Question About Jayadvaita's BBT Edits

Dear PADA,

Why do you think the Bhagavad Gita was edited in this manner?

=================

There is a clear difference in the translation of Chapter 1 text 43 of the Bhagavad-gita 1972 original edition -- and the edited Second edition of the BBT.

In the 1972 edition here it is:

utsanna-kula-dharmāṇāṁ
manuṣyāṇāṁ janārdana
narake niyataṁ vāso
bhavatīty anuśuśruma

utsanna—spoiled; kula-dharmāṇām—of those who have the family traditions; manuṣyāṇām—of such men; janārdana—O Kṛṣṇa; narake—in hell; niyatam—always; vāsaḥ—residence; bhavati—it so becomes; iti—thus; anuśuśruma—I have heard by disciplic succession.

TRANSLATION
O Kṛṣṇa, maintainer of the people, I have heard by disciplic succession that those who destroy family traditions dwell always in hell.

Then in the re-edited second edition, it reads:

TRANSLATION

O Kṛṣṇa, maintainer of the people, I have heard by disciplic succession that those whose family traditions are destroyed dwell always in hell.

The clear difference in the translation is there. Original Gita says those who destroy the family tradition go to hell, which makes sense. The edited 2nd version says those whose family tradition are destroyed go to hell, which doesn't make much sense to me. I checked few other translations of the same text, and they are very much in line with what Srila Prabhupada had translated in his original Bhagavag-gita As It Is.

[PADA: To me it is very simple. The Jayadvaita program has destroyed the whole ISKCON Vaishnava program and thus -- the family traditions involved. And they drove many families into extreme stress, often splitting the family unit. Indeed ISKCON is almost famous for having an alleged over 90% divorce rate. And a number of their big hero spokesmen who are supposedly married, have re-married a number of times.

After that goal was done, breaking down the family unit, that made the children very ripe for exploiting, because the protective egg shell of shelter for the family unit was broken down, making a sort of haven for child abuse, which happened. So now, the people who break down the family structure and tradition are not going to hell, OK that would be -- Jayadvaita, the GBC, the ICC et al. and their minions etc.

Now, just their victims go to hell, whereas the orchestrators of breaking up the society evidently get a free pass. No, the original idea is correct. The people like Jayadvaita / GBC / ICC et al. who promote their homosexual and pedophile acharya / guru / messiah "tradition" are the main people who go to hell. The victims are more likely to get some sort of benediction pass, maybe not a free pass, but some sort of compensation for being victims. Yep, this reverses the order, the orchestrators are not going down, the victims are going down.

Nope! The orchestrators go down, the victims may or may not go down. Well no kidding, the orchestrators of breaking up the tradition also wanted to change the shastra to suit their agenda. And they did! ys pd]
