PADA: Siyah -- gone at only 17. Yes prabhu, seeing how uncertain and whimsical our life span is, it is rather shocking that so many senior Prabhupada devotees go all the way to the end of their lives -- without ever making any public comment on the state of ISKCON, the position of an actual acharya etc. For example -- do they agree or not agree with the 1978 guru appointment, the book changes, the offering of bhogha to deviants, what to speak of the poison issue and etc. 

Nobody knows what the bulk of them think. In fact generally we do not hear anything until they are on death's door, then we get to "pray for them." Worse, a number of them still argue that we need to worship the so-called living person, and they recite the GBC, Gaudiya Math or Narayan Maharaja propaganda. However, most of them just retreated into the wood work, and no one can even find most of them for the most part. A number of them also die with no known announcement because no other devotees even know they died. 

They basically abandoned ship when the ship hit stormy weather. Yep, that is what happened. But you are right, the law of God is something like -- repent now -- or be condemned till the end of time for -- not -- repenting. How true! So the window of time for them to speak up and clear the record is gradually closing -- on all of them. 

Similarly, the time for victims is also closing and therefore more and more of them are coming forward. The fact that it has taken so long for some of these victims to come forward is proof that they did not get proper resources, support, help, sympathy, and empathy. Thus they had to largely suffer in silence -- to save the mighty GBC guru regime.

RAMESVARA IS MY ABUSER

YES, why are high profile EX Gurus like Robert Grant / Ramesvara , after sexually abusing me throughout my childhood -- allowed live in ISKCON Mayapur and put into high profile respected leader positions?

He is now well respected within ISKCON Internationally, giving Bhagavatam classes where ever he travels, & is currently in charge of the Westside of the Mayapur Planetarium !!! He has been accepted in this exalted position once again even though all the GBC and leaders of ISKCON well know he was abusing me & other Gurukulis and having illicit affairs with his God sisters while he was in charge of the BBT, GBC, & an initiating Guru!!!

PADA: Yes, this poor lady has taken a very long time to expose her abuse as a child. No doubt this has given her a long life of grief, anxiety, fear, embarrassment, guilt and a host of other negative emotions, as it has for other victims.   

She was asking me to help her go public with her story long ago, but then she said wait, not yet -- and all that. This went on and on. She wanted to speak up, but was obviously afraid of the repercussions from "the devotees." And rightly so! 

Many so-called members of the devotees sector have wanted to bite my head off -- since I began asking why the children have to worship deviants, in 1978. Anyone else who complains -- including victims -- can potentially get jack booted in the face. Or worse.

And that suppresses testimony from victims, and us whistle blowers, from coming forward. This poor girl knew if she speaks out, she can expect nearly NO SUPPORT from the devotee community, and maybe also LOTS OF PUSH BACK, as has happened in many other victim cases. And that is one reason there are so many victims, when the means of correcting the problem is suppressed. 

Therefore many of the victims suffer in silence, fearing that if they speak out they will become shunned, exiled pariahs, if not victims of an insult and personality attack program, or they may even get threats of violence (as has happened) and so on. This push back has happened to too many of them to serve as a warning to the rest. Don't speak up, or else!

Same dynamic in many other bogus cults. We cannot go after the top leaders because, they wield a lot of power, and have a fanatical fan base. So when the Windle Turley lawsuit was filed -- to help liberate hundreds of children from their schools -- to stop other kids from going to their schools -- to help curb the suicides -- and to get victims some cash to start their lives off -- we got tremendous push back from leaders, seniors, parents and even some of the Narayan Maharaja people said I was "picking on Tamal as a personal grudge."

And then GBC help mates Sanat and Mukunda wrote on their site that they wanted to see the gurukula victims -- killed in a bloodbath -- in Dallas. Right away some of the victims noticed, Sanat and Mukunda wanted zero punishment for the perps, leaders, seniors, enablers, sycophants etc. -- only the victims have to suffer, not the regime. Of course later HKC Jaipur guys like Prahlad began to advertise these folks as his mentors.

Same thing when we got the poison tape, the person who gave me the tape said never mention his name in public. Right away Sanat and Mukunda mentioned his name, to make him a target and suppress his testimony. 

OK all of this is called suppressing the testimony of victims, and / or witness tampering. This is quite common in MAFIA style gangster mob operations. The snitch is suppressed, or even murdered etc. So a lot of effort has been made to suppress victims by leaders, seniors, parents, and their fanatical henchmen. 

Therefore victims are reluctant to come forward. I also have friends who said their kids were treated badly, but these victim kids are now afraid -- and cannot say anything. The kids are afraid they will lose their friends and status in the Krishna community, be banished, be branded as offenders to the GBC guru etc. And some of them are doing business with other devotees and they fear losing their income and so on.

In any case, it is what it is. More victims are coming out and that is good, and it will help them have closure. At the same time, the society that caused them to be fearful to come out in the first place is part responsible for all their long time suffering. PADA is being credited by a number of victims with giving them the courage and fortitude to speak up. And we appreciate that. 

The reason we speak up is, as Trivrikrama swami says, PADA is like the junkyard dog of ISKCON. Barking at the junkyard dog will just produce a counter barking from him. Whereas these victims are in a fragile PTSD type state of shock and we just cannot expect them to run out and challenge the regime. 

A number of them call themselves "gurukula survivors." That means they know, a number of their peers -- did not survive. Anyway, now Ramesvara has ran off to be associated with the other members of the Jokernath lusty dog's messiah's club in Mayapur. He has found his home. He has run away, but he has caused a lot of suffering to a lot of people, including this child, her life has been derailed in so many ways, and he will be held to account by the higher authority eventually. You can run, but you cannot hide, from the all seeing and all knowing omnipresent karma. ys pd  

ANOTHER PRABHUPADA PERSON EMERGES

Starting with 1st ekadashi for no one but Srila Prabhupada. For the satisfaction of my Spiritual Master whose satisfaction is Krsna's satisfaction. I am praying the way I had met Him, that was more brilliant than all the supernovae combined together, may take over my heart and make me breath through His dance, of His memories, each and every moment of my existence...

"Different Kind of Life" is a memoir of a female Hare Krishna devotee who was initiated by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in Toronto, Ontario in October 1973. In this fascinating, honest and very personal account, Bhaktavasya devi dasi vividly describes her early life as a child in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, getting in trouble with the law, life as an inmate at the Andrew Mercer Reformatory for Women, getting hooked on recreational drugs, her release and marriage, and meeting the Hare Krishna people. 

She joins the Hindu cult and begins working the airports. She moves to New Vrindaban in West Virginia for a time, but has a battle of wills with the commune's leader, Kirtanananda Swami, and leaves. Eventually, after the passing of the Hare Krishna movement founder, she becomes lovers with one of the eleven men known as Zonal Acharyas who succeeded Prabhupada as leaders of the Hare Krishna movement. 

Jayatirtha, who founded a branch of the Hare Krishnas which consume LSD as the "Blessed Sacrament," tells his disciples to call her "Holy Mother." Eventually Bhaktavasya becomes hurt and disillusioned when her husband Jayatirtha runs off with another woman. Within a short time, one of Jayatirtha's former disciples attacks his "spiritual master" and severs his guru's head with a large knife. 

This story contains mature subject matter.

THE FREEDOM OF A FOOTBALL 

"The freedom of football. The football is kicked from this party and thrown to the other party. The other party kicks and it comes. The football thinks... If the football thinks that "I am in freedom movement," so what is that freedom? Kicked from this party to that party and that... 

So here the same thing is said, kāma-krodhera dāsa hañā tāra lāthi khāya. Just like the football players—the football is under the kicking method of two parties—similarly, we are under the kicking method of two things, lust and anger. We are lusty, and when our lust is not fulfilled, then we become kicked by anger. 

Two things. Just like the football is kicked by this party and that party, similarly, our position is we are being kicked sometimes by lust and sometimes by anger. So we are going on leading our life in this way. kāma-krodhera dāsa hañā tāra lāthi khāya bhramite bhramite yadi sādhu-saṅga pāya Now, in this way we are passing our life, but if by chance we get association of a saintly person... tāṅra upadeśa-mantre piśāci palāya kṛṣṇa-bhakti pāya, tabe kṛṣṇa-nikaṭa yāya If by chance we get association of a pure devotee, then by his mercy this illusion becomes over. 

Tāṅra upadeśa, by his instructions. Sādhu-saṅga means tasmād satsu sajjeta buddhimān. Therefore it is advised that everyone should seek association of saintly persons. And by saintly person's instruction, this ghost of ignorance will be removed. Tāṅra mantre. Just like you have seen ghostly haunted persons? 

In India there are so many cases. So there are chanter also. What is called, enchanter or...? Those who are, if he can make treatment a ghostly... 

Devotees: Magician? Medium? 

Prabhupāda: Not magician. 

Devotee: Medium. 

Prabhupāda: Not medium. Enchanter I think you call. 

Devotee: A sorcerer. 

Prabhupāda: A sorcerer, yes. So they chant some hymns and the ghosts go away. Similarly, if we chant this Hare Kṛṣṇa, then the ghost of māyā by which we are being kicked from this side to that side, that will be over. Tāṅra mantre. If the instruction is received from a saintly person, sādhu, then this illusion of being kicked up from this side to that side by lust and anger under the spell of this material energy will be over. 

Tāṅra upadeśa-mantre piśāci palāya. Then? What is next? Kṛṣṇa-bhakti pāya, tabe kṛṣṇa-nikaṭa yāya. Then his beginning of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is there. Kṛṣṇa consciousness begins from there. If by chance, in this way... Just like the football is being kicked. Some way or other, if he goes out of the line the kicking is stopped. 

Similarly, we also, if we get the shelter and association of a bona fide saintly person, then this business of being kicked by lust and anger is stopped by his instruction, by his advice." —Lecture, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Madhya-lila 22.11-15, New York, January 9, 1967
