[PADA: Tulsi Gabbard says that people who disagree should just sit down and negotiate. Negotiate with whom?, these dictator type regimes -- like Putin's regime, or maybe the Iranian Mullah's regime? Fine, but the people living inside Russia -- ok the actual citizens who live there -- cannot "negotiate" with these Russian leaders, at all.
Indeed many people fear the FSB's secret police, which stomps jack boots on dissenters, poisons people, makes people have strange accidental deaths, arrests people -- and sends them to the gulag etc. Fine negotiators here.
Now, a lot of RUSSIAN civilian folks are trying to escape. Tulsi does not seem to comprehend, people who resist the war effort in Russia are routinely beaten up, jailed or worse. For example, one protestor was tortured badly and he had his bones broken. Other protestors are being clubbed in the head and they have fractured skulls etc.
How is Tulsi planning on sitting down and negotiating with these folks? And when is she going to do that?
Ambulances with wounded protestors are taking the wounded -- to the police station -- not the hospital. OK these victims are going to suffer, or die, without getting proper treatment. And that is the plan, make them suffer or die. And that is how any ordinary person would be treated if they were a citizen there and protesting. She is not going to do any better at "negotiating" than the people who already live there. Or what is the plan?
So lets sit down and have tea and crumpets with these guys and "negotiate" some nice happy kumbaya party. Really? And for that matter, lets see how long any group of women would last in Iran without their head scarves. They round all of these ladies up for jail. Evidently! Tulsi cannot negotiate anything with any of these people either, or she would have done so a long time ago.
It is all sentimentalism. Lets all sit down and play patty cakes and act like nice kindergarten kids, with people holding sticks, clubs, mace and assault rifles, or who are even clubbing the heads of women with nightsticks. Won't work little cricket!
Then Tulsi is upset with the broken pipeline causing environmental issues. OK true, but what about Russia's bombing chemical plants -- causing huge plumes of toxic materials? Or bombing industrial sites, oil refinery plants, electrical plants, sewer plants, schools, hospitals, dams etc. -- or their just leaving dead bodies all over the place that are being eaten by loose pets.
And then again what about very foul smelling fluids draining off the remnants of dead bodies which is leeching into the water table, poisoning the water supply? Evidently that is not a big problem? But if the oil and gas is in trouble, it is worthy of mention. The whole of Ukraine is turning into an environmental mess, it is not just this one pipeline. Anway, lets see her negotiate anything with any of these people. Not holding my breath here.
And we had the same type issue in ISKCON. Well jeepers Mr. PADA why are you not just going to the GBC meeting and sorting all this out? Negotiating! I dunno, is it the banning, beating, suing and assassinating of dissenters that causes us to avoid them? This is all sentimentalism.
When I was in Los Angeles working on the child abuse issue, all sorts of GBC folks were on the sidewalk chit chatting with their lawyers. They saw me all the time, and never once wanted to engage in a discussion.
Then the Los Angeles police warned me, these people want to kill you. OK negotiating means, there has to be two parties interested in negotiating from the get go. If that is not happening, you might have to ask, is one side comprised of psychopathic narcissists, tyrants and imperious dictator types? If so, you go negotiate with them, first, and let me know how it turns out! ys pd

LW: All hat, no cattle. She cannot dialogue with these tyrant leaders and she knows that. They blame the USA for bombing the pipe, but at the same time ... Putin could have blown up his own pipe to say NATO is attacking Russia now. An excuse to escalate. They are speculating in favor of Putin. And no pipe would have been blown up if Putin had never invaded. They forgot that.

We should support this Putin man who is placing innocent Ukraine men, women and children, and his own men -- into a meat grinder.
She is making Hare Krishna look foolish ... or diabolical.
Whose side is she on? Same time ... this is all karma ... we have to understand that as well ... these people are going to be slaughtered because that is their karma and destiny. But we as Hare Krishna ... should not be in favor of the operators of the meat grinders ... nor should we appear that way in public media.
S Dasi: Most of the people of the world think Putin is a war criminal. Looking like taking his side ... is not going to be good for the Krishna's. Even if he is not a war criminal ... almost no one will believe he is not. We will never clean up his image.

Tulsi has been spotted with Radhanath ... which is not looking good for us either. She is being used as a propaganda tool in my opinion ... for the wrong side.
JJ: People bombed. Toxic chemical plants bombed. Ukraine oil and gas bombed. Hospitals and kindergartens bombed. Old people's tea party bombed. Little kids running around ... screaming in fear due to the bombs. Not a real problem. Does not warrant any notice.

Aren't these the same people who want the USA to dig up more oil ... so they can make more pollution ... to make bigger hurricanes. Do they have any actual solution? None that I see. Making things worse.
BB: When Krishna was here at 5,000 years past ... He was bending over backwards to negotiate a settlement ... with the Kauravas ... and many other war-like Kings and Princes. However, they all attacked Krishna. Did not care for His negotiating.
ReplyDeleteEven Krishna's chariot was burnt into ashes after the war because it had absorbed too many astras. They were ALL trying to destroy Krishna ... and not listen to His negotiating. Krishna Himself cannot negotiate with these motivated and foolish leadership people ... never mind us.
To say we can settle everything by negotiating is very simple minded and sentimental. And it means ... they forgot the whole story of the Bhagavad Gita. Krishna cannot negotiate with ego maniac leaders... but we can? Not likely. And if negotiating can be done so easy .. why are they not doing that already 25 years ago? This is more side shuffle and bluff.
They cannot negotiate any settlement themselves ... nor have they spelled out exactly what their settlement would look like. JJ is right. It is not offering any actual solution. You can tell the rioting prisoners to sit down and be nice during the prison riot ... but if you expect them to actually sit down and be nice ... you are in the fanciful make believe world of fairy tale dreams.
M Dasi: Oh boy, these people are being advertised favorably all over Russian TV now. Glad these comrades are all marching in step! It looks to me -- they are in favor of these invaders and bombers of innocent people. Surely ... others see this the same way.

Very sad state of delusion. Having seen some seriously deranged Hare Krishna's delusions over the years ... I hate to say ... nothing could surprise me anymore.
Who goes to bat for a person who bombs hospitals and babies? Deluded people. Stockholm syndrome, the attacker is seen as the savior. Same thing in ISKCON, these gurus are always the good guys ... even when everything goes bad. Even when everything goes rotten. Even when everything goes to hell in a basket.
YD: Tulsi never explains the real issue, killing billions of animals every year is the real cause of modern wars. What comes around goes around. And then comes back around to kick you in the pants.
ReplyDeleteModern war is often called a slaughterhouse ... even by TV news ... they know deep down what is the root issue. There is nothing to negotiate when karma comes a knocking, you'll get knocked out.
She is misleading people into thinking ... their karma can be resolved by some negotiated settlement. That is called fake news. The house of Yamaraja is not ruled by negotiations among the prisoners. The prisoners are destined for punishing by a certain means. Meanwhile her team looks like they are Putin's puppets. How is that helping the planet?
Putin's nation and their allies are all involved in animal slaughtering ... including his big church priests. They are even bombing and shelling cows and other animals in Ukraine. Srila Prabhupada says ... the Kali yuga religion is on the animal eating platform ... and it will cause wars. That is what she should be telling people. She is trying to make a mundane solution and ... there is none.
If we violate the laws of nature ... nature will bite us back. There is no escape from the jaws of karma's reactions. For a devotee ... surely we condemn wars ... because that is also another sinful behavior. The people who are going to be punished for killing cows will be punished for killing people as well. They are just spiraling down into one bad reaction to the next. But killing cows leads to killing people ... it is all connected.
Tulsi should be educating them ... and she isn't.

Dear Suresh: Thanks for your long winded explanation, which explains nothing. Srila Prabhupada said all these modern wars are because of animal eating. You did not even mention that? OK you don't even mention the root issue. Sorry, Srila Prabhupada does. And so do I.

Yamaraja is not a liberal or otherwise. Srila Prabhupada says the soldiers in modern times all to to the lower planets because they are not fighting for religion principles. That means they are going down to lower planets and lower species. That is what Srila Prabhupada says.
You and Tulsi never seem to mention the connection to animal packing plants and people dying. She is not informing people correctly and someone just made that comment on my blog. And many Russian people themselves know this whole thing is wrong, which is why 1M already left and many more want to leave. So they are being forced to fight -- because that is the karma of eating meat.
At least I am telling people there is a connection to animal packing houses and these wars, you did not mention that at all. You and Tulsi are on the same team. Meanwhile, you offer no tangible suggestion for how you intend to fix all this. Keeping up the mass bombing of civilians is not going to fix this situation. M Dasi: Let me get this straight? Tulsi's partners want every American citizen to have a shotgun ... also maybe an anti-tank gun ... just in case America is invaded. That way, the citizens can stop the invaders from killing their families and raping their mothers etc.

I for one would have to say ... if America is invaded ... Tulsi would probably be one of the first people in line to grab a shotgun to defend herself. Everyone else has to suck it up and allow themselves to be invaded ... without weapons ... but if her place is invaded ... she wants her countrymen to be WELL armed.
The USA crazy people even get to have big guns ... and they shoot up stores etc. all the time. But I don't see how this works for other countries ... it only works for her country? They should have armed Ukraine with a lot of weapons before all this ... and not taken their nukes.
Did Tulsi forget that USA is the main party that convinced Ukraine to give up their nukes ... with a promise to defend them? I forgot ... promises are not worth a lot either. We will defend you ... you don't need weapons. Of course crazy people are allowed weapons. Anytime she wants to start making sense ... we would like to hear it.
To me? She is just going around making up stuff to get on TV and make herself famous. And she is famous. In Russia.
