the famous Jagannathi temple and has a special significance in the cult of the deity Jagannathi. The Gundichi temple is empty the whole year except for nine days in the Hindu month of Ashadha, when, during the Ratha-Yatra festival, the temple deities of Jagannathi, Baladeva and Subhadra brought from Jagannathi temple on huge chariots are placed in the procession.
According to legend, the original temple at this place was built by Gundich - the wife of King Indradumna, who founded the Jagannathi temple. The Skanda Purana says that the first person to conduct the Snana-yatra ceremony was the founder of the Jagannathi temple, King Indradhyumna.

PURE DEVOTEES NEVER ENTANGLED
A PURE DEVOTEE IS NEVER ENTANGLED IN MATERIAL WORLDLY AFFAIRS EVEN THOUGH HE MAY REMAIN IN THE WORLD LIKE AN ORDINARY MAN.
Lord Brahma to the Supreme Personality of Godhead:
तावद्भयं द्रविणदेहसुहृन्निमित्तं

तावन्ममेत्यसदवग्रह आर्तिमूलं

sokah sprha paribhavo vipulas ca lobhah
tavan mamety asad-avagraha arti-mulam
yavan na te 'nghrim abhayam pravrnita lokah
SYNONYMS
tavat--until then; bhayam--fear; dravina--wealth; deha--body; suhrt--relatives; nimittam--for the matter of; sokah--lamentation; sprha--desire; paribhavah--paraphernalia; vipulah--very great; ca--also; lobhah--avarice; tavat--up to that time; mama--mine; iti--thus; asat--perishable; avagrahah--undertaking; arti-mulam--full of anxieties; yavat--as long as; na--do not; te--Your; anghrim abhayam--safe lotus feet; pravrnita--take shelter; lokah--the people of the world.
TRANSLATION
O my Lord, the people of the world are embarrassed by all material anxieties--they are always afraid. They always try to protect wealth, body and friends, they are filled with lamentation and unlawful desires and paraphernalia, and they avariciously base their undertakings on the perishable conceptions of "my" and "mine." As long as they do not take shelter of Your safe lotus feet, they are full of such anxieties.
PURPORT
One may question how one can always think of the Lord in regard to His name, fame, quality, etc., if one is embarrassed by thoughts of family affairs. Everyone in the material world is full of thoughts about how to maintain his family, how to protect his wealth, how to keep pace with friends and relatives, etc. Thus he is always in fear and lamentation, trying to keep up with the status quo. In answer to this question, this verse spoken by Brahma is very appropriate.
A pure devotee of the Lord never thinks of himself as the proprietor of his home. He surrenders everything unto the supreme control of the Lord, and thus he has no fear for maintaining his family or protecting the interests of his family. Because of this surrender, he no longer has any attraction for wealth. Even if there is attraction for wealth, it is not for sense enjoyment, but for the service of the Lord. A pure devotee may be attracted to accumulating wealth just like an ordinary man, but the difference is that a devotee acquires money for the service of the Lord, whereas the ordinary man acquires money for his sense enjoyment.
Thus the acquisition of wealth by a devotee is not a source of anxieties, as is the case for a worldly man. And because a pure devotee accepts everything in the sense of serving the Lord, the poisonous teeth of accumulation of wealth are extracted. If a snake has its poison removed and bites a man, there is no fatal effect.
Similarly, wealth accumulated in the cause of the Lord has no poisonous teeth, and the effect is not fatal. A pure devotee is never entangled in material worldly affairs even though he may remain in the world like an ordinary man.
