Comments on Ukraine's Situation vs ISKCON's
PADA: Global Kirtan For Ukraine. Good idea, the problem is, ISKCON's Kirtans to save this person / that person / this country / that country / do not seem to have much potency. Or worse, their worship of deviants and pedophile messiahs program is making things worse. Chanting to protect a deviant process is going to make things get worse, and create more illusion -- for example that glorifying deviants will save the planet. No, it will curse the planet.
We are doing all we can to support the humanitarian aid efforts of The Lotus Trust team which is committed to helping the impacted people of Ukraine with food and medical supplies.
Please join in this collective prayer and donate generously when you book your ticket to help us provide essential humanitarian aid in this unimaginable war.

[PADA: Well there are going to be a lot of devotee and regular citizen refugees, if these folks can help, bravo. Akshaya Patra is also making kitchens in Poland, finally ISKCON and the ritviks are doing the same thing. Maybe that is a good sign, let us hope so. ys pd]

AP NEWS / PETER SMITH
Tue, March 22, 2022While Russia has sought to justify its assault on Ukraine with complaints about NATO's eastward expansion, it has also claimed that foreign actors have encroached on its religious turf in Ukraine — even alleging the United States helped instigate an Eastern Orthodox schism there.
Moscow Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, said both the West and a rival patriarch were “pursuing the same end” of seeking to weaken Russia and “make the brotherly peoples — Russians and Ukrainians — enemies.”
While hardly the only factor in the war, the religious grievance shouldn’t be overlooked, experts say. “You cannot call it a religious war, but it has a religious dimension,” said the Rev. Cyril Hovorun, an Orthodox priest, native of Ukraine and professor of ecclesiology, international relations and ecumenism at University College Stockholm.
Kirill made his comments in reply to a letter from the acting head of the World Council of Churches, who had called on him to “raise up your voice” and mediate with authorities to stop the war in Ukraine. Kirill replied that the war wasn’t the fault of Russian authorities. Instead, he claimed the seeds of the conflict were sown by foreign threats to its borders, both political and religious.
He cited the ecumenical patriarch of Constantinople, who in 2019 formally recognized the independence of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine — in a country where the Moscow Patriarchate claims jurisdiction. The ecumenical patriarch, based in Turkey, is considered “first among equals" among Orthodox patriarchs but, unlike a pope, doesn't have authority beyond his own territory.
In January, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused the U.S. of being "directly involved in the ongoing crisis in Orthodoxy" and of having "financed Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople so he could pursue a policy of divide, including in Ukraine."
He didn't offer evidence of such alleged manipulation, though U.S. officials spoke in support of Ukrainians' right to religious self-determination. The majority of Russians and Ukrainians are Orthodox, but the controversy goes deeper than numbers.
Patriarch Kirill is a longtime supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both have promoted the concept of a “Russian world,” forged in a millennium of shared Orthodox Christian culture in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
Ukrainians have asserted that they’re a separate people, though related to Russians. But in the run-up to the war, Putin belittled modern Ukraine as an illegitimate Soviet invention. He alleged that Ukrainian Orthodox who remained loyal to Moscow were under threat.
The Russian-world concept forms some of the backdrop to Kirill’s first major wartime sermon, on March 6. He claimed there was a “metaphysical” struggle at stake in Ukraine. He depicted it as a struggle against a foreign liberal establishment purportedly demanding countries hold gay parades as the price of admission to a world of excess consumption and freedom.
[PADA: Ummm, Ukraine is famous for -- gay parades? Therefore, let us burn the whole place to ashes? For starters, you'd have to get rid of San Francisco if you wanted to get rid of the capital city of gay parades. Which is us over here! We are the world's capital of gay parades!
Whether such claims by Russian leaders “have credibility or not in the eyes of the world is not of primary importance,” said Catherine Wanner, a Pennsylvania State University professor of history, anthropology and religious studies whose research focuses on the region. "The audience is their own people, the Russian people.”
[PADA: Yep, Russia is not worried about the opinion of others, just the people in their cult. ISKCON has the same track record, we manipulate the news for our flock. OK it works, but only to a limited extent.]
But Sam Brownback, who at the time was the U.S. State Department’s ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom, said the U.S. was supporting Ukrainian self-determination.
“We did have Ukrainian church members and Ukrainian government officials come in and say, ‘We want to establish our own ... church,’” he said in an interview. “We said, ‘That’s good by us, we believe in your own autonomy to structure as you see fit.’ But it’s a church decision, it’s not a decision made by the United States government. We don’t tell the College of Cardinals what pope to pick.”
Moreover, many Ukrainian Orthodox remained in the branch that is loyal to the Moscow Patriarchate. But that loyalty is now breaking down, with many clergy ceasing prayers for Kirill in their public worship in response to his failure to condemn the Russian invasion.
A top representative of Patriarch Bartholomew in the United States denounced Kirill's statements. “Unfortunately, calls for peace from Patriarch Kirill ring hollow when he blesses the invasion of a sovereign nation in the name of an imperialistic notion of ‘Russian World’ that is long dead,'" Archbishop Elpidophoros of Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America said in a statement.
He added that Bartholomew “granted a way forward to the Ukrainian Orthodox that was based in freedom, and we pray that when peace again reigns in their land, they will freely choose their own path forward.”

Every man is engaged in sacrificing his interests for others, either in the form of family, society, community, country or the entire human society. But perfection of such sacrifices is attained when they are performed for the sake of the Supreme Person, the Lord. Because the Lord is the proprietor of everything, because the Lord is the friend of all living creatures, and because He is the maintainer of the performer of sacrifice, as well as the supplier of the ingredients of sacrifices, it is He only and no one else who should be satisfied by all sacrifices.
The whole world is engaged in sacrificing energy for advancement of learning, social upliftment, economic development and plans for total improvement of the human condition, but no one is interested in sacrificing for the sake of the Lord, as it is advised in the Bhagavad-gītā. Therefore, there is no peace in the world. If men at all want peace in the world, they must practice sacrifice in the interest of the supreme proprietor and friend of all.

ISKCON GBC -- Knew Or Didn't?
GD: The child who was shot is my older sister. She wasn’t shot by Hansadutta but by another devotee who was cleaning a gun and it discharged and the bullet went through a wall where my sister was outside looking at a bee sting on her hand. The bullet went through her hand and her shoulder and then through the wall behind her (she was standing in between two trailers). The gun was a .357 Magnum which my dad hung on to for years afterwards.
PADA: Yep ok, cleaning a loaded gun, that is going to end well! The cow that was shot when a bullet came down into the neighbor's cow was from Hansadutta, or whom? And the guy who was arrested for the C-4 said that it was being stored by a hot stove and he had said - not do to that.
SD: The GBC members involved in the original investigation in 1993 had drastically minimized the details, to the point where Tamohara said it was almost unrecognizable from what actually happened. There were 7 people on the original 1993 sub-committee to investigate Lokanath's child molestation. That means that 20 some members on the GBC did not know about the details.
TB: PADA, I'm sorry, but I know people you lived with out here in Berkeley and they have told me that you're just straight up lying on so many of these things. Hansadutta did some bad, but he's the only one of the 11 to ask forgiveness and preach Rtvik. You took part in the Gopi Bhava club, but constantly cry about Srila Naryana Maharaj, when he is who helped you guys down there in LA with that.
[PADA: OK almost none of us even knew who Narayan Maharaja was in the 1970s. He only emerged later when he became the rasika teacher of the GBC, mainly in the 1980s. Your pal Hansadutta was also going to Sridhara Maharaja all along up to maybe 1985, and Hansadutta and Sridhara were introducing the idea that conditioned souls can become acharyas. You are confusing me with your party. The sahajiyas make artificial gurus.]
PADA: But Hansadutta was supporting the regime that was abusing children? I did not hit you, my stick did? And Hansadutta was having sex with followers, which Srila Prabhupada says is like a father having incest with his own daughter. In other words, it is a form of rape. Why are you excusing incestuous rapes could be the real question? In 1986 Hansadutta declared that Kirtanananda is the only pure devotee on the planet and everyone needs to go to New Vrndavana.
GP: #transparency is key
TB: PADA Bro, I know so many people who have known you since you joined the movement, people you have lived with. You aren't gonna get over on me. Nice goal post moving, can you discuss anything without employing logical fallacies?
[PADA: How come me, or someone else, has to stand up and be a kshatriya, but not you? When are you going to stand up and fix things? Why does everyone want to volunteer me for the job? Hee hee! Where are you standing up and fixing things, send me a video of you doing that, and we will post it.]
TB: You are just trying to get fame for yourself, using kids who were hurt, like you really cared about them. Tell me, if you did, why did you do absolutely nothing to help any? You didn't care about any of those kids, it's clear. You've always made lies. You didn't sue ISKCON yourself. So much of what you've said is a provable lie.
[PADA: OK well at least we did something. I still cannot see what you have done all along, or are doing now? And! Satya called me and wrote to me to promote and publish her story. And then she thanked me for helping her (and we posted her thank you letter on our site).
TB: Why don't you get her to come testify then?
[PADA: Oh yeah. I should depend on the parivar tradition Gaudiya lines, the people like you, that wanted me to allow all the banning, beating, molesting, suing and assassinations to take place without me calling the cops. Why would I follow anything you folks have to say on any topic? I'd be dead following this advice for starters. Without back up from the police, I'd be dead a long time ago. How does that fix things?]
I'm saying a man should handle his business himself and not run away to the cops. What did it do? Nothing... it stopped absolutely nothing. Sometimes a man has to break the secular laws to fix a problem, Srila Prabhupada said that even. I'm all for calling the cops for abuse. Once again please don't employ goal post moving. Using logical fallacies is abusive, and not a quality of a devotee...
PADA: Wait? I am supposed to allow children to be molested, without getting help from the police in my efforts to expose the molesting? Just like we helped Satya expose hers? I disagree. We should seek help, either from the police or anyone else who can assist -- to give the victims a voice, as we have done all along.
========================
Dear GBC members,
As you are discussing Lokanath's child molestation case, I wanted to share some relevant information.
"in 1995 after leaving the 4 dharm yatra padayatra team. I told a friend that I was sexually assaulted by two devotees on the team. she informed lokanath maharaj of what I'd told her and in response he bribed me 2500 rupees for silence. statting that I would damage srila prabhupads legacy's if I mentioned it to anyone. this is the first time since then I've said anything."
Would this 1990 GBC Resolution be applicable?
"h) The local GBC man (or men) are directly responsible to implement the measures outlined above. Should the GBC Body find a GBC man or other ISKCON manager responsible for suppressing or covering-up complaints of child abuse, or supporting intimidation of those who might complain, the GBC man shall be open to censure or probation, and the ISKCON manager shall be open to appropriate disciplinary action." https://gbc.iskcon.org/1990
Thank you,
SD
=====================
PADA: Mukunda Maharaja was the GBC's liaison on the phone with me and Sulochana over the New Vrndavana molesting program. Mukunda sided with Kirtanananda and in March 1986 he helped have Sulochana formally excommunicated and branded as a person "making offenses to a great Vaishnava like Kirtanananda." And Sulochana said "they painted a bull's eye on my back, they will kill me now." And a few months later, Sulochana was assassinated. I was with Sulochana a number of times on these phone calls to Mukunda Maharaja. Mukunda Maharaja also avoided my letters of complaints about the child molesting -- all along. He was getting constant letters and reports of all types of problems being sent to him all the time, and his secretary said he just tossed those complaint letters in the trash, saying "I have a career to protect." ys pd
RSD: Bloody hell! That's a horrible thing to have to read. I don't doubt anything you say. What I struggle with is these devotees have had the intimate association with Srila Prabhupad, followed the programme, chanted their rounds, eaten Prasad etc... How is it that they can't see the error of their ways? I find it dumbfounding and makes me question so much.
G Pd: Yes, really these things happened, I was there I knew these people, who knows why, may be they were under the threat of death or something, but all this bad stuff happened, all the older devotees and children know about or experianced this stuff. Its like this can you believe the local priest in your local church is doing very bad life changing things to young boys, we see this happening in the news and people going to jail for it, it happens in iskcon too, why not, it is the material world after all.
The ISKCON Guru Appointment is "A Myth." (VIDEO)
PADA: Correct. Srila Prabhupada never appointed 1, or 11, or any gurus. Nor did he say that he would appoint gurus who would later -- vote in more gurus. The people who created the false guru system in ISKCON are the GBC, and their assistants like Sridhara Maharaja, Narayana Maharaja and others.
Followers of Narayan Maharaja recently sent out this video, where Radhanath is glorifying Narayan Maharaja. Of course, the top generals in Kirtanananda's pedophile guru regime pat each other on the back. And the result of their pedophile guru process is, hundreds or even thousands of ISKCON's kids were abused if not molested. And Narayan Maharaja was hanging out with Tamal in Texas, and with Radhanath and -- really the whole gang of molester messiah's club leaders. And NM was hugging Kirtanananda. What could go wrong pilgrims?
So the GBC appointed deviants and even pedophiles as their gurus, and then their "shastra advisors" backed up their process. However, no one was ever appointed as guru from square one, so their whole house of cards collapses as soon as we dismantle the original "big lie" that 11 successors were appointed. ys pd

ISKCON's Lokanatha Swami Problem Persisting (IRM)
GBC Politics Case Study
IRM
Back To Prabhupada, Issue 70, Vol 3, 2021
In the last issue (back page), we reported that ISKCON's North American Leadership Council ("NAC") had stated that one of their "good as God" GBC voted-in diksa gurus, HH Lokanath Swami ("LOK"), had engaged in "an incident of sexual abuse of a minor that occurred in the Eastern United States in 1990" (NAC statement, 8/5/21).
We will see that the GBC's handling of this incident acts as a case study to illustrate how the GBC operates. All emphases added.
Let us close it
The above statement from the NAC added that in regards to this incident:
"the international GBC body made a good faith effort at the time to investigate and respond to this case of child sexual abuse and placed some restrictions and mandates in place over his [LOK's] activities."
These "restrictions" involved a suspension from initiating whilst this investigation, which began in 1993, was going on. By 1996, the GBC concluded that, despite such behaviour, LOK should still be allowed to continue operating as a "good as God" diksa guru, since they viewed the incident as being "accidental" rather than "sexual abuse"*. Thus, they considered that the incident had been fully and properly dealt with, and the matter was closed.
We will have to open it
The situation officially remained as just described for 25 years. However, the same 8/5/21 NAC statement admitted there had suddenly been "a great deal of recent discussion on the Internet and social media" regarding this "incident of sexual abuse of a minor". And that the GBC suddenly decided to act:
"The NAC requested that the Lokanath Swami case be turned over to the International Child Protection Office [ICPO] [...] The GBC EC has agreed and the case has been turned over to the ICPO."
The ICPO had been in existence since 1998, yet the GBC had never handed the case over to them until now. And, 4 days later, the GBC took further action by suspending LOK from initiating anywhere in the world.*
We would have kept it closed
Thus, as noted:
a) The GBC had not taken any public action regarding this incident for 25 years.
b) The GBC had not referred the case to the ICPO for 23 years.
And, hence, the action appears to have been prompted only by the recent social media campaign mentioned by the NAC statement, as the statement then also went on to describe the ICPO action being taken. It means that, had it not been for this recent social media campaign, there is no reason to presume that the GBC would ever have acted, and the matter would have remained officially closed, as it has for the last 25 years, permanently!
Let us try to close it again
However, within days of the GBC deciding to act, ISKCON's Indian Continental Committee ("ICC"), which consists of ISKCON India's leaders, issued a resolution expressing their "full support to Lokanath Swami" and demanding that "the GBC reverse their unfair decisions", one of which was opening an investigation into LOK again (ICC resolution published 14/5/21). Consequently, on 21/7/21, the GBC Executive Committee announced a capitulation:
"there is heated debate whether or not the Lokanath Swami's case should go to the Child Protection Office [...] The GBC decided that a skilled and experienced Panel must first clarify the broader issues involved [...] and then recommend what the next step will be. [...] ISKCON India leadership has also been invited to nominate two devotees for inclusion in the panel."
Thus, having just turned over the case to the ICPO after 23 years, the GBC took the case back from the ICPO following the ICC's complaint. It has instead formed a "panel" that will recommend to the GBC what should happen next, if anything, after which the GBC can still decide to reject this recommendation and take another, or no, course of action!
Not a diksa guru
a) LOK will sign any untruthful nonsense he is told to sign.
b) In asking LOK to sign the letter, the GBC however appear to believe that LOK did engage in sexual abuse, and indeed the GBC has not opposed the NAC stating this.
If BGD's allegation is not true, then it means that LOK agrees he engaged in sexual abuse of a minor. Thus, LOK is either a liar or a sexual abuser – neither of which is a qualification taught by Srila Prabhupada for being the "good as God" diksa guru LOK claims to be.
Guru hoax parallel
This affair started with the GBC deciding that LOK's behaviour still meant he was a "good as God" diksa guru. And the GBC's conduct since then, as documented above, has simply been flip-flopping based on political considerations. There is a parallel here with the GBC's flip-flopping involving the guru hoax (see the articles on pages 6-7, 13,14 and 15):
a) The GBC first claimed that the diksa gurus in ISKCON had been appointed by Srila Prabhupada (see GBC Resolution 16, 19/3/78).
b) Then, due to pressure from others who wanted to become diksa gurus, the GBC admitted that the original appointed diksa guru system was false and instead invented a voting diksa guru system, whereby anyone who got a majority vote approval could become a diksa guru (see 'An Apology', Back To Godhead #25-01, 1991, and GBC Resolution 3, 30/3/86).
Conclusion
This affair is just a reminder of how, whether it is the guru hoax or any other matter, the GBC operates based on politics rather than Srila Prabhupada's orders.

Cursed Food / Black Magic / Cancer Epidemic
She thinks, the GBC / Gaudiya Matha / Narayan Maharaja / Rupanuga types of people have been making ISKCON folks (especially the children) eat food -- first of all offered to -- and blessed by -- their pedophile gurus / messiahs club as a plan. She says, this is how witches would put evil spells on people, making them eat contaminated eatables -- offered to Satan. She said her studies show that sometimes Voodoo witches have been known to have opponents killed sometimes in minutes -- by casting dark spells and basically bringing forth the powers of evil.

Rupanuga Dasa Writes Wrongs (Update)
Fact: The GBC and Rupanuga went to the Gaudiya Matha Nabadvipa advisor in March of 1978 to seek advice and clarification about the guru issue and how it should be implemented in ISKCON.
Rupanuga dasa, in knowledge of the above-referenced clear warnings by Srila Prabhupada, did not warn and alert devotees and the leaders of ISKCON about Srila Prabhupada’s prophetic 1974 letter "do not consult with Sridhar Maharaja."
If, according to Rupanuga dasa and company, everything was so clear to them in October of 1978, as per the following conversation:
Srila Prabhupāda: This initiation. I have deputed the, my disciples. Is it clear or not?
Convenient Amnesia.
Consultation with Higher Authorities?
And who are these so-called higher authorities? And when did Srila Prabhupada ever instruct us to go consulting other higher authorities than Him for the conduct of the missionary activities of His movement?
Has anything been learned from the post 1936 and post 1977 appointment guru fiasco and the Maha-bhagavata assembly line of the GBC?
Srila Prabhupada: We haven’t got to manufacture. To manufacture ideas is troublesome. Why should we take the trouble? And as soon as you want to manufacture something to my…., that is DANGEROUS. ...That you are singing every day, “what our guru has said, that is our life and soul.” …As soon as this POISON will come-suppress guru and I become Brahman-everything FINISHED. Spiritual life is finished. Gaudiya Matha finished, …VIOLATED the orders of Guru Maharaja. …And as soon as you manufacture, fall down. This manufacturing idea is very, very dangerous in spiritual life. …Our mission is to serve bhakta visesa and live with devotees. NOT THAT YOU TAKE THE PLACE OF GURU. THAT IS NONSENSE, VERY DANGEROUS. Then everything will be spoiled. As soon as you become AMBITIOUS to TAKE THE PLACE of GURU-gurusuh nara matih. That is MATERIAL DISEASE. April 1977 Bombay, India
Srila Prabhupada explains how will questions be answered?
Every one of you must regularly read our books at least twice, in the morning and evening, and automatically all questions will be answered. (Srila Prabhupada
It is interesting to note that Rupanuga dasa did not challenge the following article when Sridhar Maharaja was exposed.
This article covers proof of the Ritvik initiation system of formality and the six accompanying articles in depth:
HAREKRSNA.COM
The Sampradaya Sun - Independent Vaisnava News - Editorials - February 2009
PADA: Rupanuga was the GBC "liaison" that Sulochana was talking to in 1986, and I was present on a number of these phone exchanges. Rupanuga ultimately took the side of Kirtanananda and he said Sulochana is committing grievous offense to an advanced devotee. Then Rupanuga helped have Sulochana excommunicated and Kirtanananda re-established as "the leader of the greatest and most advanced Krishna consciousness project on earth."
