A Dasi: Two questions to the CPO team. Yesterday I read Vedasara prabhu's disclosure of extremely horrific, dark, demoniac and highly disturbing material. I thank Vedarasa from the bottom of my heart for his immense courage. I convey my deepest respect to him and pray for his physical and emotional healing recovery.
Question No 1. In your texts I have come across the descriptive word 'abuse'. Is there a reason not to define it as paedophilia? I would name the Mayapura gurukula lead by BVP, as “a well organised systemic paedophilia ring”; and the perpetrators, including BVP, as “paedophiles plagued by this incurable psychiatric disorder”.
To remove the paedophiles from leadership and guruship roles in Srila Prabhupad’s ISKCON, is the minimum. How can they impart love of Krsna to their disciples in this mortified animalistic consciousness? In court they would be charged guilty of multiple crimes of the worst kind against children over decades and imprisoned for a MINIMUM of four years.
Question No 2: Could you please explain the reasons for not pressing charges? The two answers I think of : the police are corrupt in India and the victims do not want to do so (?). What other reasons? Thank you
PADA: Always been a problem. Various parents have told me their kid or kids were molested, but when I requested them to make a police report, they would not do so. I did help one lady sue Dallas / Tamal in 1986 for about $3,000,000, and then she was severely demonized and harassed by the GBC's folks. And her kids ended up not wanting anything to do with Krishna. In other words, they make examples of anyone who tries to get justice, hence, making it more difficult for others to make the attempt. When I was helping get kids sign up for the 1997 Dallas case, some parents came up and literally screamed at me that I was destroying ISKCON etc.
Even though I was explaining to them that there was a growing problem of victims taking their lives, it fell on deaf ears. Even the Kamsahanta / Pancali / Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad das / Bhakta Peter / HKC Jaipur ilk types were happy that their children victims were dying. One of their leaders said he wanted to see all of ISKCON's children "die in a bloodbath in Dallas." So -- there are people out there actually happy to see their victims -- dead. A dead victim cannot testify against their molester messiah's regime. So there are a lot of people in league with the regime. Of course then these folks told everyone to listen to Radhanath's cheer leaders.
Anyway! There is a lot of repressed information -- as a result of this conspiracy of silence, which has caused many others to become victims because they were never informed of the issue. Had some of the parents exposed, pressed charges, sued and etc. earlier on, much of this would have been avoided.
Right now, my Mormon nurse friend -- who has been reading my constant Krishna devotee cancer case reports -- thinks, the Hare Krishna's have a cancer epidemic going on because -- they are repressing negative emotions which is making a toxic effect on the body. That is perhaps why Krishna told Arjuna, you have to fight because the war will adversely afflict you no matter even if you try to avoid it. Another friend of mine, an ex-witch, says offering food to abusers and predators will predator-ize and contaminate the food offering, and afflict people with sympathy for abusers and predators, if they don't become that themselves. Of course this is always the first question the media folks ask as well, where were the complaints? ys pd
K Dasi: International and state (in the US) jurisdiction has often made pressing charges difficult. Traveling to press charges is again a burden placed upon the victim (and their family), what to speak of the financial, social and emotional costs involved. Many victims move on and far away from these traumas in order to heal. It is not a guarantee for 'justice' to press charges, because the law enforcement and judicial systems in most countries are problematic or broken as well. There are many many reasons this is not pursued by many victims.
KJ: When your stuck in a centralised cult w/ elite millionaires controlling it, such as what Iskcon turned into, your only choice is to get out, especially if you have children, your not going get police help or involvement in India.

Krishna Attracts Everyone!
Even misfits find Krishna captivating. That includes the 20 percent of the population the National Association on Mental Illness refers to as “Mentally Ill’.9 Those who came to Krishna Consciousness seeking relief from the miseries of life can only hope to get help like that if they can refrain from NOT offending devotees.
Out of need they might find refuge among ISKCON-Bashers. But many disturbed individuals cannot even find a place among those groups which leads to further alienation that exasperated their feelings of rejection. The problem is not the organization, it is the underlying, untreated mental illness. But narcissists by
definition never realize this important point.
PADA: Any sane person has to reject a pedophile worshiping cult that bans, beats, molests, sues and kills Vaishnavas. Otherwise they are implicated in these offenses, therefore most people have abandoned current ISKCON. That should be expected.
An example of this type of distorted behavior is how some RtViks claim that if we all agreed to their mis-construed concept of initiation, ISKCON would magically be restored to the “Good Old Days!”
defiant disciples, the Gaudia Math, cheaters, deprogrammers, publishing challenges and the exponential expansion of of ISKCON.
The Problems In “The Good-Old-Days”
It took 20 years for the RtVik-Charade to coagulate into an alternative break-away movement and now there are at least five different RtVik camps! There is so much completion to establish their particular imaginary flavor of the RtVik-Charade that constant conflict prevails among them all! Delusional individuals may simplify what Srila Prabhupada accomplished into a utopia like “Good-Old-Days” memory, but those who were paying attention know that ISKCON has been undergoing an ever-maturing process right from the very beginning. There is no utopia like simple solution to ISKCON’s ongoing growing pains which include how to establish a safer gurukula environment for future brahmins.
JD: Mayesvara just does not get it ... attempting to link Hare Krishna with the mental patients. He neglects to mention the main point: mental homes have ADMINISTRATION HEADS who will not allow the patients there to worship pedophiles ... in the mental home. In other words, mental homes have a better administration than ISKCON.
ReplyDeleteISKCON is just the opposite of the mental homes. The GBC program insists that people worship their illicit sex and pedophile gurus. Because they have corrupt administration.
Homosexual pedophiles might be consigned to a criminal mental home as criminal punishment, but no one there worships them. Not even the other mental patients worship them. I think he is just trying to insult the mental patients of the world by making it look like they have some connection to pedophile worship. They don't. It is a desperate stretch.
