Madhyam Gurus / Another Exploiting ISKCON Guru 01 17 24

January 15, 1990: On this date in history 34 years ago, Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja, a disciple of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s sannyasa guru, confirms that a madhyama adhikari can serve as guru:

“[The] uttama adhikari [guru] can [bestow Krishna prema: unadulterated love of God upon his disciples.] But the madhyama adhikari, if he gives initiation, by practicing will show the disciple the way he is going personally, and by following this the disciple will [also] achieve Krishna prema. It can be done.”

PADA: This was part of the 1990 GBC meetings with Narayan Maharaja where they began to promote their idea of making "Madhyam gurus." Kailasa chandra joined that group and wrote papers for them. The problem is, the Madhyam is still a conditioned soul and should not be worshiped as an uttama guru. Big mistake. A Madhyam has to act as an agent [priest or ritvik] for the acharya, not as a direct successor. ys pd

First of all: 

1) Priyavrata at the age of 70, left his devoted wife who was also very chaste, left her after 35 years of marriage to take up with his mistress -disciple of 35 years less age than himself. In other words, he renounced his wife and ran off with a young mistress at age 70.  

2) This devoted lady is named Manila, and she is so young she could be his daughter or granddaughter. He had also given her initiation calling her "Mohini d.d."

3) You should know that Priyavrata in his relationship with his wife (Ananga Manjari) had never worked a job. He always got maintained with her money, also sending her out on the street to do "sankirtan" collecting for years, while he was sitting comfortably at home being a sadhu!.

4) Priyavrata got half of his wife's house in Viterbo put legally in his name, and then he demanded half of the house money to go to him so he can live with his mistress Manila! 

5) Priyavrata -- after giving some private initiations, asked Madusevita to be allowed to be a Guru in the Iskcon, which would mean rejecting the initiation of BV Puri maharaja. But Madhusevita told him no, saying he had to be under observation for 2 years -- because he did not have straight behavior. And in the meantime -- he had to renounce the initiations he had already given.

6) Priyavrata's mistress disciple (?) (Manila) initiated by him under the name Mohini dd, had returned to the name bhaktin Manila, supposedly to appease ISKCON and get them to make him a guru.

7) Priavrata then asked Hridayananda maharaja for initiation, but he said he could not give it to him in Iskcon but in his Krishna West movement, so Priavrata left him as well. 

8) Priyavrata, again with the intention of being able to be a guru tomorrow in Iskcon, then asked Niranjana Swami for the initiation, but Niranjana Swami told him that they had to get to know each other first -- and that it would take time, and so Priyavrata left Niranjana Swami too! 

9) Priyavrata eventually even rejected both Srila Prabhupada and all the ISKCON guru parampara (Bhaktisiddanta, Bhaktivinoda, Gaura Kishora etc.) to take initiation via telephone, together with his mistress Manila, in another sampradaya -- that of Nityananda, a babaji of Radhakunda who calls himself "Prabhupada Srila Premgopal Goswami." It looks like these people do not study who is coming for initiation to them.

10) After 40 years of Krishna consciousness or alleged spiritual life -- Priyavrata realizes that Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is no longer good enough, and now he disputes the Srila Prabhupada guru Parampara, and he argues against the complaints about the young mistress Manila, who is now being called Madhumati d.d. 

11) Priyavrata removed photos from his altar [together with the mistress Madhumati], the pictures of Prabhupada and the whole Parampara, however they use Prabhupada's books to make their classes! 

Crazy stuff! 

12) Priyavrata's lover, Madhumati d.d., after only 2 years of knowing about the devotees, creates her own shastra classes and explanations regularly on FB to explain spiritual philosophy to all of us -- along with her lover who left his wife !!!.....(nb) 

It is starting to look like ISKCON is creating many sub branches of more and more self appointed bogus gurus, or a guru wanna be epidemic. They are making the guru platform into a very cheap exploiting business. There are a number of other examples of big shots around ISKCON taking off with younger women, and this is simply another means of exploiting the ignorant. 

Instead of waking up and saying -- bogus gurus are causing major problems everywhere and we need to get rid of them, many people just are upset they did not get to be big exploiting gurus themselves. They just want to carve off a piece of the stolen bread for themselves.
