PD: Kailash has said the Madhyam can be a diksha guru, but he never names "who" this alleged Madhyam is? Worse, ONLY the Uttama has the brahmana tejyas to burn off sins, not the Madhyam. The Madhyam will also be overwhelmed if he attempts to accumulate sins. Therefore Srila Prabhupada says the acharya must be a resident of Krishna loka, i.e. then he is protected by Krishna direct from accumulated sins etc.
*** I advocate waiting for the next self-effulgent acarya but following Srila Prabhupada as siksa guru all along.
PD: There are a lot of Christians who are also waiting for the second coming, I really do not see how that would be something Srila Prahbupada advocated? He wanted people to surrender to guru and Krishna now, and not wait for the second coming. Where is this second coming idea mentioned?
*** Real madhyamas are risky but bona fide to do "the initial duties of diksa" for those who take the risk. Are you criticizing Srila Bhaktisiddhanta?
PD: Risky? Madhyam does not have the brahmana tejyas to burn off sins, and if it is risky, i.e. he will get overcome by taking sins, thus it is not recommended. We are not supposed to advertise that we can take sins, when we cannot.
That is not risk, that is false advertising. If a person does not have brahmana tejyas, he doesn't. Initial duties? We are all doing that, even the kanistha is doing the "initial duties," that does not mean he can say he is doing the final duties also. The person doing the initial duties is an agent, whether kanistha or madhyam.
*** Every devotee is agent for their diksa and siksa gurus to the extent that they are transparent. Rittvik advocates are agents when they repeat the instructions but not when they make up that Srila Prabhupada is still accepting wholesale new disciples. I am not claiming to be the sole agent. You accuse like a devotee Sean Hannity.
PD: Whose disciples are they then? I even asked Kailash how people would offer their bhogha, to a photo of Prabhupada, or to whom else? And he never replied. And if people do not know who is their guru, then they do not know how to even do the basics, like offering bhogha. Whose picture should they offer the bhogha to then?
Srila Prabhupada also never said he would have to be physically present when we would teach people to offer bhogha to his photo, this makes no sense and he never said this. We are telling people to offer bhogha to the photo of Srila Prabhupada, because that is the process he gave us. Why should this process be changed, and how do you propose to replace it? What alternate system are you advocating, it is not clear. We are going to -- not -- offer the bhogha? I don't see where you explain this in detail. ys pd
