PADA: Well this is sad, but it is how lots of them ended up. They originally helped out the GBC, went to New Vrndavana etc. And originally these types of folks told me -- PADA is bad for ISKCON. A number of them subsequently changed their tune as they saw all the troubles the GBC was creating for everyone.
In the end, a lot of these ISKCON folks are often living alone and / or with no support -- "isolated." Meanwhile, the fat cat GBC guys live in a big house with servants, health care, doctors, nurses, $20 health juice drinks etc.
This was clearly a process of siphoning the wealth of the ISKCON society off to a small handful of elites -- while the peons ended up with little funds, maybe also alone, isolated and with basically -- nothing. And a number of gurukula students said they too were cut off from use of the resources, or positions of leadership etc., so the GBC could implement their Hindu cash cow business process.
Vishvareta is simply another victim of their process. Anyway, give him a call and tell him uncle Puranjan is trying to get some help for him in some fashion by advertising his plight. I told him a long time ago -- distributing books is fine, but unless there is a sane and moral society for them to come to, and worship of a bona fide guru and not charlatans, they won't come, even if they like your book. I think he now pretty much agrees with that assessment.
In the end -- most of our God brothers could not participate in ISKCON, what to speak of others. I think he is more or less on our side at this stage. It is pretty self evident the GBC ilk exploited the society and essentially ruined the movement, for the self aggrandizement of a few elites.
Many / most people agree these days. Anyway, he is an old trooper who just wanted to come to ISKCON to serve Krishna, and not serve a bunch of fools who thought they are the golden bodied successors to Krishna.
