GBC Must Resign! / Nrsimhananda das (ITV - Los Angeles)

Dear esteemed GBC members,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

In light of serious lapses in responsible administration by the Governing Body Commission [ISKCON GBC] we, as good faith servants of Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON, request its present members to collectively resign in deference to the widespread concerns of the greater ISKCON community.

We request a review and renewal of the GBC membership overseen by an aggregated body of responsible devotees, such as the SABHA or OrgDev, to take place within a defined interim period. To avoid a power vacuum, the current members could remain as locum tenens pending the review’s outcome and identification of replacements, where required.

Upon resigning, we request each former GBC member to either remain retired or re-apply for a position in the GBC subject to approval by the appointed interim group.

Along with a renewal of membership, we request the reviewing body to work with the appropriate agencies to establish much-needed protocols for the accountability of the GBC, pursuant to the intent of Srila Prabhupada’s  Direction of Management. Thus all members of the current GBC can maintain their deserved dignity while allowing the body to collectively admit its shortcomings and establish effective mechanisms of organizational responsibility for the future.

We anticipate that any current GBCs aloof from the dynamics that led to the abuse and disruption that precipitated this call for renewal will be quickly welcomed back, should they submit for reinstatement.

The GBC’s ability to lead ISKCON depends upon the community's faith in the Body as Srila Prabhupada’s empowered instrument. Your resignation would signal recognition of this and significantly strengthen the devotees’ trust in their leaders. It would not affect your administrative positions in any specific project or property and thus not create undue instability regarding ISKCON assets.

The lay congregation desperately needs reassurance that its leaders are prepared to take responsibility for their grave omissions and the ensuing tragedies. Verbal assurances are no longer sufficient. Failing to demonstrate meaningful acceptance of culpability will further erode trust and raise serious questions about the Body’s probity and legitimacy to lead.

Though ISKCON, particularly its Governing Body Commission, was charged by Srila Prabhupada with being an ideal example of leadership and organization, history proves it has sadly fallen prey at times to the unbecoming tendencies it was established to root out across humanity at large. Studying the Srimad Bhagavatam helps us appreciate that this situation is not surprising and reassures us that it is not yet a reason to lose faith in ISKCON’s leaders and their noble mission.

The Lord entrusted Sri Brahma with manifesting and maintaining the structure of the universe. Yet, at an early point in his service, he sexually pursued his daughter—a shocking breach of conduct. When Brahma’s capable and well-meaning children petitioned him about how such base behaviour could overcome him, he felt deeply chastened. He then gave up his body to cleanse himself and show good faith to his dependents. ISKCON's past, present, and future members need a similar demonstration of good faith and contrition from the foundational generation of the GBC.

This is not a call for revolution but a renewal of the GBC’s sacred purpose established by Srila Prabhupada, who saw his legacy connected to this Body's behaviour.

In 1971 he wrote to Bhagavan prabhu, “I am now getting all respect and honour, so now you must preserve that standard and not dishonour me.”

Many ISKCON members are floundering in the haze of legitimate criticism regarding the GBC’s abject failure to protect the devotees under its care. Whether the future regards the present confusion as evidence of iniquity in ISKCON’s leadership or the understandable growing pains of its volatile formative years will depend on how the GBC addresses these concerns.

Along with offering urgently required healing to the devotee society by admitting dereliction, your resignation would be a significant step towards establishing healthy leadership and succession dynamics in ISKCON. It will also allow the next generation to assume leadership roles while seasoned elders are still present to support them in times of challenge and uncertainty.

The Srimad Bhagavatam itself manifested from a great leader accepting dramatic penance for a relatively innocent mistake. Yet see how the Lord reciprocated. Pariksit’s history is a universal success story born of his penitence.

What miracles might Krishna be moved to manifest if the GBC displayed such sincerity now? How valuable a message would it give to future generations of leaders if this inevitable change of guard came not by the force of time but by your sacrifice in the mood of serving Srila Prabhupada’s devotees?

As firm well wishers of the GBC, whose strength and integrity are so critical to ISKCON’s welfare, we ask that you protect our society with a profound example of accountable leadership rooted in humility. Pray step down and, in so doing, rise to the occasion of this pivotal moment.

PADA: This is good. However, the first problem is -- should the GBC folks admit to criminally neglecting ISKCON -- and / or the children of ISKCON, they might be worried about the legal consequences. Hence, Satsvarupa was the smartest guy in the group, he just locked himself in a room with a sign "do not disturb." Yeah, let the citizens suffer, as long as I have my guru pooja going on, who cares?

It is also amazing that after 45 years of sustained -- banning, beating, molesting, lawsuits, Federal SWAT raids on ISKCON property, and a few assassinations, a stream of horrific media coverage, temples turned into empty ghost towns etc., finally some people are saying "enough already"! I was at the enough already stage in 1979. Anyway, some progress is good, and should be recognized and applauded. 

Some gurus told Mahasringha, "Of course we know people hate our guts and hope we all die. But what are we going to do now, get a job driving a taxi? This is our career, we have not paid into social security, so if we leave this, we have nothing. We are gurus until we are dead."

OK so what is the motivation for them to say anything now? "Because anything I say can -- potentially -- be used against me." 

Not sure what the problem has been with the GBC?

Was it all the banning of thousands of devotees?

Was it the orchestrated beatings of various devotees?

Was it the illicit sex with men, women and children acaryas process?

Was it thst some of their gurus -- were taking intoxicants, shooting guns at occupied buildings, drinking Vodka, offering LSD to the shalagram etc.?

Was it going around making spin-off and off shoot competition for ISKCON by inviting in Sridhara Maharaja, Narayan Maharaja, babajis etc. and siphoning off thousands and thousands of ISKCON people AWAY to competing programs?

Was it the whacky Satanic Art of Satsvarupa, their main writer?

Was it changing the books?

Was it the Los Angeles temple authorities who told me they could not remove the photo off the altar -- of the guru who said "gurus can wear condoms when having illicit sex"?

Was it Govinda Datta, a LA temple leader, telling me he sends his kids to Christian schools because "I don't want my kids to be molested in the Krishna's schools."

Was it the murders and disappearences of various dissenters?

Was it Srila Prabhupada complaining of being poisoned?

Was it burying a pedophile and a porno swami in samadhi?

Was it the various police, FBI, Federal Marshalls raids on ISKCON temples?

Was it Krishna West gone bananas?

Was it being sued for mass child abuse, only to have worse abuses going on after that -- with Bhakti Vidya Purna swami in Mayapur? Which means they learned nothing from the lawsuit.

Was it Jayapataka people complaining I cost them $100,000,000 in legal fees?

Was it all of the above?

Or was it just the answer I had to give to an inquiry recently:

Q: What in a nutshell is ISKCON leadership's main beef with you (PADA editor)?

A: I do not believe that pedophiles are, were, or could have been, God's successors. 

Anyway, now they are suing child welfare advocates, which means -- no -- they are not asleep at the swicth. Rather! They are very alert, and as such they defend evil agendas over and over and over very vigilantly. 

KKD: They can defend ISKCON all they want, till they’re drained by exhaustion. But they can never defend the reasons why revolting abusers are kept in influential positions among devotees. This is the same as saying -- We Don’t Care about all the victims of abuse. Defending or supporting this stance makes us complicit in such abuse.

GG: Kaunteya smells blood in the water. He knows the good ole boys guru ship is taking in water fast ... sinking quickly. That means he won't have a position once the ship goes down. Besides, everyone hates the ship's bogus captains. 

So he is trying to make his own spin off "more West than Krishna West." He is going to "out reform" the other reformers. So he is talking about the bogus smartas ... like Bhakti Vikas swami, but Kaunteya is just like the bogus smartas, he also seems to avoid the whole bogus guru's and child abuse issue ... which is the main concern people have right now. 

They will have all sorts of meetings and papers, but not touching the main issue everyone complains about, they have mistreated devotees and especially children abominable fashion. Talking about the bogus smartas is another side show to avoid the real point. And that point is ... Kaunteya's guru Jayapataka is the leader of a pedophile rings and nests in the dham system. Let us get that resolved first, that we can see if "more West than Krishna West" is a good idea or not.

PADA: Nuff said. Don't be complict, at least --take leave of them. Better yet, expose them, but do not allow them to get away with all these crimes against humanity, and against Krishna, without protest, or you are complicit. This letter is a good starting point. But it won't end their regime in the short haul. Our best defense is to expose them, which has the added benefit of saving others from getting sucked into their traps.

Dear GBC Members,

I was invited to Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School (BGIS) for purposes of my film service. However, I am highly sensitive to child abuse issues and took the opportunity to look into the management, staff, and students. I gave classes and seminars to teachers and students.I also scoped out the facilities. I am neither a GBC, sanyassi, or ISKCON manager, so my interactions were free of any constraints due to positions of authority.

Abuse lives behind the shadows, so I knew that there is no foolproof system. 

[PADA: No, the child abuse is right out in the open. They were already telling all the kids to worship their illicit sex deviants right out of the gate in 1978, to try to transform the kids into fellow pedo-pooja lovers. "You become what you worship," so they had the kids worshiping their pedo pals -- evidently to try to make many of the kids into fellow pedos. 

Their pedo-pooja platform was done right out of the gate seen by all of us. I said that right away, Jayatirtha is a de fact pedo, and making children worship him his child abuse, at least psychologically and spiritually. This was all done openly and was in plain sight for all to see -- right out of the gate? That was the first rattle out of the box, let us have the ISKCON kids worshiping our illicit sex with men, women and children deviants as their messiahs, so we can make more of that process.]

I looked for safeguards. There are big, signs in front of the temple and all other buildings which declare the entire project as having zero tolerance for child abuse. They also have householders as teachers and administrators (male and female). A vast 24/7 surveillance system of cameras are omnipresent; any incident can be witnessed / referenced.

[PADA: But they are worshiping the Gopal Krishna program, same as the 1978 Jayatirtha process, and which now buries even pedos in samadhis. So they are in Vrndavana, where pedo samadhis are considered as bona fide and worshipable.]

I spoke privately and in groups with many of the 400 children / teens. I found them to be happy campers, many who spontaneously dance in kirtan without any prodding by overzealous ashram leaders. There are ample sports facilities including badminton courts, football fields, basketball hoops, and swimming.

BGIS sits on 100 acres with goshalla, guest house, large temple, ashram, ponds, infirmary, agriculture (subji's, wheat, fruit trees, etc.), and dedicated devotees. Having eaten with the boys, I can personally vouch that the prasadam is first class.

[PADA: Offering bhogha to a pedophile messiahs guru lineage contaminates the food. My ex-witch friend says this is how ISKCON contaminates their children, they make them eat food offered to their pedophile guru line, which then may make the children in sympathy with the pedo-pooja agenda. Offering food to an illicit sex with men, women and children guru process is not prasadam, it is -- according to my ex-witch, "like offering food to Satan to pollute people's brains if not make them sick mentally and physically."]

I accompanied the chief administrator, Radhakant prabhu, to Lucknow where he and I met with the state education minister. I was amazed to see the minister review each and every page of a voluminous report before approval. Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state of UP has become much less corrupt and highly professional. The government is a stakeholder in the education industry, and it regulates these institutions very carefully.

[PADA: There are tons of bogus gurus and bogus guru worshiping programs in India, it is not regulated well by any means. And Srila Prabhupada often said that, India is a bogus guru factory.]

I was surprised to learn that BGIS is affiliated to ICSE / ISC Board and is ranked as the best boarding school in Uttar Pradesh and among the top 20 boarding schools of India by Education World Rankings, 2019. Like the tens of thousands of boarding schools in India, the parents pay a yearly fee to place their children.

I departed from my experience with a great sense of confidence in the administrators, staff, and teachers. If anyone is to render an opinion about whether ISKCON should be including gurukulas as boarding schools, they need to spend a week or so at BGIS which has reformed what was the legacy of Vrndaban gurukula.

[PADA: Yep, I have a lot of confidence in the illicit sex with men, women and children guru parampara, that bans, beats, molests, sues and kills Vaishnavas, and is training up children to continue that process.]

BTW, BGIS is a great place to stay when coming to Vrndaban. It is only nine miles from the Krishna Balaram mandir, but it is the rural Vrndaban that I remember. A big new guest house nearly completed welcomes the pilgrim as do the gorgeous deities of Krishna-Balarama, Radha-Madhava, Jagannath-Balarama-Subhadra, and Srila Prabhupada's murti. The quiet is only broken by the gleeful sounds of kids - a hopeful symptom of ISKCON's bright future.

[PADA: Yep, it is another edition of Gopal Krishna's program. His ICC people wrote to inform me that I am a bogus mleccha -- and thus should not comment on Vedic affairs, like for example, Gopal Krishna's program of helping bury deviants in samadhis, and creating and then reinstating deviants as acharyas etc. 

What are they teaching people there? Obviously they are teaching India people to be racist Jesus haters because we mlecchas worship pure devotees and not their anal sex with children epidemic guru parampara. Training little children to worship an anal sex with children epidemic guru parampara is -- contaminating them. And that is why they think worshiping Jesus is bogus, but worshiping an illicit sex with men, women and children acharyas program is bona fide. They are being trained improperly.

Watch out! Those bogus mlecchas might be worshiping a pure devotee like Jesus -- and not -- Gopal Krishna's illicit sex with men, women and children messiahs club, which has a sub-class club -- the anal reconstructive surgery epidemic messiahs club! We cannot be having children worship pure devotees, because how can we spread our anal reconstructive surgery samadhi plan?
