[PADA: How did you guess? The ISKCON GBC "gurus" have tons of money for their (sometimes astronomical) health care expenses, travel, nice Apple laptop computers, Apple phones, private residences, servants, feasts, towncars, and who knows what else.
How about taking care of the peons when they have a life and death problem?
Oh, I forgot, the cupboard is bare. No bread crumbs left! No rations for the foot soldiers! Yet, big feasts for the elites. So this is very sinful, to exclude use of assets from the peons, not allowing the workers to be taking assistance from the assets of the ISKCON society. Anyway, now the elite's assets are being reduced, maybe from the bad karma of hogging and exploiting these assets?
In any case, this is a sad situation all round.
First of all, Anadi looks to be in trouble by going to India, maybe he should have stayed in Los Angeles and got care from the temple there. Or what? To collect SSI from a foreign land is not always smooth sailing. And to contact the USA embassy or SSI office -- and get things fixed from there -- is going to be very problematic.
Apart from that, its probably not legal to collect Social Security on an indefinite basis from a foreign place. Various devotees have supposedly done that by hanging out in India and using a phony USA address, but to our thinking that is a very risky if not illegal process, which might end up causing more trouble for themselves, or other devotees, by not being trusted by the SSI folks.
In any case, if anyone has a means of helping this poor guy and bailing him out somehow or other, that would be nice. Its also simply another bad advertising for ISKCON to the local Vrajabasi people in Vrndavana -- to see some of our people living in dire situations there -- and not getting any assistance.
One of our friends ended up dying under a tree in Vrndavana. And some kindly Vrajabasi ladies took him in to their little hut and at least fed him and gave him some little bit of care that they could -- albeit he died two days after they took him in. This is another example of how the GBC does not care for the peons, or even, for the bad impression they create by not taking care of these peons.

Anadi Krsna Prabhu is now in Vrndavana hospice. His condition, not surprisingly, is worsening. His arms and hands are becoming weaker and it’s getting harder for him to talk. Now it’s especially difficult for him because the temple is closed.
Seeing the Deities and hearing the kirtans were what nourished him and kept his spirits up. Now he’s unable to leave his room. He isn’t getting any tilaka on his body and no one to shave his beard. He is practically alone with his caregivers who bathe and feed him.
Unfortunately, for some reason Anadi isn’t receiving his Social Security two months already and he is expected to pay his bill. Now it's summer in Vrindavana and soon will be very hot, but they want to turn the AC off because it costs too much.
Without AC, his misery locked up in quarantine will only increase more and more. ALS is a mercilessly debilitating disease as it is, but it will be greatly compounded by not having comprehensive care in place.
