Second Lokanath Swami Abuse Case Launched

HDD: Lokanatha “dasa” (aka Swami) has not only perpetrated a crime against a child. He is now being investigated for an alleged rape. Not only has he done immeasurable damage to his victims, but he has also done harm to their families, ISKCON, the sannyasa ashram, the guru parampara, and to himself.

And that’s not all. He is perpetuating the pain all victims of ISKCON sexual molestation -- they have experienced in the past -- by keeping this abuse case alive. He continues to cause us subtle violence by keeping silent and wallowing in his attachment to guru-status, with all its trimmings.

His conduct is that of a hard-hearted, if not heartless, individual, who is wholly devoid of any decency, morality and a sense of righteousness. I’m ashamed to know him and even more having served under him for so many years. Once upon a time I “idiolised” him. How the “mighty” has fallen.

PADA: The perps and their enablers deserve eternal kindness, forgiveness, mercy and a free expense account for all their servants, nice cars, $25 health club bar drinks, and overall opulent lifestyles. Those of us who oppose the perps and their enablers are generally -- removed, banned, shunned, exiled, sued, chased with bats, threatened with violence, or worse, and generally called ill names, with zero forgiveness or mercy. Is it just me, or is there a pattern here? Just saying! ys pd

NNH: Unfortunately, the whole GBC and all so called "Guru"s who are not standing up and saying something, are all complicit and "Guilty" by association.

MWR: Looking beyond ISKCON we note religious "leaders" of many stripes committing offenses. Furthermore, we see the ISKCON community they serve enwrapping them in a protective cocoon of denial, cover up, and victim shaming, while pretending [in the same breath] to be taking remedial action. This has happened among Roman Catholic priests, Orthodox Jewish rabbis, Gurus, and others. I wonder why?

LS Dasi: Get his arse locked up and even be punished for himself and ... all those others who were raped and abused children under his watch, and all in the their so-called parampara. They say Peter pays for Paul and Paul pays for all ...

SD Dasi (#2): Well, I guess this is the reason the GBC's "report" on him has been delayed for so long.

MM Dasi: Rape?! Is that a new story? I'm confused.

HDD: Yes it’s a new case being investigated.

RSD: It's a terrible situation that needs to be fixed asap.

G Dasi: Rape? Is that a new story? I'm confused.

HDD: Yes it’s a new case, another alleged victim.

RE: In my view all ISKCON members are guilty and a party to these crimes. Not 'having knowledge' of the case is a choice in this information age, and comes with consequences, much like not knowing the iron was hot when I touched it. Time for a major EXODUS and quit supporting them!

DD: Why is anyone still supporting this rubbish guru sampradaya, which is an insult to Krishna? Who else thinks sexual perverts are Krishna's successors, apart from these fools? No one else would ever accept such foolish ideas, except from them. Srila Prabhupada would be turning in his grave ... except he does not have to ... he has already condemned them by explaining how the demons worship other demons.

[PADA: Well since the Basu Ghosh India ICC thinks that God's guru successors are often -- engaged in illicit sex with men, women and children, and maybe cats; and gambling in Reno; and having affairs with half dozen disciples; and watching porno; and drinking vodka; and offering LSD to the shalagram; and orchestrating assassinations of Vaishnavas, and so forth ad infinitum, why would molesting or even rape not also be included in their eternal guru parampara -- from Patala loka? One media person asked me, "Is there any sin their gurus have not performed"? None that I know of? ys pd]

Srila Prabhupada: False religionists --
are cast down into the lower species.

  1. We all know where this guru parampara is going: They kill guru to become guru, and they kill others who get in their way. Text 14: The killer of a brāhmaṇa is put into the hell known as Kālasūtra, which has a circumference of eighty thousand miles and which is made entirely of copper. Heated from below by fire and from above by the scorching sun, the copper surface of this planet is extremely hot. Thus the murderer of a brāhmaṇa suffers from being burned both internally and externally. Internally he is burning with hunger and thirst, and externally he is burning from the scorching heat of the sun and the fire beneath the copper surface. Therefore he sometimes lies down, sometimes sits, sometimes stands up and sometimes runs here and there. He must suffer in this way for as many thousands of years as there are hairs on the body of an animal.
Text 15: If a person deviates from the path of the Vedas in the absence of an emergency, the servants of Yamarāja put him into the hell called Asi-patravana, where they beat him with whips. When he runs hither and thither, fleeing from the extreme pain, on all sides he runs into palm trees with leaves like sharpened swords. Thus injured all over his body and fainting at every step, he cries out, “Oh, what shall I do now! How shall I be saved!” This is how one suffers who deviates from the accepted religious principles.
Text 16: In his next life, a sinful king or governmental representative who punishes an innocent person, or who inflicts corporal punishment upon a brāhmaṇa, is taken by the Yamadūtas to the hell named Sūkaramukha, where the most powerful assistants of Yamarāja crush him exactly as one crushes sugarcane to squeeze out the juice. The sinful living entity cries very pitiably and faints, just like an innocent man undergoing punishments. This is the result of punishing a faultless person.
