Prabhupada's Devotees Reborn to Revive ISKCON?

Swarupa Hebel: When Srila Prabhupada left this world in 1977 ISKCON faced many challenges and there was much confusion, disenchantment and disenfranchisement among the thousands of members. Many people, like myself, left and never came back.

[PADA: A devotee asked me if its possible some of our ISKCON people were formerly 1930s Gaudiya Matha people, and they were reborn in ISKCON, in order to continue their service to Lord Gaurana's mission? Well maybe so, but if that is the case, it looks like mostly they made the same mistakes -- again!

Almost exactly the same negative events happened in the post 1936 Gaudiya Matha as in post 1977 ISKCON. In 1936, Sridhara Maharaja and his bogus cohorts endorsed a false guru, resulting in scandals and a giant purge of the mass of rank and file congregation devotees.

Gradually, dissenters were being beaten and killed. Then -- starting in the 1940s, there was gradually horrific mass media publicity and lawsuits. After a lot of the post 1936 Gaudiya Matha rank left and file fell away, their temples became empty ghost towns. Same types of things have happened in ISKCON. ALMOST EXACTLY!

Srila Prabhupada furthermore says there were problems with the fallen away post 1936 "rank and file" congregation members such as: wife swapping, intoxication, and he said a number of the former members were sitting in the tea shops reading newspapers and smoking beedis. Srila Prabhupada says -- one party deviated, one party left, both are useless.

Almost identical history repeated in post 1977 ISKCON: Self-appointed gurus fell down; Many leaders and sannyasas fell down; Many rank and file were kicked out, most of them fell down; And worse, Sridhara Maharaja -- the head architect of the false acharya's party of 1936 -- was then coronated by the ISKCON leadership as ISKCON's "senior most vaishnava on the planet" and ISKCON's "shiksha guru."

Right, the founder father of the 1936 illicit sex acharya's program needs to be consulted as our senior most "advisor." And what did he advise?; That conditioned souls need to be worshiped as acharyas, same advice he gave in 1936. And then people like Hansadutta installed huge photos of himself with Sridhara Maharaja in the foyer of the Berkeley temple, and anyone who doubted Sridhara's authority was demonized and kicked out.

Sridhara Maharaja then became the darling shiksha guru of the ISKCON gurus and ISKCON overall. For example Satsvarupa was sending out audio tapes to all of ISKCON, where the GBC were speaking with Sridhara, about how we have to keep the GBC's gurus in their posts -- even when it is self-evident they are deviating. Worship of known deviants then became the rule of law.]

Swarupa: When I left it was not with bitterness and anger but it was with a heavy heart and with the hopes that the confusion and misdirection would soon end and the society would be back on track. Srila Prabhupada left us everything we need to carry on so to do right was simply a matter of loyalty, dedication, maturity and faithfully following his instructions.

[PADA: Unfortunately people like Swarupa Hebel and others never really explain: what was the factual cause of "the confusion"? Nor does he ever explain what it means to be loyal to the instructions? Loyal to what instructions? Sridhara Maharaja says we need to give guru seats to conditioned souls, offer bhogha to conditioned souls, and so on, and that is "the instruction"?

When were we instructed to worship 11 conditioned souls as our acharyas? Sorry, that "instruction" came from the bogus ISKCON leaders and their bogus shiksha gurus like Sridhara Maharaja, Narayana Maharaja and others, and not from Srila Prabhupada. A follower of Narayana Maharaja admits, NM was telling people to take initiation from ISKCON (the 11 gurus).

And then not only the bogus leaders but folks like Swarupa Hebel and his pals like Sruta Srava began to endorse Sridhara Maharaja, the founder father of the illicit sex and criminally debauched guru program of 1936, and main cheer leader of the same bogus guru's program after 1977 in ISKCON. That was called by one of my God brothers -- the Sridhara Maharaja process of placing "petrol on the fire"? So if these guys take birth again, why would they be saved from promoting this same deviation again? Did they learn that this was bogus in this lifetime? Apparently, no.

And then Hansadutta, Jayatirtha, Tripurari swami, Jagat guru swami, Dheera Krishna swami, Panchadravida -- and many others -- they all ran off and said we need to surrender to Sridhara Maharaja, founder father of the worship of illicit sex acharyas. And they simply enticed gullible people like Swarupa Hebel and Sruta Srava to join that process. These are the main people who caused all the confusion, they thought they could replace the worship of the acharya with the worship of deviants, fools, drug addicts, sexual predators and criminals. Most of them have still not learned that this was the wrong idea?

However! The cause of all the confusion was very clear right at the outset in 1978, Srila Prabhupada's worship was being: replaced, displaced, discouraged, changed, altered, removed, minimized and made unrecognizable from the pre-1978 state.

Now we had 11 "new gurus" with their "11 new vyasa seats"; and ISKCON was offering the society's bhogha to the 11, and offering all the new disciples to the 11, and offering the assets and everything else to these 11. Yet there was never any evidence that the 11 had been appointed as the successors?

So it was not really that confusing, right away in 1978 we asked for evidence of this alleged appointment of 11 acharyas, we were not given any evidence, because there was none. The "confusion" was that many people bought into "the big lie" that there had been a guru appointment.

Again! And some of the worst promoters of this bogus guru appointment were folks like Sridhara Maharaja, Narayana Maharaja and others, they kept saying these 11 are the appointed diksha gurus. Yet they never seem to have asked for any evidence that these 11 had been appointed as diksha gurus and acharyas either? Even BV Puri was told, they are not gurus, but at the end of that same conversation, he went backwards and started talking about how these GBC's are "gurus." He did not get it either.

So, the ISKCON leaders simply usurped the post of guru, that is all that happened, and many hapless devotees helped them promote that deviation, or they acquiesced by simply leaving and allowing the pirates to take over the ship.]

I sometimes think how amazing it would be if all the thousands of people who served in ISKCON from 1966 to 1977 while Srila Prabhupada was present would once again come together as a spiritual family -- everyone reunited in a spirit of love and trust. In cooperation and conjunction with all the thousands of others who have taken to Krishna consciousness in the last four decades there's no limit to what could be accomplished.

I got to thinking recently that this very phenomenon can and will happen. One may say that time is running out. But I am trying to see the bigger picture. I mean to say ... that many of us will be coming back to continue and hopefully finish our business in our next life.

That's just the reality -- although it would be nice to think that everyone will be heading back to the spiritual sky after this life is done. Okay -- so figure that in the next ten or twenty years the majority of us will be going, going gone and taking birth in new bodies -- having another go at it (once more, with feeling).

And then add another fifteen or twenty years for growing into adulthood in the next life. And then my friends, there's gonna be some fireworks going off. So stay tuned for the upcoming reunion and renaissance. We'll all be getting together and getting it together for the big encore. And when those saints go marching in you know I want to be in that number ... when those devotees in fresh new bodies go marching down the streets of every town and village chanting Hare Krishna. All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

PADA: Even if ISKCON devotees come back again and take birth in and around ISKCON in the future, it will not help if they never figured out the problem in the first place, that they allowed the worship of their acharya to be hi-jacked by rascals? First of all we have to understand the problem, whether this life or another life.

We cannot allow the worship of our acharya to slip downwards, and turn into the worship of speculators, neophytes, falling down people, sexual predators, debauchees, sahajiyas and criminals. Unless we understand this principle, simply taking another birth in future is not going to fix things. Taking another birth does not result in automatic realization.

Nor did the Gaudiya Matha people take rebirth to re-start their mission back, it has floundered for the most part and not revived. Has the Gaudiya Matha revived back to the principle of worship of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta, under a GBC? Nope, even if they took rebirth in India, they did not come forward to fix this mess.

To sum, the Gaudiya Matha people tried to make conditioned souls into acharyas, its the premature guru disease. Srila Prabhupada said about them -- one of their bogus gurus falls, then another one comes to take the place of the fallen one -- the he falls, then another -- and another, and in some camps their gurus do not even last for a year before they fall. And in this way, they killed their guru to become guru. And Sridhara was the architect of the same guru rubber stamp in ISKCON, he said they need to vote in more gurus, and they did. Guru voting is simply another deviation.

All this is simple ordinary common sense? (A) Yes, you can tell kindergarten children that someday they might BECOME police men. (B) Then you cannot give these same kindergarten children loaded police guns, a police badge, a pair of police handcuffs, and tell them to start busting down criminal's doors and arresting and shooting at people because they are ALREADY policemen.

This will result in people getting killed, including the children. These Gaudiya Matha types seem to have no idea that they cannot give loaded guns to children and tell them they are ALREADY the police. In other words, any ordinary person walking on the street has a better idea of common sense than they do. So, a person who lacks basic sense is considered as in the modes of ignorance, he cannot discriminate what is to be done and what is not, as is described in the Gita.

Srila Prabhupada...."Similarly any transcendental message, any Vedic literature, unless it is presented by a self realized devotee, it is poison. You simply misunderstand the whole thing, and you do not get the benefit. Rather, you become a victim of misunderstanding."

Srila Prabhupada's Lecture on : Bhagavad-gita 4.1-2 -- Columbus, May 9, 1969 (ys pd)

[PADA: Of course all these people are famous for saying, there is no letter from Srila Prabhupada where he says his worship should continue? So, unless Jesus writes a letter to his followers ordering them to worship him, they should stop worshiping him? Why would Jesus have to write a letter to his followers ordering his worship, or his worship should be stopped?

So this is another nonsense idea, we need to have a specific order from the acharya -- in order to worship the acharya. The Christians worship their guru because they love their guru, no letter is needed. We should need no such letter ourselves. Anyway, if they did not understand that we need to worship the pure devotee in this lifetime, simply taking birth again will not automatically give them the realizations they lacked in this lifetime. Basically this is another cop out, we ruined ISKCON in this life, we will come back and fix it. Post dated check. ys pd]

New York Subway Kirtana

PADA: What happened to the Harinama Samkirtana movement? Well at least there are a few troopers out there doing the yuga dharma here and there. As one devotee said recently, he rarely sees the big GBC leaders out there leading these public kirtanas, its almost always the little peons. ys pd

Sanaka Rsi Replies Bhakti Vikas Swami

Child Abuse – Definitions and Subjectivity

BY: H.H. BHAKTI VIKASA SWAMI

May 07, 2017 — Salem INDIA

What exactly does "child abuse" mean? ... Much further to be said. More to follow, gradually.

[PADA: The (Windle Turley) law firm said that GBC's gurukula victims are  -- the worst cases of child neglect and abuse ever seen by our law firm in 40 years of looking at such cases. There is no excuse for these levels of abuse. Of course, then many GBC people complained that Windle Turley is a demon, wow, so they even admit "the demons" had to save their own children from their own hands, and their own program?

The demon society has to save your society's children from your hands, and you are begrudging that because -- you wanted the problem to continue indefinitely, self - evidently?

And many leaders who orchestrated the abuses program in the past, like Jayapataka's regime, are still in charge of Mayapura. And BVKS GBC program buried Kirtanananda's corpse in a samadhi, which has disgusted a number of ex-victims.

Meanwhile Bhakti Vikas swami forgets to even mention that the main problem might not even be the physical abuse, as bad as that is, but the psychological abuse. To teach small children that God's messiah successors are often: Engaged in intoxication, illicit sex, crimes, sexual predatory activity, supporting violent school programs, under funding schools while living like Saudi princes, and so many other deviations, is teaching children that God is a deviant because His successors are.

Is this not Bhakti Vikas swami's program "corrupting the morals of minors"? What kind of religion teaches little children that God's successors are often debauchees, deviants, sexual predators and criminals? Just asking! And when is BVKS going to answer this point? Or is he ever going to in this lifetime? And what about some ex-kulis who complain that the GBC / BVKS program is a Satanic program meant to corrupt children? ys pd

Bhakti Vikasa Maharaj, Why Do You Quote
Out of Context?

BY: SANAKA RSI DAS

Maharaj, thank you for taking the time to clarify your position on the use of corporal punishment.

You have gone digging for the handful of quotes where Srila Prabhupada sanctioned the use of corporal punishment, but you disregard the context. In the course of this exchange I have pointed this out before. You have not addressed the concerns raised and you continue doing it… which leads me to wonder: what is your objective? Are you trying to establish what is the essence of Srila Prabhupada's position on corporal punishment or are you more concerned with "appearing to be right in the eyes of the public" at any cost?

There are good reasons why these quotes are not cited when discussing child protection in ISKCON. Your use of these quotes to claim that somehow Srila Prabhupada endorsed corporal punishment for children is akin to someone quoting the instance where it is said that Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati requested that his disciples serve meat to the visiting British Governor, to somehow make a case that Srila Bhaktisiddhanta encouraged meat-eating. Well, yes, it is absurd.

After no doubt much research, you have provided 8 quotes you believe support your claim that Srila Prabhupada was at least sometimes in favour of using corporal punishment.

A brief glance at the quotes you have provided will quickly reveal that only 4 of these quotes actually speak of hitting a child. The rest use the words "force" and "chastisement". On occasions Prabhupada used these words to mean beating, but often he didn't. One of the quotes you presented says: "Either your son or disciple, you should always chastise them". I trust that you do not beat your disciples when you feel they need to be chastised.

Of the 4 quotes where he actually speaks of hitting a child, three are anecdotal, meaning that they are not direct instructions to use corporal punishment on children, but rather Prabhupada is simply stating that sometimes to correct a child we slap/hit them with a shoe. You have lived in India long enough to be familiar with the frequently figurative meaning Indians attribute to the expression, "beating someone with a shoe". One of these quotes refers to a father hitting his son, which again is a very different scenario then your proposal to use corporal punishment by teachers.

After scouring the Vedabase you have come up with only one instance where Srila Prabhupada gave a direct instruction to hit a child; and perhaps if you invest a significant amount of time you may find one or two more… But again you quote out of context. You left out some vital information about the exchange that took place. I encourage anyone interested in the matter to read the complete conversation here.

It is disingenuous at best to try and use these quotes to somehow peddle the notion that Srila Prabhupada endorsed the use of corporal punishment on children. You found one instance where Srila Prabhupada reluctantly consented to the repeated requests of Jagadisa; and you conveniently overlook the fact that the anecdote you quote happens to be directly opposed to the overwhelming amount of direct instructions Srila Prabhupada gave us to never hit children.

Anyone who will study the entire body of Srila Prabhupada's teachings on corporal punishment, with some degree of honesty, will necessarily conclude that Srila Prabhupada was strongly against it. One of the reasons these quotes are not brought into the discussion when talking about education is because they are not representative of his overall stance on the issue.

In my research, I have found that the following statement written by Srila Prabhupada gives an accurate rendition of his position on the matter:

"Now the thing is, children should not be beaten at all, that I have told. They should simply be shown the stick strongly. So if one cannot manage in that way then he is not fit as teacher. (Letter to Bhanutanya, 18 November 1972)

But let's go back to the conversation you quote. It is indeed true that Srila Prabhupada sanctioned the use of corporal punishment in that instance. However, you omitted to mention that during the course of that very conversation Jagadisa das and the others present pressured Srila Prabhupada to give his consent to beat the child, several times; and that before conceding Srila Prabhupada gave four alternative possibilities, which were disregarded, both by the disciples present during the conversation, and it seems, by yourself as well.

Given the volume of quotes wherein Srila Prabhupada emphatically forbids the use of corporal punishment, I will say that, in my limited estimation, you have made a very weak case to support your position.

Maharaj, in your writings you seem to be oblivious to ISKCON's history on the use of corporal punishment. Truth is that the quotes you dug up wherein Srila Prabhupada sanctioned the use of corporal punishment has been abused beyond the imaginable. Your continued endorsement of this practice is disrespectful to the suffering that hundreds of children endured precisely due to this very mind-set.

If 50 years of ISKCON's history is anything to go by, then we have learnt that the outcome of those few instances when Srila Prabhupada sanctioned the use of corporal punishment have resulted in a social disaster that scared generations of devotees. This is the other reason why you don't hear these quotes when devotees discuss education. So, yes, it is safe to say that in ISKCON's case, the endorsement of any form of corporal punishment has equated to the endorsement of child abuse. I strongly encourage you to meditate on the far reaching repercussions of your current position.

Often I hear devotees make the argument that they received a lot of beatings as children and that they have come out fine, hence we ought to encourage the use of corporal punishment, or at least tolerate it for it's not a big deal.

Needless to say that I am highly sceptical of this reasoning. I find this stance to be lacking in compassion. I know someone who had his arm broken when he was 9 years old, by his gurukula teacher, during a "disciplinary kicking session". Despite the fact that he survived and he is now a reasonably functional individual, this is hardly a desirable ideal to aspire towards.

You may argue that this is an extreme example and that you are not promoting such brutal punishments. The problem is that often teachers have unsupervised access to children; when you sanction the use of corporal you must also be willing to take responsibility for the teachers that will abuse it... and history tells us that there will be teachers that abuse it. The fact that many abused individuals survive and thrive goes to their credit, but it must not be used to continue beating children, for then you also need to consider the individuals who have taken their lives.

You may have some very mild notion of how you think corporal punishment should be used, but the truth is that you won't be present to overlook the sleep-deprived, frustrated, overburdened teacher that snaps, lashes out at the children and sends them to the hospital -- because Bhakti Vikasa Maharaj said that corporal punishment is ok. You won't be present, but you will be responsible…

If there is anything we can learn from the past it is precisely that you cannot trust that teachers will administer corporal punishment in a measured and safe fashion. Even for someone like yourself who believes that there is an appropriate use for corporal punishment, it is far safer to err on the side of caution and abolish it altogether.

Moreover, to discount the gravity of Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaj's actions, you quoted Bg 9-30, but again you omitted the full context, and then instead of describing the brutal beatings he inflicted on his students, to further your agenda you chose to focus on the ear-pulling incident instead. Since you are so fixated on ear pulling, I will share my own experience, just to give an example of how something so "innocent sounding" can turn ghastly.

When I was in the Vrindavana Gurukula, it was common practice among some teachers and monitors to physically lift small children by their ears as punishment. The skin around the ear would often lacerate and occasionally bleed. The frequency of this practice did not allow sufficient time for the wounds to heal, which sometimes became infected… these infections would often last for prolonged periods of time. These boys would then gain the nick-name kaan-sarii (rotten ears).

If you have read through the interview with Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaj you will have noticed that Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaj seemed to regard the raping of the children under his care as an expected, natural occurrence due to the seasonal increase in lust. You also conveniently ignored that Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaj touched the body of semi-naked young girls and that he spent nights alone in the company of a lady. You overlooked the fact that Srila Prabhupada clearly speaks of a single accidental mistake in the purport of Bg 9.30, whereas in the case of Bhakti Vidyapurna Maharaj we have decades of blunders.

The same goes for Indradyumna Maharaj. To this day, at his programs he surrounds himself with young girls, and he does not appear to be even trying to reform his ways, yet you endorse him. While at the same time you claim to support the highest sannyasa principles. I am puzzled.

You have selectively quoted the "ear pulling incident" out of context, you have also quoted Bg. 9.30 out of context, and now you have also quoted Srila Prabhupada on corporal punishment out of context. Why do you do this? What are your motives?

From www.fallacyfiles.org:

Quoting out of context

To quote out of context is to remove a passage from its surrounding matter in such a way as to distort its meaning. The context in which a passage occurs always contributes to its meaning, and the shorter the passage the larger the contribution. For this reason, the quoter must always be careful to quote enough of the context not to misrepresent the meaning of the quote. Of course, in some sense, all quotation is out of context, but by a "contextomy", I refer only to those quotes whose meaning is changed by a loss of context. The fallacy of quoting out of context is committed when a contextomy is offered as evidence in an argument. Such fallacious quoting can take two distinct forms:

1. Straw Man: This form is especially common in political debates, when opponents are quoted out of context in order to misrepresent their position, thus making them easier to refute. Frequently, the loss of context makes them sound simplistic or extreme.

2. Appeal to Authority: Naturally enough, arguments from authority often quote experts as a premise. However, it is possible to quote even legitimate experts out of context so as to misrepresent their opinions, which is a form of misleading appeal to authority.

Fat as a hog while his program's children were being underfed.

Narayana Maharaja Contradicts Srila Prabhupada

http://www.iskcontimes.com/contradictions-and-insults-by-narayana-maharaja-over-what-srila-prabhupada-told-to-us/

To many people both inside and outside the Movement, ISKCON's current Guru system is a complete farce. Perhaps predictably, all the scandal, fall downs and endless self-contradiction amongst Srila Prabhupada's wannabe successors (the 80 competing ISKCON 'Gurus') has opened the way for yet another personality, this time from outside ISKCON, with designs on Srila Prabhupada's legacy.

The GBC have preached for many years that everyone must have a "living, physically present Guru" (or anyone but Srila Prabhupada), and now they are reaping their reward. His Holiness Narayana Maharaja, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada's Godbrother, His Holiness Kesava Maharaja has had considerable success in attracting both ex and current members of ISKCON to his camp, by promoting his qualification as a "living, physically present Guru", who is bona fide and won't fall down, unlike the ISKCON Gurus.

Of course for many years NM was promoting the GBC's gurus as his "rasika" disciples, and he defended keeping these GBC's gurus in the post of being bona fide "diksha gurus," never mind he knew we were protesting his alleged gurus. Meanwhile, he said that worship of the pure devotee Srila Prabhupada is the "ritvik poison" deviation, and he promoted the GBC's gurus as his acharyas instead of Srila Prabhupada.

* Why was he saying conditioned souls can absorb sins like Jesus and be diksha gurus?

* Why did he say that Srila Prabhupada is wrong to say we originated in Krishna's leela?

* And why was NM helping the GBC's co-write many foolish documents like their "Guru Reform Notebook"?

* Why did NM refuse to meet me after inviting me to his ashram?

* Why did NM say Tulsi prayers are "karma kanda"?

* Why did NM attack Srila Prabhupada's program of having Narasimgha deities in his Radha Krishna temples, saying Narasimgha will "scare Radharani"?

And NM was in Dallas and many other places associated with Tamal Krishna swami's program. And he was the darling "shiksha guru" of many other of these GBC guru gangsters, of course Tamal was the main leader of the GBC's self-appointed acharyas program. When we came out with the poison issue in 1997, NM said this was very offensive (to show that his alleged rasika disciples were the Judas of ISKCON). And he battled with me for years over this issue, trying to defend the Judas sabha.

In 1984 NM started helping Satsvarupa and the bogus GBC write "The Guru Reform Notebook," where Narayana Maharaja helped establish that acharyas are often deviants who need "reform." Worse, Narayana Maharaja said that the children who were abused under his and Tamal's GBC's guru regime, the regime he supported, "were just getting their karma." He is authorized to dish out karma to others?

Narayana Maharaja likes to portray himself as a mere humble servant of Srila Prabhupada, who simply wants to bring everyone to Srila Prabhupada through a deeper appreciation of his mission and teachings:

"You should know who your Prabhupada is. You should know. Then you can glorify him, otherwise you cannot."

(Narayana Maharaja, Los Angeles, May 31st, 2000)

In this article we shall use Narayana Maharaja's own words to see if he is bringing us closer to Srila Prabhupada.

Narayana Maharaja Claims To Be Srila Prabhupada's Successor

Narayana Maharaja makes it clear that he is here not to bring people TO Srila Prabhupada, but to actually REPLACE Srila Prabhupada as his SUCCESSOR:

"I am the real successor of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja, and there is no other."

(Narayana Maharaja, Murwillumbah, Australia, February 18th, 2002)

Above, Narayana Maharaja boldly stakes out his pitch in direct competition with all the ISKCON Gurus who also want to succeed and replace, not complement, supplement or assist Srila Prabhupada.

Narayana Maharaja Competes Directly With Srila Prabhupada

In pursuance of the above stated aim to replace Srila Prabhupada, Narayana Maharaja has urged his followers to distribute HIS books in preference to those of Srila Prabhupada:

"Now Srila Gurudeva (Narayana Maharaja) has requested that we start what he calls 'a second revolution' in preaching and book distribution. He wants his books distributed in the same volume, 'not less than Swamiji (Srila Prabhupada).'"

(Gaudiya Courier, Issue 15, July 1st, 2004)

Clearly the above goal of trying to match Srila Prabhupada can only be achieved if Narayana Maharaja's books alone are being distributed by his followers, and that is generally what is happening.

Narayana Maharaja Claims Srila Prabhupada Only Gave The "Basement"
To create the demand for his services, Narayana Maharaja claims that there is much spiritual knowledge that Srila Prabhupada failed to give, so that he can claim he has come to fill this gap:

"So Swamiji has at first cleared the atmosphere. Prepared the ground...by preaching name and the sandesh of Gita... he prepared. So very important work ... so he has done this task and it was so necessary for that world...for all world...he has done but he has not done everything by doing that. It was only basement.[…] But...we are deprived of that... he could not complete his work."
(Lecture given by Narayana Maharaja on September 19th, 1994)

Narayana Maharaja Claims Srila Prabhupada Gave Everything

That the above statement is not actually true, can again be proven by the words of Narayana Maharaja himself, who said the following 17 years earlier to Srila Prabhupada himself:

"All of your duties are completed. You have fulfilled everything in your lifetime. There is no need to worry for anything.[…] Yes, you have done everything. Nothing is left unfinished."

(Translation of Bengali conversation between Narayana Maharaja and Srila Prabhupada from October 1977, provided by Narayana Maharaja's own camp)
That Narayana Maharaja would go onto say the complete opposite of what he himself claimed 17 years earlier, demonstrates opportunism of the highest order.

Narayana Maharaja Claims Srila Prabhupada Is Not

The Founder-Acarya Of Iskcon

This opportunism is further displayed in Narayana Maharaja's stating that Srila Prabhupada was not the Founder-Acarya of ISKCON. It is surely a redundant point that Lord Krishna (Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu) is the origin of all Krishna consciousness, so one wonders why Narayana Maharaja feels it so important to belittle Srila Prabhupada's position and promote his own position by stating such an obvious point:

"Also you should know that Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the founder of ISKCON. Swamiji, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja is one of the prominent acaryas in this line only. He is not founder…"

(Narayana Maharaja 28th April 1999, morning speech, Caracas, Venezuela)

"Your Prabhupada, Srila Swami Maharaja, only changed the name into English. He is not the founder acarya of that eternal ISKCON… I am ISKCON. I'm not different from ISKCON. I am 'Bhaktivedanta' [Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja]. Like father, like son. I am the real successor of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja, and there is no other. You should know this very openly. I am Bhaktivedanta and he is Bhaktivedanta, but he received this name after I did. I'm senior to him in this regard… I'm Bhaktivedanta, and I'm also ISKCON. Don't think that I'm out of ISKCON."

(Narayana Maharaja, Murwillumbah, Australia, February 18th, 2002)
But according to Srila Prabhupada:

"I am the founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness."

(Srila Prabhupada letter to Dr. Bigelow, Allahabad, January 20th, 1971)

Narayana Maharaja Deviates From Srila Prabhupada

1 Although he claims to be a successor to Srila Prabhupada, and that Srila Prabhupada is somehow speaking through him, it should be noted that Narayana Maharaja's teachings often seriously differ from Srila Prabhupada's. This is what Narayana Maharaja has to say about Prahlada Maharaja, who is worshipped on every altar throughout ISKCON as a completely pure devotee of Krishna:

"Prahlada Maharaja was a very bona fide bhakta, and he never wanted anything worldly, but he could not serve Krsna. His bhakti was mixed with jnana, knowledge of the Lord's opulence. If you have some worldly desire, or any desire, then your bhakti may be sanga-siddha bhakti or aropa-siddha bhakti, but not pure transcendental bhakti"

(Narayana Maharaja, Hawaii, February 17th, 2001)

Yet Srila Prabhupada's verdict is very different:

"Prahlada Maharaja is the topmost example of a Vaisnava"

(Srimad-Bhagavatam 4.21.47, purport)

"So we see practically how Prahlada Maharaja immediately attained the state of prema… he first of all followed the instruction of Brahma, then immediately he got the favor of Lord Nrsimhadeva, and after getting that he got the prema state."

(Srila Prabhupada lecture, Mayapur, February 14th, 1976)

"Consequently, instead of accepting the results of karma and jnana, Prahlada Maharaja simply begged the Lord for engagement in the service of His servant."

(Srimad Bhagavatam 5.24.25)

Above we see Prahlada Maharaja described as a pure devotee who actually shunned the results of jnana (knowledge).

Narayana Mahara Deviates From Srila Prabhupada

2 Narayana Maharaja claims that Advaita Acarya (one of the associates of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu) was incapable of giving people Vraja-Bhakti (pure devotion to Krishna):

"Sri Advaita Acarya...He is a part of the part of the part of the part of Krishna. Being so far away, He can preach with kirtana, but He cannot give Vraja-bhakti. Never. He is not qualified for this. Only Krishna can do this."
(Narayana Maharaja, Los Angeles, California May 31, 2000)

Contrast the above with the following verse from the Sri Caitanya Charitamrta as presented by Srila Prabhupada:

"He (Advaita Acharya) delivered all living beings by offering the gift of Krishna-bhakti (pure devotion to Krishna). He explained Bhagavadgita and Srimad-Bhagavatam in the light of devotional service."

(Srila Prabhupada, Caitanya caritamrita, Adi-lila 6.28)

Thus Narayana Maharaja again disagrees with the siksa (instruction) given by Srila Prabhupada, even though he also rather immodestly claims to be his "dearmost siksa disciple".

(here are more examples of such contradictions ).

ISKCON Publication Contradicts ISKCON Founder-Acarya!

Narayana Maharaja:

"I have not seen the word "ritvik" in our Vaisnava dictionary…

We have seen no such word as "ritvik"…
In our Gaudiya Vaisnava line there is no ritvik…"

(Narayana Maharaja, p.23, ISKCON Journal 1990)

[NOTE: In the 1990 ISKCON Journal NM says the worst deviants of the Gaudiya Matha are "acharyas like Srila Prabhupada." Of course, why is NM defending the GBC at all by 1990, when we all knew by then they were deviants?]

The word "ritvik" and its derivatives appear 32 times in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, the most important Purana for all Vaishnavas:

Ritvik: 4.6.1 / 4.7.16 / 5.3.2 / 5.3.3 / 5.4.17 / 7.3.20 / 8.20.22 / 9.1.15

Rtvijah: 4.5.7 / 4.5.18 / 4.7.27 / 4.7.45 /4.13.26 / 4.19.27 / 4.19.29 / 5.3.4 / 5.3.15 / 5.3.18 / 5.7.5 /8.16.53 /8.18.21 /8.18.22 / 9.4.23 / 9.6.3

Rtvijam: 4.6.52 / 4.21.5 / 8.23.13 / 9.13.1

Rtvigbhyah: 8.16.55

Rtvigbhih: 4.7.56 / 9.13.3
(Srila Prabhupada, Srimad-Bhagavatam)

Narayana Maharaja:

"Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura has not mentioned that so many others will do acarya, yet they have done. This is the system… So Tirtha Maharaja, Madhav Maharaja, Sridhar Maharaja, our Gurudeva, Swamiji Swamiji Bhaktivedanta Swami they all became acaryas." (Narayana Maharaja, p.23, ISKCON Journal 1990)

"Actually amongst my Godbrothers no one is qualified to become acarya."

(Srila Prabhupada letter, 28.4.74)

Narayana Maharaja:

"And for a newcomer, it is sure that he should be initiated by a living guru… In the parampara system living guru is essential."

(Narayana Maharaja, p.22, ISKCON Journal 1990)

"What we have heard from the Spiritual Master, that is living."

(Srila Prabhupada, lecture, 69/01/13)

"…one has to associate with liberated persons not directly, physically, but by understanding, through philosophy and logic, the problems of life."
(Srila Prabhupada's Srimad-Bhagavatam 3:31:48)

"So there are two kinds of association: physical and preceptorial. Physical association is not so important as preceptorial association."

(Srila Prabhupada letter to Govinda Dasi, 18/8/69)

Narayana Maharaja Claims Srila Prabhupada Asked Him To Guide His Disciples
Narayana Maharaja has claimed that Srila Prabhupada ordered him to instruct Srila Prabhupada's disciples:

"He ordered me, 'Help my disciples' [...] You can get that cassette.[...] If anyone does not have belief in my statements, he can acquire and hear the cassette. At the time he spoke in Bengali so that others would not understand."

(Salt Spring Island, Canada, April 2001, pm)

This claim is based on Srila Prabhupada stating "you kindly instruct them on this matter" to Narayana Maharaja, during a Bengali conversation spoken between the two sometime in October-November 1977.

However, as will be seen from the full translation of this conversation provided by the Narayana Maharaja camp themselves, Srila Prabhupada does not say anything of the sort. Whilst reading the relevant portion of the conversation below, please pay special attention to whom the word "them" in the above sentence refers to; what was the "matter" on which Srila Prabhupada wanted Narayana Maharaja to give instruction; and "when" this instruction was meant to be given:

Srila Prabhupada: Are any of my god-brothers in Vrindavana now?
Narayana Maharaja: Yes.
Srila Prabhupada: Who?
Narayana Maharaja: Van Maharaja might be there, as well as Indupati Prabhu from Caitanya Gaudiya Matha.
Srila Prabhupada: Any more?
Narayana Maharaja: Only these two at the moment.
Srila Prabhupada: Who is Indupati?
Narayana Maharaja: He comes here often.
Bhakticaru Swami: From Madhava Maharaja's matha?
Narayana Maharaja: Yes. No one else is here.
Srila Prabhupada: Please call both of them. Van Maharaja and him.
Narayana Maharaja: This is very good proposal by you.
Srila Prabhupada: Please sit down. They will call them.
Narayana Maharaja: All right.
Srila Prabhupada: This cutting of arguments happens sometimes...
Narayana Maharaja: These are insignificant matters in such a substantial worldwide mission. A little something here and there is of no consequence. You have done this wonderful preaching work for the benefit of the whole world. There was no self-interest. You did everything only in devotional service to Krsna for benefiting all people at large.
Srila Prabhupada: It is all by your blessings.
Narayana Maharaja: You have done a wonderful thing. It is necessary to care for and preserve this mission, and see that it is managed skilfully.
Srila Prabhupada: You kindly instruct them on this matter. I'm unable to speak.
When we see the sentence in context, those three aspects become clarified:

1) The word "them" refers to Srila Prabhupada's Godbrothers who were to arrive shortly, not to Srila Prabhupada's disciples. The word "them" comes twice before the final sentence, and both times it refers to his Godbrothers, Indupati Prabhu and Van Maharaja.

2) The "matter" on which Srila Prabhupada wanted Narayana Maharaja to instruct his Godbrothers was that they forgive him for any "cutting of arguments" he may have done in the course of his preaching.

3) And "when" was this instruction to be given? There and then. Immediately after Srila Prabhupada asks Narayana Maharaja to give instruction he states: "I'm unable to speak". This is the reason he is asking Narayana Maharaja to make these points to his Godbrothers on his behalf when they arrive.

So here we clearly see a false claim made by Narayana Maharaja to promote his agenda as being the "real successor" to Srila Prabhupada.

In conclusion, on the basis of all the above, it is clear from Narayana Maharaja's OWN WORDS that he is not simply a "dearmost siksa disciple" of Srila Prabhupada whose aim is to help to bring us closer to Srila Prabhupada. Rather he is no different to the 80 wannabe "successor Gurus" of ISKCON, doing and saying whatever is necessary to jockey for Srila Prabhupada's position.

Fans Flock to Justin Bieber Concert in Mumbai

http://www.ndtv.com/india-news/justin-bieber-india-concert-live-updates-justin-biebers-checked-in-fans-flock-to-mumbai-1691628

[PADA: Lots of screaming "Beliebers" and all sorts of Bollywood-ites. Yup, India is going more Westernized, there is no question. Is this good for India is another thing? There were some India folks typically complaining that the concert ticket money should have been used to feed the poor and so on and so forth.

In any case, nothing personal against Justin Bieber, he is just going where he is welcomed and wanted, but this begs the question, what happened to Lord Chaitanya's movement and why is it not getting more public attention over there, and instead, the Westernized contemporary music shows are getting so much of the attention? I think this is the collective failure of the GBC, and Lord Chaitanya's followers in general, to get Krishna more on the map. ys pd]

Srila Bhaktivinode's Prayers to Lord Narasimha

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has written five beautiful prayers in “Sri Navadvipa Bhava Taranga” for receiving the mercy of Lord Narasimha. These prayers are certainly assurance to all sincere devotees that the worship of Lord Narasimha is purely in the line of aspiring love and devotion to Sri Sri Radha and Krsna. Those prayers are as follows:

e dusta hrdaye kama adi ripu chaya
kutinati pratisthasa sathya sada raya
hrdaya-sodhana ara krsnera vasana
nrsimha-carane mora ei to’ kamana

Within my sinful heart the six enemies headed by lust perpetually reside, as well as duplicity, the desire for fame, plus sheer cunning. At the lotus feet of Lord Narasimha, I hope that He will mercifully purify my heart and give me the desire to serve Lord Krsna.

kandiya nrsimha-pade magibo kakhana
nirapade navadvipe jugala-bhajana
bhaya bhaya paya yan’ra darsane se hari
prasanna hoibo kabe more daya kari

Weeping, I will beg at the lotus-feet of Lord Narasimha for the benediction of worshipping Radha and Krsna in Navadvipa, perfectly safe and free from all difficulties. When will this Lord Hari, Whose terrible form strikes fear into fear itself, ever become pleased and show me His mercy?

yadyapi bhisana murti dusta-jiva-prati
prahladadi krsna-bhakta-jane bhadra ati
kabe va prasanna ho’ye sa krpa-vacane
nirbhaya karibe ei mudha akincane

Even though Lord Narasimha is terrifying toward the sinful souls, He offers great auspiciousness unto the devotees of Lord Krsna headed by Prahlada Maharaja. When will He be pleased to speak words of compassion unto me, a worthless fool, and thereby make me fearless?

svacchande baiso he vatsa sri-gauranga-dhame
jugala-bhajana hau rati hau name
mama bhakta-krpa-bale vighna jabe dura
suddha cite bhajo radha-krsna-rasa-pura

He will say, “Dear child! Sit sown freely and live happily here in Sri Gauranga-dhama. May you nicely worship the Divine Couple, and may you develop loving attachment for Their Holy Names. By the mercy of My devotees, all obstacles are cast far away. With a purified heart, just perform the worship of Radha and Krsna, for such worship overflows with sweet nectar.”

ei boli’ kabe mora mastaka-upara
sviya sri-carana harse dharibe isvara
amani jugala-preme sattvika vikare
dharaya lutibo ami sri-nrsimha-dvare

Saying this, will that Lord delightedly place His own divine lotus-feet upon my head? I will experience sublime love for the Divine Couple Radha-Krsna and undergo the ecstatic transformations called sattvika. Falling on the ground, I will roll about at the door of Sri Narasimha’s temple.

Narasimgha Kavacha (Video) + English Sub Title

Does Lord Narasimgha Protect False Acharyas? (Andrew Whitlock etc)

Thanks for booting me off your forum Andrew Whitlock. This of course is proof positive of why we have had to make our own public web sites, blogs, videos, and of course public lawsuits, and aid the police / FBI / Federal Marshals etc. with public arrests and SWAT raids and so on, because we are too many times banned by "the devotees" -- like yourself -- from presenting information "inside" the devotee circles. So this blocking effort has caused me to be independent, ok in other words you (and the GBC) folks blocking and banning others is why we had to do that.

This is really not a big problem for me since I learned many years ago, actually around 1980, that its best to be independent and make my own publishing forums and so forth, and its working fine for me as far as I am concerned, because a lot of devotees, and probably tens of millions of public folks, later on agreed with many of my points.

In sum, I really do not need to be on any forum anymore, the cat is out of the bag so to speak. I could get a big inflatable beach chair and sit on the Golden Gate beach, and not a lot would change. The info is out there already, and its spreading all by itself at this point, there is no actual need for me to push hard anymore.

However, as far as Srila Prabhupada saying that us neophytes cannot take sins, or else they will get sick, fall down or both (and die if they get too sick) I am sorry that you feel Srila Prabhupada is being too harsh, too cruel and uncaring when he says these types of things? And so you kicked me (actually not me, you kicked Srila Prabhupada's statements) off your forum. Yes, boo hoo Srila Prabhupada says so many cruel things like -- false gurus will suffer illness and falling in this life, and go to the lowest planets in the next life. How cruel is that!

Really, its Krishna ultimately who is so cruel to say these things, and to make these false gurus into cock roaches, fleas and scorpions in their future lives. Maybe yes and maybe not cruel, but perhaps their quotes are trying to wake up people like you -- to the facts of this material world. Krishna also says He casts the sinful down to the lower regions, and these sinful souls thus have to rotate around here for trillions of years, is He also cruel and mean in your opinion? Or is there some standard He expects us to follow, and imitating acharyas is not one of them?

Of course Srila Prabhupada also says if we eat cows, we have to suffer for that too, apparently that is also cruel and unfeeling? Or is he giving us a warning about what to do and what not to do, for our benefit? There are many warnings, and one of them is -- neophytes should not be diksha gurus and take sins, or they will suffer, and when they suffer, yes that means the system of karma is working nicely, because that is Krishna's system. People who violate the laws of God suffer for that. Now you are saying we should have compassion for these people, apparently because Krishna does not, He punishes them?

Of course, if you folks were truly compassionate, you would join me in warning these imitation guru people not to take a path that will lead to their destruction. Nope, you want to ban anyone who warns these people not to take this path to their destruction. So you are de facto leading them to their destruction yourself, by taking away the warning signs, causing them to fall into a ditch. In sum, you are the person who has no compassion for them, and worse, you want others to fall into the same pit by stopping us from posting Srila Prabhupada's warnings on this matter. "It's mean spirited to remind people -- they should not violate the orders of Krishna"?

Prabhupada: If somebody, ordinary man, makes some law, nobody will accept that law. That is not law. But government gives some law that "Keep to the right," you have to obey it. If you break this law, you will be punished. You can say, "What wrong I have done? Instead of going to the right, I have gone to the left. Both ways there are roads and streets." The government says, "No, I ordered you to keep to the right. You have violated. You must be punished." Simple thing.

"This is adharma: "You have violated the laws of the government. You must be punished." So a dog, of course, if he violates the law, he is not punished. The punishment is meant for the human being, because he has got developed sense. He cannot violate the laws. If he violates... All the books, laws, everything -- education, culture, philosophy, science -- it is all meant for the human being, not for the cats and dogs. So the human being must know what is the actual law. That is dharma.

Therefore in the human society there is some form of dharma. Either you are Christian or Hindu or Muslim or Buddhist, throughout the whole world, any civilized nation, they have got some dharma or religious system. Why? Through it, you should understand what is the goal of your life. If you do not know that, then proportionately, as you are ignorant, fool, you will be punished. You will be punished.

PADA: OK, violating the laws means, you will be punished. And now you have made Swarupa Hebel your co-site manager, oh swell and he and his pals like Sruta Srava das have promoted Sridhara Maharaja, one of the MAIN people who entices all sorts of conditioned souls to take the post of acharyas, so they will get sick, fall down, and die prematurely from taking sins. The pied piper of the false guru's program is our authority?

And you say you have been writing Jayadvaita swami for 17 years, and we do not know what your relation with him is all about? Well we do know: he is the person who says acharyas engage in illicit sex; he is changing the books; and he asks "why in the hell are we chanting Prabhupada's pranams" etc. We know all about his agenda. And we know you are against us attacking his agenda, because you are blocking us from addressing his agenda.

Now you say, in addition to numerous other cases of GBC's gurus falling ill, Jayadvaita himself complains he is "too sick" to answer his e-mails? OK suppose he is sick from taking karma, and you are not trying to advise him how that is wrong? And you have been associated with him for 17 years, not us? And you want to block people who point out why he and his pals are failing?

And apparently, you told him what you told me, everyone gets sick eventually, so guru imitation is not a big problem. OK that nullifies Srila Prabhupada's warnings not to imitate the acharyas, or face getting reactions? The average karmi lifespan is 80 years in the USA, thus no, its not normal for so many "vegetarian" people to have terminal illness at or even before age 60?

And Swarupa Hebel says he is "all verklempt" about whether Srila Prabhupada should be the acharya or not, ... we should follow Sridhara's false messiahs program? Swarupa Hebel and his pals like Bhakta das still do not know that promoting conditioned souls as acharyas is the wrong idea?; That its causing their false gurus to get sick, fall down, and die? He still does not see the writing on the wall?

Sruta Srava died prematurely in our opinion, and Swarupa has all sorts of critical health maladies, because apparently, even acquiescing with this program is not a healthy process. Its amazing that Srila Prabhupada said Professor Sannyal was the best of the lot of these three -- Sridhara Maharaja, Madhava Maharaja and the Professor, because Krishna killed Professor Sannyal for promoting the false guru of 1936, to stop him from making more offenses. Apparently the other two lived on, and were able to make more offenses because they were not advanced enough to have their offenses of supporting false guru nipped by Krishna .... !!!

You folks are thus spreading the mad acharya disease epidemic, and even yourselves say these false gurus are getting so badly sick -- they cannot even answer their mails? So the way to fix this disease, is to spread this disease? Did we forget to mention that Swarupa Hebel's / Sridhara Maharaja's bi-sexual acharya's program had dissenters banned, beaten and murdered, and later their acharya's son was poisoned to death to cover up the acharya's scandals, and so their acharya committed suicide -- due to realizing he was ruining everyone around him.

This is the way forward, Swarupa Hebel and Sruta Srava's conditioned soul acharyas process? And Sridhara's post 1977 acharyas had the same program, banning, beating, scandals, lawsuits and murders ... and we still do not know that was wrong or not? So you added this agenda to your forum?

I forgot, we have to be merciful to these people, and -- not bring any of this up?
Well that means, there is no way to save them. If they do not get the right understanding, then we will have more waves of them crashing on the beach.
In any case, its the same basic principle with everything. We can be merciful to people, by not telling them how to reach Krishna? By allowing them to fail? By allowing them to get sick, fall down, and die, without telling them how to avoid this path?

Worse! What about the followers of these people? Where is your mercy for them?

Praying to be saved from unauthorized taking sins?

We have seen their poor followers praying:

Save Jayatirtha, he is falling down from taking our sins!

Save Kirtanananda, he is sick from taking our sins!

Save Bhakti Tirtha swami, he has cancer from taking our sins!

Save Gunagrahi, he has cancer from taking our sins!

Save Kadamba maharaja, he has cancer from taking our sins!

Save Ramesvara, he is falling down from taking our sins!

Save Satsvarupa, he has intense headaches from taking our sins!

Save Bhagavan, he fell down from taking our sins!

Save Suhotra Swami, he is sick from taking our sins!

Save Jayapataka, he is sick from taking our sins!

Save Harikesha is is sick and falling down from taking our sins!

Save Jaggadish, he is very sick and cannot eat, from taking our sins!

Save Kavichandra, he is very sick from taking our sins!

Save Prithu, he is falling down from taking our sins!

Save Gaura govinda maharaja from his illness!

And now Jayadvaita's Russian guru is "suffering complete mental and physical break down" -- no kidding!

http://krishna1008.blogspot.com/2017/04/bhakti-vijnana-swami-another-retired.html

Ad infinitum ...

And even:

Pray to save the Brooklyn temple, from being sold by our gurus!

Pray to get back the Belfast deity, stolen by the gurus!

Pray to save ISKCON from lawsuits, caused by our gurus!

And even:

Guys like Hrdayananda and H. H. Bir Krsna Goswami have said they can be diksha gurus and absorb sins like Jesus -- and they have started speculating about Krishna West? OK they have fallen ...

And Radhanatha Swami buried Kirtanananda in the holy dham, to glorify the falling down as acharyas?

Did it ever occur to you folks, you cannot deviate and then pray to Krishna to fix your deviations? So what about this program's misleading the followers being placed into such illusions? As soon as we say, lets bring this out, these gurus cannot absorb these sins, you block Srila Prabhupada's statements. You are blocking him and not me, and we can see the results of your folks blocking his statements, there is no mercy for the imitations and no mercy for their followers, rather the illusion continues.

Anyway, you and Swarupa Hebel have a nice party of promoting the worship of deviations, sorry, it will cause these false gurus to fail, and the followers to be in illusion about these failures. Quoting Srila Prabhupada on this topic is the only way forward, just like it is for any other topic. And I hate to be the one to break this to you, but these gurus are getting sick, falling down and dying prematurely, and that is simply a fact of life, don't accept it at your peril.

Yes, praying to Lord Narasimgha to fix deviations will not work, and its not working. When will you people wake up to this fact, its not working and never will? Lord Narasimgha has no interest in protecting deviants, they will fail and their supporters will too. That is too cruel, I know, but its what Krishna does, and no one can change that forever. Of course I know all about it, Krishna is a mean guy, and His statements are too uncaring and cruel, ooops, and this is how we fell to this place from the get go ... hee hee!
