And we did sue them, and we did get the legal rights to original books. At that exact time Mukunda das (Mark Whitely) started to complain that PADA is a mad man fool, because we were getting the original books lawsuit organized.
Yep. There would be no legal rights for original books without that lawsuit. No one else ever sued the BBTI for the legal rights to these books, except us. So they were against having original books. Then later Prahlad finally wrote to tell me, OK they finally agreed, they are in favor of our original books.
But then they tried to take credit for getting original books, when they never lifted a finger get legal rights for original books, this is false. They just wanted to take credit for our work and our books.
So yes, we not only have regular shastra classes where we read original books, we have helped many thousands and thousands of others get those books. It makes no sense that us people who made the lawsuit for the original books are against the original books, as Mukunda now falsely claims?
The people who created the legal rights for original books, are against the original books? Hee hee, nice try. These people are simply upset we got the original books lawsuit done, and then they tried to hijack and take credit for our lawsuit and our books. It is called sour grapes.
We have to even give credit to crazy Hansadutta who helped us at the time, when these guys said I should not work with Hansadutta, so there would be no rights at all. They did not want us to have any original books rights at that time. So yes, they are turning history upside down. They are the people who opposed getting original books, we are the ones who wanted originals, and we still do.
Sorry, this is another history re-write attempt. In sum they did not want original books, and they did not want us to have the legal rights for original books. And they still have no plan to get the legal rights for original books, and they never will. ys pd

In 2022 the ISKCON community got a shocking glimpse into Sivaram Maharaj's stance on child protection, when his letter pleading that the GBCs arrange a life pension for BVP, the child abuser with the longest span of [abuse] activity in ISKCON. In 2011 Sivara Maharaj wrote to the GBC body to defend Lokanath's sexual assault of an 11 year old girl.
"KB’s admission has already been released via his CPO Decision, although not his exact words. On page 4 of Kesava Bharati’s CPO decision it states:
"The accused knew very well the gravity of his actions and has admitted that out of guilt for his actions, at one point in time was considering committing suicide by jumping into the ocean at Jagannatha Puri. The accused admitted to his guilt in his first response but later recanted.”
It's hard to argue for the innocence of a man that has confessed...
Somehow by Krsna’s arrangement I have become familiar with Sri Radhe dd’s,
Laksmi Moni dd’s and Kesava Bharati Gosvami’s cases. Last year about this time
I made my feelings known about SR’s case and my lack of faith in the current
ICPO, as well as in the GBC’s supervision of the ICPO as a body meant to
actually deliver justice to ISKCON’s members.
To make a long story short I lay my case before you:
My point to the receivers is this:
Up to now, you who bear responsibility in this matter have been doing so.
Will you continue in this way, or will you do the right thing and initiate a public investigation into the above allegations against the ICPO? I beg you to do so, for if you do not act now I believe that in time the truth will emerge.
In addition to investigating the ICPO, I request that you publicly suspend all the above three cases as well as any that bear the hallmark of the same methodology as outlined in the two attachments.

PADA: Bhakti Vikas swami's India ICC Bureau people wrote to tell me -- us mlecchas cannot understand Vedic culture -- evidently -- where people worship disciples of Andy Warhol, Timothy Leary, and they offer pooja to illicit sex with men, women and children as God's messiahs. Us mlecchas are not qualified enough to worship illicit sex, drugs, homosexuals, pedophiles, and sex with Taxi drivers in the dham? Sheesh!
Today I received a copy of another similar letter, where Sivaram Maharaj is lobbying for another 3 confirmed child abusers. Keshava Bharati, Laxmimoni and Sri Radhe.
Last year we found out that Kesava Bharati wrote a confession letter, where he admitted that he sexually abused a very young girl. From KBS's CPO report:

Laxmimoni holds the grim record of being the most notorious child abusers of girls in the entire history of ISKCON. Publicly, in Mayapur, Sivaram Swami claims that he will not get involved in Sri Radhe's case, because he claims to be neutral!
Behind closed doors, well, that's a different story!
Sri Radhe physically and emotionally tortured the girls placed in her care and enabled BVP to continue having access to children, long after knowing that he was abusing the students. It is interesting to note how Sivaram swami demands that this shameful email of his be kept strictly confidential, but asks for a public inquiry of the CPO.
As if the rot and corruption in ISKCON was to be found in the CPO! When was the last time that Sivaram swami lobbied the GBCs to offer protection to the victims of his friends? Maharaj closes his letter admonishing the GBCs that they will have to answer to Krishna and Srila Prabhupada for their actions...
I wonder if Sivaram Maharaj has considered how he will answer for his ongoing support of ISKCON's child abusers!?

As a member of ISKCON who was involved in its leadership/management for almost 50 years, I raise to you my concern of the legitimacy of the current Child Protection Office and its officers.

PADA: Don't let my letter get leaked! I look bad enough already.
Correct. 50 years of banning, beating, molesting, lawsuits and a few murders, and you were one of those in charge of the whole mess the whole time. Agreed.
I requested the same over a year ago. I appeal to you to organise an independent investigation of the ICPO with the intent of determining whether the allegations made by both members of ISKCON and accused abusers is valid or not.
Furthermore, until the completion of that ICPO investigation, I request that you suspend the decisions on the three cases mentioned below and others with similar, questionable procedure.

Attached you will find a short report from Saranagati dd, sent to the GBC-EC some five months back. Her critique of the flaws and apparent prejudice of the ICPO’s handling LM’s case are—not identical—but very similar to the flaws in KBDG’s and SR’s cases—and who knows which others.
My point to the receivers is this:
Will you allow injustices resulting in the destruction senior members’ lives take place before your very eyes just because you do not want to interfere in ICPO cases, or because you are afraid to speak against a vocal, abusive minority only interested in acting on allegations and not a comprehensive procedure of objective justice?
Up to now, you who bear responsibility in this matter have been doing so.
Will you continue in this way, or will you do the right thing and initiate a public investigation into the above allegations against the ICPO? I beg you to do so, for if you do not act now I believe that in time the truth will emerge.
And that truth is that the ICPO is not fulfilling its mandate, but is itself abusing justice by sometimes wrongly and at other times falsely charging members of the Society. One downside of such a disclosure will be that your reputations will be further tarnished—if that is possible. Moreover, it will be you who have to answer to Srila Prabhupada and Krsna for being remiss in protecting members who have given their lives to ISKCON.
In addition to investigating the ICPO, I request that you publicly suspend all the above three cases as well as any that bear the hallmark of the same methodology as outlined in the two attachments.
