Tamal Admits Poison / Bangalore Program Complaint 11 17 23

Ex-kuli: Yes, at least twice Tamal was talking about poisoning Prabhupada. Tamal said Prabhupada told him too he was sick and wanted to pass away. At the meeting the other GBC leaders were all fighting about who was responsible for Srila Prabhupada being locked up for the week -- and he got no food -- because the leaders wouldn't do what they were told. 

I heard Tamal Krishna challenged on refusing to organize the Bullock cart parikrama around Govardhana hill -- so Srila Prabhupada could pass away there. This was in Bhubaneswar -- while they were all fighting about who was the worst disciple.

Tamal Krishna apologized and said he just did what he thought was best. Then it went on to Prabhupada -- asking him to poison him -- because he was in so much pain, so he said he was just following Prabhupada's orders in that regard. Those were also the days of the "Ritvik acharya" interrogation and who was to blame with Sridhar being outed as the Scape goat to take the fall. I was 7 or 8. Year 1992.

Many GBC knew, such as Ravindra Svarup, Radhanath and a few others were present during those visits. I sat outside in the corridor at the door. My dad got to be in the room. The other time my dad got Tamal outside as they walked past the temple asking him about Euthanasia, and what the sin was for killing your spiritual master, and what poison did he use. Tamal got really upset with him and said he was just following Prabhupada's orders.

PADA: Wow. All kinds of people knew about the poison issue. This seems to fit in where Tamal told Satvarupa -- Srila Prabhupada wanted us to give something [poison] to "make him disappear." [Die]. In 1993 the GBC wanted to get rid of Tamal, but Gaura Govinda stood up at the GBC meeting and defended Tamal and said -- Tamal has to stay. Evidently, GGM knew about Tamal and the poisoning plot, since this was discussed in his presence in 1992. So he still wanted to keep Tamal even after that was exposed. ys pd

BANGALORE COMPLAINT

Dear KK. First of all prabhu, I never said I fully support Madhu pandit's program. I said right at the start in 1997 that he should bring out the molesting issue and Srila Prabhupada's 1977 complaints of being given toxic materials -- in court in India, and fully defeat the GBC. But he has refused. He wants to play games with these guys.

So he basically wasted $20,000,000 fighting them in court over technical details

when a 20 man protest with signs in front of the court -- objecting to homosexual and pedophile "Krishna successor" acharyas -- would have shut down the whole GBC show overnight. He did not want to push too hard on them and he said we need to keep "their buildings." 

We need to keep the buildings where people are being told a homosexual and pedophile guru process is bona fide? Same problem we had with the IRM, Sanat, Mukunda, Prahlad das, HKC Jaipur et al. As soon as anyone interrupts their anal reconstructive surgery epidemic pooja, they are infuriated and they say we are making offenses etc. Sulochana said these people are boot lickers of the b*tt busters.

Anyway, some of his Bangalore Yatra people there said they do not like my writings -- because it is hurting their donations in India. While other of his people said they love my stuff, and they promote it. So it is a mixed bag.

Anyway MPD does not want to really go after the GBC's main problems. I support his promoting Srila Prabhupada, and some of his Bangalore people have helped me a lot. His program here is run very nicely. 

That being said, his program may have some major problems as well. And if his people are mistreating sadhus, charging for prasadam and then insulting people who do not pay, that is terrible, and I agree. First of all, I never said I gave Madhu pandit's program a clean recommendation. And I am not sure how aware he is of these people mistreating others in his name. 

There are some good people in his program, and some bad ones, and ultimately it is his job to try to clean it up. The South India brahmanas he sent here to manage the deity program are very nice guys, but finding people like them is not easy. 

And that was also the SAME problem we had when Prabhupada was here. A lot of riff raff joined his movement. And he was ultimately blamed for their bad behaviors. And because it is Kali Yuga, where gold is hiding sinful behaviors, many devotees get overly attached to money and collecting, and then Kali enters them. 

But yeah, I agree, these "Bangalore Yatra" people you encountered are not representing Srila Prabhupada very well and MPD should try to fix that. And if he doesn't, it will reflect on him. I agree. 

At the same time, the only reason anyone is ever talking about Madhu Pandit's program is -- no one else has made anything substantial since 1977. Srila Prabhupada also said, when the Hindus will take over my program, it will become a business, and -- he is right. We almost have to expect it will come to that state. The good news is, at least some folks will read the books and be elevated in whatever sangha they are in. That is the only silver lining in all this.
