ONE standard for being acharya

Prabhu, Yes, there may be all kind of levels, all kinds of plans, and that is all fine. What I am saying is that there is simply one standard for being the acharya and Srila Prabhupada defines what that standard is, the acharya has to be a resident of Krishna loka. Now there may be those who accept that standard, and those who do not, that does not change the siddhanta, if he is not a resident of Krishna loka, then he is not qualified to take the post of acharya. And Srila Prabhupada warns that confusion and dysfunction occurs when the standards become watered down, which is why Srila Prabhupada says India is a hodge podge, because they have no recognized standards for gurus and avatars etc. Its dysfunctional to have all kinds of standards for the acharya. That was the warning, and HDG is right, its is a hodge podge when these standards are deteriorated and minimized. ys pd
