Prayers for Saragrahi Vaishnavi Dasi Request

 

We are requesting all kind souls to please say a prayer for the health of Saragrahi Vaishnavi devi, a devotee who lives in our Alachua temple community. She is very ill, had an operation to remove cancer -- and we pray they got it all. The love and prayers of the kind souls have the greatest healing potency.

She has a 15 year old son and she wants to be able to raise him nicely. Her bones had become weakened, so her neck had a crack in the bone and her vertebre as well. We hope to arrange a prasad delivery to her.

[PADA: Oh my, not another cancer devotee. This is very sad for me personally. So many devotees are sick, and many are departing now. OK I know, Krishna is re-arranging the situation by His own process. This poor lady has a young son, so it will be a problem for him if she departs presently, so we hope for her best.

As I have said before, the fact so many devotees are dying sort of untimely is a sign that something is amiss. My lifetime career nurse friend thinks the same, she says there is self-evidently an epidemic in the Krishna world. It is very sad this lady has become a victim of that epidemic. If this account is correct, she has cancer now spread into the bones, which killed my ex-landlord in a short time.

At the same time, Krishna re-shuffles the deck in different ways, and it is not always our job to question how and why He does so. And thus I do understand that if a person is suffering badly in this life, then letting them leave here -- and go onto their next destination -- is sometimes the more merciful solution.

Anyway, if anyone can lend her family a hand, that would be nice. She is in Krishna's hands in any event. May Krishna bless her soul. ys pd]
