[PADA: Yep, another example of a "guru gone wild." This is the main problem with the GBC / Sridhara Maharaja / Narayan Maharaja program, they rubber stamp all sorts of conditioned souls as gurus, then they create huge public media scandals that discredits the Krishna religion. Then, they run off and go hide out in maybe India, like Bhakti vikas swami, Radhanath swami, and others are doing, to avoid taking responsibility for their "guru" mess.
There is a photo circulating here and there -- allegedly -- of Paramadvaiti swami with -- what looks like -- maybe a six years old naked little girl on his lap. Devotees from his camp have told me about this photo, and it was part of an expose site about him. This photo was allegedly part of a video taken with a hidden camera -- by the mother of the child.
If this photo is real, I cannot understand why this photo was not taken to the police and FBI, and this man is not in jail already? And why is no one taking him to the police now?
Now this begs the question, was Paramadvaiti always this fallen and degraded? I do not believe he was always this level bad off originally, but Srila Prabhupada says when people imitate the acharyas -- they eventually become degraded. How degraded? Well maybe -- very degraded. Especially when they are (A) offending their guru by imitation and (B) taking boatloads of karma from their followers.
They will accelerate their falling into lower and lower planets in future lives, and potentially degrade badly in this life. In short, they can degrade to lower than they would have in their normal life, and degrade potentially worse than criminals in normal people's society.
Anyway, this is partly good news, because more and more people are going to reject him. This is also major bad news, because now the public has been involved, and it implicates all Krishna devotees as having a bogus religion. Any future -- even bona fide -- sannyasa who goes there -- will have all sorts of problems dealing with the publicity nightmare this program has created.
It hurts all sincere devotees, as well as the bogus ones. That has always been the problem, we have to expose these guys, but then the religion itself takes a hit as collateral damage, because it makes devotee look foolish to be worshiping these charlatans.
When my friend went to a meeting of Sridhara Maharaja leaders some few years ago, he asked these leaders -- what are they going to do with Paramadvaiti? Well nothing "he is not part of our group." OK, you have no practical managing in your system.
They just go hide out somewhere else. This is not the way to manage a religion. If some bogus person announced he is the next Vatican's Pope, or another equal to the current Pope, the church would make a legal restraining order to stop that. With these guys, they know about this scandal, and that one, and they just don't act to fix anything. That is why we need an actual governing body, that is factually governing and managing. This "guru free for all" is -- not working.
Anwyay, here it is. Another fine mess you bogus guru guys got us into! ys pd]
