Dear Palaka dasa, here are my suggestions for Rupanuga dasa: (A) Admit that he is was one of the post-1977 ISKCON leaders who FACTUALLY "appointed" Kirtanananda as a guru, and take Srila Prabhupada "off the hook" for this grevious deviation. Srila Prabhupada did NOT appoint Kirtanananda or any other conditioned soul as a guru, rather the job of appointing conditioned souls as Lord Krishna's successor acharyas was Rupanuga et al's program. Rupanuga's incomplete statements on this issue creates the ongoing impression that the 11 had been appointed as gurus.
After asserting that these 11 are gurus, then Rupanuga and co. began to say "who can challenge the 11, they have all the power." Right, RD's party promoted, enabled and empowered the 11. And then, after their Dr. Frankenstein creation got out of control, they just left the scene and did nothing to fix their own mess. That placed the few of us trying to fix this (Rupanuga's aided and abetted) mess in extreme peril for beatings and assassinations.
Srila Prabhupada never appointed any gurus, ever. The entire GBC including Rupanuga and his ilk in effect appointed the 11 as gurus by their acquiescing and supporting the GBC's bogus "appointed guru" claim. "Gurus are not appointed" is a key instruction from Srila Prabhupada which Rupanuga has to re-assert and explain.
(B) Rupangua has to admit that their whole plan of "monitoring and controlling" their (deviated) acharyas by: GBC votes and committees; Various "guru reform" programs; Judicial oversight groups etc. -- is all bogus. In sum, their whole concocted system of: guru oversight, monitoring, suspending, censuring, removing and even -- excommunicating the acharyas is -- all a giant fraud. How did Rupanuga become the boss of the acharyas by being part of a committee to monitor the behavior of the messiahs? Is Rupanuga the boss of the acharyas? Sorry, their whole idea that the acharyas need reform, correcting, censuring, etc. ... makes the acharyas into ordinary mundane men. This has to be corrected.
None of these foolish and concocted programs are ever found in the bona fide guru parampara. The acharyas are not EVER controlled by the votes of foolish conditioned souls like Rupanuga dasa, rather the acharyas are controlled by DIRECT dictation from Lord KRISHNA. And NEVER from the bogus dictation from conditioned neophytes like Rupanuga dasa.
(C) Rupanuga said: -- "Kirtanananda is only not supposed to initiate the wives of his God brothers without their permission," that means, he can initiate anyone else. He is still the acharya for the rest of the jagat. Wrong. KS is not supposed to initiate anyone, KS is not, was not, and could not have been -- a guru. And Rupanuga also sided with KS by saying Srila Prabhupada is NOT giving diksha now, ... and Kirtanananda is giving diksha now, so that made Kirtanananda HIGHER than Srila Prabhupada. This is simply a huge insult to Srila Prabhupada, to say he is not the current diksha guru, KS is.
(D) Rupanuga says Kirtanananda is correct, Srila Prabhupada is not the current diksha guru, so --- who is? Santa Claus? Tooth Fairy? Rupanuga never explains "who or whom" is the current messiah for ISKCON? Srila Prabhupada says, despite 2,000 years has passed, Jesus is still absorbing the sins of his followers even today. So who is absorbing the sins of the current followers of Srila Prabhupada now, since we have proven Rupanuga's theory that it was idiots like Kirtanananda to be -- a complete lie. And why are we saying the thousands of new Prabhupadanugas are not getting the pure divyam jnanam which destroys sins (diksha) from Srila Prabhupada? Is Rupanuga saying all these new devotees are in illusion, because they are reading the books of Srila Prabhupada and accepting him as their guru? If they are all in illusion, depsite chanting in ecstacy, isn't Rupanuga saying what the deprogrammers were saying, the whole thing is an illusion?
Anyway, there are hundred of other questions we could ask, for example why didn't Rupanuga try to check ISKCON when they went to Sridhara Maharaja, but lets start with these basics. ys pd
