Texas Krishnas / ISKCON Jayadvaita Defends a Predator / Etc. 04 09 24

Pedophile pooja in Texas

https://radhakalachandji.org/?

Texas Krishnas, Inc. - GuideStar Profile

The registered leader is Vinod Patel

A known predator named Keshava Bharti was being worshiped in Texas.

PADA: Some of the Dallas Texas Krishnas have come out to complain that our [ritvik] people are not following Rupanuga's "living gurus." But Rupanuga supported the worship of the GBC's assorted homosexuals, pedophiles, predators, drunks, debauchees, porno swamis, and people who orchestrate murders -- as God's gurus / acharyas / representatives / Jesus-like messiahs / successors. And the result is -- that thousands of devotees were banned, allegedly thousands of children were molested, some devotees were beaten, and some dissenters were assassinated.

And Rupanuga has simply been one of the enforcers in the "enforced cult ritualistic worship of homosexuals and pedophiles as God's successors regime."
Which is why -- we had to have his program sued in Dallas Texas after 1986, and again sued for $400,000,000 in 1997.

And they still have photos of their pedophile messiahs on the altars there in Texas, like Lokanath swami. And this is the same problem we had with the India ICC, they said we Westerners are mlecchas. Well yeah, we worship Jesus, which they say is the bogus ritvik idea, evidently because worshipers of Jesus are deviants who do not worship their homosexual and pedophile messiahs process.

Did I forget to mention, children victims of your guys process have committed suicide? Sorry, worship of deviants is a deviation, it is not part of Vedic culture. And one of my friends went to a program where a bunch of "Hindus" still worship Kirtanananda. Oh boy, what a mess the GBC has made here! It is going to take generations to untangle this mess. But someone should investigate if promoting pedophiles as messiahs is part of the charter of the Texas Krishna's charity. ys pd

JAYADVAITA SWAMI SUPPORTING ANOTHER CHILD ABUSER

Jayadvaita Swami has a history of supporting child abusers, including Dhanurdhara, Anirdesya Vapu, and Sri Galim. Dhanurdhara is the most named child abuser in ISKCON’s child abuse bankruptcy settlement, Anirdesya Vapu (fka Bhaktividya Purna Swami) is the longest running child abuser in ISKCON’s history, and Sri Galim is a serial child rapist.

Below is a letter written by Jayadvaita Swami pleading on behalf of his friend Kesava Bharati, another child abuser.

One of Jayadvaita Swami’s gripes was that the statement from Kesava Bharati’s victim was written in third person. What Jayadvaita Swami seems unaware of is that both the victim and Kesava Bharati each had a representative working with the ISKCON Child Protection Office during the investigation. But Jayadvaita Swami’s concern was that the victim had a representative.

Jayadvaita Swami asked if the victim underwent a “psychological review.” The question should be, was Kesava Bharati psychologically reviewed when he was re-appointed as sannyasi (second time) and later guru, after he was caught spending sankirtan money on prostitutes over many years? [Evidently he had caught a venereal disease in the process].

The sum of Jayadvaita Swami's letter was how “offended” he was that he and his godbrothers were questioned about their support for a child abuser.

From Kesava Bharati’s CPO decision: “This panel would also like to highlight that many of KBdG’s godbrothers and other senior devotees wrote character references for him, some even claiming that he could “never” have carried out any child abuse. This goes to show that the culture of defending and protecting one’s friend still exists in our society, and unless leaders receive training and have an understanding of child abuse, they will continue to blindly support, protect, and defend those who have had serious allegations made against them. It should be mandatory for all GBCs and leaders to have ongoing child protection training.”

Daksina Devi Dasi, Case manager

Kamalesh Krishna Dasa, Director, International Child Protection Office

Dear Kamalesh Krishna Dasa and Daksina Devi,

I am writing to you regarding one aspect of the CPO’s decision in the case of Kesava Bharati Dasa Goswami. I here leave aside various features I regard as ill considered, reckless, pseudo-judicial, and otherwise outrageous and focus on one paragraph:

This panel would also like to highlight that many of KBdG’s godbrothers and other senior devotees wrote character references for him, some even claiming that he could “never” have carried out any child abuse. This goes to show that the culture of defending and protecting one’s friend still exists in our society, and unless leaders receive training and have an understanding of child abuse, they will continue to blindly support, protect, and defend those who have had serious allegations made against them. It should be mandatory for all GBCs and leaders to have ongoing child protection training.

To deal with the case at hand, you didn’t need to say that. Instead of using a supposed judicial decision as a soapbox for your views on ISKCON leaders, you could better have devoted the space to answering questions directly relevant to deciding the case, like:

Was there anyone who corroborrated the professed victim’s testimony?

Was the professed victim asked to undergo a psychological review to help assess the reliability of her testimony? And if not, why not?

You wrote that the CPO “received one statement from the victim.” Is it true, as rumored, that this statement is written in third person? And if so, how then does it deserve to be called a “statement from the victim”?

Is it true, as you wrote, that the alleged perpetrator “admitted to his guilt” for the allegations made (listed by you as 1 through 10)? Or are you being—how can I say this delicately?—less than precise?

But as I said, let me leave such questions for some other occasion and return to the paragraph at hand. Several senior devotees submitted character references for Kesava Bharati Maharaja, and by having done so they “show that the culture of defending and protecting one’s friend still exists in our society.”

From this it seems clear you believe that you know the motive that prompted these senior devotees to write. It’s not that they had anything of worth to say about the man’s character. Rather, they were “defending and protecting” their friend.

What’s more, they somehow thought it was okay “to blindly support, protect, and defend those who have had serious allegations made against them.”

Notice, not only do leaders need training to help them keep from supporting child abusers. They also need training to warn them off from supporting anyone even alleged to have committed child abuse.

Moreover, those leaders—somehow you know—offered their support blindly.

Since I am one of the leaders on record as having offered such a statement of support, I am among those at whom your statement is personally directed. I know who two or three of the other leaders are—senior, advanced Vaisnavas for whom I have great admiration and respect. And I have to suppose that your statement is also directed at other godbrothers of mine whom I respect.

And so: I wish to report to you that I am personally offended by your statement. I am offended by those who drafted it and especially by those who signed it. In my view, you have also offended my godbrothers at whom your statement is directed, and I take offense at this even more.

I may not be worthy of being regarded as a Vaisnava, but my godbrothers certainly are. So you may apologize if you wish. But in that case please let me know why we should refrain from adopting a policy of zero tolerance towards devotees who recklessly offend Vaisnavas in the name of so-called judicial proceedings.

Thank you.

Yours in Srila Prabhupada’s service,
Jayadvaita Swami

PS: Daksina Devi, on October 5, 2023, I wrote to you that I accepted on good faith your explanation of why you wrongly seemed to have tried to dissuade me and other senior devotees from writing in support of Kesava Bharati Maharaja’s character. The paragraph quoted above makes clear where you stand on this matter. I therefore withdraw my willingness to believe (blindly, to use your word) that you acted in good faith.

PPS: Please make this letter a permanent part of the case file and confirm to me your having done so.

cc: Navina Krishna Dasa”

Note: Thank you to the GBC member who cares about the work of the ISKCON Child Protection Office, who shared this letter with me. While I am myself transparent and would like to see everyone be open and honest in their discussions, I can respect that some might wish to remain anonymous. I keep my sources confidential and do not reveal the identities of my sources, so that others know they can trust me in the future.
