PADA: Life in the dham. Yeah, it is a struggle. I believe there are both good and bad devotees there. Some are there to make a show and get some name, fame and recognition. Some are sincere. I pray that the insincere / exploiters will not exploit the sincere, but I already know of a number of examples where the sincere have got trapped in the webs of the insincere. Anyway, good luck to the sincere folks.

PRABHUPADANUGAS UNITY
JCD: We should work to unify the Prabhupadanugas in 2025, as our new years goal. Therefore you at PADA should be helping to get that done. Just my humble suggestion.
PADA: Thanks JCD. Great idea. It seems that one of the main sticking points on so-called Prabhupadanuga unity is -- how to keep children safe from exploiting and abuse. PADA has said all along -- a number of ISKCON children have been suffering in a process of being starved, beaten, even raped, and there has been a growing suicide problem. So we needed to help them, and we did. Hundreds of kids were liberated from GBC schools, and we helped get them some much needed cash, the suicides problem dropped off dramatically etc.
But then some alleged "Prabhupadanugas" began a campaign to suppress our efforts and they all began to cite the cheer leaders of the GBC's pedophile guru program as their authority. Oddly, GBC guys, other seniors, and guys like HKC Jaipur's senior man Prahlad, Krishna Kirtan etc. said I was "destroying ISKCON." Translation: many kids were no longer in their anal reconstructive surgery epidemic program -- and that would end ISKCON.
That means evidently -- they believe mass child mistreatment is -- ISKCON. And that is also evidently why so many cases were never reported, parents did not want to hurt what they thought was "ISKCON." And that is why some victims were committing suicide, they were basically neglected, denied and tossed under the bus to save "ISKCON." It was taboo to mention their problem, which simply spread the problem.
So if we are to now unite, the people who have objected to our saving children from abuse, rapes and suicides need to write a public retraction, saying they agree 1,000% with us -- child abuse, rapes and suicides needs to be checked, and PADA is right to have the pro-children policy.
Moreover, they have been wrong to cite the cheer leaders of the pedophile guru program as their authority. If they still believe the pro-pedophile guru cheer leaders folks are authorized -- and citing these cheer leaders is bona fide, we cannot unite. At the same time, 95% of the other Prabhupadanugas all already agree with PADA, child beatings, rapes and suicides must be stopped. And none of them ever cites the GBC's cheer leaders.
It is only their little break away splinter groups in UK and Germany that have been promoting the cheer leaders of the pro-pedophile guru's agenda. So they should join with the rest of us Prabhupadanugas, and make unity happen. The ball is in their court, and has been all along. At the same time I am not too worried, every Mc Donald's hamburger eating Joe on the street already agrees with PADA, child beatings, rapes and suicides has to be checked. Or you are not among the human species, and barely in the sub-humans. Duh-oh!
That is the normal moral position of any ordinary sensible human being, even the atheist humans agree with PADA -- like my atheist neighbor lady. She says -- there may -- or may not -- be a heaven and hell -- but if there is, these people will all be in that hell. And she says -- the people who oppose you are the real reason religion has a bad name, and these hypocrites are the main reason she is not a religious person. Too many awful hypocrites. True dat!
And it is rather amazing we had to spill so much ink to re-explain this over and over, when the average Joe agrees, even the atheists agree, in two seconds. These splinter off folks need to start to agree if they want unity.
But Krishna allows whatever people want. And the people who want to join the cheer leaders of a homosexual and pedophile guru process are allowed to do so. It is up to them to change their desire, we cannot do that for them. And we should also take into account -- mass child abuse is only one of many issues, we also forwarded the bogus appointment, the changed books, the poison issue, and many others. All of these issues need to be addressed / rectified, or there is not a real reform. And kicking down on us, is enabling and helping keep all these deviations in power.

PADA: Oh sheesh, leader of the pack no less, and now the main big cheese of ISKCON.

Vaiyasaki Speaks
The following are some comments by HG Vaiyasaki prabhu on the topic of B.G. 9.30.
‐--------‐--------------------------
"Regarding BVPS Sivaram Swami writes: "
For those of you who don’t think an abuser deserves care I cite the following:
"Even if one commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination?"
"Even if one commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination?"
"I didn’t write that. Krsna said it. How do we incorporate Bhagavad-gita into the way we deal with abusers? I know its not politically correct. Is BVPS strictly engaged in service? From what I hear he has had strict and extensive sadhana the last 10 years. If he is properly situated in his determination—and that’s for Mayapur management to determine—then how do we deal with considering him saintly? How can an abuser also be saintly—good GBC discussion topic. Its there in our main scripture and we can’t ignore it. At least I can’t. Nor should any devotee.
That’s all regarding BVPS". Your servant, Sivarama swami.
VD: Quoting BG 9:30 without understanding the meaning is not a very good example from a guru. Prabhupada clearly explains that this verse refers only to "accidental falldown." Prabhupada continually uses the phrase accidental falldown in the purport. On a morning walk and in a Bhagavatam class he states that if the falldown is deliberate, not accidental, that is the Greatest Offense.
"Caitanya Mahāprabhu accepted Jagāi and Mādhāi; they were very sinful. What is their sin? They're illicit sex, woman-hunter, drunkard, meat-eater—that is sinful activities according to Vedic scripture. So they became debauched and guṇḍā, disturbing element. But Caitanya Mahāprabhu delivered them. Caitanya Mahāprabhu delivered them on one condition. What is that condition?
When they fell down on the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya and Nityānanda, "Sir, we are so much sinful. Kindly deliver us"—there is a long history, incident; I will tell you some day—this Caitanya Mahāprabhu made one condition, that "I can accept you only on your promise that you shall no more commit sinful activities. What you have done, that's all right; I will excuse. But if you commit again, that will be greatest offense." SB 6.1.38
BVPS has abused children for years on end. He has committed the greatest offense because his falldowns weren't accidental, they were planned. He didn't become reformed but continued to prey upon innocent victims.
Why does Sivaram Swami not understand this?
Pedophilia is like alcoholism. It's a disease that can't be cured. The only method to be free is to have zero connection to alcohol, to have zero connection with children. But BVPS cleverly sidestepped the restrictions to save himself from further accidental falldowns. That is the proof that his falldown was not accidental, but planned. And his karma caught up with him.
Prabhpada continues in the purport [SB 6.1.38]
"So our Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, following the footsteps of Lord Caitanya, we are also following the same principles under the authority of Lord Caitanya. When we accept somebody in our Society as initiated member, we put forward these obligations, restriction, that no more illicit sex life, no more gambling, no more intoxication and no more animal food. That is necessary.
If you accept spiritual life and at the same time go on committing sinful activities, then you will never be able to progress. That is not possible. Because in the Bhagavad-gītā it is clearly said by Kṛṣṇa,
yeṣām anta-gataṁ papa
janānāṁ puṇya-karmaṇām [Bg. 7.28]
janānāṁ puṇya-karmaṇām [Bg. 7.28]
"Persons who are completely freed from all contamination of sinful activities and simply engaged in pious activities, they only are admitted in devotional service."
So yes, Sivaram Maharaja, let's follow BG 9:30, and let's follow the example given by Lord Chaitanya, for accidental falldowns. But never for planned falldowns. That is the teaching of Sri Krishna, Lord Chaitanya, and Srila Prabhupada.

NOTICE OF NEW BOOK:
SRILA PRABHUPADA- TRIUMPHANT DEPARTURE
Complete Book of Poisoning Evidence
(Volume One in the Personal Ambition series)
Paperback, 508 pg, 6”x9” with 64 ch’s, 13 appendices.
This volume is the comprehensive presentation of evidence, facts, and results of the 25 year private investigation by disciples into the homicidal poisoning of his Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It is unbiased with only a truth agenda. Included is Srila Prabhupada's own statements plus conversations with his caretakers on malicious poisoning, and forensic scientific studies and discoveries. It reviews the irrefutable proof of Srila Prabhupada's lethal heavy metals poisoning with 250 X normal cadmium and 20 X normal arsenic over at least 10 months in 1977.
Also, the whitewash coverups by ISKCON’s GBC, detailed extrapolations for those in denial, and the shastric view of Srila Prabhupada's transcendental disappearance pastimes, which magnify the glories of the exalted, amazingly tolerant pure devotee.
From mid-1976 Srila Prabhupada unexplainedly became increasingly weak and ill. Despite treatment from various Ayurvedic doctors, he mysteriously did not improve. He spoke about being poisoned. He and his caretakers discussed his homicidal poisoning at length. The next day his caretakers were tape recorded speaking about poisoning him. He had a set of 12 heavy metal poisoning symptoms which do not fit with diabetes or kidney disease.
From 1998 to 2005 seven hair tests found lethal levels of heavy metals. ISKCON has covered-up the poison issue with desperate denials, a false investigation by the suspects themselves, fraudulent testimony, repressive edicts, and character assassinations.
This is the unvarnished, unadulterated truth, facts, and evidence about Srila Prabhupada's glorious and triumphant disappearance pastimes to all his followers and admirers. Herewith is the conclusive, irrefutable evidence of his poisoning with 250 X normal cadmium levels and 23 X normal arsenic levels.
Whatever consequences follow, it is up to Lord Krishna. Scientific forensic discoveries have proven beyond doubt that Srila Prabhupada was maliciously and homicidally poisoned for at least 10 months in1977. This truth is highly relevant to all in the Hare Krishna movement and will have deep ramifications for its future. The truth always serves us well, whereas ignorance and falsehood are always detrimental.
Uninformed detractors raise various flawed objections (Ch. 58). It is not so much that people disagree with the evidence, but that they do not know what it is. They most likely never even read the 1977 “poison discussions” with Srila Prabhupada and his caretakers (Part 2, Appendix 6). If they did, there would be 99% less doubts and questions. May the truth be known and institutional obstruction eviscerated.
"A servant of Srila Prabhupada is naturally interested to hear and understand about all of Srila Prabhupada’s pastimes- his embarking on the Jaladuta, rising at 1 AM to speak his purports into the dictaphone, dancing in kirtan, leading Jaya Radha Madhava, and his disappearance pastime. Of course, each pastime of Srila Prabhupada has its distinctive flavor, and invokes diverse emotions. Truth about events surrounding Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance have been concealed, and thus we can appreciate the efforts to reveal them, if not exhaustively, at least thoroughly, comprehensively.
While there are more details to emerge, this volume provides a clear picture of what happened, through the tremendous research and efforts that were made. As we learn more and more about the events surrounding the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada, our admiration for his inconceivably transcendental character is enhanced- at least, that’s the case for me, and I trust that it will be similarly so for those who carefully study the happenings surrounding Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance.
My preference, for sure, in relation to the disappearance pastime of Srila Prabhupada, would be to simply, directly glorify Srila Prabhupada for the awe-inspiring transcendental qualities he demonstrates. As I indicated above, though, truths related to his disappearance have been deliberately concealed. Thus, to maximize the possibility that the information in this volume will be examined and received by as many people as possible, it’s necessary, or at least real helpful, to expose the deception that has been perpetrated, so that readers and potential readers are free from the influence of the knowledge filter created by ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness)." (Dhira Govinda das)
That Srila Prabhupada was maliciously poisoned and his mission was then hijacked is no longer a theory. The proven facts, science, and evidence lead to an irrefutable, irrevocable conclusion.

WHAT IS THE NATURE OF THE SOUL?
=================
WHAT IS THE NATURE OF THE SOUL?
Jayatīrtha: Philosophers generally try to use their mind to speculate about the nature of the soul. But with the mind they can never understand… Prabhupāda: Just like the madman is speculating. He is thinking, “I am president. Bas, finished.” He is lying down on the street, “Oh, I am completely independent. Why shall I go on the foot path?”
John Mize: When the soul was in the spiritual sky, it also had a mind and an intelligence like here?
Prabhupāda: Oh, yes. Yes. Unless he has got mind, how he misuses intelligence?
John Mize: But he misused that intelligence in his freedom, his independence.
Prabhupāda: Yes. Yes. Mind is there also. That is spiritual mind. Everything is spiritual. There is nothing material. Body spiritual, mind spiritual, intelligence spiritual, he is spiritual, the land spiritual, water spiritual—everything is spiritual. That is spiritual world. Here in the material world, except the spirit soul, everything is material.
And he is encumbered with this material atmosphere by twenty-seven stratas, layers. The five elements, gross elements, then ten senses, and then three guṇas… In this way there are twenty-seven layers. He is trapped within, and he has to be taken out. That is called liberation. Just like if you are covered with twenty-seven layers of dirty things, so it is very difficult position.
But there is process to clear the garbage and take the soul out. That is Kṛṣṇa conscious movement, to take the soul out of the covering of twenty-seven layers of material atmosphere. That śloka is naṣṭa-prāyeṣu abhadreṣu: “almost cleansed.” Abhadra, abhadra means dirty things. So this clearing process going on. When it is almost cleansed the man feels, "Oh good."
And that process: nityaṁ bhāgavata-sevayā [SB 1.2.18], constantly being engaged in the service of Bhāgavata, grantha-Bhāgavata and the person Bhāgavata. Then it will be cleansed. And then, when he comes out, that is brahma-bhūtaḥ prasannātmā [Bg. 18.54], “Oh, I am now free.” Na śocati na…, no more lamentation, no more greediness. Everything finished.
Then he begins his real business as part and parcel of God. That is perfection.
Bahulāśva: Prabhupāda, in the Thirteenth Chapter of Bhagavad-gītā, “Nature, Enjoyer, and Consciousness,” in verse number six and seven you mention those twenty-seven coverings: “The five great elements, false ego, intelligence, the unmanifest, the ten senses, the mind, the five sense objects, desire, hate, happiness, and distress, the aggregate, the life symptoms and convictions—all these are considered, in summary, to be the field of activities and their interaction.” And…
Prabhupāda: By the material life, these are our field of activities. The body is a combination of all these things. Just like a huge computer machine. It is made of these material things, but the mechanical parts are very minute, different. All these are matter. But within this matter, because the soul is there, therefore the finest machine is working. Just like your composition machine, (imitates machine:) “Kut, kut, kut, kut, kut, kut.”
But one has to push the button; otherwise useless. However very nicely made the machine, without a living being’s touch, it is useless. So all this big machine, body, is wonderful so long the soul is there. And as soon as the soul is out it is lump of matter, useless, not worth a penny. Throw it away. So we are giving importance to the machine, not to the person who is dealing with the machine.
This is the folly of modern civilization. We are thinking like child, “The machine is working independently.” But that is not the fact. The big airship, 747, is flying because the pilot is there, and the pilot is a soul, covered by another bodily machine. And that, that is missing point in the modern civilization, that who is working with the machine. That they do not know. That is ignorance. It is said—you see Bhagavad-gītā,
īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe ‘rjuna tiṣṭhati bhrāmayan sarva-bhūtāniyantrārūḍhāni māyayā [Bg. 18.61]
Yantra means machine. So the modern education is missing the pilot. They are simply wandering with the machine. (1975) Madhya 8.66 purport…Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura in his Anubhāṣya commentary says that this stage-devotional service mixed with speculative knowledge-is also external and not within the jurisdiction of pure devotional service as practiced in Vaikuṇṭhaloka.
As soon as there is some conception of materialistic thought-be it positive or negative-the service is not spiritual. It may be free from material contamination, but because there is mental speculation the devotional service is not pure and freed from the contamination of material life. A living entity who wants to be completely pure must be above this material conception.
The negation of material existence does not necessarily mean spiritual existence. After material existence is negated, spiritual existence-namely sac-cid-ānanda-still may not be manifest. Until one comes to the stage of actually understanding one’s eternal relationship with the Supreme Lord, he cannot enter into spiritual life. Spiritual life means becoming detached from material life and engaging in the loving service of the Lord.
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu therefore asked Rāmānanda Rāya to explain something transcendental to devotional service mixed with speculative knowledge. A pure devotee is completely surrendered to the lotus feet of the Lord, and only by his love does he conquer Kṛṣṇa, who cannot be conquered by anyone. Kṛṣṇa always stands victorious over everything. No one can conquer Him. One can attain the stage of pure devotion simply by fully surrendering.
This is next corroborated by Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (10.14.3), wherein Lord Brahmā, defeated by the potency of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, fully surrendered unto the Lord. SB 3.29.8 purport: To act under the direction of a bona fide spiritual master with a motive to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead is pure devotional service. But if one has a motive for personal sense gratification, his devotional service is manifested differently. Such a man may be violent, proud, envious and angry, and his interests are separate from the Lord’s.
One who approaches the Supreme Lord to render devotional service, but who is proud of his personality, envious of others or vengeful, is in the mode of anger. He thinks that he is the best devotee. Devotional service executed in this way is not pure; it is mixed and is of the lowest grade, tāmasaḥ. Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura advises that a Vaiṣṇava who is not of good character should be avoided.
A Vaiṣṇava is one who has taken the Supreme Personality of Godhead as the ultimate goal of life, but if one is not pure and still has motives, then he is not a Vaiṣṇava of the first order of good character. One may offer his respects to such a Vaiṣṇava because he has accepted the Supreme Lord as the ultimate goal of life, but one should not keep company with a Vaiṣṇava who is in the mode of ignorance.
M Dasi: Same thing here. Why are you disturbing the unity?
ReplyDeleteUniting with defenders of child abuse is ... not in my DNA. Never was. Never will be. Uniting with the child abusers ... then ask us ... why we cannot unite with them. WTF?
Srila Prabhupada always says this ... first become a human being. He is not kidding. Too bad ... people who are not yet human being have been taking over the Krishna religion.
We cannot unite with the hijackers ... or their helpers. Many devotees are now waking up to all the abuse. Thankfully. More are starting to ask ... how this all happened. Who made it happen. Who helped make it happen. About time! Too bad it is too late for the so many victims.
But ... better late than never. We are not disturbing the unity. We are disturbing the trouble makers ... and their helpers.
