Flat Earth Joins Changed Books / Who is useless (Upendranath) 05 12 24

MUKUNDA UK:
FANATICAL FLAT EARTHER [Mathura Pati] SAYS HE WANTS KRISHNA TO KILL HIM IN A CAR CRASH IF THE EARTH IS NOT FLAT. So basically everything I quote from Prabhupada is correct you cannot refute it! But you will stick to your flat earth nonsense until Krishna kills you in a car crash!!! This is blind fanatical FOOL. CRAZY FANATIC NOT INTELLIGENT FOLLOWER OF PRABHUPADA.

PADA: The whole issue with Purujit started a few years ago. He insisted that he was going to edit the 1972 Gita himself, and make his own version. Which he has subsequently done. Then his followers went on a rampage attacking PADA for our saying the 1972 edition is authorized. In fact, most of us old timers became devotees by reading the original early 1970s Gitas. I was reading the Blue Cover condensed version before the full edition was ever even published.

Then Mathura Pati blocks the Srila Prabhupada's quotes we provided, showing that Srila Prabhupada was already not happy with the 1976 edits, and he wanted to go back to the originals. In other words, Mathura Pati does not even know what an original book is in the first place.

Then Mathura Pati said that Srila Prabhupada statements about the earth being a globe are -- incorrectly translated by Srila Prabhupada (as he told Rosalba). Srila Prabhupada also authorized a round globe in the paintings in his books, which he supposedly did to -- appease the public and not make a controversy.

Anyway, now Mathura Pati says, if the earth is not flat, then he should die in a car crash to prove the earth is a round globe. Is someone not taking their meds here? How will his car crash prove that the world is not the shape of a piece of cheese cake?

Meanwhile both Mukunda UK and Mathura Pati have been citing Radhanath's cheer leader Bhakta das as their shiksha authority. And none of the Prabhupadanugas are on board with that process. So I don't know exactly what is going on with these folks, but someone says -- there might be some serious intoxicants involved here.

Meanwhile, when Tamal went to India to discuss the child abuse lawsuit, he was killed -- in a car crash -- after leaving the meeting. And Tamal's followers blamed me for his departure. PADA baited Tamal to go to India! It is all PADA's fault he is gone!

At the time, Mukunda UK was crying his eyes out how the cruel PADA had taken away his hero Tamal. He was infuriated that we started the lawsuit which supposedly caused Tamal to be gone, and he said PADA is a great offender for taking away their hero meister of the jagat Tamal. We really cannot make this stuff up?

Everyone else was cheering me along saying this is great, this guy is gone, but Mukunda and his friends were crying like babies that their Judas saint was taken out -- and he was crying that PADA was all to blame, just like the GBC people. Really? Well I had no idea he was even there, or was going there, and had nothing to do with his situation there.

In any case, there is no need for all these dramatics. If the earth is round, square, flat, triangle etc., your dying in a car crash won't prove a blessed thing. Other than, you are another nut job posing as a Hare Krishna.

Anyway, we do have to make a stand on the book changes issue, that is not acceptable. And promoting Bhakta dasa and Saint Radhanath is getting TONS of complaints from the PADA-ites, they don't like that at all.

In the end, more PADA readers are telling me, these people are all not fit to be called actual devotees, they are motivated fanatics who want to use Krishna to promote their personal agendas. But something is clearly wrong when they are saying -- my dying in a car crash will prove my idea. That sounds just a little bit psycho to the average person.

What did Tamal's car crash prove? I forgot, it proves that PADA was the cause, when PADA was not even aware he was there! OK enough nuttiness for one day, hee hee.

Upendranath

Did Srila Prabhupada, or any of the Past Acaryas, use the Adjective “Useless”? & Are You Making Spiritual Advancement?

SRILA PRABHUPADA WROTE IN PURPORT TO BHAGAVAD-GITA 10.4-5:

“Satyam, truthfulness, means that facts should be presented as they are, for the benefit of others. Facts should not be misrepresented. According to social conventions, it is said that one can speak the truth only when it is palatable to others. But that is not truthfulness. The truth should be spoken in a straightforward way, so that others will understand actually what the facts are. If a man is a thief, and if people are warned that he is a thief, that is truth. Although sometimes the truth is unpalatable, one should not refrain from speaking it. Truthfulness demands that the facts be presented as they are for the benefit of others. That is the definition of truth.”

So, now keep in your mind, the above purport, by Srila Prabhupada. Especially: “Truthfulness demands that the facts be presented as they are for the benefit of others.”

Now I will “Present the FACTS, because Truthfulness Demands it”; as Srila Prabhupada wrote in the above Purport.

LECTURE, BHAGAVAD-GITA.1974, HAWAII:

“Unless one is firmly established in the mode of goodness, one’s spiritual life is simply a bluff one is firmly established in the mode of goodness, one’s spiritual life is simply a bluff. Because without coming to the platform of sativa-guna, (mode of goodness), nobody can advance in spiritual life. That is a fact. Just like nobody is allowed to enter the law college unless he is a graduate. This restriction is there. What he will understand, law? He must be a graduate.

So similarly, first of all, one has to come to the platform of sattva-guna. Then spiritual knowledge begins. Because spiritual knowledge is above sattva-guna. Above sattva-guna.

Therefore, sattva-guna is the best quality, when one brain is clear and he can see things as they are, no hazy understanding, but clear understanding. Therefore, sattva-guna is the qualification of brahmana.”

The words underlined, and used by Srila Prabhupada, I will show the definitions, just in case there is a reader who is not getting Srila Prabhupada’s “drift”, so to speak.

Ø Drift: “the general intention or meaning of an argument or someone's remarks.”

Ø Unless: “except on the condition that.”

Ø Firmly: “strongly and tightly:”

Ø Established: “having been in existence for a long time and therefore recognized and generally accepted”

Ø Simply: “n a straightforward or plain manner”

PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEXT ONE:

Ø Bluff: “an attempt to deceive someone into believing that one can or will do something”

Ø Nobody: “no person, no one”

Ø Advance: “move forward in a purposeful way; make or cause to make progress; a development or improvement”

Ø Fact: “something that has actual existence; a truth known by actual experience or observation”

Ø Begins: “start; perform or undergo the first part of (an action or activity)”

Ø Above: “in a higher place than”

I unconditionally state that the majority of Srila Prabhupada disciples, especially the disciples in the various levels of Leadership, have become, “USELESS”.

“Useless”, means: “Not fulfilling or not expected to achieve the intended purpose or desired outcome.”

These words are certainly “unpalatable” to many, however, to some they are not, because they know it is the “truth”.

Even more significant, this emotionally charged adjective is not the word concocted, or rationalized opinion, by Upendranath dasa. Upendranath Dasa, is simply repeating, the adjective used by Krishna dasa Kaviraja Gosvami, in his Sri Caitanya-caritamrita, where he references Srila Jiva Gosvami. Moreover, Srila Prabhupada has also used this emotionally charged adjective in his purports; where he also references Krishnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami, , and Srila Jiva Gosvami.

Both, leaders and rank-and-file devotees, disciples of Srila Prabhupada or disciples of his disciples, can be described with this adjective, “USELESS”, simply because of just ONE, (1), reason! Yes! Only one reason; and that is:

“They are not following the orders and instructions given by Srila Prabhupada.”

SRILA PRABHUPADA GAVE ORDERS & INSTRUCTIONS, AND ADVICE OF TWO TYPES.

1. Those applicable to all his disciples.

2. Those applicable to only the disciples who comprise the leadership, namely the GBC’s[1]-Ministers, Sannyasis[2], and Temple Presidents, and their Officers, like Temple Commanders, Secretaries, and Treasures.

Nevertheless, if the leaders of ISKCON, for some reason or another, have not followed his principal orders & instructions; this defiance will also filter on down to the rank-and-file devotees, causing negative personal consequences to them as well.

Upendranath dasa, posits that the failure to follow the following 2 instructions or orders, is the root cause of ISKCON’s ruination; simply, because the Leaders have become “USELESS”.

I will now describe what is considered as the two most important, and consequential issues, that led Srila Prabhupada’s institution into “ruination”; and caused the rank-and-file devotees to have the mental attitude of: “It Is What It Is”, (an expression used to characterize a frustrating or challenging situation that a person believes cannot be changed and must just be accepted).

These two instructions are,

1. Not following his orders and instructions, regarding the “Selecting of a Spiritual Master”, known as the “Guru-Issue”; when an Unauthorized and Concocted Guru selection System, that is not sanctioned or supported by Gaudiya-Vaisnavas Siddhanta, or the principle of “Guru, Shastra, Sadhu”, was established.

2. Not following the orders and instructions, on how ISKCON should be managed as directed in the “Direction of Management Letter” written in 1972 (the DOM); both while he was with us, and after his departure, (I will not elaborate on this because I know that it is not part of your life and not relevant at this time for you)

The following is just one of numerous such reference, that can be found in Srila Prabhupada Veda-Base, which constitutes a “USELESS” Disciple.

SRI CAITANYA-CARITAMRITA, ADI LILA, 12.10, SRILA KRISHNA-DASA KAVIRAJA GOSWAMI WROTE.

“The order of the spiritual master is the active principle in spiritual life. Anyone who disobeys the order of the spiritual master immediately becomes USELESS.”

PURPORT:

“Here is the opinion of Srila Krishnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami. Persons who strictly follow the orders of the spiritual master are useful in executing the will of the Supreme, whereas persons who deviate from the strict order of the spiritual master are USELESS.”

An unauthorized, guru system was adopted by the GBC, just months after Srila Prabhupada departed. and it still functions to this day. Keep in mind that it is not the lone opinion of this Upendranath Dasa that ISKCON has such an unauthorized guru system. It is originally the opinion of Srila Prabhupada, Krishnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami, and Srila Jiva Gosvami.

SRI CAITANYA-CARITAMRITA, ADI-LILA 1.31 PURPORT:

“It is imperative that a serious person accept a bona fide spiritual master in terms of the sastric injunctions.

Sri Jiva Gosvami advises that one not accept a spiritual master in terms of hereditary or customary social and ecclesiastical conventions.

One should simply try to find a genuinely qualified spiritual master for actual advancement in spiritual understanding.”

The phrase “It is imperative that a serious person”, and “sastric injunctions”, are very significant.

Imperative Means: “of vital importance; crucial; that something is of the utmost importance or necessity”.

Serious person Means: “People who are thoughtful and quiet, and do not laugh very often; are earnest, grave, sedate, sober, solemn, and sedate”.

IN REGARD TO “SASTRIC INJUNCTIONS”, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

SRIMAD-BHAGAVATAM 4.27.25 PURPORT, SRILA PRABHUPADA WRITES:

“ … The sastric injunctions are confirmed by great sages like Narada Muni. As stated by Narottama dasa Thakura: sadhu-çastra-guru-vakya, cittete kariya aikya. One should follow the principles of saintly persons, scriptures and the spiritual master. In this way one is sure to attain success in life. …”

Srila Prabhupada wrote, “The sastric injunctions are confirmed by great sages like Narada Muni.”, He did not write, “The sastric injunctions are confirmed by conditioned devotees with a title of ‘GBC’”. It is what is called “A No Brainer”, that having the title of “GBC” does not put you on “par” with the status of a great sages like Narada Muni.

CAITANYA-CARITAMRTA ANTYA 3.221 SRILA PRABHUPADA WRITE IN PURPORT:

“ … the sastric injunctions, which are the true medium of evidence or proof …”

Srila Prabhupada, did not write, “ the GBC resolutions, which are the true medium of evidence or proof.”

IN TLC, CHAPTER 31, SRILA PRABHUPADA WRITES:

“ … All Sastric injunctions, as well as the versions of great sages and authorities, establish that a bona fide spiritual master is not necessarily a brahmana. The only qualification is that he be conversant with the science of Krishna, Krishna consciousness. That alone makes one perfectly eligible to become a spiritual master. This is the conclusion of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in His discussions with Ramananda Raya. …”

SRILA PRABHUPADA, AGAIN CITING SRILA JIVA GOSVAMI, WRITES IN CAITANYA-CARITAMRITA, ADI.1.35. PURPORT:

“It is imperative that a serious person accept a bona fide spiritual master in terms of the sastric injunction.

Sri Jiva Gosvami advises that one not accept a spiritual master in terms of hereditary or customary social and ecclesiastical conventions.

One should simply try to find a genuinely qualified spiritual master for actual advancement in spiritual understanding.”

Srila Prabhupada and Sri Jiva Gosvami advises that one should find a spiritual master in terms of sastric injunctions, and not accept a spiritual master in terms of hereditary or customary social and ecclesiastical conventions.

However, and unfortunately, the GBC of ISKCON (Which does not exist any more; which is now the GBC of West Bengal India) has a system of “RUBBERSTAMPING” Gurus, who’s main qualification is that they are “Yes-Men”, and have a desire to what Srila Bhaktivinoda called Sutle-Sex-Life: “Profit”, “Adoration” & “Distinction”

Yet the ISKCON GBC has done exactly this; so, are they not guilty of not following the orders of one’s spiritual master? Of course, they are guilty of not following the orders of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Jiva Goswami. One could say that they are “guilty as sin”, i.e., “completely or very guilty.”

ISKCON’s Guru selection system violates the advice given by Srila Prabhupada and Sri Jiva Gosvami when they say that one should not accept a spiritual master in terms of hereditary or customary social and ecclesiastical conventions. ISKCON’s Guru selection system that is offered to its members is absolutely a “customary social, and ecclesiastical convention”; or in simpler terms, it is “Rubberstamping”, par- excellent.

LET US LOOK AT THE MEANING OF THE WORDS USED BY SRILA JIVA GOSWAMI:

Customary: According to or depending on custom; usual; habitual. Of or established by custom rather than law. Defined by long-continued practices.

Social: Relating to, devoted to, or characterized by friendly companionship or relations. Living or disposed to live in companionship with others or in a community, rather than in isolation.

Ecclesiastical: Of or relating to the church or the clergy; churchly; clerical; not secular.

Convention: A meeting or formal assembly, as of representatives or delegates, for discussion of and action on particular matters of common concern. A representative Party assembly to nominate candidates and adopt platforms and assembly protocols.

ISKCON’s guru system was established by custom and not by sastra. It certainly requires a society that is disposed to living in companionship with others or in a community, and is clerical, and not secular. This guru system was established with meetings, and formal assembly; with discussions regarding actions to be taken, that were of common interest and concern, to the power, and financial vested interests of GBCs, Gurus, Sannaysis, and Temple Presidents.

SRILA PRABHUPADA WROTE IN QUEST FOR ENLIGHTENMENT, 2F, THE MERCY OF LORD CAITANYA:

As Naratama Dasa Thakura says,

“Make the orders of the spiritual master your life and soul.”

And then,

“Do not think otherwise. Simply accept what he says.”

Of course,

“First of all, you must select who will be your spiritual master”.

You must know his qualifications. If you want to purchase gold, you must at least know where gold is available. If you are so foolish that you go to a butcher shop to buy diamonds or gold, then you'll be cheated.

Similarly, if out of ignorance, you approach the wrong person for spiritual guidance, you'll be cheated.

So, finding a bona fide guru requires intelligence and sincerity. If you are serious about understanding the goal of life, spiritual knowledge, then Krishna will help you. He is situated in everyone's heart, and he understands when you are sincerely seeking the Absolute Truth. Then He gives direction: “Go to this person.” Krishna is already giving direction in every respect. We want to do so many things, and Krishna is giving us the facility. As He says in the Bhagavad-gita 18.61,

“The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone's heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy.”

As the Supersoul in the heart, Krishna is giving facilities to all living entities in their wanderings throughout the various species. But when one becomes very eager to understand Krishna, or God, He is glad to give instruction:

“Go to such-and-such person and submissively inquire from him. You'll be enlightened.”

CAITANYA-CARITAMRTA-MADHYA-LILA 19.15,

“According to their karma, all living entities are wandering throughout the entire universe. Some of them are being elevated to the upper planetary systems, and some are going down into the lower planetary systems. Out of many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Krishna. By the mercy of both Krishna and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service.”

By the mercy of the spiritual master and Krishna one can make spiritual advancement. One must simply be sincere.

Krishna did not say that someone else will select for you by providing a list of GBC approved gurus, which Srila Prabhupada called “Rubber-Stamping”, and which he disapproved of. This has been confirmed by Srila Jiva Gosvami when he advises that one not accept a spiritual master in terms of hereditary or customary social and ecclesiastical conventions.

Srila Prabhupada also said, “You must know his qualifications”.

SRI CAITANYA-CARITAMRITA-MADHYA-LILA 19.151,

“By the mercy of the spiritual master and Krishna one can make spiritual advancement. One must simply be sincere.”

“Sincere” means, “Free from ‘pretense’, or ‘deceit’.”

“Pretense”, means, “An attempt to make something that is not the case appear true; a false display of feelings, attitudes, or intentions.”

“Deceit”, means,“The action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth.”

ISKCON leaders are not sincere, because they are not free from pretense or deceit. They make things that are not the case, appear to be true. They display false feelings, attitudes, and intention. They deceive their disciples and followers, by concealing and misrepresenting the “Truth” regarding the selection of a guru and what it means to be a disciple.

Gurus are approved by a system where by the guru candidate, personally petitions a selection committee, and includes a recommendation from an established guru. Then the want-to-be guru, must wait for a probationary period. If approved by the selection committee, they then recommend the candidate to the whole GBC. The GBC, who on the basis of the approval of the committee, does not deliberate, and simply, automatically, and unanimously, votes the candidate, as an authorized guru. This is “Rubber-Stamping” par excellent. Later, you will read, where Srila Prabhupada said “No Rubber-Stamping”. Simply speaking, the GBCs are selected in this manner. This is reminiscent of the “Politburo of the historical Communist Party of the Soviet Union”, or the Catholic Church system of Pope and Cardinals.

Yes, an aspiring disciple in ISKCON is allowed to make a personal choice of who they want their guru to be. However, they are not allowed to determine who is a qualified guru. They depend on the GBC to do this for them.

ISKCON basically, without saying it, proclaiming it, or advertising it, is saying:

“An aspiring disciple, who wants a guru, is not qualified to choose a guru on the basis of sastric, (scriptural), injunctions. Therefore, an aspiring disciple can choose a guru solely on the basis of “sentimental criteria”.

Or it can be characterized in this way.

“Oh! Prabhu! You do not have to worry about what is a bona-fide guru, or who can be guru. You do not need to be concerned about that, because we, the GBC, HAVE DECIDED FOR YOU. Furthermore, according to your sentimental, and non-verifiable criteria; you can choose from this list of approved gurus. You just have to choose the one that fancies your whatever sentimental reason, or reasons are.”

It has been shown, by Srila Prabhupada’s own words, that choosing a guru is absolutely and solely the responsibility of the individual. Srila Prabhupada even informs us of the advice of Sri Jiva Gosvami, who says that one should not accept a spiritual master in terms of hereditary, or customary social and ecclesiastical conventions.

It is amazing that Srila Prabhupada had warned us about the bogus system of selecting a guru, that ISKCON has adopted. You have to have a question on you mind at this point. Could it be,

“Why has the GBC of ISKCON disregarded and not follow these instructions from Srila Prabhupada and Srila Jiva Gosvami?”

This blatant disregard of Srila Prabhupada’s advice, instructions, and orders, what to speak of deliberate disregard of the advice of Srila Jiva Gosvami, is devastating. The only reason that a member in ISKCON will select a guru by this ecclesiastical convention, is that they do not read nor study, Srila Prabhupada’s books, and lectures, carefully. Moreover, the GBC obviously has some sinister Personal Ambition agenda. Otherwise, why they blatantly disregarded Srila Prabhupada’s and Srila Jiva Gosvami’s instructions?

The GBC, the temple presidents, sannyasis, and gurus who have been selected by ecclesiastical convention, and the ordinary members of ISKCON, who support these leaders, are all colluding in maintaining this practice. Knowing or un-knowing, this offence is known as the mad-elephant.

LET’S SEE WHAT ELSE SRILA PRABHUPADA HAD TO SAY ABOUT “RUBBER-STAMPING”.

ROOM CONVERSATION — APRIL 22, 1977, BOMBAY:

Prabhupada: “No, you become guru, but you must be qualified first of all. Then you become.”

Tamala Krishna: “Oh, that kind of complaint was there.”

Prabhupada: “Did you know that?”

Tamala Krishna: “Yeah, I heard that, yeah.”

Prabhupada: “What is the use of producing some rascal guru?”

Tamala Krishna: “Well, I have studied myself and all of your disciples, and its clear fact that we are all conditioned souls, so we cannot be guru. Maybe one day it may be possible...”

[Comment: Note that Tamala Krishna said about 6 months prior to the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada that he and all the other disciples, are conditioned souls and cannot be guru. Nevertheless, he and 10 other unscrupulous persons commandeered Srila Prabhupada’s Krishna consciousness Movement. Moreover, very soon after his disappearance, in early 1978. these 11 swindlers declared themselves as fully qualified gurus and Uttama-adhikari. They instantly, in just 10 months went from “conditioned soul” to qualified “gurus”. Srila Prabhupada said,

“You become guru, but you must be qualified first of all. Then you become.”

These 11 charlatans must have inferred this to mean that a GBC resolution, of conditioned souls, can make them qualified gurus. There was a 12thCBC and sannaysi, a personal friend of mine, who personally informed me, that he was approached by two of these eleven, with the specific reason of having him join the hi-jacking of ISKCON. He refused, and said that he would not have anything to do with such a scheme. Asking them why they are doing this, one of them replied,

“It is because of the Money”, “Prabhu”!

[End of Comment]

Prabhupada: “Hm.”

Tamala Krishna: “...but not now.”

Prabhupada: “Yes. I shall choose some guru. I shall say, “Now you become acharya. You become authorized.” I am waiting for that. You become all acharya. I retire completely. But the training must be complete.

Tamala Krishna: “The process of purification must be there.”

Prabhupada: “Oh, yes, must be there. Caitanya Mahaprabhu wants that. [Caitanya-caritamrita-Madhya-lila 7.128: ‘You become guru.’ (laughs) But be qualified. Little thing, strictly follower...”

[Comment: Why would the disciples of Srila Prabhupada, attending this conversation, “LAUGH”? The reason they laughed is that all of Srila Prabhupada disciples, understood that they were not qualified to be Guru like Srila Prabhupada himself.]

Tamala Krishna: “Not Rubber Stamp.”

Prabhupada: “Then you'll not be effective. You can cheat, but it will not be effective.. Just see our Gaudiya Matha. Everyone wanted to become guru, and a small temple and “guru.” What kind of guru? No publication, no preaching, simply bring some foodstuff.”

In the early years after Srila Prabhupada’s departure, many disciples organized and protested what the GBC did. There were essays and papers written, and meetings that addressed this issue of an unauthorized Guru protocol. What was the result of many years of such protest, and argument, you may ask?

The answer is,.

“The leaders of this protesting movement, were by GBC vote; rubber-stamped gurus, as well. Hence, without leaders, this protesting movement, dissipated like a ‘fart’ in the wind.”

ISKCON Leaders "Dismantling" Child Protection. (VIDEO) 05 12 24

Happy Mother's Day!

PADA: The ISKCON child protection office (CPO) is "being dismantled." All that after many years of "interfering with the CPO rulings." All that -- after the ISKCON GBC have broken promise after promise to help build a strong CPO. And now they have made an alleged internal CPO -- which is fully under the control of the GBC, and has no independent capacity. OK we told ya they are corrupt all along, and they are just proving that -- again.

A GBC guru-ite wrote to tell me I am not following the tradition. And "the tradition" is -- we find a "devotee in good standing" and we place his photo on our temple and home altars and make bhogha offerings to that person. Ummm, what?

Where in our tradition do we make bhogha offerings to conditioned souls who are allegedly in good standing. And if they are part of the dismantling of the CPO process, how are they in good standing? So then he said -- he is done discussing with me, well sure, there is no good explanation for where this is found in our tradition.

Sorry, we do not worship the photo of Pastor Bob or the senior church elders in good standing, we worship the acharya -- like Jesus. Nobody with any sense is going to place a photo of Pastor Bob on their home of church altar and worship a person "in good standing." Did I forget to mention most of their gurus in good standing subsequently fell down?

Another devotee sent me a series of photos of various GBC gurus taken over the years of them -- hugging, evidently kissing in one photo, holding hands, and generally looking overly friendly. He asked me "are most of them gay"? Well yeah, that is a good question on the minds of more and more people.

Meanwhile someone sent me an advert that Mathura Pati is making to fund raise, and the person sending me the ad said, he is going to tell everyone else to boycott that program -- and do not send them anything.

Mathura Pati seems to have made himself look a little silly by his promoting and supporting Bhakta das and Saint Radhanath, ok the Bhakti Pedo Pada program. Yeah, so this devotee said -- Mathura Pati is obviously with the Saint Radhanath's hugging and kissing guru's program, wonder what his real agenda is?

Anyway, these CPO reform troopers are still on the job of addressing the ISKCON child abuse issue, and we are glad they are on it! Good job. The GBC sued these folks to try to shut them down, and that shows how much interest they have in actually reforming and correcting. Yup. We just need to expose em' more and more! You go guys -- and gals!

Who is Guru? (Gargamuni dasa) 05 11 24

Krishna is the Adi guru -- or original guru

=============

==============

My thanks to Gargamuni Das Prabhu for this Post...

Who is Guru??--What are the Qualifications??--

Some persons are asking my opinion on ''female gurus in Iskcon''. The fact is we're not to have personal opinions in KC. We follow Guru, Shastra, Sadhu [Predesessor Acharayas]. The Real Question is What are the Qualifications for Being a Guru whether Male or Female. HDGSP has given us these qualifications in His books and by His perfect example and by understanding these qualifications we will no longer be bewildered by understanding Who is Guru?

HDGSP states---

One should not become a spiritual master unless he has attained the platform of uttama-adhikārī. A neophyte Vaiṣṇava or a Vaiṣṇava situated on the intermediate platform can also accept disciples, but such disciples must be on the same platform, and it should be understood that they cannot advance very well toward the ultimate goal of life under his insufficient guidance. Therefore a disciple should be careful to accept an uttama-adhikārī as a spiritual master. NOI 5

Real guru would not talk differently. Some guru says that "In my opinion, you should like this," and some guru will say, "In my opinion you'll do this" -- they are not guru; they are all rascals. Guru has no "own opinion." Guru has got only one opinion, the same opinion which was expressed by Krsna, Vyasadeva or Narada or Arjuna or Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu or the Gosvamis. You'll find the same thing.

Five thousand years ago, Lord Sri Krsna spoke Bhagavad-gita and Vyasadeva wrote it, recorded it. Vyasadeva does not say that "It is my opinion." Vyasadeva writes, sri bhagavan uvaca: "Whatever writing, it is spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead." He's not giving his own opinion. Sri bhagavan uvaca. Therefore he is guru. He is not misinterpreting the words of Krsna.

He's giving as it is. Just like a bearer, peon. Somebody has written you letter, the peon has got the letter. It does not mean he has to correct it or edit it or addition . No. He'll present it. That is his duty. Then he is guru. He's honest. Similarly, guru cannot be two. Mind that. The person may be different, but the message is the same. Therefore guru is one.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Lecture, "What is a Guru?" -- August 22, 1973, London
Five thousand years or five millions of years, what was spoken by the supreme God or guru, the present guru also will say the same thing. That is guru. That is bona fide guru. Otherwise, he's not guru. Simple definition. Guru cannot change any word of the predecessor.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Lecture, "What is a Guru?" -- August 22, 1973, London
So this is the process of guru. You cannot disobey the previous acarya or guru. No. You have to repeat the same thing. Not research. Sometimes rascals come, that "You are speaking the same thing. Why don't you speak something new by research work?" We say that we have no intelligence; we cannot make any research. [Cc. Adi 7.71].

Caitanya Mahaprabhu said that "My Guru Maharaja saw Me a great fool number one." So one who remains a great fool number one before his guru, he is guru. And one who says that "I'm advanced so much that I can speak better than my guru," then he's rascal. This is the process.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Lecture, "What is a Guru?" -- August 22, 1973, London
When Krsna sees that a living entity is very anxious to understand Him or to revive his Krsna consciousness, then Krsna gives him all opportunity, especially by manifesting Himself as the spiritual master. The spiritual master is therefore Krsna's manifestation, Krsna's mercy manifestation to help a person to develop his Krsna consciousness. From within He's helping. Therefore He's called caitya-guru, and from without, He sends His representative to help how to become advanced in Krsna consciousness.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Sri Vyasa-puja Lecture -- August 22, 1973, London
But if you simply present whatever you have heard from your spiritual master, it is very easy. If you want to become overintelligent, to present something, to interpret something, whatever over you have heard from your spiritual master you can make some further addition, alteration, then you'll spoil whole thing. Then you'll spoil whole thing.

Don't make addition or alteration. Simply present as it is. Therefore we have begun Bhagavad-gita As It Is. Don't try to become over spiritual master. Then you'll spoil. Remain always a servant of your spiritual master and present the thing as you have heard; you'll be spiritual master. This is secret. You should know it. Don't try to become overintelligent. That will spoil it.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Sri Vyasa-puja Lecture -- August 22, 1973, London
"Whatever I say by My order, you become a spiritual master." Caitanya Mahaprabhu. So one may be very illiterate, no education or no scholarship, may not be born in brahmana family, or may not be a sannyasi. There are so many qualification. But one may not have all these qualification, he may be rascal number one, but still he can become spiritual master. How? As Krsna says, as Caitanya Mahaprabhu says, if you follow, then you become spiritual master. One may be rascal number one from material estimation, but if he simply strictly follows whatever is said by Caitanya Mahaprabhu or His representative spiritual master, then he becomes a guru.

So it is not very difficult. One may not think that "I am not qualified to become guru." No, you are qualified if you follow strictly the parampara system. Then you are qualified. That's all. Caitanya Mahaprabhu says, "Don't feel any difficulty." Because as spiritual master, what you have to do? [Cc. Madhya 7.128]. Whomever you meet, you simply speak to him the instruction which Krsna gives.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Sri Vyasa-puja Lecture -- August 22, 1973, London
And if you cannot do anything, simply come and offer your obeisances: "My dear Lord Krsna, I am so poor, so unfortunate, I cannot do all these things, but I offer my humble obeisances unto Your lotus feet." That much also. If you do this, you become spiritual master.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Sri Vyasa-puja Lecture -- August 22, 1973, London
So I hope that all of you, men, women, boys and girls, become spiritual master and follow this principle. Spiritual master -- simply, sincerely, follow the principles and speak to the general public. Then Krsna immediately becomes your favorite. Krsna does not become your favorite; you become Krsna's favorite.

Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita, [Bg. 18.69]: "One who is doing this humble service of preaching work, Krsna consciousness, nobody is dearer than him to Me." So if you want to become recognized by Krsna very quickly, you take up this process of becoming spiritual master, present the Bhagavad-gita as it is, your life is perfect.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Sri Vyasa-puja Lecture -- August 22, 1973, London
The gurus from nature's study are accepted as such on the principle that an elevated person in Krishna Consciousness does not accept anyone as disciple, but he accepts everyone as expansion of his guru. That is very high position, called Maha-bhagavata. Just like Radharani, sometimes thinks a subordinate of hers as her teacher, to understand devotion of Krishna. A person who is liberated acharya and guru cannot commit any mistake, but there are persons who are less qualified or not liberated, but still can act as guru and acharya by strictly following the disciplic succession.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Letter to: Janardana -- New York 26 April, 1968
Guru means Krsna's representative. Not that everyone can be guru.
>>> Ref. VedaBase => Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.7.43 -- October 3, 1976, Vrndavana

The conclusion is that an empowered spiritual master is authorized by Krsna and his own guru and should therefore be considered as good as the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself. That is the verdict of Visvanatha Cakravarti. An authorized spiritual master is as good as Hari, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As Hari is free to act as He likes, the empowered spiritual master is also free. As Hari is not subject to mundane rules and regulations, the spiritual master empowered by Him is also not subject.

An authorized spiritual master empowered by Krsna can spread the glories of the holy name of the Lord, for he has power of attorney from the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In the mundane world, anyone possessing his master's power of attorney can act on behalf of his master. Similarly, a spiritual master empowered by Krsna through his own bona fide spiritual master should be considered as good as the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Madhya 10.136

A bona fide spiritual master does not mention anything not mentioned in the authorized scriptures. Ordinary people have to follow the instructions of sadhu, sastra and guru. Those statements made in the sastras and those made by the bona fide sadhu or guru cannot differ from one another.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => SB 4.16.1
And without any learning, how become a guru? That is going on. Everyone is self-made guru. That has to be stopped.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Evening Darsana -- May 12, 1977, Rishikesh
Guru cannot be self-made. No. There is no such single instance throughout the whole Vedic literature. And nowadays, so many rascals, they are becoming guru without any authority. That is not guru. You must be authorized. As soon as the parampara is lost, immediately finished. The spiritual potency finished. You can dress like a guru, you can talk big, big words, but it will never be effective.
So these are the science.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.9.7 -- February 27, 1977, Mayapur
So those who are fixed up in the words of guru, so "Guru has ordered me to do it. Oh, that is my life. I do not know whether I will be promoted to heaven or hell. It doesn't matter. I shall execute."That is the secret. Then he is sure to be successful. This is the secret.

>>> Ref. VedaBase => Morning Walk -- April 2, 1974, Bombay

So my dear prabhus HDGSP gave us the secret of success whether we follow the order or manufacture the order--you prabhus have to decide who is guru and who is self-appointed. Myself I am absolutely not bewildered who is real guru! The above thoughts of HDGSP is but a teeny fraction of my folder on this subject who is guru? - - your servant in the service of HDGSP---gargamuni das

Why the Ritviks are still wrong (VIDEO) 05 10 24

If you love Me,
that is also loving yourself.

Hare Krsna!

Gopal Krishna was in charge of New Delhi Temple, and Krishna Balaram Temple-- plus he had a leverage on Ahmedabad Temple where Yasomatinandan TP was there. So I wonder---- WHO is running the show now?

Another interesting thing--- is----on his "samadhi" Youtube did not have hardly much of comments there.

Hare Krsna! MRD

PADA: Someone was saying that the departure of the big ISKCON guru Gopal Krishna has created a power vacuum in the GBC system, and they are worried some of these folks will now join the ritviks. And the ritviks have a big program in India, managed by Madhu Pandit. So it is a threat to their regime. I am not sure if this was a coincidence, but these guys are discussing the ritvik issue.

There is a lot of "evidence" being promoted herein that the May 28th tape appointed some successors, either 11 or others. But no successors are named on the tape. The May tape was also not distributed, until Sulochana got a copy in 1984. And he was terminated just after he released it.

Norman Perle's professional forensics says the May tape is spliced. But the real question is, does Srila Prabhupada want conditioned souls to be worshiped as: Krishna's successors and acharyas; and take karma; and be worshiped with Vyasa poojas; as be viewed as assistants of the gopis -- and so on?

Nope!

He never said one or eleven conditioned souls should be worshiped as acharyas. There is no tape or evidence he ever said that. What he does say is, do NOT make conditioned souls into acharyas EVER, or there will be mayhem and chaos, Gaudiya Math pt. II.

Bhakti Vikas also complains he is losing followers over the child abuse issue. So it looks like their history is catching up. Gopal Krishna would fly into California, stay here for a few hours at the temple, initiate two people, and then fly back to India and have no real contact with "his disciples."

He was not giving "living guidance" to hardly any of them. It was and is a scam to make a few people rich, and be worshiped as good as God, when they are not. Anyway, this discussion of the May tape does not show when and where and how anyone was appointed as a successor. Ever!

Even if they are going to be eventually "disciples of my disciples," no disciples are named and no order is given for anyone to be diksha gurus and take disciples now. He said "when" I give the order, "when" the training is complete, "when" is not now, and that is not an order to start now.

And moreover, conditioned souls cannot be diksha gurus, now or whenever. They fail to explain how a conditioned soul should be worshiped as the acharya. And they try to make it look like Prabhupada could not distinguish between conditioned souls and pure souls, so he wrongly appointed conditioned souls as acharyas. That is not helping the situation, that makes it worse and causes more confusion.

KKD: If you’re fed up with all the politics in ISKCON, you have a choice to shift to a non-political environment. Are you afraid to make the move because you vowed never to ‘leave’ the mission? Did you vow to stay with what promotes Krishna conscious values or that environment rife with politics?

Shifting from a political environment is not the same as shifting from ISKCON. You’ll shift from the politics, not that which promotes Krishna conscious values. If we apply deeper thoughts to this matter, no one can ‘leave’ what one originally intended to join, full of promise, potential, inspiration and spiritual growth. This stays with you after you leave the politics.

If you know the distinction between real values and messy politics dressed as spirituality, you’ll feel less guilty about breaking whatever ‘loyalty’ vows you’ve made. Loyalty is meant for God consciousness that cares for all, beyond politics.
So what did you pledge your loyalty to? If you’ve been toying with these thoughts and can’t make the move to freer situations, the constant institutional loyalty reminders have a tight grip over you. Are you happy in it? Do you feel trapped? If these restrictions hold you back, they are not what you signed up for. It’s freedom or unhealthy spiritual bondage. At least think about it very seriously.

Unity / Malati / Gopal Krishna / Violence 05 09 24

Ex-gurukulis:
Gopal Krishna is gone. The end.

UNITING THE PRABHUPADANUGAS UPDATE

PADA: Prabhu, with all due respect simply saying my statements are not true does not help me fix anything. I need to know which specific articles are not correct, and what needs to be changed specifically. I change stuff all the time, adding, deleting, making corrections and so on. Unfortunately, in the case of Mathura Pati, a mutual friend of both of us told me -- I am 100% correct -- he is in fact promoting Bhakta das, who is a cheer leader of Radhanath.

And he says Mathura Pati for certain knows and agrees that Bhakta das is a cheer leader of these GBC guru folks like Radhanath. And he says the only reason Mukunda UK / HKC Jaipur / Prahlad das / Mathura Pati promote Bhakta das is -- he opposes PADA.

OK so they have to surrender to the corrupt and criminal program of selling designer drugs -- that can cause abortions; being arrested for child porn; cavorting with Thai bar girls (who might be minors), promoting the Saint Radhanath / Bhakti pedo pada in samadhi program, the Auschwitz for kids program etc., all so they can oppose PADA.

M Dasi says -- that means -- they cannot find any honorable devotees to defend their pedo guru program. Agreed. As M Dasi says, they have found their home, and Auschwitz is their home.

They want to take us back to Auschwitz - head and not back to Godhead. Yep, M Dasi says -- PADA editor should feel highly honored, because this proves -- they cannot find any honorable devotees to defend their position, so they have to surrender to and compromise with the Bhakti Pedo pada program. And yes, their program has everything to do with mass molesting and murders.

In other words, I am getting more confirmation, that my story was correct in the first place. In any case, if you or anyone else has some verified evidence that any articles on my blog are not accurate, I will gladly fix them. I am not perfect and do make mistakes, that is true, but if I don't know which mistakes need to be corrected, and why -- I cannot correct anything.

In this case, I am getting evidence that is the reverse, it is confirming what I said. I have been pointing out that Bhakta is with the GBC folks for over ten years now, and actually he ran off to the Gaudiya Matha in the 1980s, so it is well known publicly already.

Bhakta das is not a person any of the sincere Prabhupadanugas will ever accept as any type of authority, he says the ritviks are bogus and he is not with us. So let me know what needs to be fixed and I will fix it, if there is verified info that shows a change is needed. Jayate. ys pd

MALATI GLORIFIES GOPAL KRISHNA

MALATI DASI: That moment when the salt fully envelopes the final physical visage
but still continues, bag after bag, mixing with random flower petals and love. Now the earth in returning to its place filling the large remaining hole from where it had been temporarily removed to make a space to recieve its glorious occupant ... je anilo, by now a familiar lament.

PADA: Someone send me a clip of some ex-gurukulis having a discussion, and it said: "Gopal Krishna is gone. The end." And there was a bunch of smiley face comments. Hee hee, they despise the man for helping orchestrate the child abuse program in India. He is not going to be in the je anilo category, he is going down to the lower regions.

=================

GOPAL KRISHNA WAS A FOLLOWER OF KIRTANANANDA

These are facts concerning personal ambition in the Iskcon group. Please listen to the reading of Gopal Krishna’s last will to get more insights into to his method of operation. It is very interesting to hear his last requests.

By hearing his requests to his followers astute Prabhupada disciples will understand his reasoning as a fake diksa guru.
Please note I was personally involved in promoting him to zonal acharya due to the zonal guru system back then that affected all of us after Prabhupada’s departure on November 1977.

Gaudiya prabhu was present after his sanyasis initiation and heard him ask Keith Ham when can I become a diksa guru. Some devotees are active foolish and Prabhupada told us they are the most dangerous.

He is one of the most despised persons ever to serve in Canada as gbc and he destroyed the mission here due to his misunderstanding of Prabhupada’s teachings and misleading guidance to others that naively followed him. He was a follower of Keith Ham. That should reveal where he was at philosophically.

We are trying to save Prabhupadas legacy and not minimize his position in his vani incarnation. Gopal refers to our guru as a siksa guru and all of them as diksa uttama adhikari. It’s a total fraud and the geatest sin to protect Prabhupada’s legacy.

He also printed millions of changed books to support the gbc mission of expanding their unauthorized elected guru system. Further here is more information on his real behavior not his pretending to be a pure devotee of Krishna.

“I was present at Gopal Krishna's sannyasa initiation ceremony at New Vrindaban. Gopal Krishna asked Kirtanananda Swami, Prabhupada's first and foremost sannyasi, to give him sannyasa initiation.

I remember some of Gopal Krishna Maharaja's visits to New Vrindaban. He seemed to be always seemed to admire and be on friendly terms with Kirtanananda Swami, although after Gopal Krishna Swami's visits, during darshans while Bhaktipada sat in the living room in his house across from the Palace, I heard Bhaktipada make quite a few negative comments about Gopal Krishna.

A few days after Bhaktipada's death in October 2011, Gopal Krishna, in the company of Radhanath Swami, came to the Mohini Gosala cow shed in Vrindaban, India, and offered prostrate obeisances in the dust to his departed godbrother.”

Hrishikesa dasa

Birds of the same feather flock together and live in a compromised state of deception due to personal ambition. V DASA

Anon dasa:

UNSPEAKABLE VIOLENCE

These Iskcon leaders are responsible for the spiritual Master being poisoned, and responsible for so many children being abused . They even had the audacity to change his books and steal the lords assets and make themselves gurus. Now they pretend to be saints . This is unspeakable violence.

Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Madhya - Lila Ch. 24 TEXT 272
nārada kahe,--"vyādha, ei nā haya āścarya
hari-bhaktye hiṁsā-śūnya haya sādhu-varya

SYNONYMS

nārada kahe—Nārada Muni said; vyādha—my dear hunter; ei nā āścarya—this is not wonderful for you; hari-bhaktye—by advancement in devotional service; hiṁsā-śūnya haya—one becomes nonviolent and nonenvious; sādhu-varya—thus one becomes the best of honest gentlemen.
TRANSLATION
"Nārada Muni said, 'My dear hunter, such behavior is not at all astonishing. A man in devotional service is automatically nonviolent. He is the best of gentlemen.

PURPORT

In this verse the word sādhu-varya means "the best of gentlemen." At the present moment there are many so-called gentlemen who are expert in killing animals and birds. Nonetheless, these so-called gentlemen profess a type of religion that strictly prohibits killing. According to Nārada Muni and Vedic culture, animal killers are not even gentlemen, to say nothing of being religious men.

A religious person, a devotee of the Lord, must be nonviolent. Such is the nature of a religious person. It is contradictory to be violent and at the same time call oneself a religious person. Such hypocrisy is not approved by Nārada Muni and the disciplic succession.

Prabhupada and Jesus: attacked by their own followers (VIDEO)

They just cannot seem to be able to avoid this issue?
Are conditioned souls also resident of
Krishna loka acharyas?

PADA: Yep. When we introduced the "poison tapes" there were many doubters and naysayers. Even a number of so-called ritviks complained that we should not bring this issue forward because "we will lose our buildings." Others said "you will be dead within 24 hours if you release this" etc.

Well sorry, we went ahead anyway, and it looks like the idea that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned is gaining traction more each day. Of course, this is not something to be proud of, but it is the factual history of what happened. And then we were banned, the children were attacked, the temples were emptied out, the Hindu Bindu project started, and so on and so forth. It is all connected.

The Purely Prabhupada folks have some good ideas, however they are also saying the ritviks are bogus, which is what the GBC says. OK we should not promote Srila Prahbupada as the guru, who else should be the guru? They don't seem to have an answer. But they do get some of it, and this is an interesting analysis.

Uniting Prabhupadanugas / ISKCON History Project / Gopal K / Gaudiya Matha Influence

Uniting Prabhupadanugas

PADA: Well thanks prabhu. We should unite the Prabhupadanugas and I am evidently not always helping that effort. Well great! For starters, when we first wrote papers in the early 1980s we said -- this paper was penned by "The Prabhupadanugas." There were no other Prabhupadanugas at the time, it was just me writing things by myself at the outset.

So I am the person who coined and originated using the term "Prabhupadanugas." That means, other people have simply hi-jacked my coined and originated title, hee hee. If other people calling themselves Prabhupadanugas want to cooperate with the person who first used the title, then they need to cooperate with our group.

Meanwhile, I am not going to cooperate with people promoting folks like Bhakta das, and his saint Radhanath, or others who are against the ritviks, and who are thus not Prabhupadanugas. Everyone has to agree to certain points to be considered as a Prabhupadanuga.

And we already have hundreds, maybe thousands, who do agree with our main points already. So the people who complain I am not cooperating with the "Prabhupadanugas," first of all -- hi-jacked the title we originated. And they have to be following our original principles, siddhanta and aim and object of the original Prabhupadanuga process -- if they expect my cooperation.

But if they are hi-jacking the title we coined and originated -- and they are claiming I am not a Prabhupadanuga, they are not making much sense from square one. I am the originator of the use of the term and title "Prabhupadanugas" from square one, no one else was using it at the time, at least that I heard of.

Of course, anyone else is welcome to use that title, it is certainly not my copyright, but to say they are the original Prabhupadanugas -- and we are not -- is -- fake news. "We hi-jacked the title and now we claim it is ours." Well good luck with that pardner!

Same thing with the title of "ISKCON." Thousands and thousands of people now use the ISKCON title, but hardly any of them are following the principles, aim and object, and siddhanta of the actual ISKCON. Having a title does not mean a person is qualified to use it.

ISKCON History Project | Bolo Hari

PADA: The "history of ISKCON project" does not seem to have any interest in our PADA version of the history. There will be competing versions fighting for the legacy. I think the official ISKCON version is collapsing and disintegrating, and unfortunately these above folks are apparently using official GBC version more than ours. Initiated by Harikesh, oh oh. In any case, our version [Srila Prabhupada should have been continued as the sole acharya for ISKCON, and not a bunch of mini-me / acharya wanna be's] is being accepted more and more and we will win in the end. ys pd

======

PADA: Thanks prabhu for the question about Ekayani, Gopal's ex-wife. She wrote horrible things about her encounters with him, including that he tried to toss a heavy wooden chair at her belly when she was pregnant with her son. She said he was not giving her supplies, and he supposedly also said he would not mind if she got an abortion etc. Yep, horror story. Should not have been made a guru, no kidding. Kirtanananda did not call him "Goofball Krishna" for no good reason, they knew he was a goof and not a resident of Krishna loka.

GOPAL KRISHNA : The "Indian Guru"

The emergence of the current some 80-odd ISKCON 'Gurus' came about due to a two-part process. First the '11 zonal acaryas' appointed themselves as Gurus in 1978. Then in 1986, a new system was evolved whereby any Srila Prabhupada disciple could become a Guru provided they received a majority vote from the GBC.

This then led to the creation of dozens more Gurus over the years. What is forgotten is that there is an elite group which does not fall into either of these categories. In 1982, a new system was made up whereby any GBC member could also be made a Guru providing they got the votes of at least 3/4 of the GBC. This one-off system was especially created to accommodate one person, Gopal Krishna Maharaja, who insisted that some 'Indian' Gurus also be made.

The appropriate GBC resolutions are given below:

That all GBC be nominated as candidates to become initiating Gurus with the requirement that they receive the blessings of 3/4 (three fourths) of the GBC members present to begin their initiating role. There after the individual GBC men who are initiating will be responsible for recommending new candidates for initiating Guru from the godbrothers within their zone.

These names must then receive the blessings of 3/4 (three fourths) of the majority of the GBC present at the annual meeting for them to begin their initiating roles. The GBC shall prepare a paper elaborating this proposal

The following GBC members will take on the responsibilities of initiating Guru :
1. His Holiness Pancadravida Swami.
2. His Holiness Bhakti Swarup Damodar Swami.
3. His Holiness Gopal Krsna Goswami.

(1982, February 27th, GBC Resolutions 1 & 2)

Please note that apart from the 3 individuals mentioned, no other Gurus were ever made under this system.

Thus Gopal Krsna Maharaja is one of only 3 individuals who became a Guru by receiving a majority of his votes from the then current 11 'zonal acaryas'.

BTG MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES THE NEW GURUS

The first 1978 BTG announced the new gurus in just six lines, and did so without offering any details or evidence from Srila Prabhupada’s letters, directives, or tapes (such as the May 28 talks or July 9 Order):

“During his last months in this world, Srila Prabhupada selected eleven senior disciples to act as initiating gurus who could accept disciples after his disappearance. Thus, now that His Divine Grace has left us and gone to the eternal, spiritual world of Krishna, there shall be not just one leader but numerous gurus to carry on this tradition.” (p36)

Of course, this was the biggest lie ever. Srila Prabhupada only appointed ritvik representatives. Later the GBC even had to admit they lied, and they publicly apologized in 1999 for the harm they had caused to devotees and the society. But, in admitting their lie, they had already modified the lie, claiming that Srila Prabhupada had given the GBC absolute managerial and spiritual authority to do as they felt necessary, and in 1987 they created an unprecedented vote-approval system for falsely authorizing initiating gurus (a new hoax).

And the illegal original zonals that remained (5 only) were left with their ill-gotten guruship positions and went completely unpunished for their hijacking in 1978.

OBVIOUS QUESTIONS TO ASK ABOUT THE GURU APPOINTMENTS

After the Mar. 24, 1978 GBC announcement of successor acharyas, many doubts plagued some independent-thinking devotees:

(1) Why was the so-called guru selection or 'appointment' not announced by Srila Prabhupada himself during his manifest presence?

(2) Why did the GBC or the eleven “appointees” not announce publicly the appointment of gurus before Srila Prabhupada departed in Nov. 1977, or at least immediately afterwards, and why did they wait until the end of March 1978, remaining silent for over 4 months?

(3) Did the GBC wait until after Srila Prabhupada's departure so they would not be corrected by Srila Prabhupada?

(4) Why has this whole issue of Guru appointment and future initiations never been fully and thoroughly investigated by independent brahmanas or openly discussed in the devotee society?

(5) Why was no evidence from letters or tapes (or May 28, July 9) given to support their claim of appointed successor acharyas?

“Once they disobeyed their spiritual master’s instructions and embarked on the zonal-acharya diksha-guru course, they became lost in uncharted and unfamiliar waters. A catastrophic shipwreck was inevitable.” (Eleven Naked Emperors, Doktorski, p. 59)

As Gurukripa das asked: “If Srila Prabhupada had appointed these eleven as spiritual masters, why did they not start initiating at once? Because they all knew very well they were never appointed!”

BEGINNING OF CONTRADICTIONS AND ANOMALIES (see Ch. 10)

Thus BTG Vol. #13 No. 1/2 initiated an era of constant and complicating doctrinal and philosophical contradictions by the ISKCON GBC, which persist to the present day, many decades later. This BTG curiously contradicted their own announcement of Srila Prabhupada’s appointment of new gurus by simultaneously quoting Srila Prabhupada from late 1977: “It’s not that I’ll give an order: ‘Here is the next leader,’ Anyone who follows the previous leadership is a leader.”

So how did Srila Prabhupada appoint eleven successors and also say he did not choose the next leaders? The truth is that Srila Prabhupada actually did not appoint any successor gurus to initiate after his departure. Yet, BTG claims that Srila Prabhupada did appoint them as initiating gurus. From 1978 and on, ISKCON has continuously made conflicting statements on the guru and initiation issues, with inconsistencies and speculations, often retracting or revising positions, or never even explaining or justifying them. The anomalies have formed multiple layers, reaching levels of absurdity (see Vol. 6).

=================

PADA: Yep. We should never have worshiped conditioned souls as acharyas, as they did in the Gaudiya Matha. That is right on. Unfortunately, Rupanuga was a big supporter of the false 11 gurus, who all ran off to the Gaudiya Math in 19878. ys pd

ESSAY (www.rupanugadas.com)

“The history of all the trials and tribulations instigated by his Godbrothers will not be lost in the annals of time. Srila Prabhupada immortalized the true story in his letters, lectures and purports, indelible shastra, for everyone's education. He set the record straight for future followers and readers. For ex., he writes:

‘Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami, at the time of his passing away, ordered all of his disciples to work conjointly to preach the mission of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu all over the world. Later, however, some self-interested, foolish disciples disobeyed his orders. Each one of them wanted to become head of the mission, and they fought in the courts, neglecting the order of the spiritual master, and the entire mission was defeated. We are not proud of this; however, the truth must be explained. We believed in the words of our spiritual master and started in a humble way --in a helpless way --but due to the spiritual force of the order of the supreme authority, this movement has become successful." (CC Adi 7.95-6) [...]

“Srila Prabhupada had offered ample opportunity to his Godbrothers to cooperate with him and work conjointly, especially Sridhara Maharaja. [Many times] he tried to convince his Godbrother to be a partner in ISKCON. But Sridhara Maharaja maintained his concept of independence, remaining at arm's length, unable to make a meaningful agreement. [...]

“Finally, on Nov. 8, 1977, when he was about to depart, Srila Prabhupada, the emblem of Vaishnava humility, begged forgiveness for his offenses to his Godbrothers. As the master of Vaishnava etiquette, he knew well the custom that at the time of death the devotee should show regret for any offenses he may have committed knowingly or unknowingly. But the truth is, as Srila Prabhupada stated during a room conversation a few days before he disappeared, ‘I have never done anything inauspicious to anyone.’

Factually, it was his Godbrothers' opposing behavior which had been inauspicious. And when he said, ‘The war is over,’ he was simply saying that now that he was going, the war should stop. But that war was not Srila Prabhupada's war, it was a war declared and maintained by his Godbrothers and he didn't want the war continuing against his disciples after his departure.

“Near the end, Narayan Maharaja, a God-brother’s disciple, was employed by Srila Prabhupada as a messenger to his Godbrothers. The gist of the message was:

"Help, don't hinder them." That was it. He was not asking Narayan Maharaja or anyone else to instruct his disciples in the future on how to manage a worldwide preaching movement and he already instructed them on numerous occasions not to fight amongst themselves. He wanted Narayan Maharaja to assist in the arrangements for the upcoming samadhi ceremony and the requisite paraphernalia and rituals.

Srila Prabhupada, after the events of 1967, never instructed his disciples to accept guidance from his Godbrothers. Just the opposite. But he did mention to the GBC that if they reached an impasse on some technicality or philosophical point they could (not should) consult with Sridhara Maharaja, and he indicated no one else. Of course, it would be hard to imagine a philosophical question which could not be answered from Srila Prabhupada-vani.

“In any case, after Srila Prabhupada's disappearance, when his ISKCON was in chaotic condition, members of the Gaudiya Math encouraged and received ISKCON refugees with open arms, thereby attaining a temporary jolt from the infusion of preaching spirit already inculcated in those devotees by Srila Prabhupada.

"Sometimes some of those devotees say that the troubles in mainstream ISKCON are due to offenses to Sridhara Maharaja and / or other members of the Gaudiya Math. But the problems in mainstream ISKCON are actually due to the same cause that has been the bane of the Gaudiya Math's existence --neglect of the orders of the Founder-Acharya. Many of Srila Prabhupada's initiated disciples have left the jurisdiction of ‘mainstream’ ISKCON over the years since Srila Prabhupada's disappearance, most often for good reasons not to be delineated here.

“But leaving Srila Prabhupada himself is another thing and / or accepting another spiritual preceptor as equal to or greater than Srila Prabhupada is a great mistake, a valid excuse for which cannot be found moving hell or heaven. Generally, the Gaudiya Math's condescending attitude towards Srila Prabhupada has not changed, and they have attempted to create an artificial competition between Srila Prabhupada and Bhaktisiddhanta as to who is the last Acharya in the parampara. They consider Srila Bhaktisiddhanta to be the uncontested last great Acharya, to be presumably succeeded by all of his disciples (each of whom would be on the top of the list for their own disciples).

“Some see Srila Prabhupada and Sridhara Maharaja as the two equal successor Acharyas to Bhaktisiddhanta. One Srila Prabhupada disciple, who joined the Gaudiya Math early on, quotes Sridhara Maharaja: ‘Two eyes are better than one,’ but the implication is that by having both Prabhupada and Sridhara as equal guiding authorities, one can make better spiritual progress. And Sridhara M was still a 'living guru' at the time. But the analogy has serious flaws [...] Srila Prabhupada gives a nice example: another word for ‘swami’ is husband and when a wife is unfaithful to her swami she is considered a prostitute. Similarly for a disciple who is unfaithful to his spiritual master.

“To summarize and conclude, it was the great fault of the Gaudiya Math leaders that they could not recognize Srila Prabhupada's spiritual leadership. They could not adjust the fact that Abhaya Charan das became the ‘self-effulgent acharya’ Srila Bhaktisiddhanta predicted, and had emerged by word and deed as the obvious Acharya of them all, indeed of all the Vaishnavas and the whole world!

THIS WAS THE EIGHTH MAJOR ISKCON SCHISM

Although Srila Prabhupada had smashed the early 1970’s “gopi bhava” club in Los Angeles, the lesson was lost as the rasika guru and the focus on the intimate conjugal pastimes of the Lord was again taken up as though it was the ultimate program for success in spiritual life.

One who follows Srila Prabhupada’s clear instructions will not associate with his Godbrothers, or the Gaudiya Math, and will not trot out contradictory rationalizations to do so. Srila Prabhupada and his teachings are complete and need no supplementation, no other rasika bhakti teacher, lest consequences follow from disobeying the Acharya.

"There is nothing new to be said. Whatever I had to say, I have already said in my books. Now you must try to understand it and continue with your endeavors. Whether I am present or not does not matter." (SPConv May 17, 1977)

“Therefore, those who are in bodily consciousness and who desire sense gratification are forbidden to indulge in discussions of the transcendental pastimes of Sri Radha and Krishna.” (CC Adi 13.42)
