RAVINDRA SWARUPA MELTDOWN

Dear PADA,

Recently, a devotee from Vrindavan called and said that Ravindra cannot remember anything. He lives in a closed quarter in Vrindavan waiting for death. In the late stage of the disease, called severe dementia due to Alzheimer's disease, mental functions continue to decline. 

He is at a stage where he is barely responsive. As you mentioned, he was very worried about Narayan Maharaja but he never cared about the devotees who were kicked out during the zonal acarya scam. So it seems he is suffering from Vaishnava aparadha.

PADA: Well yep. A woman told my friend that a "senior devotee" and GBC lap dog was fondling her in a lusty manner at the temple. So she raised a complaint with the GBC. And the GBC folks said in essence: -- OK he probably was fondling you. We cannot deny that happened. But he is now suffering from dementia, so we cannot give any ruling on the matter, he is unaware of what he is doing. 

In other words, the GBC are really getting dementia, or they are pretending to get dementia, as a means of escaping answering for all the crimes that have been going on. Then again Satsvarupa was writing like a demented dementia person way back in the 1980s. Just look at the whacky writings and art this guy produces. 

But we cannot do anything about it, he has mental issues. But we still sell his whacky books all over ISKCON? And Ravindra's many penned GBC papers will also stand and stay as bona fide GBC documents. So it does not look they are really trying to fix the problem seriously. ys pd   

PRABHUPADA IS EVERYONE'S GURU

PADA: Oh oh pilgrims, PADA's idea that Srila Prabhupada should be everyone's guru seems to be spreading all over the place without GBC approval. That is bad news for the GBC's molester messiahs project, and good news for us. And it is good news for these followers. 

This seems to be happening sometimes -- because of our propaganda, and sometimes it is happening spontaneously, automatically, because worshiping deviants as acharyas is just not a popular idea. 

A follower of Bhakti Caru swami has recently tried to argue with PADA that BCS was in fact preaching ritvik, and he was with us -- the Prabhupadanugas. Well yes and no. He did make some good comments about taking shelter of Srila Prabhupada. 

Unfortunately, BCS also supported that the GBC are gurus, and he was encouraging guys like Jayapataka to be a diksha guru and take sins. In other words he wanted it both ways, we are right -- and so is the GBC guru process. 

I decided not to continue debating with him because at least he has the overall idea correct. In other words, I think there is a growing number of people out there who want to believe their GBC guru was giving ritvik initiation, because they want Srila Prabhupada to be their guru. I think that is also a good development. It is starting to dovetail to our idea gradually, and / or sometimes it is taking our idea directly, as it is in these cases below. Good progress!

Diksha (Initiation) IS Baptism.

If you walked into a Christian church, and said "I'm baptized, but not to Lord Christ, but to a human being", they'd immediately kick you out. Anyone who is not initiated to HDG Srila Prabhupada has done thr EXACT SAME THING.

He has made it very clear. And for anyone who actually understands Krsna Consciousness, it's obvious.

Only a BONA FIDE Representative of God, my Beloved Lord Sri Krsna, can take us to Him. If you are "iniitated" to anyone else in ISKCON, you've made a horrible mistake and have misunderstood the whole thing.

There is ONE God, there is ONE Religion. We are actually the real Christians. We actually follow the commandments (thou shall not kill - not meat eating to start) and worship an authorized Representative of God. No, ISKCON is not "hindu" schmindu. It never was.

Actually read what HDG says about the Hindus. Actually Google what HDG says about it. Please, I beg you, come to HDG Srila Prabhupada's Lotus Feet. He is the ONLY way back to Godhead. The ONLY way.

If you want initiation (& are qualified) then only accept Prabhupada. I am not part of any temple, will not require any service from you, any donations, anything. The price is laulyam - GREED for Srila Prabhupada! THAT is the real price for my Sri Krsna.

Without real love, it is sentiment only (not just sentiment, show up and shut up- put your money where your mouth is, take initiation to Srila Prabhupada, make vows before the fire, Krsna, devotees and devas - give your life serving HIM, even though you suffer constantly - THAT is love).

But that love comes only AFTER surrender. And surrender MEANS Diksha.
Not to a bogus human. But to my Prabhupada. Its not too late. Reject those who misled you, and take shelter of HDG. Hare Krsna!

So, most certainly, my claim of initiation directly by Srila Prabhupada according to the miracle of my being brought, drawn to the Temple on that May 1st, and the utterance, internal transformation that occurred that morning, standing before Lord Jaganatha where every cell of my body and mind became pervaded and layed bare before the Lord, I became a devotee of the Lord most completely, as I already was a devotee of the Lord...Jaya Sri Krsna! January 1986: On or around this date in history 39 years ago, Tapahpunja Swami, the president of Cleveland ISKCON, flies to California and attempts to convince Yudhisthira (Jeff Cornia)--a drug addict and dealer who serves at ISKCON San Diego as the “bouncer”--to assassinate Sulochan.

Yudhisthira says he’ll do it for $5,000 by giving Sulochan a heroin overdose. Tapahpunja, a cheapskate, balks at the price and returns to Cleveland, Ohio.
Around the same time, Radhanath Swami, the most beloved and respected sannyasi at the New Vrindaban community, visits Los Angeles ISKCON. 

Some say he speaks with Ramesvara Swami, the guru for Southern California and head of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, and requests the cooperation of his Los Angeles ksatriya “enforcers” to help the New Vrindaban hit men (Janmastami and Tirtha) to hunt down and assassinate Sulochan.

Soon after, Ramesvara speaks to his security guard disciple, Krishna Katha, who carries a handgun and is known to Los Angeles ISKCON residents as the “Campus Cop,” and tells him, “K. K., if you ever see Sulochan, call New Vrindaban.”

Regarding documentation: The story about Tapahpunja comes from documents in the Swami Bhaktipada Archive. Radhanath flying to LA in January 1986 was confirmed by a telephone call from a Los Angeles devotee to me, who said he definitely saw RS at LA ISKCON in January 1986, and he suspects his visit was related to Sulochan. The story about Ramesvara and his disciple Krishna Katha appears in the 1991 Martinsburg WV Trial Transcripts. KK testified at that trial, and those are his exact words as reported by the court. This is all noted in "Killing For Krishna."

Ritvik or Guru?

आचार्यं ज्ञानसम्पन्नं वस्त्राभरणधेनुभि: ।
तोषयेद‍ृत्विजश्चैव तद्विद्ध्याराधनं हरे: ॥ ५३ ॥

ācāryaṁ jñāna-sampannaṁ
vastrābharaṇa-dhenubhiḥ
toṣayed ṛtvijaś caiva
tad viddhy ārādhanaṁ hareḥ

Synonyms
ācāryam — the spiritual master; jñāna-sampannam — very advanced in spiritual knowledge; vastra-ābharaṇa-dhenubhiḥ — with clothing, ornaments and many cows; toṣayet — should satisfy; ṛtvijaḥ — the priests recommended by the spiritual master; ca eva — as well as; tat viddhi — try to understand that; ārādhanam — worship; hareḥ — of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Translation

One should satisfy the spiritual master [ācārya], who is very learned in Vedic literature, and should satisfy his assistant priests [known as hotā, udgātā, adhvaryu and brahma]. One should please them by offering them clothing, ornaments and cows. This is the ceremony called viṣṇu-ārādhana, or worship of Lord Viṣṇu.

"It is said in the Manu-smṛti that lust cannot be satisfied by any amount of sense enjoyment, just as fire is never extinguished by a constant supply of fuel. In the material world, the center of all activities is sex, and thus this material world is called maithuṇya-āgāra, or the shackles of sex life. In the ordinary prison house, criminals are kept within bars; similarly, the criminals who are disobedient to the laws of the Lord are shackled by sex life. 

Advancement of material civilization on the basis of sense gratification means increasing the duration of the material existence of a living entity. Therefore, this lust is the symbol of ignorance by which the living entity is kept within the material world. While one enjoys sense gratification, it may be that there is some feeling of happiness, but actually that so-called feeling of happiness is the ultimate enemy of the sense enjoyer."

"One who is impotent, he wants to see others enjoying sex life. You know this? He enjoys. He cannot do it. There are many persons, he is impotent, so he brings another man to his wife, then he watches. You know this? This is going on. Sex. They will see the dog's sex life, very (indistinct), how he is enjoying. Cow's sex life. Dog is having sex, and there will be crowd. 

This is the basic principle of material life: sex. In this way, prostitution, this way, that way, that way, that way, this is the only point. There is no other aim. Yan maithunadi-grhamedhi-sukham hi tuccham [SB 7.9.45]. And this kind of happiness is most abominable. Most abominable. But that is the center of life. Is it not? Yan maithunādi-gṛhamedhi-sukhaṁ hi tuccham. 

Most abominable part of the body for passing urine, obnoxious smell, but that is the point of life. How much degraded this material life. Yan maithunādi-gṛhamedhi-sukhaṁ. The śāstra has picked up most abominable thing: that is the point of pleasure. Yan maithunādi. Maithunādi, either he himself, or for his son, for his grandson, for his great-grandson, the family. Very aristocratic.

So if we study analytically, we can understand that how much we are in illusion. This most abominable thing, we are taking it is the center of happiness."

"Now you may enjoy sex as human being, next as dog, next as monkey, next as flies, next as this, next as that. The center is sex, but you have to change according to your mental condition at the time of death in different body. That is not eternal. Bhūtvā bhūtvā pralīyate [Bg. 8.19]. You accept one type of body, enjoy sex according to that body, then you can accept another body. Sex life is there. As human being, sex life; and as a dog, there is sex life; as a fly, sex life. Fly also enjoys sex life. You have seen?"

MISTAKES WERE MADE

"Mistakes were made." Sorry, but beating a kid with a bamboo rod is not a mistake, it is a conscious act meant to inflict pain, misery, suffering, fear, grief, anxiety, and physical and psychological pain -- to a child. And the psychological pain of being mistreated badly as a child can have long lasting effects, in some cases lifetime effects. 

I am sorry that ISKCON is populated by a number of apologists -- and / or remorseless, uncontrite, unchristian, defenders of the unjustifiable and toxic behaviors. I have heard many testimonies from many ex-ISKCON kids. And on no account do I ever tell them it is their job to confront the people who caused them all this suffering. That is their choice and not mine. However, saying some or any of this has been "a mistake" is simply trying to minimize the damage artificially. 

When I was a kid -- I went flying through a car windshield and got cut up -- and I still remember it today just like it was yesterday, because traumatic events tend to do that. That memory has lasted a lifetime. Anyway, a devotee friend of mine tried to take his own life, but survived by a miracle. And he said, the whole problem in ISKCON is, everyone is in denial. 

And it even affected him although he was not a direct victim, what to speak of how it will impact direct victims. I think ISKCON as a society needs to do some soul searching seriously. And then after all this, Narayan Maharaja says -- the children are just getting their karma. Oh no, more justification for the unjustifiable. Or as one ex-child told me, ordinary people take better care of their dogs than the care we got. I agreed. Mistakes? Nope, me thinks not, these are conscious decisions made consciously by conscious human beings. They knew what they were doing. ys pd
