PADA: Dear PK. I think this is the video you were looking for. Yep, as soon as we had the GBC sued, then hundreds of kids were pulled out of GBC schools, and a number of them thanked me for saving them. Then the suicides dropped down, and a number of them thanked me for saving them from that fate. Some of them got some financial help, and a number of them thanked me too.
However, many GBC people were not happy to see Krishna's children being helped, and they and their Dayalu Nitai HKC Jaipur cheer leader types started saying that our saving children from potentially being beaten and raped is "destroying ISKCON." OK but Sulochana said: the child abuse problem is "tossing kids into a wood chipper." That is not my idea of how children should be treated, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion these days.
But yeah, it is amazing that in modern ISKCON circles, anyone who stops a program of tossing kids into a wood chipper -- is the evil and deviated party. That explains why so many kids became victims, there is sympathy for the Devil afoot. And yeah, a number of these ex-kid victims told me that, "they are hoping we will all disappear or die, they don't care about us." Well yup.

ALACHUA DEVOTEE NEEDS HELP ALERT!
Kunkamangi Dasi
Haribol. My son & I are sick. I am a single mother with no friends in the area. I am losing it & need a break. I’m living off of credit. I will give someone whatever you want to take my child away from me for a day so I can try to be okay.
This is supposed to be the largest Hare Krishna community in the country, but I am completely alone & struggling. Will someone please help me?
PADA: Yeesh, Alachua is the alleged home headquarters of all these "Devotee Karuna Care" folks. And yet we keep hearing odious reports of people not getting much -- or any -- care. Or worse, some needy devotees are neglected and seen as a sort of burden.
I know one lady who once lived there -- and she had no car. She was lucky some kindly older man went shopping for her once a week "or I would have starved to death there." She only had fresh food for a few days and then survived on boxes of Macaroni and cheese -- while various big Vyasa seats gurus get big plates of feasts daily.
She ended up in a retirement home, which she dreaded going to. But she said the retirement home people at least took better care of her. And she died in that retirement home with no "devotee association," evidently because the mundane people have a better idea how to care for her.
So this seems to be a big problem all around. Many single mothers, including children, elderly and senior devotees are living in dire conditions, and they are not getting proper care and support, at least not from the devotee community. Yeah all this big advertised Karuna Care and all that, looks to me like a way of charging people money for some bogus new age "positive thinking therapy" and all that, without any actual practical follow up -- of giving people the practical needs they have.
All that being said, is there anyone around Alachua who can assist this person? And shame on that community for already not doing that. When a community has to be shamed into taking care of its citizens, it has failed as a community already.
Some former Krishna children told me, the only people who get good welfare care in ISKCON are -- the gurus and big shots, not us.

ISKCON: SILENCING TRUTH WITH LIES AND MISINFORMATION
======
ISKCON: SILENCING TRUTH WITH LIES AND MISINFORMATION
All too much, in the larger, extended ISKCON world community (IWC), uncomfortable truths and inconvenient shards of reality that deserve curiosity, reflection, and study are met instead with ridicule and disdain. Bearers of truth and facts are not welcomed, but labelled enemies of the status quo and vested interests. Rather than eliciting sober introspection, truths and facts are derided by those who have sheltered under self-serving illusions. Thus, the leaders and gurus deflect accountability and silence dissent while disseminating misinformation and lies to the innocent.
Whistleblowers and defenders of philosophic fundamentals who pull back the curtain to reveal institutional rot or systemic abuse, once respected for their courage and honesty, are now cast as traitors or lunatics. Their revelations, no matter how meticulously documented, are dismissed before they are heard, buried under orchestrated campaigns of character assassination.
Lives of service are destroyed and reputations dismantled, just to preserve a façade of institutional infallibility. The devotee public, overwhelmed by noise and misinformation, turns away, unable or unwilling to discern truth from fabrication.
In this Orwellian descent, it is not the wise, the ethical, or the pure-hearted who rise to positions of leadership, but the demagogues, the charismatic deceivers, the architects of alternate realities.
In this Orwellian descent, it is not the wise, the ethical, or the pure-hearted who rise to positions of leadership, but the demagogues, the charismatic deceivers, the architects of alternate realities.
Public discourse is not guided by facts, but by the emotional thrill of confirmation bias, by the seduction of official institutional doctrines and narratives. Truth becomes elastic, shaped not by evidence but to preserve the presiding false guru regime, contorted to fit their personal ambition agendas, cloaked in shastric mis-quotes, the pretense of holiness, and devotional service.
Actual ISKCON history is rewritten and modified to fit current policies. Srila Prabhupada’s books are edited and “revised,” samadhis erected to fictional heroes like Tamal Krishna Goswami while the memory of real heroes are erased, such as Pradyumna and Yasodanandana das. What was once undeniable becomes debatable; what was once restricted becomes justifiable.
A fog settles over ISKCON’s collective memory, thickening with each passing day, corroding the maintenance of the way ISKCON was created by its Founder-Acharya.
This is not the plot of a dystopian novel, but a creeping reality, unfolding in the quiet erosion of philosophic principles, in the discrediting of truth-telling, in the rewriting of past events. It spreads not in the enthusiasm of Krishna consciousness, but with the whispers of apathy, “It’s always been this way,” or worse, “It doesn’t matter.”
But it does matter. The future is a mirror held up to our present choices. And in every issue, the battle for truth must be fought anew by those who refuse to look away, who speak even when it’s unpopular or dangerous, who think critically even when it’s easier not to. For without truth and the courage to face true facts, our spiritual progress descends into illusion and deviation, ending in asiddhantic false-guru cults.
Traditionally, devotee society has flourished when anchored in facts and spiritual knowledge. Truth serves not just as an abstract ideal, but as a practical and essential cornerstone of our spiritual movement, indeed, in all of civilization. In the realm of justice, truth has guided laws and legal systems, acting as the compass by which courts distinguish right from wrong, guilt from innocence. Truth enables accountability, ensuring that power is constrained by ethics and spiritual principles, and that victims are seen, heard, and vindicated.
Beyond the courtroom, truth has been the engine of human progress. Scientific discovery, medical advancement, and technological innovation all rest upon the premise that facts matter by way of observation, evidence, and honest inquiry. History, too, draws its lessons from truth. A society that hides from its past, or rewrites it to suit devious purposes, is doomed.
But truth is not only the bedrock of social justice and spiritual advancement, but it is what cultivates trust. When people are being told the truth by their leaders and each other, they are willing to cooperate and follow the Supreme Lord’ruth-tellers, once celebrated for their integrity and moral courage, are now increasingly marginalized. Rather than being elevated, their voices are discredited, attacked, or drowned in a flood of noise, of lies, misinformation, and misinterpretations born of selfish agendas. The discomfort their revelations bring is no longer seen as necessary or noble, but as inconvenient, or even offensive.
In the place of truth-tellers, charismatic ISKCON exploiters step forward, not with facts, but with glib narratives and clever inferences, tailored to perpetuate the unauthorized doctrines which accommodate ISKCON cheaters, the pretender gurus. Armed with bluff and word jugglery, they misinterpret Srila Prabhupada’s otherwise clear instructions. Show-bottle replaces substance.
Misinformation spreads, amplified by pretense, echoed by compromised, blinded followers. We can take a quick look at some of the misinformation, lies, and false propaganda that has been propagated by ISKCON’s GBCs and “gurus” since Srila Prabhupada physically departed.
(1) Denials, unaccountability, and cover-ups of systemic child abuse, physical and sexual, to protect leaders who were abusers or complicit
(2) Suppression, destruction, restriction of unwanted instructions from Srila Prabhupada
(3) Unauthorized & unnecessary revisions-edits of Srila Prabhupada’s perfect, sacred books, in many instances to alter the meaning or facilitate deviated doctrines
(4) Institutional cover-up led by ISKCON hijackers and Srila Prabhupada poison suspects, and GBC failure to properly investigate Srila Prabhupada’s now scientifically proven homicidal, lethal heavy metals poisoning
(5) The GBC endorsed a hijacking of ISKCON with the “appointment hoax”- with their carefully contrived lie that Srila Prabhupada had selected successor acharyas, which he did not do
(6) The GBC instituted a speculative, unauthorized, unprecedented system of diksha guru approvals and of initiations by conditioned souls, creating a farcical disaster in the Parampara
(7) The GBC has centralized legal and managerial controls in ISKCON far beyond what Srila Prabhupada set up or instructed, creating an ecclesiastic tyranny with defective doctrines
(8) …the list goes on, where compounding deviations are based on flawed interpretations hatched from personal ambitions rather than pure unalloyed service to the Lord’s pure devotee
The consequences of ISKCON’s shift away from truth are profound. When the devotee society no longer hears or trusts its truth-tellers, spiritual life is undermined. When decisions are made based on lies rather than facts, spiritual advancement stalls or reverses. When ISKCON communities are built on shared delusions rather than sincere search of understanding truth, trust fractures, and cooperation collapses.
The very fabric of Srila Prabhupada’s Divine Mission, woven from truth, love, trust, accountability, and transparency begins to unravel. Left unchecked, this erosion ushers in a society where perception trumps reality, where justice and truth are determined by popularity, and where knowledge is devalued in favor of institutional narratives.
But this is not an inevitability. History shows us that truth has endured even in the darkest of times because of those willing to speak it, protect it, and fight for it. The question is whether we, at this moment, are willing to do the same. Silence is complicity. Evil prevails when good men remain silent. ISKCON can be saved, rectified, restored… because devotees are generally sincere and his teachings remain available. After each dark night, the Sun rises again.

brahmanah sama-drk santo dinanam samupeksakah sravate brahma tasyapi bhinna-bhandat payo yatha
SYNONYMS
brahmanah–a brahmana; sama-drk–equipoised; santah–peaceful; dinanam–the poor; samupeksakah–grossly neglecting; sravate–diminishes; brahma–spiritual power; tasya–his; api–certainly; bhinna-bhandat–from a cracked pot; payah–water; yatha–just as.
TRANSLATION
The great sages began to think that although a brahmana is peaceful and impartial because he is equal to everyone, it is still not his duty to neglect poor humans. BY SUCH NEGLECT, A BRAHMANA’S SPIRITUAL POWER DIMINISHES, JUST AS WATER KEPT IN A CRACKED POT LEAKS OUT.
PURPORT
Brahmanas, the topmost section of human society, are mostly devotees. They are generally unaware of the happenings within the material world because they are always busy in their activities for spiritual advancement. Nonetheless, when there is a calamity in human society, they CANNOT remain impartial.
If they do not do something to relieve the distressed condition of human society, it is said that due to such neglect their spiritual knowledge DIMINISHES. Almost all the sages go to the Himalayas for their personal benefit, but Prahlada Maharaja said that he did not want liberation alone. He decided to wait until he was able to deliver all the fallen souls of the world.

So this Krsna consciousness movement is a challenge to all the rascals and fools, that’s all. SO THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN THIS MOVEMENT VERY SERIOUSLY, THEY SHOULD BE VERY SOBER AND UNDERSTAND AT LEAST YOU MUST EXPOSE ALL THESE RASCALS. THAT WILL BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED BY KRSNA.
Thank you very much. (end)

SO WHEN YOU BECOME ACTUALLY PREACHER OF GOD CONSCIOUSNESS, YOU CANNOT MAKE ANY COMPROMISE. YOU MUST CALL THE SPADE A SPADE. Just like Prahlada Maharaja. Prahlada Maharaja is one of the mahajanas. Out of the twelve mahajanas, he’s one of them. Because he was very bold. He was not afraid of his demonic father. He chastised him in so many ways. But he was never afraid. So just like our people are being persecuted in Australia. You know? They have been put into jail because they are preaching Hare Krsna. SO THIS IS NOT VERY EASY THING, EASY-GOING. MY GURU MAHARAJA, BHAKTISIDDHANTA SARASVATI GOSVAMI MAHARAJA, HE DID NOT LIKE THAT HIS DISCIPLES WOULD BE EASY-GOING, CHEAP VAISNAVA.
Note: BUT YOU HAVE TO FIGHT. THEN YOUR GURU MAHARAJA WILL BE GLORIFIED.

Prabhupada: Yes. That you have to prove. You can eulogize your Guru Maharaja, but you have to learn it and face the public and be strong to defend yourself. That is success. Not by praising your Guru Maharaja. You’ll praise your Guru Maharaja. That is not very difficult.
BUT BE VICTORIOUS TO THE OPPOSING ELEMENTS. THEN YOU WILL PRAISE YOUR GURU MAHARAJA NICELY. AT HOME, YOU CAN PRAISE YOUR GURU MAHARAJA, AND GURU MAHARAJA BE SATISFIED, “OH, MY DISCIPLES ARE PRAISING ME.” THAT IS NOT VERY…. THAT IS GOOD. RESPECTFUL. THAT IS THE QUALIFICATION. BUT YOU HAVE TO FIGHT. THEN YOUR GURU MAHARAJA WILL BE GLORIFIED.

brahmanah sama-drk santo dinanam samupeksakah sravate brahma tasyapi bhinna-bhandat payo yatha
SYNONYMS
brahmanah–a brahmana; sama-drk–equipoised; santah–peaceful; dinanam–the poor; samupeksakah–grossly neglecting; sravate–diminishes; brahma–spiritual power; tasya–his; api–certainly; bhinna-bhandat–from a cracked pot; payah–water; yatha–just as.
