People generally cannot understand the actual meaning of chanting and dancing. Describing the Gosvāmīs, Śrī Śrīnivāsa Ācārya stated, kṛṣṇotkīrtana-gāna-nartana-parau: not only did Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu and His associates demonstrate this chanting and dancing, but the six Gosvāmīs also followed in the next generation. The present Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement follows the same principle, and therefore simply by chanting and dancing we have received good responses all over the world. It is to be understood, however, that this chanting and dancing do not belong to this material world. They are actually transcendental activities, for the more one engages in chanting and dancing, the more he can taste the nectar of transcendental love of Godhead

In the Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā, verse 195, it is said that Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī was formerly Vilāsa-mañjarī gopī. From his very childhood Jīva Gosvāmī was greatly fond of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. He later came to Navadvīpa to study Sanskrit, and, following in the footsteps of Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu, he circumambulated the entire Navadvīpa-dhāma. After visiting Navadvīpa-dhāma he went to Benares to study Sanskrit under Madhusūdana Vācaspati, and after finishing his studies in Benares he went to Vṛndāvana and took shelter of his uncles, Śrī Rūpa and Sanātana. This is described in the Bhakti-ratnākara. As far as our information goes, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī composed and edited at least twenty-five books.

They are all very celebrated, and they are listed as follows: (1) Hari-nāmāmṛta-vyākaraṇa, (2) Sūtra-mālikā, (3) Dhātu-saṅgraha, (4) Kṛṣṇārcā-dīpikā, (5) Gopāla-virudāvalī, (6) Rasāmṛta-śeṣa, (7) Śrī Mādhava-mahotsava, (8) Śrī Saṅkalpa-kalpavṛkṣa, (9) Bhāvārtha-sūcaka-campū, (10) Gopāla-tāpanī-ṭīkā, (11) a commentary on the Brahma-saṁhitā, (12) a commentary on the Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu, (13) a commentary on the Ujjvala-nīlamaṇi, (14) a commentary on the Yogasāra-stava, (15) a commentary on the Gāyatrī-mantra, as described in the Agni Purāṇa, (16) a description of the Lord's lotus feet derived from the Padma Purāṇa, (17) a description of the lotus feet of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, (18) Gopāla-campū (in two parts) and (19-25) seven sandarbhas: the Krama-, Tattva-, Bhagavat-, Paramātma-, Kṛṣṇa-, Bhakti- and Prīti-sandarbha.

After the disappearance of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and Sanātana Gosvāmī in Vṛndāvana, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī became the ācārya of all the Vaiṣṇavas in Bengal, Orissa and the rest of the world, and it is he who used to guide them in their devotional service. In Vṛndāvana he established the Rādhā-Dāmodara temple, where we had the opportunity to live and retire until the age of sixty-five, when we decided to come to the United States of America. When Jīva Gosvāmī was still present, Śrīla Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī compiled his famous Caitanya-caritāmṛta.

Later, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī inspired Śrīnivāsa Ācārya, Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura and Duḥkhī Kṛṣṇadāsa to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness in Bengal. Jīva Gosvāmī was informed that all the manuscripts that had been collected from Vṛndāvana and sent to Bengal for preaching purposes were plundered near Viṣṇupura, in Bengal, but later he received the information that the books had been recovered. Śrī Jīva Gosvāmī awarded the designation Kavirāja to Rāmacandra Sena, a disciple of Śrīnivāsa Ācārya's, and to Rāmacandra's younger brother Govinda. While Jīva Gosvāmī was alive, Śrīmatī Jāhnavī-devī, the pleasure potency of Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu, went to Vṛndāvana with a few devotees. Jīva Gosvāmī was very kind to the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas, the Vaiṣṇavas from Bengal. Whoever went to Vṛndāvana he provided with a residence and prasāda. His disciple Kṛṣṇadāsa Adhikārī listed all the books of the Gosvāmīs in his diary.

The forefathers of Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī were all Vaiṣṇavas and were very rich men. His spiritual master at home was Yadunandana Ācārya. Although Raghunātha dāsa was a family man, he had no attachment for his estate and wife. Seeing his tendency to leave home, his father and uncle engaged special bodyguards to watch over him, but nevertheless he managed to escape their vigilance and went away to Jagannātha Purī to meet Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. This incident took place in the year 1439 śakābda (A.D. 1518). Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī compiled three books, named Stava-mālā (or Stavāvalī), Dāna-carita and Muktācarita.

He lived a long time. For most of his life he resided at Rādhā-kuṇḍa. The place where Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī performed his devotional service still exists by Rādhā-kuṇḍa. He almost completely gave up eating, and therefore he was very skinny and of weak health. His only concern was to chant the holy name of the Lord. He gradually reduced his sleeping until he was almost not sleeping at all. It is said that his eyes were always full of tears. When Śrīnivāsa Ācārya went to see Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī, the Gosvāmī blessed him by embracing him. Śrīnivāsa Ācārya requested his blessings for preaching in Bengal, and Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī granted them. In the Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā (186) it is stated that Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī was formerly the gopī named Rasa-mañjarī. Sometimes it is said that he was Rati-mañjarī.

When Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī took permission from all the Vaiṣṇavas before writing Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī also gave him his blessings, but he requested him not to mention his name in the book. Therefore Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī has mentioned Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī only very cautiously in one or two passages of the Caitanya-caritāmṛta. Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī has written in the beginning of his Tattva-sandarbha, "A devotee from southern India who was born of a brāhmaṇa family and was a very intimate friend of Rūpa Gosvāmī and Sanātana Gosvāmī has written a book that he has not compiled chronologically.

Therefore I, a tiny living entity known as jīva, am trying to assort the events of the book chronologically, consulting the direction of great personalities like Madhvācārya, Śrīdhara Svāmī, Rāmānujācārya and other senior Vaiṣṇavas in the disciplic succession." In the beginning of the Bhagavat-sandarbha there are similar statements by Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī. Śrīla Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī compiled a book called Sat-kriyā-sāra-dīpikā, edited the Hari-bhakti-vilāsa, wrote a forword to the Ṣaṭ-sandarbha and a commentary on the Kṛṣṇa-karṇāmṛta, and installed the Rādhāramaṇa Deity in Vṛndāvana. In the Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā, verse 184, it is mentioned that his previous name in the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa was Anaṅga-mañjarī. Sometimes he is also said to have been an incarnation of Guṇa-mañjarī. Śrīnivāsa Ācārya and Gopīnātha Pūjārī were two of his disciples.

Ten miles southwest of the Cāṅpāḍāṅgā railway station on the narrow-gauge railway line from Howrah, in Calcutta, to Āmtā, a village in the Hugalī district, is a small town named Khānākūla-kṛṣṇanagara, where the temple of Abhirāma Ṭhākura is situated. During the rainy season, when this area is inundated with water, people must go there by another line, which is now called the southeastern railway. On this line there is a station named Kolāghāṭa, from which one has to go by steamer to Rāṇīcaka. Seven and a half miles north of Rāṇīcaka is Khānākūla. The temple of Abhirāma Ṭhākura is situated in Kṛṣṇanagara, which is near the kūla (bank) of the Khānā (Dvārakeśvara River); therefore this place is celebrated as Khānākūla-kṛṣṇanagara.

Outside of the temple is a bakula tree. This place is known as Siddha-bakula-kuñja. It is said that when Abhirāma Ṭhākura came there, he sat down under this tree. In Khānākūla-kṛṣṇanagara there is a big fair held every year in the month of Caitra (March-April) on the Kṛṣṇa-saptamī, the seventh day of the dark moon. Many hundreds and thousands of people gather for this festival. The temple of Abhirāma Ṭhākura has a very old history. The Deity in the temple is known as Gopīnātha. There are many sevaita families living near the temple. It is said that Abhirāma Ṭhākura had a whip and that whoever he touched with it would immediately become an elevated devotee of Kṛṣṇa. Among his many disciples, Śrīmān Śrīnivāsa Ācārya was the most famous and the most dear, but it is doubtful that he was his initiated disciple.

Śrī Rāmacandra Kavirāja, the son of Khaṇḍavāsī Cirañjīva and Sunanda, was a disciple of Śrīnivāsa Ācārya and the most intimate friend of Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura, who prayed several times for his association. His youngest brother was Govinda Kavirāja. Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī very much appreciated Śrī Rāmacandra Kavirāja's great devotion to Lord Kṛṣṇa and therefore gave him the title Kavirāja. Śrī Rāmacandra Kavirāja, who was perpetually disinterested in family life, greatly assisted in the preaching work of Śrīnivāsa Ācārya and Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura. He resided at first in Śrīkhaṇḍa but later in the village of Kumāra-nagara on the bank of the Ganges.

Govinda Kavirāja was the brother of Rāmacandra Kavirāja and youngest son of Cirañjīva of Śrīkhaṇḍa. Although at first a śākta, or worshiper of Goddess Durgā, he was later initiated by Śrīnivāsa Ācārya Prabhu. Govinda Kavirāja also resided first in Śrīkhaṇḍa and then in Kumāra-nagara, but later he moved to the village known as Teliyā Budhari, on the southern bank of the river Padmā. Since Govinda Kavirāja, the author of two books, Saṅgīta-mādhava and Gītāmṛta, was a great Vaiṣṇava kavi, or poet, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī gave him the title Kavirāja. He is described in the Bhakti-ratnākara (Ninth Wave).

Sri Dhananjaya pandita

nityānanda-priyabhṛtya paṇḍita dhanañjaya

atyanta virakta, sadā kṛṣṇa-premamaya

The sixteenth dear servant of Nityānanda Prabhu was Dhanañjaya Paṇḍita. He was very much renounced and always merged in love of Kṛṣṇa.

Purport

Paṇḍita Dhanañjaya was a resident of the village in Katwa named Śītala. He was one of the twelve gopālas. His former name, according to Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā, verse 127, was Vasudāma. Śītala-grāma is situated near the Maṅgalakoṭa police station and Kaicara post office in the district of Burdwan. On the narrow railway from Burdwan to Katwa is a railway station about nine miles from Kutwa known as Kaicara. One has to go about a mile northeast of this station to reach Śītala.

The temple was a thatched house with walls made of dirt. Some time ago, the Zamindars of Bājāravana Kābāśī, the Mulliks, constructed a big house for the purpose of a temple, but for the last sixty-five years the temple has been broken down and abandoned. The foundation of the old temple is still visible. There is a tulasī pillar near the temple, and every year during the month of January the disappearance day of Dhanañjaya is observed. It is said that for some time Paṇḍita Dhanañjaya was in a saṅkīrtana party under the direction of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and then he went to Vṛndāvana.

Before going to Vṛndāvana, he lived for some time in a village named Sāṅcaḍāpāṅcaḍā, which is six miles south of the Memārī railway station. Sometimes this village is also known as "the place of Dhanañjaya" (Dhanañjayera Pāṭa). After some time, he left the responsibility for worship with a disciple and went back to Vṛndāvana. After returning from Vṛndāvana to Śītala-grāma, he established a Deity of Gaurasundara in the temple. The descendants of Paṇḍita Dhanañjaya still live in Śītala-grāma and look after the temple worship.Books : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Sri Gadadhara dasa

Books : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Introduction :

In the beginning of the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī writes, "I offer my respects to my spiritual masters." He uses the plural here to indicate the disciplic succession. It is not that he offers obeisances to his spiritual master alone but to the whole paramparā, the chain of disciplic succession beginning with Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself. Thus the guru is addressed in the plural to show the author's highest respect for all the Vaiṣṇavas. After offering obeisances to the disciplic succession, the author pays obeisances to all other devotees, Godbrothers, the expansions of Godhead and the first manifestation of Kṛṣṇa's energy.

Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu (sometimes called Kṛṣṇa Caitanya) is the embodiment of all of these; He is God, guru, devotee and the expansion of God. As His associate Nityānanda, He is the first manifestation of energy; as Advaita, He is an incarnation; as Gadādhara, He is the internal potency; and as Śrīvāsa, He is the marginal living entity. Thus Kṛṣṇa should not be thought of as being alone but should be considered as eternally existing with all His manifestations, as described by Rāmānujācārya.

In the Viśiṣṭādvaita philosophy, God's energies, expansions and incarnations are considered to be oneness in diversity. In other words, God is not separate from all of these; everything together is God.

Books : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Introduction :

Thus Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī discusses Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu as Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and Lord Nityānanda as Balarāma, the first expansion of Kṛṣṇa. Advaitācārya, another principal disciple of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu's, is accepted as an expansion of Mahā-Viṣṇu. Thus Advaitācārya is also the Lord, or, more precisely, an expansion of the Lord. The word advaita means "nondual," and His name is such because He is nondifferent from the Supreme Lord.

He is also called ācārya, teacher, because He disseminated Kṛṣṇa consciousness. In this way He is just like Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Although Lord Caitanya is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself, He appeared as a devotee to teach people in general how to love Kṛṣṇa. Similarly, Advaitācārya appeared just to distribute the knowledge of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Thus He is also the Lord incarnated as a devotee. In the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, Kṛṣṇa is manifested in five different features, and He and His associates appear as devotees of the Supreme Lord in the form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya, Lord Nityānanda, Advaitācārya, Śrī Gadādhara, and Śrī Śrīvāsa.

In all cases, Caitanya Mahāprabhu is the source of energy for all His devotees. Since this is the case, if we take shelter of Caitanya Mahāprabhu for the successful execution of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, we are sure to make progress. One devotional song by Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura states, "My dear Lord Caitanya, please have mercy upon me. There is no one who is as merciful as You. My plea is most urgent because Your mission is to deliver fallen souls, and no one is more fallen than I. I beg priority."

Books : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Adi-lila : Adi 1: The Spiritual Masters : Adi 1.34 : PURPORT :

Īśa-bhaktān refers to the devotees of the Lord like Śrī Śrīvāsa and all other such followers, who are the energy of the Lord and are qualitatively nondifferent from Him. Īśāvatārakān refers to ācāryas like Advaita Prabhu, who is an avatāra of the Lord. Tat-prakāśān indicates the direct manifestation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nityānanda Prabhu, and the initiating spiritual master. Tac-chaktīḥ refers to the spiritual energies (śaktis) of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Gadādhara, Dāmodara and Jagadānanda belong to this category of internal energy.

gadādhara-paṇḍitādi--prabhura nija-śakti

I offer my respectful obeisances unto the internal potencies of the Lord, of whom Śrī Gadādhara Prabhu is the foremost.

Books : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Adi-lila : Adi 3: The External Reasons for Lord Caitanya's Appearance : Adi 3.52 : PURPORT : Sangopangastra-parsadam further indicates that Lord Caitanya is Lord Krsna. His body is always decorated with ornaments of sanda :

Sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam further indicates that Lord Caitanya is Lord Kṛṣṇa. His body is always decorated with ornaments of sandalwood and with sandalwood paste. By His superexcellent beauty He subdues all the people of the age. In other descents the Lord sometimes used weapons to defeat the demoniac, but in this age the Lord subdues them with His all-attractive figure as Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī explains that His beauty is His astra, or weapon, to subdue the demons.

Because He is all-attractive, it is to be understood that all the demigods lived with Him as His companions. His acts were uncommon and His associates wonderful. When He propagated the saṅkīrtana movement, He attracted many great scholars and ācāryas, especially in Bengal and Orissa. Lord Caitanya is always accompanied by His best associates like Lord Nityānanda, Advaita, Gadādhara and Śrīvāsa.

Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Adi-lila : Adi 4: The Confidential Reasons for Lord Caitanya's Appearance : Adi 4.227-228 : TRANSLATION : Bowing down with devotion, I hold on my head the lotus feet of Advaita Ācārya, Nityānanda, Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita, Gadādhara, Svarūpa Dāmodara, Murāri Gupta, Haridāsa and all the other devotees of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya.

Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Adi-lila : Adi 7: Lord Caitanya in Five Features : Adi 7.4 : PURPORT : krsna-varnam tvisakrsnam sangopangastra-parsadam yajnaih sankirtana-prayair yajanti hi su-medhasah :

"In the Age of Kali, people who are endowed with sufficient intelligence will worship the Lord, who is accompanied by His associates, by performance of saṅkīrtana-yajña." (Bhāg. 11.5.32) Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is always accompanied by His plenary expansion Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu, His incarnation Śrī Advaita Prabhu, His internal potency Śrī Gadādhara Prabhu and His marginal potency Śrīvāsa Prabhu. He is in the midst of them as the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

One should know that Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is always accompanied by these other tattvas. Therefore our obeisances to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu are complete when we say śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu -ityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda. As preachers of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, we first offer our obeisances to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu by chanting this Pañca-tattva mantra; then we say Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare.

There are ten offenses in the chanting of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra, but these are not considered in the chanting of the Pañca-tattva mantra, namely, śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is known as mahā-vadānyāvatāra, the most magnanimous incarnation, for He does not consider the offenses of the fallen souls.

Thus to derive the full benefit of the chanting of the mahā-mantra (Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare), we must first take shelter of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, learn the Pañca-tattva mahā-mantra, and then chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra. That will be very effective.

Gadai Das "Deathbed Confession"?

Gadai Dasa aka David Sherk

Report: Deathbed confession in 1985 disappearance of Angelica woman
By Olean Times Herald staff Jul 9, 2020

David Sherk

This photo of David Sherk was taken from his Facebook page.

A 35-year-old disappearance case in Allegany County is possibly solved as a terminal cancer patient has reportedly given his deathbed confession. David Sherk, a neighbor of Flossie Wilbur, who at age 75 disappeared from her home in Angelica in August 1985, is in a medical facility in Wyoming County with terminal cancer and allegedly confessed to the crime, according to a news article by John Anderson, former editor of the Wellsville Daily Reporter and former Allegany County reporter for the Olean Times Herald.

Anderson is currently editor of the Tyler (Texas) Morning Telegraph but was drawn back to report on the case by recent developments. Anderson reported that several police sources confirmed the confession by Sherk, which led to extensive search activity Wednesday in the Town of Almond. The news report indicated Sherk will not be charged because of his condition and cooperation with where the body is possibly buried, police said.

Wilbur has been missing since Aug. 24, 1985, in Angelica, when all police could find were her groceries in her car. The Hornell Evening Tribune reported Wednesday that a New York State Police team was searching an area in the Town of Almond near the Almond dam, following a new lead in the cold case.

Police vehicles lined Route 21 near Webb’s Crossing Road Wednesday afternoon. A field on the creek side of the road had been mowed clear of weeds, and a white tent was set up about 100 yards from the road.

Social media posts linked the search to the Wilbur case. A Steuben County law enforcement source who was not involved with the search told the Evening Tribune that investigators are following up on a tip on the Wilbur case. Trooper James O’Callaghan, the State Police Troop A public information officer, confirmed the Almond activity involved a cold case, but he declined to identify which one.

“I’m not going to get into specifics,” O’Callaghan told the Hornell newspaper. “We’re working on a lead from a cold case. We’re just looking to see if there’s any validity to it.” O’Callaghan said investigators will remain in the area until “they deem that either something has been located that will help in our investigation or they deem that at this point in time, it’s not a credible source or a credible step forward.”

Anderson, the former Wellsville editor, writes that Sherk was an antique collector who had a yard sale year-round at his house on West Main Street in Angelica.
Police said when Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe from the “American Pickers” television show were in the area filming in 2015 they checked out Sherk’s collection but it did not make an episode.

[PADA: Really do not know much about this, and only found out about it just now. Anyway, if he made a death bed confession of some heinous crime, it is way better than a lot of ISKCON leaders who take all their crime secrets to the grave. Unfortunately for them, Krishna and Yamaraja know all their secrets already.

Gadai was living basically alone most of the time and he really had no association, and that is never good for anyone, especially a fledgeling neophyte devotee. I am sad to hear he may have had some connection to a serious crime. At the same time -- it must have been eating at him if this is true -- and so he finally made a confession. That is better than nothing.

Neophytes are prone to acting badly, and that is why Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati says -- we need to beat our wicked mind every day to keep it from drifting off. Some of my "karmi" police friends told me in 1980 -- ISKCON is simply a front for a criminal operation -- they had this basically figured out way back in 1980.

It really is amazing how so many "Krishna devotees" have been connected to so many crimes, including evidently, poisoning their guru. It almost seems a lot of these "devotees" are trying to paint Krishna as some sort of criminal mob boss.

This really does not change my overall mood towards Gadai, may God help him out on his next situation. And it looks to me like, he might need a little of God's help at this stage. We are in any event glad he tried to rectify this as much as he could -- albeit a day late and dollar short -- and perhaps this was one of the contributing reasons he had cancer in the first place, the guilt was getting to him.

As a sort of side note, I was cleaning up some old building siding and came across hundreds of those little silver fish bugs. And at the entrance door in the wood for the bugs were sitting two huge black spiders, with huge fat bellies. Rather obviously, the spiders were simply sitting there at the doorway, feasting on these guys coming in and out.

It really reminded me of how we tend to -- forget -- not only Krishna, but what are the rather dire and rough consequences of forgetting Krishna. I just pray I don't get into that condition again like my hundreds of little pals over here. If we forget Krishna, we end up "destination unknown" as Srila Prabhupada says.

And I just hope Gadai was thinking of Krishna at the end of his situation. Let us hope so ...

Feedback from "Killing for Krishna"

Henry Doktorski: I received a very nice letter from a fellow in Ireland who read my book.

November 20, 2020

I finished your book, “Killing For Krishna.” I found it good to help me heal from the trauma I experienced while in ISKCON. Many, many ISKCON members were abused by their leaders’ strange ideas of Krishna. Most temples copied Kirtanananda’s mood to push devotees to be unpaid slaves of the invented idea that by making money one pleases Krishna. It’s very cultish. You did well to survive after all that weird stuff at New Vrindaban. It would probably ruin most folks.

I joined in 1978 in Ireland, and I helped buy the Inis Rath temple. I’m still trying to heal from all the cult false patterns. It ain’t easy to unlearn fake spiritual concepts. My bad karma, perhaps? Jayatirtha was my first “spiritual master,” then came Satsvarupa. Later, I took diksha outside of ISKCON and then, of course, I was treated like a criminal. Such a cruel little fundamentalist group.

Material energy is cruel. Real surrender to God is a very intimate, private thing.
While living in Ireland, we had little trouble, but while reading your book I saw that Prithu (the temple president at ISKCON Inis Rath) and most of ISKCON tried to copy mad Kirtanananda. Of course the Lord allowed it to happen. It is a priceless lesson for you and all of us to really go deep and see how many nasty traps there are if we follow such an unfortunate person.

It is truly one of the darkest places to go with such a wonderful process. However, I sense ISKCON is now more polished and even more crafty than Kirtanananda was, and it's still is going on. It’s like a phony strange Disneyland version of Krishna.

Reading your book also activated some trauma in me, as I experienced the sense of falseness which cults create. Indeed, I’m lucky to be alive. Four devotees from Ireland committed suicide; such was the damaging effect of their mis-treatment in ISKCON.

I left ISKCON around 2006, but the training—does it ever leave us? Every year in November and December I shut down, cause of old trauma from doing loads of Christmas marathons. Such an artificial, unnatural life style. I feel ISKCON is one the worst cults. It holds real truths, but they use it to cheat folks to make slaves for money for their fake GBC and gurus. I’m healing. I’m learning. I hope the mystical Lord will help you heal fully and a real blossoming of love awakens in your heart.

Clifford Kirk (Keshimardana dasa)

[PADA: Right. A psychotherapist told me that when there is a cult, the people who die from suicide are really only the tip of the iceberg. Many others are suffering terribly, but only a very few more severe cases will actually take the step -- to take their own lives. That means many others, perhaps hundreds or even thousands, are feeling depressed and somewhat suicidal. They are surviving -- meanwhile suffering a lot of mental trauma. They are more in control of their depression, begging the question, what kind of "leaders" make their followers depressed, even suicidal?

I had a friend here who was initiated by a GBC guru, and he just could not live with himself any more -- because he was sort of a violent goonda "enforcer" for the GBC guru. He told me "I have committed many, many dark deeds to defend my guru." And so, after he discovered his guru was bogus, he only lived for about 8 months -- and he took his own life. I really cried over that death, such a waste and for no good reason -- other than his bogus guru had a big ego to feed.

And there are a number of similar cases. So his guru has all the blood of this suicide victim on his hands, since the bogus guru is 100 percent responsible that this event happened. Wow, it seems to me Yamaraja is going to take these gurus and have his agents take the stuffing out of them, if we are to believe shastra. And the enablers and goody two shoes apologists like Mukunda swami will have their place on Yama's planet fixed up as well.

Sometimes there is also physical trauma, because the victims gave the best years of their lives and now that they are more elderly and worn out, and they are somewhat disabled, they get weeded out and left to fend for themselves. Anyway we have seen some other positive feed back from Henry's books -- because then the victim's lives make more sense, they are simply co-victims along with many others. And so it gives them a little relief that they are not just isolated fools who are offenders who are going crazy.

Some devotees commit suicide direct -- and others get cancer etc. due to stress and depression -- and they sort of commit suicide through the back door. Needless to say, these leaders are going to have literally hell to pay for making all these Vaishnavas suffer. This devotee is correct, the reason Kirtanananda became the darling of the ISKCON leaders is-- they wanted to be like him. He was the role model for the rest of them, like Prithu etc.

So it is a cult, and a very nasty one too. The only good news is -- more people are waking up and sharing their experiences and realizations, so it is slowing down future victims from getting exploited. Perhaps Krishna created the internet so people could research all this and figure out what is what.

Right now another professional author has contacted PADA for some help with putting together a book of the history. Again it is odd, so many devotee complain they do not like the books of Henry, and they may -- or may not -- like this author either, meanwhile they are not authoring their own books. Lots of sour grapes out there. Anyway we wish this devotee well, he is right, it is a miracle me, Henry and himself even survived all this. Many did not. ys pd]

Prayer Request for Jagadatma Das

Prayers Requested for His Grace Jagadatma Das Prabhu (ACBSP)

HG Jagadatma Prabhu – a disciple of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada – is currently at the Apollo hospital in Bhubaneshwar, India, awaiting surgery. He developed blisters on his foot which became infected. He was given antibiotics but unfortunately he has developed dry gangrene which affects people with diabetes and blood vessel diseases as in his case.

Unfortunately after further recent tests Jagadatma Prabhu’s arteries in his legs have become blocked, so now it has become a vascular problem.

He will now be admitted for research/treatment on the arteries in both of his legs. When that is hopefully solved then part of his foot may have to be amputated. We kindy ask all the vaishnavas for their heart felt prayers during this time.

HG Jagadatma Prabhu dedicated his life for the service of Krishna. He met the devotees in Australia and received first initiation from Srila Prabhupada in 1977 in Melbourne. He raised six children with his wife in Krishna Consciousness. He established his own farm where he was growing his own food and taking care of cows.

He met His Holiness Gour Govinda Swami while Maharaja was preaching in Australia. Maharaja invited him to go to Bhubaneshwar with his family which he accepted. He lived there for 5 years and his service was paramount in completing the construction of the temple there. Following Gour Govinda Maharaja’s order he became a Vanaprastha at the age of 50. Since then he helps individuals in their Krsna Consciousness by giving guidance and training.

Gaura Govinda Maharaja program was supporting Fakir Mohan:

================================

[PADA: Yep, I really do not get it? We need to run off with Gaura Govinda maharaja, who was certified as GBC guru in 1986, at the same time they re-certified (officially reinstated) homosex with taxi drivers in the holy dham as "Vishnupada." And then people thought Gaura Govinda maharaja was an elevated soul, because he was "2/3 show if hands voted in" to the homosex with taxi drivers in the holy dham "eternal guru sampradaya from Krishna"?

Baffling?

How many ordinary people walking down the street think homosex with taxi drivers in a holy land is part of -- "a chain of gurus from God"? And even worse, what would the opinion of God's agents like Lord Yamaraja be -- of such an alleged guru chain from God process? And why would anyone "dedicate their life" to serving this illicit sex with men, women and children guru parampara, and its main henchmen / apologists / defenders / participants / voted in compromised lackeys?

Then, after setting up their nice pedophile messiahs club over here in the USA, and ruining the name of Krishna over here, they sneaked off to India to take advantage of the fact that people in India know little about the scandalous and murderous guru party over there? Like Bhakti Vikas swami and all the rest of the fleeing criminals have done? Isn't this called -- cheating?

Bhutatma dasa and Gadai dasa Depart

[PADA: Oh my! The list of my "dearly departed God brothers" keeps getting longer. I am myself not too far away from being on that list myself.

It is amazing that some of my God brothers thought they could imitate our guru and sit in a big golden Vyasasana seat and "take over" the post of guru, knowing all the while that our lives here are very temporary. And thus, we will not sit on our golden Vyasasana guru seat for a very long time, then we will be forced to depart by the time factor. Then, we will have to explain to Yamaraja why we tried to hijack our guru's seat. Very sad future for the folks who did that.

Anyway, Bhutatma is another God brother who has departed after a long bout with various ailments, including terminal cancer. He had a mystery ailment of very bad headaches and loss of sight, the exact cause of that problem was evidently not able to be diagnosed. So in that sense, we are glad for his departure, because that ends his suffering in this particular body. He was part of the group that sympathized with original books.

He is on another journey now, and we wish him well on that voyage.

Gadai das (David Sherk) was another devotee also suffering from terminal cancer for the past several years. He was in and out of the hospital for some time now, so we all knew he was going to depart at any time. He was very friendly with PADA and he sometimes made anonymous comments and contributions to our news.

He was basically living by himself on some remote property in North West New York State (near Buffalo) in a sort of austere cabin. That area has minus 35 degree winters, so it is very austere in winter there. So he was another person who just felt alienated from ISKCON and he just had to live independently.

And he would rather live in an isolated cabin somewhere than participate in the GBC's living guru process. He told me these gurus "made ISKCON uninhabitable." So once again, more and more departed God brothers (and sisters) and it oddly seems almost always the cause is "terminal cancer." So we believe that the GBC's "living guru" process causes immense stress to the rank and file people especially, and literally makes them sick. And literally, can cause them to die.

The conclusion is -- God speed to these spiritual souls. May Krishna help them get into His Eternal Loving Service. ys pd]

====================

This is a previous post from Mahashakti das Prabhu about 1:00 AM EST:

I just received word that our dear godbrother Bhutatma prabhu has left for the spiritual world. May Srila Prabhupada receive that sincere soul with open arms. He did so much wonderful service for His Divine Grace.

He spent his last days completely absorbed in hearing and chanting the Holy Names. He gave up solid foods for over two months yet remained fully lucid and conscious and continually spoke Krsna katha with visiting godbrothers. He received many, many phone calls from his God brothers all over the world, expressing their love and appreciation for the service he rendered.

Bhutatma prabhu will be greatly missed but we can take consolation knowing he is with so many other departed God brothers at the feet of our eternal spiritual master Srila Prabhupada.

Akshaya Patra Trustees Resign (ISKCON Bangalore)

 https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/storm-akshaya-patra-s-teacup-trustees-tell-tnm-why-they-resigned-137847

[PADA: As we have said here many times, it is a miracle that Madhu Pandit was able to cobble together "the world's biggest free food program" in India of all places. Why? Since India is famous as a place where it is hard to get anything organized, like for example a good working sewer for the residents of Vrndavana, who are dumping open sewage in the Jamuna river. Nevermind the Jamuna is already severely contaminated way before it gets to Vrndavana. OK there is no real organization, no real "person in charge," nowhere to take your complaints to, in sum -- no head to operate the body -- as Srila Prabhupada would say.

So after 1997 the ISKCON GBC went against Madhu Pandit, because he declared that Srila Prabhupada is the acharya. And the GBC started a big lawsuit going all the way to the Supreme Court in Delhi -- which their GBC people told me was "in order to take down Madhu Pandit." And they even said their real goal is to have him put into jail. Never mind some of their folks said he should be maybe beaten up (or killed?).

Amazing! There is a court where you can go to in India -- and represent the ISKCON GBC's "illicit sex with men, women and children -- in Krishna's guru's and successors parampara program," and the courts will accept your case as valid! Yes, as a matter of fact -- Krishna is God, therefore His "guru successors" are having illicit sex with everyone in the house, maybe even the family goat! And that is what you want us to accept as a valid religion in our court here? Yup!

And the courts thinks this is a valid religion? Try that in Yamaraja's court! "I am here to defend the illicit sex with men, women and children messiahs program." OK, sorry you are now going to be taking birth as a stool eating amoeba, case closed.

And the foolish courts there think this GBC's molester messiah's project is a valid religion -- in India -- where they should at least have some nominal respect for Krishna? Where is the even most basic respect for God -- if the courts facilitate a program of the worship of illicit sex with men, women and children -- as God's successors? That means that Madhu Pandit is going to have to scramble to build some other means of keeping afloat, since even the courts are a ship of fools, and he did start a process to keep himself afloat. I think that is smart.

The upshot is -- anyone who wants to worship Srila Prabhupada should be banned, beaten, sued, jailed, and maybe -- killed. But for sure, sued. Unfortunately for the GBC, Madhu Pandit was by then a rising star in government and business circles, because he was making the Akshaya Patra "feeding the children" program, which made him a difficult target to take down. You could say, that program saved him from being "taken down." So Madhu Pandit became the sort of darling of the big leaders, thus the courts had to handle him gently.

So it was in my opinion, a brilliant strategy to have the Akshaya Patra profile. In India, even the high courts seem to have no idea that homosexual pedophile acharya's programs should not even be allowed to set foot into any court to promote their agenda and be accepted as valid complaintents.

In short, the homosexual pedophile guru program is even seen as valid in the Supreme Court of Delhi, while trying to subvert the idea of worship the pure devotee. And the courts there allowed the pedophile messiahs a seat and a position of authority there, even in various courts. So that means, you might need a feeding the poor program as a back up defense to give yourself credibility, and that will build a sort of defense wall to keep the shark pack from eating you up.

So when you are in a land where even the courts allow the worship of illicit sex with men, women and children as the "eternal chain of acharyas from Krishna and India," you are in a world where you may have to take other measures to defend yourself. Yep, Sulochana said anyone who allows these butt sex pooja people are -- boot lickers for the butt busters.

Fast forward to today, and we believe Akshaya Patra has mainly served its secondary purpose, at least for the devotees of Krishna. It kept these devotees from being eaten up alive by the shark's teeth of the GBC, and their evidently pro-molester messiah's courts. And now the GBC's sharks teeth have been whittled down to a nub by the virus problem, they simply can no longer afford to spend another $20,000,000 suing the Akshaya Patra folks. Various of their temples are declaring "a financial emergency."

It is not really our main priority to "feed the poor," although we should do that to some extent, if that can be done without a lot of extraneous endeavor. The main priority for Krishna's devotees is to give Krishna to others. So I believe that maybe Krishna is saying -- it is time to hand off Akshaya Patra to the people who are actually in the business of feeding the poor, and let them handle it.

Although that is not likely to happen properly, if we look at how badly other chaotic charity programs are run over there. It may in fact turn out that Madhu Pandit the best -- or only -- person who can manage such a huge enterprise there.

Of course begging the question, why hasn't the India government started a program to feed the poor -- a long time ago? I forgot, same government has a court that defends the worship of illicit sex with men, women and children as a chain of Krishna's acharya's successors, and allows burying pedophiles and porno swamis in the holy land of India. How could we expect such a government to govern anything properly?

Various people have criticized that I am a fan of Bangalore. Well yes, because anyone who wants to promote Srila Prabhupada as the acharya is an ally, and if we do not make allies, we cannot make any structure. If we have great teachings, but no means to implement the teachings practically, then hardly anyone will take these teachings very seriously. As is happening now.

In the beginning of all this Madhu Pandit was in a lot of open discussions with some of us "Western Ritviks." Not too long after that, he was being attacked by a number of these "Western Ritviks," which sort of convinced him to go his separate way. For example the Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad / HKC Jaipur / Mahatma das (LA) / Pancali / Krishna Kirtan et al. started to argue that Srila Prabhupada's whole program of taking donations from corporate folks is bogus. So actually there are attacking Srila Prabhupada more than Madhu Pandit.

Srila Prabhupada's program took donations from the Monsanto people, Bill Gates people, even abortion doctors, meat manufacturing plant workers etc. and this above team said that is totally bogus, we have to filter out our donations to accept only from pious sources. OK there are no really pious sources of donations, unless we are going to live off of donations from the PETA foundation. Notice they are giving the IDENTICAL argument of some of the Gaudiya Matha's folks, Srila Prabhupada is bogus for taking donations from sinful people and organizations.

And then some members of their team said Madhu Pandit is part of the Illuminati / deep state / serpent people from the Draco constellation cabal and all sorts of other haywire ideas, so he had to cut these "Western Ritvik" people off, because they were even more nutty than the GBC people in certain respects. Who would blame him? So he has to keep a clean profile if he is going to work with the top business managers and government people, thus he cannot be associated with all these nut cases. That is common sense.

Even now some of these nutty devotees are writing to tell me that the Midwest USA states are "opening up because they are liberating the people." Well yup, they are opening up more work for hospitals, casket makers and morgues. And business executives are taking more and more of their investment money to invest in making things in China, where they contained the virus, to set up shop in a place that is not in total chaos all the time.

So these devotees are thinking more and more people getting sick, dying and having no job, is therefore -- liberating them. It is nutty, and I also cannot be associated with these people for that reason.

This is "liberating people"?
Hee hee, if you say so prabhu!
In the horror movies this is also how people
"get liberated" ...

Anyway, all this might be a sign from Krishna. Lets review all this connection to Akshaya Patra as our bigger source of interest. It has served us well, and we may still need it for some time to come. However, straight up preaching should also start to take more precedence, since that is the will of the acharyas.

And if straight up preaching had been done by the Bangalore folks a long time ago, i.e. "we do not accept that illicit sex with men, women and children are Krishna's successors," they would have won in the court of public opinion in 1997 and maybe (probably?) none of these court cases would have been allowed in the first place. The legal court would have been shamed by being associated with defending a homosexual and debauchees guru program -- and they would have dropped the case.

In sum, no court wants to be viewed as "boot lickers for the butt busters messiah's program," and if Bangalore had used this argument at the start, they would have won a long time ago in the court of public opinion and nullified the justification for a court case. In other words, had they actually preached, they would have won by straight preaching and not needed all these other side baggage programs.

Anyway, we like their programs overall, and their web cam events etc. Their Milpitas program here is doing great, and so is their NJ branch. We wish them well, and we hope they will do more preaching as this evolves. Madhu Pandit has said he is willing to try to form some collective alliance with the Western ritviks, once they get organized enough to present themselves as a viable operation.

That has been lacking, the Western ritviks as a group have not been able to organize and they are often infighting, including some of them who are infuriated I am not posting their political oriented links about "dead people voting" and all sorts of other deviated out croppings.

So Madhu Pandit says, once you guys get organized let me know, but he has had good reasons to be skeptical of working with the Westerners, who seem to be -- well sadly -- like India, unable to organize things properly. And worse, likely to stab the other ritviks in the back, and thus are not very trustworthy. Of course I am not despairing, we have made a lot of progress and we will continue to do so. And I am making much more progress with newer and more independent folks vs the old and rigid "senior devotee" club, including some so-called ritviks.

ISKCON's Purnacandra swami: "Advisor" To God's Messiahs

[PADA @ angel108b@yahoo.com]

The following is an excerpt from Purnacandra Goswami’s “Unspoken Obstacles on the Path to Bhakti”

Thrown from the Horse.

Have you ever experienced an emotion rearing its head and throwing you? I was thrown off a horse at the age of twelve. I was winded and desperately gasped for air. My riding teacher told me, “Get back on and try again.” I could hardly breathe and thought, “No way!” He continued with firm conviction, “If you don’t get back on now, you’ll never ride a horse again.”

Sensing the wisdom of his statement, I gathered courage, climbed back up and rode the horse without a problem. The same principle applies to dealing with emotions—guilt, anger, envy, lamentation, fear or depression. If we are thrown for a loop, we must get up and try again. It may be difficult at the time, but it gets easier as you do it—and almost impossible if you don’t.

[PADA: Yep, here we go again. The ISKCON GBC's "gurus" are "God's living successors on earth," and they can "absorb sins" because they are equals to Jesus. Sign me up!

Srila Prabhupada says, if we neophytes take sins from others, we will get sick, fall down, or both. And in sum -- neophytes who take sins will have to suffer, and they are.

And! The members of their messiahs group keeps falling into: illicit sex; sordid affairs; maybe watching porno; shooting live ammunition at occupied buildings (full of people); drinking beer; supporting criminal activity -- including assassinations of dissenters; and -- according to their spokesman Jayadvaita swami -- their messiahs are prone to "illicit sex with men, women and children."

This is really good news! That means the family goat is being spared from their messiah's sexual predatory program!

Anyway! Not a problem, after these messiahs crash and burn in major scandals, or they endorse other fools as messiahs who are making scandals, we should just get these messiahs back into their messiah's uniforms, put them back into giant golden seats in ISKCON temples, and have them once again be worshipped as God's successors. AGAIN!

Because while they are God's living spokemens on earth, they sometimes temporarily "fall off the horse" of pure service to God. And we are going to call this process of falling messiahs and their rectification -- "the guru reform school," where we will get these wayward messiahs back into the messiah's saddle.]

Let’s consider what happens when devotees sometimes fall from grace and become guilt ridden. They may self-flagellate, thinking this a necessary ritual to get back in good graces with the Lord. They may wallow in lamentation, taking shelter of tamo-guna. Or they may become defensive and try to passionately bolster their self-worth with a brazen front, which leads to self-deception.

These guys do not seem to ever lament or regret their
banning, beating, molesting, suing and killing program?
That is what people ask me all the time,
"Where are their feelings of guilt"?

[PADA: People who take the post of messiah -- and fall down left, right and center -- are not wallowing in lamentation. They are arrogant fools who have no conscience. Or they would never have taken the post of guru knowing in advance, they still have lusty desires and so on and so forth. Nor would ISKCON's leaders repeatedly appoint such dubious people to the post of guru repeatedly -- after seeing their previous gurus falling down left, right and center and making ISKCON a worldwide laughingstock.]

I have been with devotees in such states, and often their problem is insecurity. Strengthening a devotee’s feeling of self-worth is important in bringing him back to a position where he can try again. Acceptance plays a major role in this endeavor although it is the subtlest element involved. The devotee must feel accepted and not in a condescending way. Since the material energy is so strong, many sadhakas will slip on the path and need friendship, understanding and encouragement to continue.

[PADA: Yep, here we go again. The guru is a resident of Krishna loka, and he is God's eternal associate -- therefore -- he is also a rank and file basic newby congregation member, a brand new neophyte practitioner, at best a church elder -- who may fall down. Thus, there is no standard for being God's eternal associate, since the eternal associate and the newby practitioner are now equals.]

There are additional points about falling from grace and a devotee’s response to it. yadi kuryat pramadena yogi karma vigarhitam yogenaiva dahed amho nanyat tatra kadacana

“If, because of momentary inattention, a yogi accidentally commits an abominable activity, then by the very practice of yoga he should burn to ashes the sinful reaction, without at any time employing any other procedure.” (Bhag. 11.20.25)

[PADA: Yep, here we go again. God messiahs and successors are often abominable actors. They might be watching porno, drinking beer, having illicit sex with men, women and children, because God's successors are often abominable people, any questions?

(A) He is God's successor, therefore, (B) he is often abominable. That has been their entire mantra since 1978, i.e. God's successor acharyas are often acting abominably, because acharyas are often abominable people. No, a new person might fail, and we should be forgiving of the failures of beginners, but this rule does not apply to gurus and messiahs.]

The word yogena here refers to jnana-yoga and bhakti-yoga, since they both have the power to burn karma to ashes. The word amhas or “sin” refers to an accidental fall down against one’s desire. Premeditated misuse of the Lord’s mercy is much more serious.

[PADA: There is no "burning up of the sin of imitating the acharyas" mentioned? The people who do that are destined for the most obnoxious regions, no "atonement process" for that odious offense is mentioned? Go straight to hell, do not pass go, and go to Krishna's prison on the hellish planets. And yes, sitting on a Vyasa seat without authority is a premeditated act. And yes, the enablers of that process like Purnacandra are implicated in these hellish activities.]

The Lord prohibits any extraneous purificatory rituals, since the yoga systems are themselves the most purifying processes, especially bhakti-yoga. If one gives up one’s regular devotional practices to perform a special ritual or penance, trying to purify a sinful reaction, one may become guilty of the additional fault of considering karma superior to bhakti.

One should pick oneself up from an accidental fall down and go on enthusiastically with one’s devotional duties without being discouraged. Still, one should regret; otherwise, there will be no purification. If, however, one becomes overly depressed about an accidental fall down, one will not have the enthusiasm to continue on the devotional path.

Healing

We have explored some forms of misguided ethos or dysfunctional dynamics in our Society. Over many years, these dynamics have been ushered in by past leaders, although the leaders were well- intentioned and faithful to Srila Prabhupada. An ethos that hampers the free flow of devotion has crept in.

[PADA: No, they are not saying they are minor league managerial "leaders," they are saying they are full blown God's successor messiahs and equals to Jesus who can absorb sins (diksha gurus). And when they get sick and fall down -- their followers sometimes lament -- our guru fell down or got sick from taking our sins. A managerial leader is not a person who is equal to Jesus, notice that Purnacandra mixes managers and messiahs as one and the same entity.]

We cannot blame one person nor can we consider such leaders condemned by the Lord since He accepts only a devotee’s sincerity and positive contributions. Still, the mistaken moods, ideas and dealings must be clearly understood and rooted out, at least within oneself. One could also avoid persons who espouse or exhibit such unhealthy, obstructive ideas. There is no need to go on a witch-hunt or become angry or bitter. Such strong negative emotions would needlessly damage one. What’s done is done. If we consider deeply, it is quite possible that you or I could have done the same or worse.

[PADA: Yep, how many times we heard this? Devotees are being banned, beaten, molested, sued and assassinated, but we need to "look within." Nothing to see here! Just let the victims suffer. Yes, I could have been worse than the bank robber who shot up the people in the bank. What is the point of saying these things other than -- to divert people from the real issues at hand, and suffering of devotees at hand. They are bad, but I could have been worse, then there is no ability to discriminate right and wrong action. It has paralyzed justice in ISKCON.]

Here is an interesting statement by Srila Prabhupada’s Godbrother, Sripada B.R. Sridhara Maharaja on this theme; it is philosophically deep and also healing for those who have been jostled and bruised while trying to surrender to Mahaprabhu’s mission within any organization. “On the whole, we must think that no blame is to be put on others, and it is actually true. We are responsible for our disgrace, our fallen condition. And the path to self-improvement is also similar: we must learn to critique ourselves and appreciate the environment.

"Our appreciation should especially be for Krsna and His devotees, and then gradually everyone else. He has not given anyone the authority to harm us. If it appears that way, it is only superficial and misleading. That anyone can do harm to anyone else is misleading. It is only true on the superficial plane. Of course, this does not condone harming others or ignoring oppression, but from the absolute standpoint there is no harm. When we reach the highest stage of devotion, we shall see that everything is friendly and that our apprehension was wrong. It was a misconception.” (Loving Search for the Lost Servant pp. 21–22)

[PADA: Oh great, the person who says we should not protest his bogus gurus is being quoted here. "None should protest." And that painted a bulls-eye on our protesting group as "renegade offenders."]

Srila Prabhupada had to face many problems in the beginning while establishing ISKCON. He began with nothing and had to deal with all the immaturity, madness and fighting of thousands of neophyte devotees. His tolerance was incredible. Here is an important explanation, taken from a letter he wrote to Atreya Rsi Dasa back in February 1972:

[PADA: Great, the people who are immature, fighting, and maybe suffering from madness, should be declared as God's successors / messiahs / acharyas, and Sridhara Maharaja defended that deviation.]

“It is not so much that because there may be some faults in our godbrothers and godsisters, or because there may be some mismanagement or lack of cooperation, that this is due to being impersonalists, no. It is the nature of the living condition to always have some fault. Even in the Spiritual World there is some fault and envy—sometimes the Gopis will quarrel over Krishna’s favor, and once Krishna was so much attracted to Radharani that by mistake he tried to milk the bull instead of the cow.

[PADA: Swell, the reason we should tolerate their illicit sex with men, women and children God's messiahs program is -- because the gopis are sometimes envious? Where do they come up with this stuff?]

And sometimes when the Gopis used to put on their dress and make-up for seeing Krishna, they would be too much hasty and smear kumkum and mascara in the wrong places and their ornaments and dresses would appear as if small children had been trying to dress themselves.

“There are so many examples. But it is not the same as material fault or material envy, it is transcendental because it is all based on Krishna. Sometimes when one Gopi would serve Krishna very nicely, the others would say, ‘Oh, she has done so nicely, now let me do better for pleasing Krishna.’ That is envy, but it is transcendental, without malice.

"So we shall not expect that anywhere there is any Utopia. Rather, that is impersonalism. People should not expect that even in the Krishna Consciousness Society there will be Utopia. Because devotees are persons, therefore there will always be some lacking. But the difference is that their lacking, because they have given up everything to serve Krishna—money, jobs, reputation, wealth, big educations, everything—their lackings have become transcendental because, despite everything they may do, their topmost intention is to serve Krishna. ‘One who is engaged in devotional service, despite the most abominable action, is to be considered saintly because he is rightly situated.’

“The devotees of Krishna are the most exalted persons on this planet, better than kings, all of them, so we should always remember that and, like the bumblebee, always look for the nectar or the best qualities of a person. Not like the utopians, who are like the flies who always go to the open sores or find the faults in a person, and because they cannot find any utopia, or because they cannot find anyone without faults, they want to become void, merge, nothing—they think that is utopia, to become void of personality.

"So if there is sometimes slight disagreements between devotees, it is not due to impersonalism, but it is because they are persons, and such disagreements should not be taken very seriously. The devotee is always pessimistic about the material world, but he is very optimistic about spiritual life; so in this way, you should consider that anyone engaged in Krishna’s service is always the best person.”

Srila Prabhupada once said that spiritual life is difficult, but material life is impossible. Therefore, a devotee must always be tolerant and look on the bright side. If one expects too much from any spiritual organization, seeking perfection in all dealings, one will be disappointed. If one then wants to become void, or lose oneself, that is impersonalism, the other side of what we discussed earlier in this chapter.

In other words, impersonalism lurks in all corners—either blindly covering oneself over, avoiding the variety of personal dealings, including faults, or always seeing faults and focusing on them excessively—both indicate and spawn impersonalism. Healing comes, however, by practicing being personal, and that practice naturally brings one to the point of being personal. Thus, being personal is both the means
and the end.

=====================

Purnacandra Maharaja joined Srila Prabhupada’s movement when he was 17 years old. For more than 38 years he served ISKCON with great dedication. His knowledge of the Vedic scriptures was vast and profound.

[PADA: Yep, God's messiahs and successors are prone to illicit sex with men, women and children, and maybe -- the family goat. How profound is that!]

For many years he was teaching Bhakti Sastri course and many other courses to the devotees.

[PADA: Yep, someone has to teach people that God's messiahs are often debauchees, fools, drunks, sexual predators, orchestrators of crimes etc. It is a dirty job but someone has to do it!]

He had very deep attachment to Sri Vrindavana-dhama.

[PADA: Yep, Vrndavana is a great place to bury their homosexual pedophile messiahs, and porno swamis -- in samadhi. Let me hang out here so I can add "worship of deviants and pedophiles in samadhis" to the dham, and make it more holy!

OK guess what, you folks are polluting the dham with your pedophile samadhi ideas. How many religions want to bury pedophiles as the saints of their religion, in their holy land? Raise your hands. OK, it is only Purnacnadra's clan raising their hands here.]

He divided his preaching time between Russia and Balkans, but Karttik he would always spend in Vrindavan. Over the last few years he was writing a book dedicated to Lord Krishna’s pastimes in Vrindavana. He was always deeply absorbed in the holy names. The concentration and intensity with which he would chant the holy name every day was incomparable.

[PADA: Yes, but if we are chanting "all glories to our homosexual pedophile guru sampradaya," what is the value of such chanting? It is going to take everyone of the participants to hell. Srila Prabhupada said that Radha Kunda babajis are residents of naraka, imagine where the officiators of the pedophile acharyas program are going to?]

Purnacandra Goswami, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, joined ISKCON in New York city in 1976. He travelled throughout the United States distributing books on the Radha Damodar bus party. In 1981 he journeyed east, leading the first book distribution team in Hong Kong. Returning to the US he served as a bhakta-trainer, sankirtan leader and preacher. Venturing to the Orient again in 1984, but this time to the Philippines, Purnacandra Goswami managed the Manila temple and later conducted Vedic presentations in many universities.

Later he resided in India and began preaching in universities throughout Gujarat. Arriving in England in 1987, he began lecturing in the London temple, introducing new guests to Gaudiya Vaishnava practices.

Noticing that many new devotees were leaving the ISKCON communities due to what he saw as lack of training, he began conducting tutorials of the Bhagavad-Gita in 1991 which later developed into regular Bhakti Sastri seminars at the Bhakti Vedanta Manor and the London temple.

The years 1992 to 1997 brought about more of the same and he began teaching in other countries including Ireland, France, India, Latvia, Lithuania, the Philippines and Russia. In 1997 he moved to Russia and continued teaching and counseling devotees here and in Eastern Europe.

Purnacandra Goswami is presently the Chairman of the Sastric Advisory Council (SAC) which writes philosophy papers to assist ISKCON’s Governing Body. He has authored a book entitled “Unspoken Obstacles On The Path To Bhakti” and he has written and narrated the “Gitamrita”, a dramatic reading of the Bhagavad-Gita.

[PADA: Yep, God's messiahs need "an advisory committee." And what is the "good advice" the messiahs need to hear?, -- that God's successors and messiahs are often debauchees, sexual predators, perhaps child molesters, and orchestrators of the murders of dissenters to their pedophile pooja process. Jeepers, sign me up, looks like a free ticket to the hellish planets! ys pd]

Gaura Gopal On Faulty Acharyas

Who is a resident of Krishna's loka?

Gaura Gopala blocked me when I said we cannot mix regular devotee fall downs with acharyas having alleged fall downs.

https://gauragopala.blogspot.com/2020/11/it-is-very-dangerous-for-us-to-judge.html?

GGD: It is very dangerous for us to judge a devotee of Krishna based on rumors, gossip or even fall downs because we do not know the heart of that devotee and his / her love for Guru and Krishna.

[PADA: The GBC are not claiming to be rank and file "devotees," they are claiming to be full fledged self realized acharyas. Anyone who loves their guru would not ever dare to claim to be their guru's successor prematurely. That can only be done when they are fully qualified for that post. People who are falling down left, right and center are simply -- not qualified to take the post of guru and God's successor.

This is the same problem we have with guys like Bhakti Vikas swami. He says his GBC people -- who are maybe thinking of illicit sex -- are gurus who are thinking of Krishna. Nope! Srila Prabhupada says the conditioned souls who are thinking of illicit sex are NOT thinking of Krishna and it is a VERY SERIOUS APARADHA to mix these levels together.

A neophyte will likely have many unwanted desires (anarthas) and he needs to become free of these desires BEFORE claiming to be advanced even to the Madhyam plane, never mind the Uttama plane. Madhyam devotees start at the point of being free of anarthas. Then again a Madhyam devotee does not take the post of acharya and claim to be able to absorb the sins of others etc., because his position is still not fully fixed.

Krishna makes the female form (Radha) for His enjoyment and not ours. If someone does not understand this point, he is not a guru. And he does not rank too high even in the neophyte's status.]

Even on the Spiritual path, a devotee sometimes makes mistakes however, that is between them and the Spiritual Master to deal with.

[PADA: That has not been the problem. The GBC system has been banning, beating, molesting, suing and assassinating Vaishnavas. This is not a one time mistake -- because it is a pattern going on for decades, it is conscious deviation and offense. The GBC says acharyas are often falling into illicit sex with men, women and children the whole time practically, that is not a one time error.]

It is very dangerous for us to judge a devotee of Krishna based on rumors, gossip or even fall downs because we do not know the heart of that devotee and his / her love for Guru and Krishna. Krishna and the Spiritual master never look at the faults of an aspiring devotee, they ONLY see their service. And based on that service, the Guru instructs his disciple according to their level of faith and commitment which may seem heavy to others and outsiders.

The word 'Guru' means heavy.

That is why the Guru or Spiritual Master sometimes instruct his disciple by chastising them or glorify them differently, based on the disciples commitment and realizations. For example, an already initiated disciple will always get different instructions than an aspiring un-initiated seeker of truth who is beginning their Spiritual path.

This is because more is expected from an initiated disciple who knows the rules and regulations and has already made their choice and promised to serve his Spiritual Master to be trained for spiritual awakening. In this way, the relationship between Guru and disciple is VERY personal, special and unique between them, and NOT understood by others.

So we should be very careful not to judge others (offend) even if they have previously fallen down due to some difficulty.

[PADA: This is what we hear all the time, such and such GBC guru fell down, but now he is rectified. That means they think acharyas are in the process of rectification and they are not cleared of deviations already. The GBC has a "guru reform" program, that means they think acharyas are deviants who need reform.]

Also the fact is, because of a devotee's early training as a brahmacari (male) or Brahmacarini (female) in the Temple Ashram, the devotee has a better chance of remembering Krishna, even if there are some difficulties along the path. Just like the pastime of Arjamil in Srimad Bhagavatam, there can be causeless mercy, or there can be a genuine effort to never give up no matter what happens.

[PADA: The life of sinful Ajamil, and the life of an acharya, cannot be blended together, sorry!]

Just like a child never gives up trying to walk no matter how many times he falls down. Hare Krishna. Krishna is everyone's dear friend who selflessly offers more service to His genuine dedicated dear selfless "friends", than they can EVER do for Him as seen in painting below.

To the inhabitants of Goloka-Vrindavana, Krishna is NOT known as the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, although He is seen as someone very special, admired and unique. To the inhabitants of Goloka-Vrindavan Krishna is NEVER referred to as the Supreme Lord who they all bow down too and worship like they do in the Vaikuntha planets with Vishnu or Narayana.

No, they do not care for that in Goloka-Vrindavana, to them, Krishna is just a wonderful caring selfless little boy and their best friend who always looks out for them, who they all love Him very dearly and would do anything to please Him.**

[PADA: OK so the GBC are acharyas aka "residents of Krishna loka," "Goloka-Vrndavana" etc., therefore, they are often falling into illicit sex with men, women and children. And drinking beer, shooting at occupied buildings, watching porno etc. Really Gaura Gopala das?

The residents of Krishna loka are having illicit sex left, right and center, and that is something "we can not criticize because no one knows their real relationship with Krishna"? We already know what is what here, they are falling because they do not have a fixed relationship with Krishna, and these falling down clowns are for sure -- not residents of Krishna's loka. ys pd]
