Amish Paradise (Weird Al VIDEO)

PADA: Hee hee. Just because people are living way out in the country, say for example at New Vrndavana, does not mean a pious life will automatically emerge out of nowhere. The training still needs to be done. ISKCON folks failed to learn that lesson. Most devotees thought -- we will move to the country and automatically have simple living and high thinking. Instead, they created high living and simple thinking, at least according to Sulochana dasa.

In other words, having people in an isolated rural situation away from the main society could create a haven for criminal activity because there are less people watching the situation. There has to be some very carefully selected people to be out on their own, away from the normal society's watchdogs, and being responsible for themselves and their society.

A devotee wrote a paper on "Child Protection in ISKCON" and he noted that the current system is regulated by "Rajas and Tamas Guna." And he said the GBC leaders have no interest in the helpful input of genuine child protection advice. People are catching on all over. Anyway, this video is just for fun, although it does have some things to think about. ys pd
