Why Did Krishna Refuse To Wear Shoes?

Hare Krishna,

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada,

Krishna was always more concerned about the well-being of His calves and cows than of His own well-being. So much so ... He refused to wear shoes while going in the forest, because His calves had NO SHOES. He told mother Yashoda that only if she made shoes for all the thousands of calves, He also would wear shoes.

Otherwise, He would walk barefoot. So much he was concerned about them. If that was His concern for the calves, imagine His concern for the difficulties faced by His devotees. No words can be said.

[PADA: And imagine the problems that a person who places His devotees into distress will experience in the future. Or even, the problems they may experience already, at least when we consider how some of the GBC's false gurus have fallen down, had constant headaches, got very sick, went totally insane, or died prematurely.

It is not a good idea to make the devotees of Krishna feel anxiety, fear, distress etc. Krishna won't approve. Krishna is very concerned about the welfare of His devotees, and we should also have the same concern if we want to be His followers. ys pd]
