LORD CHAITANYA TAKES US TO -- HELL?

PADA: OH OH PILGRIMS! A female GBC follower told PADA that yes, GBC gurus have been getting sick, falling down and dying prematurely, but that is wonderful because "we need to even go to hell to serve Lord Chaitanya." 

Wait! We need to take sins, then get sick, fall down, die prematurely, and go to hell, because that is what Lord Chaitanya wanted for His followers? Ummm nope, that is what Satan wants for his followers. Who is teaching them this rubbish? 

And if the goal of the religion is to take sins, then fall down, get sick and die prematurely, and go to hell, who is going to sign up? OK the temples are empty for a reason.

END TIMES CULT LINKED TO DISAPPEARANCE

A 40-year-old from Nashville disappeared two years ago. An ‘end times’ religious cult in California has now been linked with his death.

PADA: Of course. The prophet-ess is God speaking on earth. Fer sure. The only good news here is that I was myself not "disappeared" by the GBC cult.

PADA: As per usual lots and lots of "thoughts and prayers" will be recommended. OK wait a minute, these kids were already in Church -- praying -- when they got shot. Maybe nutty type people should not be allowed to own a big stockpile of weapons and ammo, capable of taking out a squad of soldiers? Just saying! 

When I was a kid we had a nut job neighbor who had a 50. cal elephant gun, a Thompson machine gun, many rifles -- and all kinds of guns, which he would shoot for hours sometimes. Bullet holes were found here and there all around the neighborhood. My High School neighbor girl had a bullet hole in the window of her bedroom.

Yet! No one one wanted to report the guy because -- everyone was afraid to be the person making a police report. We all feared the guy. OK he should not have been permitted to own any guns, even a BB gun, and we knew this type thing all along. But hey, it is your right to own military style weapons for -- hunting rabbits? ys pd

ISKCON' HEALTH CARE CRISIS

If we did anything GREAT in this country it would be to have better support and Health Care. Since working, I’ve met a 83 year old who was having trouble walking -- while taking care of her 86 year old sibling.

I’ve also met a severely handicapped couple who live alone and take care of themselves. How are we becoming GREAT without any plan for taking care of our people????

I would ask ISKCON this same question. How are we building more temples when we have NO facility to take care of the (now elder) people who built ISKCON with their hard work??? Surely Krsna and Srila Prabhupada would be very displeased to find their jewels not being taken care of in a proper facility. 

I pray we reprioritize the direction we are going and have more support for the people who need us the most.

ISKCON'S DOG GURU 

August 1986: On or around this date in history 39 years ago, the ISKCON-approved guru Kirtanananda Swami Bhaktipada visits the Dallas ISKCON temple, and boldly brings his German shepherd guard dog Gudakesh in with him, despite the fact that Hindus consider the dog an unclean animal and unfit to bring into a temple.

The ISKCON guru for Texas, Tamal Krishna Goswami, makes a derogatory comment about the dog Gudakesh “licking himself” (his penis) in front of the deities. Bhaktipada retorts, “It’s all right for a dog, but not for you.”

CHILD CORPORAL PUNISHMENT -- WORLDWIDE ISSUE

GPD: Same thing happened to myself and others at New Varshana gurukula.

The headmaster once took my younger brother to a willow tree and told him to choose the exact branch that he'd like to be beaten with. The willow branches were like whips and they had nodules that would puncture one's buttocks. We had raised purple stripes from the caning and they took about a week to heal.

I still don't know how these identical punishments spread to all the gurukulas around the world. It wasn't like there was a gurukula punishment manual that was circulated around ISKCON. Perhaps it was something of a hundredth monkey effect. Whatever the case, the gurukulas around the world were in a remarkable lockstep in regard to sadistic punishment.

It is possible that Jagadisha Mhj as education minister had something to do with this. He was an advocate for corporal punishment. But excepting him visiting all the gurukulas and telling the teachers to apply specific and identical punishments, the uniform bizzare abuses/punishments of ISKCON gurukulas - occurring simultaneously in very distant parts of the world - remains unexplained.

ISKCON'S HINDUS BRINGING IN DEMIGOD POOJA

Srila Prabhupada: That is the difficulty in India. As soon as we shall say, "Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Lord, Kṛṣṇa is the..., there is no more superior person than Kṛṣṇa," others will say, "No, why this gentleman is not superior than Kṛṣṇa?" That is the difficulty. They'll not accept. Their brain has been full with hodge-podge things. Therefore they cannot take Kṛṣṇa consciousness so... Of course, at heart, in India, everyone feels for Kṛṣṇa, but they have been educated in such a wrong way, they cannot accept Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme, as Kṛṣṇa says, mattaḥ parataraṁ nānyat [Bg. 7.7]. This is the difficulty.
