Damodar lila - Capture the Uncapturable

The essence of Damodar Lila is all about to develop Pure Love for Krsna. Then we can conquer the Lord like mother Yasoda.

The Lord is revealing that He is only conquered by devotees whose pure love is imbued with intimacy and is free from all conceptions of awe and reverence.
Who can capture the uncapturable Lord? Who can bind the Lord, when even great stalwarts like Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva are always worshiping the lotus feet of Lord Damodar? Even fear personified fears the Lord.

evam sandarsita hy anga
harina bhrtya-vasyata
sva-vasenapi krsnena
yasyedam sesvaram vase

"O Maharaja Pariksit, this entire universe, with its great, exalted demigods like Lord Siva, Lord Brahma and Lord Indra, is under the control of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Yet the Supreme Lord has one transcendental attribute: He comes under the control of His devotees. This was now exhibited by Krsna in this pastime.

Even though highly advanced yogis are enabled by the strength of their penances to merge their minds with brahman, still they cannot get a glimpse of this scene - of Yasoda-devi chasing her son Krsna from behind while attempting to catch Him."

Pure devotional service to Me is very difficult to attain, because it places Me under My devotee’s dominion.

darsayams tad-vidam loka
atmano bhrtya-vasyatam
vrajasyovaha vai harsam
bhagavan bala-cestitaih

To pure devotees throughout the world who could understand His activities, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, exhibited how much He can be subdued by His devotees, His servants. In this way He increased the pleasure of the Vrajavasis by His childhood activities.

All the great stalwart personalities in the universe, including Lord Brahma and Lord Siva, are fully under the control of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but the Supreme Personality of Godhead is fully under the control of His devotee. Why is this?

Because the devotee is anyabhilasita-sunya; in other words, he has no material desires in his heart. His only desire is to think always of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and how to serve Him best. Because of this transcendental qualification, the Supreme Lord is extremely favorable to the devotees — indeed, not only the devotees, but also the devotees of the devotees. 

Srila Narottama dasa Thakura says, chadiya vaisṇava-seva nistara payeche keba: without being a devotee of a devotee, one cannot be released from material entanglement.

Therefore Caitanya Mahaprabhu identified Himself as gopi-bhartuh pada-kamalayor dasa-dasanudasah.

Lord Sri Krsna has proclaimed to the bhaktas of the universe who are fond of aisvarya-jnana that He is fully submissive only to His own pure devotees. sb 10.11.9

Krsna says in Bhagavatam 9.4.63

aham bhakta-paradhino
hy asvatantra iva dvija
sadhubhir grasta-hrdayo
bhaktair bhakta-jana-priyaḥ

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said to the brahmaṇa: I am completely under the control of My devotees. Indeed, I am not at all independent. Because My devotees are completely devoid of material desires, I sit only within the cores of their hearts. What to speak of My devotee, even those who are devotees of My devotee are very dear to Me.
