PADA: This lady is named Gandharvika Dasi and she produced wonderful Krishna art, and she departed March 2023, evidently from cancer. Some devotees have told me devotees are getting cancer from things like heavy metals in spices, too much sugar, and so many other causes.
Well maybe, but my neighbor's grandmother lives by eating sugar coated pastries, various meats -- covered with who knows what spices, eggs, and who knows what else, and she is 93. This 93 years old lady is very pious and she worships a bona fide pure devotee named Jesus, and I believe that is partly the reason she is getting the blessing of longevity.
Whereas! I think devotees have another health issue, but like many other issues, there is a lot of denial. I believe that worshiping conditioned souls as acharyas, or being in that environment, or eating food offered to conditioned souls etc. -- can afflict one's mental and physical health.
In any case, her soul is now in Krishna's hands, and we wish her well. Her art is simply wonderful in my opinion. God speed spirit soul! ys pd
LD: It is sad ... many nice people come to ISKCON ... and then they get hijacked and diverted into so many guru scams. I think Krishna will be merciful to these nice souls, but they will need a little more time in the material world to understand ... only by worship of the pure devotee is one liberated.
ReplyDeleteThey are what I would say ... victims ... of GBC propaganda. I know a lot of these nice devotees ... who are more or less brain washed into believing they need to worship a conditioned material body to attain Krishna. The evidence is ... they need more work ... which is why so many of them are either ... falling down ... or worse dying of cancer ... and having many other troubles like lots of divorces and stuff like that.
They just posted a temple notice here that people should avoid discussing mundane politics, business and prajalpa at the Sunday feast. That means a lot of them do not have any deep realization. It is like a social club.
I believe ... if they are having all these problems, including lack of realization, and getting cancer and dying, it is because they are intertwined with the GBC's karma, and it is harming them. That means unfortunately, these nice people need to stay here to learn further lessons. But they will be ten trillion years ahead of the corrupt leaders ... who will never get any breaks from Yamaraja.
I also wish this lady good luck on her future. Krishna knows who is the gangster ... and who is the victim of the gangster, and He will do the needful.
