And! Now we have to spend a huge sum of money to move Bhakti Charu's virus laden body to Mayapur, which will cost a lot of extra $$$ for special handling. Meanwhile, devotees who are sick and in bad health, sometimes dying, have had to start a "fund me" to get funds? There is always plenty of funds to fly their departed messiah's bodies and / or folks like Jayapataka around with a huge staff of people, but not so much for the peons?]

I know many of you personally and I ask that you forgive me for not personally writing all of you, but take this as a personal letter to each one of you.
We are a family of fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters and cousins, and aunts and uncles. The pain any one in the family feels is the pain we all feel. The concerns that any member has becomes our concern. And the love your father had for you is the same love we offer you.

Many of my godbrothers and sisters have already offered you their help, shelter and guidance in any way may you need. I would also like to make the same offer. I know Maharaja would have done this for my disciples had I departed before him, so this is the least I can do. I also know that this is what it means to be a member of ISKCON; we are all here to help one another.
After Prabhupada left, we recognized one of our biggest mistakes was that we didn’t take time to grieve. We thought we needed to jump into action to immediately push our movement forward with increased energy and enthusiasm. And although the intention was good, it was not the right thing to do at the time. We needed time to grieve; we needed time to adjust; we needed time to reflect on what this event meant and how we would live our lives now. We didn’t take enough time to do this and it created many problems for us individually and as a society.
Prabhupada’s passing was the worst day of my life. I was so affected that for a moment I wished I had never met him; that way I wouldn’t have to suffer his loss. Losing someone dear can make us crazy like this. But in our saner moments we realize that we can only be in pain because we were fortunate to have had the association of this great personality.
It took me a while to understand and experience how Prabhupada never left, that he is always present with us in his service and instructions. You will also come to gradually realize and experience this and you will experience a special closeness and sweetness that you couldn’t even experience while Maharaj was present with you. I can’t say when this will happen, but it happen.
Maharaja emphasized over and over the importance of taking shelter at the feet of Srila Prabhupada. If there was ever a time to fully embrace this instruction, it is now. You are all sheltered by Srila Prabhupada and you are still sheltered by Maharaja. And you are still living within your family of ISKCON where you can reach out to so many devotees who can help you now in these difficult times and in the future. And if I can be one of these helpers, then please reach out to me.
I pray that Krsna and Prabhupada will help you through these difficult times.

R Dasi: Really disgusting. They made me wait at the end of 1977 and not get initiated. Then they told me ... I have to take initiation from one of the 11. Right away the "initiating guru" was doing foolish things with our temple ladies.
ReplyDeleteAnd so we were always gossiping about foolish antics ... instead of talking about the pure devotee. Major diversion. They wanted us to talk about their foolish fools ... and not discuss about Krishna and His pure devotee. They wanted to take us off the path of going back home to God. These people are not devotees.
And now they are making ritviks of Bhakti Charu, but they would not make ritviks for us to have Srila Prabhupada. I would say this is madness. But no. They know ... very well ... they are diabolical evil people. They are not mad, they are evil. "Madness" is being way too kind to them.
Satsvarupa said in the Gaudiya Matha they had little seats, but we had to make big seats so we could be like Srila Prabhupada. They thought a big seat makes them another Prabhupada. Madness, or evil? I call it out as evil people.
V Dasi: What is the contradiction. He is saying that you have to take diksa from another guru and that you have to have a special relationship with that guru. But if you accepted bhakti caru s in your heart nobody will try to destroy that relationship is why they can accept it and not denied. I never heard that we must forget Srila Prabhupad even if you accept diksa from another guru and if you have a special relationship with that guru; srila Prabhupada is our Guru acarya and nobody can't take that away from you/ us. Srila Prabhupada is guru for all his iskcon.
ReplyDeleteD Dasi: The contradiction is GBC has said all along that one cannot take a spiritual master who has already left the planet. They have always said the guru has to be physically present to take a initiation and that means diksa. They have always said that
Srila Prabhupada Cannot do this even though he left different instructions… They have always said you have to choose a spiritual master physically to get diksa. Someone physically present now must give you. But now it seems JPS Is saying the aspiring disciples can do this after BCS Has physically left. Anyways this post we need to authenticate to make sure that JPS really is saying this to the aspiring disciples of BCS. if he is then he is confirming what Srila Prabhupada said to do in 1977 in the July 9 Letter which they have been denying ever since 1977 even though it's documented.
