PADA: Various observers inside and outside of the ISKCON child abuse issue agree, the abuse has been "industrial scale." Industrial scale abuse of children means basically one thing, or one logical conclusion, this has been a totally demoniac society. Someone told me this has been an anal reconstructive surgery epidemic process. Someone else said this has been Auschwitz for kids.
No normal society tolerates this level of abuse without taking steps to REMOVE THOSE RESPONSIBLE. In ISKCON, the exact opposite happens. the GBC leaders are given big golden seats, new laptops, private residences with servants, unlimited travel and health care expense, and they are worshiped as messiahs.
No wonder a large number of victims feel alienated, and some took their lives. The victims are getting little to none support, or they are branded as fringie outcastes, or people with bad karma, while the leaders are having their feet washed by servants etc. The levels of hypocrisy here is staggering, the victimizers are worshiped the victims are outcastes. And that explains how this became industrial level, it was enabled by many hand maidens. ys pd angel108b@yahoo.com

Why did Srila Prabhupada have his murtis placed on all vyasasans in every Iskcon temple?
Veralam South Africa ISKCON Temple Collapse Update
As of late December 2025, formal criminal charges have not yet been finalized, but authorities have declared the site an active crime scene and signaled that criminal proceedings will be pursued against those found responsible.
Who is Under Investigation?
Investigations are focused on the parties responsible for the illegal construction and the structural failures identified in preliminary reports:
The Temple Trustees / Developers:
The eThinkwini Municipality revealed that it had rejected building plan applications from the site’s trustees twice — once in 2022 and again in 2023. Construction reportedly continued in direct defiance of several court orders to cease work.
The Builder and Material Suppliers: Public Works Minister Dean Macpherson stated that authorities are working to track down the specific builder and the supplier of the concrete used, which was described as "friable" and "substandard".
Engineers and Technical Personnel:
Investigators are examining the role of anyone who provided technical oversight for the project, as the construction was deemed "unauthorized and unsupervised".
Current Legal Status
Criminal Case: The South African Police Service (SAPS) has taken over the site to lead a criminal probe into possible negligence and unlawful construction.
Statutory Investigation: The Department of Employment and Labour is conducting a parallel investigation into health and safety violations.
Investigative Team: The same specialized team that investigated the 2024 building collapse in George has been brought in to lead the forensic and structural analysis.
Public Works Minister Macpherson has emphasized that "consequence management" will be implemented, and those who flouted regulations will face the full weight of the law once the final investigative reports are concluded.
PADA: Friable concrete? -- describes something that crumbles easily, breaks apart with little pressure, or turns to powder when rubbed. This was also our initial observation -- the concrete seems to have turned into powder because it was not the proper mix of ingredients.

Having our own amateur experience with concrete ourselves, it does not work properly if there is not the proper ratio of ingredients, proper amount of water in the mix and etc. OK it was not up to concrete building standard. That is why the rebar was left bare, the concrete just turned into dust, i.e. crumbled apart.
The chain of authority that authorized all this should lead to the GBC managers. ys pd

Why did Srila Prabhupada have his murtis placed on all vyasasans in every Iskcon temple?
The vyāsāsana is the seat of Vyāsadeva and can only be occupied by one who factually represents Srila Vyāsadeva. Srila Prabhupada had his murtis placed on all vyāsāsanas in every Iskcon temple because none of his disciples were fit to occupy the seat of Vyāsadeva. If they were fit to be seated on the vyāsāsana Srila Prabhupada would not have ordered his murti to be seated on every vyāsāsana.
There would have been no need for this.
If he were planing on his disciples taking his post, becoming the next acaryas upon his physical departure he would have left these vyāsāsanas empty, being confident that his disciples were competent to occupy the seat of Vyāsadeva upon his physical disappearance.
Because they were not fit to occupy this post, Srila Prabhupada had life size murtis of his Divine Grace made and placed on every single vyasasana throughout all of iskcon. This was Srila Prabhupada's way of making sure no rascal would attempt to artificially seat themselves on the vyasasana.
Srila Prabhupada knows past present and future. He knew he had some envious overly ambitious disciples who were eager to artificially take his seat as soon as they had the opportunity to do so. Srila Prabhupada outwitted them, of course. No fool can place himself higher than Srila Prabhupada, however much they my artificially attempt to do so. It is artificial, and will not stand. Srila Prabhupada's murtis however, will be seated for all eternity on the seat of Vyāsadeva, and worshiped as good as Lord Krishna Himself. These pretenders will not last, they will / are dying off. They will be forgotten.
However, Srila Prabhupada as the proper bonafide acarya and representative of Srila Vyāsadeva and Lord Sri Krishna will remain seated on the vyāsāsana of every Iskcon temple throughout the whole world and will be worshiped by all present and future generations to come. Such is the mercy of His Divine Grace.
