What type of gurus are we?

Prabhu, Generally a still-conditioned person can act as a TYPE of guru, sometimes called a shiksha guru, vartma pradarsaka guru, or simply a layman preacher and so on. In the mid-1970s, one of our best preachers in England was a devotee with a drug problem. He would make several devotees every six months and he would be totally fired up and yell at us to get up for mangala arotike etc., then he would bloop and fall back to drugs, then come back and start the cycle again, he even made ten devotees in one week end by converting a hippie house. So, he was what we would call, a person who can show the path, but he may not be situated well on the path himself. This is probably what most of us can do at the moment, show the path, while we are a bit shaky on the path itself. ys pd
