Hindus Only / Civil Disobedience / Vulture Birth / India's Women Problem 01 16 26

HINDUS ONLY

PADA: Oh oh pilgrims, some Persian (?) looking family came to the ISKCON temple and one of the temple brahmacaris challenged them:

Q: "Are you Hindus"?

A: "Nope we are not."

Q: "Don't you know this place is only for Hindus"?

The children of the family sort of looked bewildered at each other like, "what kind of welcome is this"? Some of the other guests were clearly appalled. This is the state ISKCON is coming to. A bunch of racist "sadhus by birth" bodily identified conditioned souls, posing as saintly. And they are running this ISKCON temple. Don't say we never told you it would come to this because, we told you so!

ISKCON'S HINDU CENTERED PROGRAM REQUIRES:

PURGING WESTERNERS

RD: So many of us have been banned. I was thrown out, given 30 min to pack and get out. I'm not welcome in any of my countries temples. The GBC notified all temples and instructed that nobody should assist me, those that do will also be banned. Yet all the rascals are given full respect. I feel your pain. But the way I see it, Krishna saved me from all the bad association.

RMD: Hare Krishna Mataji. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. i was kicked out of the Suva temple by Tamal Krishna. He made announcement in front of 300 devotees that i went to Narayan Maharaj. He had 4 men come to tell me to leave after his lecture while i was sitting for prasadam. i just started crying.

Everyone know he was the one who went to Narayan Maharaja and tried to get him situated as the Acharya of ISKCON after Srila Prabhupada. Then those men came back to me and said Tamal said if i renounce Narayan Maharaja i can stay. So i told them i never went to Narayan Maharaja anyway so yeah, i renounce him, and they let me stay. It is certainly very disconcerting to be banned from Srila Prabhupada's Temples. It's almost a badge of honor now as Rasika Rai das mentions. Hope you feel better soon. It appears to me that the real Temples of Sri Krishna are in the hearts of devotees who love Srila Prabhupada and have been banned. I see it over and over. Hare Krishna. ๐Ÿ™Krishna will take care of you both.

DD: Thanks for reply as you gave spoken that no person can ban a devotee from Krishna...and your story is quite believable

..Haribol

RMD: all glories to Srila Prabhupada. Mother Hladini, Aravindra prabhu's wife here in Alachua raised her hand after a class and made a comment about Srila Prabhupada's books. "Such transcendental literatures, even though irregularly composed, are heard, sung and accepted by purified men who are thoroughly honest." As soon as she came out of the Temple room she was banned from going to the Temple.

Another friend was banned for asking that some maha be given to cooks instead of it all going to big doners. Removed from service.

Another friend was being abused by a Temple money maker and she complained expecting that the offender would be told to stop, instead she was banned,

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE

AD: Today I floated a civil disobedience protest strategy.... if a member of the GBC comes to your temple and sits down to give class, and you want to publicly signal your disapproval of the GBC's mishandling of child protection matters, wait until the verse and purport is read and then just when the speaker is about to deliver their own thoughts, stand up, offer respects (perhaps while explaining your decision not to hear from someone who is morally confused about child protection) and walk out.

Imagine if this happens every class to every member of the GBC what that experience is going to be like for them, how much explaining they will have to do, the ripple throughout the room, the conversations it will promote.

If you choose to do this - and I am aware that there might be repercussions - and you feel like you want to film it, please send in your clips.

Srila Prabhupada characterised Lord Caitanya's protest against the Chand Kazi as civil disobedience. "Principles of civil disobedience involve a public, nonviolent, conscientious refusal to obey specific unjust laws or policies, aiming to change them while showing respect for the overall rule of law, often by accepting legal penalties to highlight injustice and persuade others, as exemplified by figures like Thoreau, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr.. Key elements include principled action, publicity, and a commitment to nonviolence to preserve moral authority and foster understanding, not hatred."

KRISHNA DHARMA on Vultures

Our technological progress needs a meaningful aim beyond making us idle and increasing bodily comfort and enjoyment. Our spiritual guide, Srila Prabhupada, once gave an illuminating example. In India, you see many vultures. If you stay still for long enough, especially lying down, they will soon start circling overhead. It happened to me once when I collapsed, exhausted, on the bank of the Ganges after swimming across from the other side.

Needless to say, I quickly jumped up, and the birds dispersed. I later learned that the vulture has a particular power. It can reach heights of six or seven thousand metres and scan the terrain below with amazing acuity, spotting any corpses in the vicinity, even a rabbit.

Prabhupada compared this to modern society. The vulture soars to a lofty height and exercises a remarkable ability, but for what? To locate dead bodies. In the same way, our society is soaring to great heights of progress, but ultimately, its purpose is little better than the vulture’s. We want to enhance our material experience, which is all about the physical body and mind; in truth, nothing more than a collection of lifeless elements.

PADA: Right, Srila Prabhupada says when a person glares at a Vaishnava, he has to take future birth as a vulture. I have had thousands of vulture glares from thousands of the GBC's guru folks. Unfortunately that means, their future is not bright.

Especially because, they are glaring at me to defend their worship of a homosexuals and pedophiles guru regime, double and triple times condemned. Yes, simply glaring at the Vaishnavas is very sinful all by itself, and leads to a vulture body, never mind all the orchestrated banning, beating, molesting, suing and killing them.

INDIA CULTURE VS WOMEN

AP DASI:

My earliest memory of being shamed for being educated as a girl was when I was a little over two years old and had visited my ancestral home during school holidays. I was playfully circling around the support post of our thatched roof, singing something, completely lost in fun, not realizing it was dangerous because that post was holding the entire roof.

An elderly woman who was visiting us suddenly said, “Ka bitiya yahai padhatiu sahram?”

(Translation: “Is this the education you’re getting in the city?”)

I didn’t understand why she said that at that time, but I felt a deep, confusing shame—for getting educated, for having something she and others didn’t have there.

I was the first girl in my village and entire kin to get an education and permission to work. That was the beginning. And after that, I have felt deep shame countless times—for being educated as a girl, for having a job, for being intelligent, for being aware, for having knowledge, for being capable of earning, for leaving home for work, for having the capability to take decisions, for being confident, for having moral values and ethics that weren't approved by people around me, for wanting to stand up for what is right when it was not approved by people around me, for having insight that others didn't had around me, and for not blending in and not conforming.

The criticism didn’t always come from outside. A lot of it lived inside my head—from what it meant to be a girl, and later, a woman. It took me more than 40 years to finally feel not ashamed wearing comfortable clothes like pajamas and T-shirts instead of traditional wear.

Even when I wore what I wanted before, I carried deep shame because of the beliefs I had absorbed about how a woman should live… creating a constant cognitive dissonance inside me. I never felt safe as a woman in this world, in this life, or even in my own body with those beliefs. Yet I felt ashamed for secretly not believing them, and pretending to follow them made me feel “morally right,” even though it suffocated me.

The beliefs were:

1. Women should not have equal rights as mentioned; it is “not good” for the family or society.

2. Women should dress traditionally, not according to weather or their own health needs.

3. Women should tolerate everything to keep peace.

4. Women are solely responsible for the children’s well-being.

5. Women must remain beneath men in everything for the will being and honour of family and society.

6. Women must not question wrongdoing, must not prioritise their careers, must not speak too loudly, must not outshine men, and ESPECIALLY they must not choose personal comfort over cultural expectations. ...and many more. These beliefs shaped me, restricted me, and created years of silent conflict inside me.

And yet, despite all of them, I kept moving. I kept learning. I kept growing.
And today, I can finally say—I am trying to reclaim the girl who was shamed at two years old, and the woman who carried that shame for decades.
I am trying to choose myself now.

Those who have no link to our Gaudiya guru-paramparฤ, no connection with our previous ฤcฤryas, they can never truly preach. Whatever they may claim in the name of preaching cannot be called bhakti. For many this kind of siddhฤnta-vicฤra is surely shocking, even unbearable, because the majority of people have since long time been fed with diluted versions presented in the name of pure bhakti.

If someone is only habituated to eat junk food all the time, then how he will feel if someone serves them some fresh & healthy green vegetables? He surely will hesitate to eat that healthy food, and instead follow his old habits. That is the painful situation at present—that most of the people cannot digest the absolute truth.

But for that surely we cannot stop to speak about that absolute truth. Prabhupฤda used to say that—

Prabhupada always wanted to give us warning regarding this matter. He used to say that— “Logical interpretation cannot stand in the way of that Absolute truth.” About this subject matter we must be always very alert! The question— “Why people cannot digest that absolute truth?” was put in front of Prabhupada.

His reply was like the following— “๐ˆ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ก๐š๐ ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ง (๐๐ก๐š๐ ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฏ๐š).

All those who cannot digest the absolute truth and who constantly try to find faults in guru-vaiแนฃแน‡ava are certainly on the path to hell. As long as their dirty mission of fault-finding continues, and unless they sincerely try to correct their polluted darล›ana regarding pure guru-vaiแนฃแน‡ava, it will be next to impossible for their consciousness to rise. It is our great misfortune that we never sincerely try to harmonize ourselves with guru-vaiแนฃแน‡avas in true sense. For this reason, even after receiving dฤซkแนฃฤ from an exalted vaiแนฃแน‡ava, we may remain deprived of genuine divya-jรฑฤna and true seva-bhฤva forever.

According to our Gauแธฤซya siddhฤnta-vicฤra, tแน›แน‡ฤd api bhฤva means that there should not be even any smell of lฤbha-pลซjฤ-pratiแนฃแนญhฤ inside heart. But foolish people think just the opposite — they believe that those who flatter others by licking their feet and presenting themselves sweeter as a doll made of sugar, that they are actually the true example of humility— “humbler than a blade of grass.”

ลšrฤซla Vแน›ndฤvana dฤsa แนฌhฤkura boldly declares— “I can provide a kick on the head of that foolish society even if after hearing countless glories of Nityฤnanda Prabhu, still if they are unwilling to accept Him.” Ignorant people may think that he had no tแน›แน‡ฤd api bhฤva, but the actual siddhฤnta-vicฤra is this that — ลšrฤซla Vแน›ndฤvana dฤsa แนฌhฤkura was an ocean of humility and mercy. In this way by speaking heavily, he wanted to rectify our polluted material heart, by allowing the dust particle from his own lotus feet to pour upon our heads.

THE FOUR-FOLD & APPARENTLY CONTRADICTORY ASPECTS OF KRISHNA'S PERSONALITY:

(Excerpt from Nectar of Devotion Chapter 23)

Kแน›แนฃแน‡a's personality is analyzed as dhฤซrodฤtta, dhฤซra-lalita, dhฤซra-praล›ฤnta and dhฤซroddhata. If one asks how a personality can be beheld in four quite opposing ways, the answer is that the Lord is the reservoir of all transcendental qualities and activities. Therefore, His different aspects can be analyzed according to the exhibition of His limitless variety of pastimes, and as such there is no contradiction.

A dhฤซrodฤtta is a person who is naturally very grave, gentle, forgiving, merciful, determined, humble, highly qualified, chivalrous and bodily attractive.
In this connection, the following statement given by Indra, the King of heaven, is very significant: "My dear Lord, I admit that I have committed great offenses unto You, but I cannot express my feelings of regret, being bewildered at seeing Your extraordinary chivalrous spirit, Your endeavor to protect Your devotees, Your determination, Your steadiness in lifting the great Hill of Govardhana, Your beautiful bodily features and Your astonishing characteristic of being pleased simply by accepting the prayers of Your devotees and offenders."

The above statement by the King of heaven is an exact corroboration of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a's being dhฤซrodฤtta. Many learned scholars have agreed to also accept Lord Rฤmacandra as dhฤซrodฤtta, but all of Lord Rฤmacandra's qualities are also included in the character of Lord Kแน›แนฃแน‡a.

A person is called dhฤซra-lalita if he is naturally very funny, always in full youthfulness, expert in joking, and free from all anxieties. Such a dhฤซra-lalita personality is generally found to be domesticated and very submissive to his lover. This dhฤซra-lalita trait in the personality of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a is described in ลšrฤซmad-Bhฤgavatam where Yajรฑapatnฤซ, the wife of one of the brฤhmaแน‡as who were performing sacrifices in Vแน›ndฤvana tells her friends: "One day ลšrฤซmatฤซ Rฤdhฤrฤแน‡ฤซ, accompanied by Her associates, was taking rest in Her garden, and at that time Lord ลšrฤซ Kแน›แนฃแน‡a arrived in that assembly. After sitting down, He began to narrate very impudently about His previous night's pastimes with Rฤdhฤrฤแน‡ฤซ.

While He was speaking in that way, Rฤdhฤrฤแน‡ฤซ became very embarrassed. She was feeling ashamed and was absorbed in thought, and Kแน›แนฃแน‡a took the opportunity to mark Her breasts with different kinds of tilaka. Kแน›แนฃแน‡a proved Himself to be very expert in that art." In this way Kแน›แนฃแน‡a, as dhฤซra-lalita, was enjoying His youthful proclivities in the company of the gopฤซs.

Generally, those who are expert in writing drama choose to call Cupid the ideal dhฤซra-lalita, but we can more perfectly find in the personality of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a all the characteristics of dhฤซra-lalita.

A person who is very peaceful, forbearing, considerate and obliging is called dhฤซra-praล›ฤnta. This dhฤซra-praล›ฤnta trait of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a was exhibited in His dealings with the Pฤแน‡แธavas. On account of the Pฤแน‡แธavas' faithful devotion to the Lord, He agreed to become their charioteer, their advisor, their friend, their messenger and sometimes their bodyguard.

Such is an example of the result of devotional service towards Viแนฃแน‡u. When Kแน›แนฃแน‡a was speaking to Mahฤrฤj Yudhiแนฃแนญhira about religious principles, He demonstrated Himself to be a great learned scholar, but because He accepted the position of younger cousin to Yudhiแนฃแนญhira, He was speaking in a very gentle tone which enhanced His beautiful bodily features. The movements of His eyes and the mode of His speech proved that He was very, very expert in giving moral instruction. Sometimes, Mahฤrฤj Yudhiแนฃแนญhira is also accepted by learned scholars as dhฤซra-praล›ฤnta.

A person who is very envious, proud, easily angered, restless and complacent is called dhฤซroddhata by learned scholars. Such qualities were visible in the character of Lord Kแน›แนฃแน‡a because, when He was writing a letter to Kฤlayavana, Kแน›แนฃแน‡a addressed him as a sinful frog. In His letter Kแน›แนฃแน‡a advised Kฤlayavana that he should immediately go and find some dark well for his residence, because there was a black snake named Kแน›แนฃแน‡a who was very eager to devour all such sinful frogs. Kแน›แนฃแน‡a reminded Kฤlayavana that He could turn all the universes to ashes simply by looking at them.

The above statement by Kแน›แนฃแน‡a seems apparently to be of an envious nature, but according to different pastimes, places and times this quality is accepted as a great characteristic. Kแน›แนฃแน‡a's dhฤซroddhata qualities have been accepted as great because Kแน›แนฃแน‡a uses them only to protect His devotees. In other words, even undesirable traits may also be used in the exchange of devotional service.
Sometimes Bhฤซma, the second brother of the Pฤแน‡แธavas, is also described as dhฤซroddhata.

Once, while fighting with a demon who was appearing as a deer, Kแน›แนฃแน‡a challenged him in this way: "I have come before you as a great elephant named Kแน›แนฃแน‡a. You must leave the battlefield, accepting defeat, or else there is death awaiting you." This challenging spirit of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a's is not contradictory to His sublime character because, as the Supreme Being, everything is possible in His character.
There is a nice statement in the Kลซrma Purฤแน‡a about these contradictory traits of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

It is stated there that the Supreme Person is neither very fat nor very thin; He is always transcendental to material qualities, and yet His bodily luster is blackish. His eyes are reddish, He is all-powerful, and He is equipped with all different kinds of opulences. Contradictory traits in Kแน›แนฃแน‡a's person are not at all surprising: one should not consider the characteristics of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, to be actually contradictory. One should try to understand the traits of Kแน›แนฃแน‡a from authorities and try to understand how these characteristics are employed by the supreme will of the Lord.

UKRAINE UPDATE

PADA: Oh oh pilgrims! There you have it folks. A very ancient 1908 WWI designed airplane, with a lawnmower motor, and a top speed of 75 mph, is running amok all over Russia and they cannot stop these things.

Yep, even NATO does not have such highly advanced weapons like these! Did I forget to mention, they sound like an old 1908 WWI airplane as well, you can hear them two miles away. The good news is, they first hit an oil depot, then wait for two weeks for Russia to almost complete the repairs, then they hit it again. That is making Russia lose spare repair parts.

The other good news is -- Russia has advanced one football field recently, and only lost 10,000 men to get there, and dogs were eating the bodies. Russia does not even fetch their dead, and lets the dogs have their dead. They are really making great progress there!

I also saw the videos of the Russians attacking on horses, because they ran out of motorcycles, golf carts and stolen civilian's cars. They are really getting very serious when they are finally bringing in the horse attack patrol! Yep, riding into battle on horses is even going back further, to 1708, very advanced tech here! Let's face it, Russia stepped into some major horse manure here, and they just cannot figure out how to extricate themselves from it. So they have the suffer the results in the meantime.
