JND: I have seen some followers of ISKCON Mumbai / Vrindavan/Mayapur criticizing the event of 13 Akharas giving the title of Vishwa Guru to Srila Prabhupada, because it was arranged by Madhu Pandit Das of ISKCON Bangalore, who they see as a mortal enemy. Some people will complain about anything. They belong to a cult and have to hate ISKCON Bangalore no matter what they do, even if the efforts are good.
ISKCON Bangalore succeeded in getting the 13 traditional akharas to accept Srila Prabhupada as Vishwa Guru. Its a great feat that everyone who follows Srila Prabhupada should be grateful for.
Instead some people are complaining about how many inches high the Vyasasana was and what angle of projection the flower petals were being showered at onto Srila Prabhupada. These people are ridiculous.
These people are "do nothings". They can never accomplish even a speck compared to what people like Madhu Pandit have accomplished. I am not a follower of Madhu Pandit but I can see and respect the good things he has accomplished.
People probably don't remember but years ago ISKCON (Mumbai/Vrindavan) tried to get the 13 akharas to give Srila Prabhupada the title "mahanta", which they refused to give him. They couldn't even get them to give the lowest of the titles. But now ISKCON Bangalore has convinced them to give the highest title which has not been given to any guru, even beyond the title of Jagad Guru. ISKCON members who do not appreciate this accomplishment are in the deepest depths of cult consciousness and can't see anything good in this world.

PADA: Another woman from Italy told me that Mahatma das set her up to buy an apartment in Mayapur, but it never came to her. After she lost her life savings she was living in her car in Italy. And people were pounding on her car at night causing her a lot of terror.

It's strange to read that Madhusevita Prabhu's ISKCON in Italy needs you to defend herself. You who always spoke very badly of Guru Carana das, putting him on the list of the most treacherous, and who for so many years complained because he treated you badly. Poor little fella!

You who were so good at selling HASHISH which is an illegal drug, and you did it for so many years! It's lucky you're still alive seeing the huge amount of COCAINE you and your wife smoked! Was it on those occasions that you met Madhusevita Prabhu and Guru Carana das?
It was Guru Carana who felt sorry for you and took you to the temple to take care of the garden with your wife, because you were afraid of doing just that. But you were still talking badly behind his back! You suffered because you were nobody and then it got initiated by the false guru and criminal Radanath Swami.
But where was your morals?
You who even though you know you can’t have children, did you still have sex knowing you shouldn’t? I used to live at the New Vrindaban community. I don’t remember how I got there. I don’t remember my natural parents. I heard I was about one or two when I got there. The people told me. I went to school there and lived in the girl’s ashram. Mother Kutila [Kuladri’s wife] wasn’t really a mother, but she was the closest thing I had to a mother.
During 1981-1983, Manihar was headmaster of the school. He told me he would be my father because the parents that I just had [who had] been taking care of me had abandoned me, so he adopted me. He was going to be my father.
He would take me to his house on the weekends sometimes. He molested me from 1982 to 1983. He would undress me and put me to sleep, and tell me that he loved me, and that he would never do anything to hurt me. But he would fondle and play with me all night. He touched me all over. I was about nine. He was thirty-eight. [In the interest of accuracy, actually, at the time, Manihar (1953-2009) was about 29 or 30 years old, not 38, as the girl claimed.]
Once he took me to Los Angeles. He took me to Los Angeles with him, and one night we were staying in this apartment, and the whole night he was sticking his fingers in me, and he put me on top of him. And he was rubbing my body against his. And I felt a really sharp pain, and when I woke up in the morning there was blood everywhere. It wasn’t my period. I didn’t get my first period until two years later.
[Years] later [after Manihar had left New Vrindaban] I realized that he wasn’t being my daddy, but he was molesting me. We had a substitute teacher, a devotee, come in one time, and she talked about child abuse. And at that time I had never remembered — I completely had put this whole part of my life out of my mind. And when she started to talk about it, I started to remember what happened, and I just started crying. And I ran out of the classroom, and my friends saw me. And she came out and she said to me, “Were you molested?” And I said, “Yes. I was.” And she said, “So was I.”

I bought a ticket to England, which Manihar gave me the money for once I was there, and we all sat outside MH’s humble country home and hashed out years of turmoil. Manihar visited us for several hours and then left. I felt hundreds of pounds lifted from my heart and soul after that. All the years I’d spent envisioning his long torturous death fell to the earth, disintegrating into a pile of disgust and even compassion as he was nothing more than an old, fat, sick, sad, pathetic excuse of a man rotting in a wheelchair.
I’m so happy Manihar is dead now. The world is absolutely a better place as a result. (End quote)
Author’s postscript: Manihar left New Vrindaban in 1983 and then went to work as a teacher at the Bhaktivedanta Gurukula in Vrindaban, India. Manihar left the Vrindaban gurukula (apparently within a year), defected from ISKCON, became an Indian citizen and in 1984 established the Street Kids’ Community Villages Children’s Trust (SKCV) in Bombay.
In 1994 he wrote a manual on the proper care of street children, called C.H.I.L.D. (Comprehensive Help for India’s Little Destitutes), and in 2008 he received the prestigious Annual Award from the All-India Rotary International for his outstanding services to children. His service to save homeless children won praise from around the world—from Mother Teresa and the Indian Government to former United Kingdom Prime Minister John Major, and international charities such as Water Aid.
Manihar was never prosecuted for his crimes against the New Vrindaban children (yes, he abused more than one), and today most people regard him as a savior of children, except for those very few who knew of his heinous deeds at New Vrindaban. His biography, which praises his glories, is titled “A Different Road: The Remarkable Story of Matthew Norton.” He died from an overdose of morphine. Manihar’s obituary, which also praises his glories, was published in the Messenger, a local newspaper in his hometown of Sale, Trafford, United Kingdom.

ReplyDeleteHansadutta was writing crazy things, Satsvarupa was writing even worse crazy things, Kirtanananda was doing crazy things, Jayatirtha was doing crazy things, the GBC was writing crazy things "let us reform our illicit sex gurus," but no one in the ISKCON admin could admit ... they are not gurus.
While all that is going on ... many children are getting beaten ... and worse! No one in the admin notices that problem either! WTF!
The GBC is still saying they were gurus. How could any of them be "gurus" if most of them fell ... and the rest all went along with this rubbish! Hansadutta wrote "The Hammer for Smashing Ilusion" when he was hammered on Vodka! No one noticed the problem there in the admin? The admin failed ... and they will be judged for that eventually.
My question all the time? This Dayanidhi steals money ... old ladies lost their savings ... but no one ever goes to jail! The lost money never is recovered? Where is the admin! I forgot ... there is none! No wonder these scuz buckets just do what they please in the name of devotees.
