DD: Lokanath and his people tried to sue for defamation. But there was no defamation. We informed people only what was already in the public domain - and ISKCON officially broadcast the same information to a broader circulation.I believe that the case was successfully disputed by our legal team primarily on jurisdictional grounds. Why should a court in India be able to dictate to overseas nationals who had broken no laws in India nor in their home countries - which anyway have different statutes regarding what constitutes defamation?
But initially the first judge that looked at the case gave Lokanath's legal team what they had asked for - a gag order - which our legal team advised us to comply with. So it took a little time to challenge - lightning speed when one considers how long some cases get dragged out for.
PADA: My thoughts exactly. How could a court in India decide if people in the USA were exercising their legal freedom of speech? Or if -- what was stated about Lokanath -- was either true or not true, since the incident took place here, and therefore the victim, the other parties and participants, are also from here? And the person who originally published Satya's letter is -- PADA, who also lives here.
It would seem that their case would have had to be filed in the USA, but then -- that would have produced a big can or worms -- if people like myself and others were asked to testify or produce affidavits. Yeah, a giant can of worms. Sadly, these GBC gurus and their goondas are often really aggressive in defending their deviated acharyas.
Suing the people who complained about Lokanath back fired in my opinion since, many people thought it was an over the top attack on innocent people bringing forward factual material. It makes Lokanath and his party look more and more like goondas and not sadhus. Anyway, the courts finally decided there was no merit to their case and it has been dissolved.
That means -- the original issue, that Lokanath molested a female child when she was only 11 years old, still stands as a factual complaint. And the Lokanath folks have done nothing to convince us otherwise. Of course, Lokanath is not the only deviant in their alleged guru parampara, there has been an overall problem of many of their gurus falling down into a variety of deviations.
PADA has a lot of experience dealing with the GBC's goonda tactics over the years, and they can make life very stressful and dangerous for "dissenters." And trying to attack innocent people discussing these issues is simply one more example of their odious tactics.
We are glad the court cleared this case off their docket and everyone can resume open discussion of these issues again. Again, attacking these people has simply back fired and made them look more goonda-ish, and has thus given more people ammunition to diminish the GBC authority. And in the end, all they did was draw even more attention to their deviation of promoting false gurus like Lokanath.

Thank you to the ISKCON Denver temple presidents who wrote a letter condemning child abuser Kesava Bharati being rewarded with free meals and lodging at the ISKCON Govardhan Palace after he was found guilty of child molestation by the ISKCON Child Protection Office.
“Dear devotees, Our obeisances to you.

Regarding GBC's request to allow Keshava Bharati residence at Govardhan ISKCON, sometimes referred to as Govardhan Palace:
Like the majority of devotees, we don't know the details of the circumstance and assume that those overseeing the case are wise, insightful, and competent.
From an outsider's view, which is the view of most devotees and the rest of the world, this decision appears to communicate less than sincere understanding about the effects of abuse, especially child sexual abuse, and preference to support and protect those who have severely perpetrated others.
Practically, KB could be accommodated somewhere, anywhere in the world---a cottage in a village, in a kutir in the backyard of grhastas, etc.---with a little effort by devotees that care about him including the GBC, and yet the GBC has chosen to put their effort in accommodating him in a palace in the holiest place in the world.
This is how the situation appears from an outsider's view. If we are serious about obtaining the heights of Bhakti, why are we not also advocating the healing potency of a visibly humbler position in the society of devotees, a method utilized by Lord Chaitanya, the most compassionate and merciful.
Child sexual abuse will continue to happen if a person who has committed child sexual abuse is given sannyasa, given the authority to be a part of parampara taking disciples, and given accomodation in the holiest place on the earth in a palace. Meanwhile, the abused child, also a devotee of the Lord, is now an adult, without a supporting position and prestige in the society of devotees, left to work with the trauma from being violated during the most vulnerable, impressionable phase of life.
Child sexual abuse and combat / war are the two main causes of PTSD, a concretely debilitating resultant condition. Hopefully the victim has resources—family, friends, time, money, professionals — to deal with the trauma so they can function in life to work a job, pay their rent for their own residence and meals, etc.
Last year we received a message written by Keshava Bharati himself regarding a young devotee temple resident whom we had been looking after since the time he arrived at the Denver temple seven years ago:
“This letter is to inform you that I have released [das] from his vows. He is no longer an initiated devotee. I tried my best to help him, and it seemed as though he was doing much better. But when he proposed a sexual affair with a guest in broad daylight in front of the temple, it became clear that he cannot control himself and is a potential predator. There is a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior at the [x] temple, and so I acted immediately, and he was put on a plane to Denver. The temple leaders were in shock when they heard what happened. I don't know if he is planning to go to the Denver Temple, but it is my duty to you to let you know what happened.”
More could be added about the above-mentioned situation and the dynamic we observed, but the point of this letter is not about Keshava Bharati. It is about how the ultimate managing authority in ISKCON [the GBC] is speaking through their actions and what those actions are communicating to the rest of the society of devotees and the world. From an inside perspective the decision may seem logical, reasonable, compassionate. From an outside perspective it communicates an entirely different message.

RE: WRITING PAPERS TO DEFEND THE GBC GURUS
PADA: Correct prabhu. People like Dayalu Nitai's HKC Jaipur's "senior man" Prahlad wrote papers against PADA, which were immediately re-sent back to me by the GBC's goonda folks. "See? Prahlad is right, he agrees with us pedophile guru club lovers." Umm no, Prahlad is not correct. Sulochana says, they are just boot lickers for the butt buggers.
OK. The GBC molester messiah folks love Prahlad's writings, which many believe means -- they are on the same team. And Mathura Pati wrote papers against PADA, which were immediately re-sent back to me by various GBC goonda's defender folks as well. OK, we know whose side they are on.
So yeah -- more and more people are saying to us -- these guys are in love with the pedophile guru's process, and that is why they are writing position papers to defend the molester messiahs project, because they are in bed with them. And some of these guys even said they "defeated PADA."
Really? OK our view is that child starving, beating and rapes has to be checked forthwith. Or at least attempts must be made to fix this. They defeated that view? I sincerely doubt that -- since 999.999 percent of the world population agrees with PADA, child abuse needs to be checked forthwith. Full stop period. No questions asked, never mind writing papers that are approved and favored by the pedo guru regimes' folks.
Yep. It is only various pedophile messiah's club folks and their hand maidens who argue with us on this point, and think that our view has been defeated. Nope. No ordinary Joe six pack citizen believes the PADA view has ever been defeated either. Sorry, these folks have only defeated themselves and made themselves look compromised with evil agendas.
But yeah, you might be correct. Since Ravindra quit writing papers for them, now these Prabhupadanuga EU guys have stepped forward to defend the pedo-ship. And someone else wrote to tell me -- Prabhupadanugas EU needs to be renamed "Pedo-anugas EU." Hee hee, well yup.
Anyway you are right, if they were on our side, they would not be writing papers that are being approved, agreed with, and circulated by the pedo guru club. That means they are on the wrong side, and probably have been all along, agreed. And yes, Kamsa also had his "brahmana scholars" writing papers to defend his worship and position, these defenders of deviants guys have always been around.
But have they defeated the PADA idea that child abuse and rapes need to be halted forthwith, or at least attempted to be fixed forthwith? Nope, they have not. And they never will in the next four hundred trillion kalpas. They have just implicated themselves in support for the evil regime, because the evil regime is circulating their materials to defend the evil regime.
