NARAYAN MAHARAJA FOLKS UPDATE
They just don't get it. Narayan Maharaja wanted to help have the photos of GBC people like Tamal Krishna on the altars to be worshiped. And the devotees were making bhogha offerings to those photos etc., and they still are. Now they are arguing about how the GBC is bogus for not having Keshava Maharaja's photos on the altars. Of course NM never argued this when he was here with the GBC?
Dhanajaya has requested that Kirtan be performed at the temple or home programs with the prayer that his consciousness may always be fixed at the lotus feet of Krishna. Dhananjaya das joined Krishna Consciousness in 1981 and spent several years as a brahmachari traveling and preaching. He has been a resident of Alachua for a number of years.
We will update you when he is ready to have visitors. Please keep him in your prayers. Let us know if you were able to dedicate a Kirtan to him. Thank you!

A: Srila Narayana Maharaj: Never. The bona fide guru is qualified. He is like fire. He will burn everything away. Why will he take it himself? He will not take the fruits from the disciple's karma. Never will he take them. He will at once, by his mercy, quickly burn all. Not, there is nothing to be confused about. But, if the guru is not qualified, if he is not tattva-jnani, or if he is a kanistha-adhikari, then he will take all the sins. A madhyama-adhikari who is at the level of madhyama-uttama, oh, he will burn everything.
[PD: And Srila Prabhupada says a Madhyama cannot be a diksha guru because he might once again become a demon. He cannot absorb the sins of others. And furthermore, anyone who is not an uttama does not have the brahmana tejyas to burn off sins, Srila Prabhupada is very clear on this. No, a kanistha or madhyama is not like fire, he cannot burn off the sins of -- his own -- never mind burn off the sins of others. That is why Nectar of Instruction says, one must only accept an uttama as his guru. There is no sin burning fire in any other category. Q: Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada says the guru takes the disciple's sins, papa.
Almost all the neophyte GBC people who took sins under Narayan Maharaja's idea and policy suffered by falling down, getting sick, and dying. Never mind their followers are not being liberated.
Srila Prabhupada told us many, many times, if we allow people to touch our feet we will be acting like diksha gurus, taking sins. That will make us get sick, fall down or both. Of course many of them died. He said, only a pure devotee has the brahmana tejyas to burn off sins, and if you neophytes take sins "you will have to suffer" and they are suffering. So yes, this question was answered many times, none of you neophytes should attempt to take other's sins, but they neglected that instruction.
That is ALSO why Srila Prabhupada told the story of the snake and the ants. The false guru told the disciples he could take their sins, but he could not. So the disciples went to Yamaraja and they were very angry, and they wanted to take revenge. So Yamaraja made them ants, and made their guru a snake, and the snake went over the ant hill, and he was eaten alive by the ants. In other words, it does not matter if this karma is not resolved now, it will be eventually.
And! When we were in India, Srila Prabhupada stopped the whole kirtan when he saw two of his lady disciples having their feet touched by the old ladies at the pandal program. He told them, "I told you -- do not let people touch your feet, you will be taking their karma and you will have to suffer." None of you neophytes should attempt to take others sins, but they neglected that instruction. No idea why the ladies "gurus" would be able to be diksha gurus and take karma -- when the men who do so are suffering many reactions. ys pd
I said out of the gate, Srila Prabhupada told us -- we cannot offer anything to Krishna via media conditioned souls. Conditioned souls also cannot give diksha, they have no potency to absorb sins. And when Narayan Maharaja found out I was objecting, he was in Texas with Tamal Krishna and he criticized us as "breaking the parampara tradition." There is no parampara of conditioned souls, there are none in the parampara. ys pd
The point is that the priority should have been -- to teach us NOT to place conditioned soul's photos on the altars. And NOT to be in Texas propping up Tamal's regime when I am in Texas getting Tamal sued for $400,000,000. If placing the photos of pure devotees on the altars had been the priority, we never would have had to sue them for $400,000,000 in the first place.
I humbly request all devotees to please donate to help him, so that he can live his final days not in financial anxiety, but in full meditation on the lotus feet of his beloved spiritual master Srila Prabhupada, and Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
NARAYAN MAHARJA FOLKS REPLIED:
api cet su-durācāro
bhajate mām ananya-bhāk
sādhur eva sa mantavyaḥ
samyag vyavasito hi saḥ
“Even if a devotee commits the most abominable actions, he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated.” [Bhagavad-gītā 9.30] As you will say, “To err is human.” Therefore in the neophyte stage we may always expect some discrepancies. Kindly see the thing in this light and forgive their small mistakes. The big thing is that they have given everything, even their lives, to Kṛṣṇa – and that is never a mistake.
PADA: Child mistreatment should not be forgiven, because it causes lifetime damages to the victims. Some victims ended their own lives. There are several hundred former ISKCON children here in California -- and they almost all avoid ISKCON like the plague -- because they were mistreated there.
And systematic child mistreatment is not "a mistake" when it goes on for decades, it is a corrupt conspiracy policy. People who mistreat children are also not "devotees of Krishna," even the courts could figure that out. And no, they never said they are "neophytes who make mistakes," they said they are full blown parampara acharyas who should have their photos on the altars, and they are free of mistakes.
In 1978 Narayan Maharaja told the GBC visiting committee [like Jayadvaita swami et al.] that Srila Prabhupada had said ALL of my disciples are like monkeys, and you should help them. OK and the first help is, tell them not to have the photos of monkeys worshiped on Krishna's altars. I also said that offering bhogha to Jayatirtha would make people fall down by eating his remnants, and his followers started falling down left, right and center. This should never have been allowed from the get go. ys pd

JANMANJAYA CANCER UPDATE
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
As you all may know from my previous posts, our dear Janmanjaya prabhu, the first Atlanta temple president and a very senior Srila Prabhupada disciple having joined Iskcon in 1969, is suffering from 4th stage pancreatic cancer.
He and his family are in desperate need of financial support. He is not able to work, so this puts great stress on his family. His wife Natalie, who my wife and I have known for more than 30 years, created this GoFund Me campaign to help with their expenses.
I humbly request all devotees to please donate to help him, so that he can live his final days not in financial anxiety, but in full meditation on the lotus feet of his beloved spiritual master Srila Prabhupada, and Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
Janmanjaya prabhu has given so much of his life to all of us, now let us demonstrate our love for him by donating to help him. As His Grace Balavanta prabhu, who was the second temple president of Iskcon Atlanta, stated during his recent visit, “There would be no Iskcon Atlanta without the initial sacrifices of Janmanjaya prabhu, and the less than five devotees, who established the Krsna consciousness movement here in Atlanta.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please share the link with your friends and associates.

DHANANJAYA CANCER UPDATE
Sept 14, 2023
Hare Krishna. We are saddened to inform you that Dhananjaya dasa has been admitted to home hospice through Haven. Unfortunately, his cancer did not respond to treatment. He is in good spirits. Currently his family is visiting him.

VAISNAVI REMEMBERANCE
PADA: She would have been 54? Yes, that is what my nurse friend keeps saying: these "Krishna people" are leaving prematurely. There is some kind of "premature departure epidemic" in the Hare Krishna group. Ummm, yep. Does that mean we do not wish these souls well? Nope. We wish them all the best and God speed.
Did I forget to mention -- "cancer" is not always a pleasant manner of departing? There is often a lot of prolonged and sometimes intense suffering involved. Something is terribly wrong when the people apparently trying to surrender to God are suffering like this, and my nurse friend thinks it is an epidemic.
I believe -- a lot of this result has to do with the malefic managers of ISKCON who created a lot of grief and stress for these people, which lead to their bodies shutting down. Same type things happen in concentration camps, the victims die prematurely, even children die sooner. It is called mental distress, resulting in bodily distress. Until and unless the devotees as a whole start to recognize the roots of this issue, it will continue IMHO.

WHEN WILL MORE VICTIMS SPEAK UP?
PADA: Good question. The difficulty now is, many victims have been trained not to bring this up. There is a residual stigma. There is still a lot of pressure not to. And the victims who speak up are sometimes viewed as "snitches ratting out the leaders." Even now. I don't think some of them feel safe to bring out their story in any forum. If they name names and incidents, then they might identify themselves as part of that incident.
Meanwhile, some of them just don't want to re-live the story. And that is understandable. As for the parents who did not report these incidents, I think a lot of them were in denial, and still are. When a lot of the old timers meet me at Rathayatra for example, they immediately start telling me what service they were doing in 1975.
Ok but what happened after 1978? It is all blanked out. It is like a person who causes a car crash, but then does not remember the crash, because it is too painful to admit he caused others to suffer. I think some victims and some parents are coming out more these days, but they need to come out at their own speed and by their own will. And some of them who do then find bringing out their story helps them heal, but this is a voluntary process. ys pd

RUPANUGA NEVER GOT IT.
PADA: Correct MD. Rupanuga knew that we neophytes had been instructed NOT to take sins [as diksha gurus] or we would have to suffer severe reactions and "eventually become degraded." Yet, he said 11 people should take sins -- [ and suffer, and degrade ] and they did.
Nowadays Rupanuga is saying that maybe we should have made ALL of the 5,000 disciples into diksha gurus. Then they would ALL have to suffer and degrade? He is saying we should have made the bad situation ten thousand percent worse.
Conditioned souls cannot absorb sins. Duh -- oh! The devotee class are already experiencing a cancer and other fatal ailments epidemic, and we want to pour TONS and TONS more sins into their sin bucket. That is going to help matters? Really? Rupanuga thinks that everyone can become another Jesus by snapping their fingers, presto chango, ummm nope! Not so easy there little cricket! ys pd

M Dasi: Vaishnavi dasi. Almost 54. Very nice woman, attractive, kind heart, but no longer here. For what reason? We should be asking that.
ReplyDeleteWonder why they have so many devotee "trauma therapy groups"? Not me! I know ALL about it. The leaders whip our heads around and around ... with all their contrary rules and laws.
Worship this one. Never mind ... worship the other one. Never mind worship the other one. Never mind ... you were not sincere!
Then you get brain whiplash ... and you cannot think. That is right where they want you to be. Then you'll have brain pudding illness and they can shape you into one of their robots. I feel especially bad for other victims ... because I know how rough they can treat people. I am one of them myself.
