[PADA: This looks very nice. A devotee just wrote to tell me, he and others are STILL taking to Krishna consciousness -- despite all odds -- and even in spite of the GBC's odious mis-managing.
And the ISKCON Long Island folks are doing nice online classes and forums, and their recent online class had 1700 listeners and lasted hours. Many people want to come to Krishna, but they do not want to have to worship hokey fools in order to approach Him. Includes myself! Hee hee. ys pd]
JD: Kadamba Kanana is right, most devotees left ISKCON because of the GBC's top heavy control freaks leadership of the 1980s. And they did not allow people to think for themselves. In other words, their bully tactics ... back fired ... and almost everyone left.
ReplyDeleteThey especially caused mass defections when people simply did not accept their bogus voted in gurus scheme. Now this shows what a big fat lying sack of sh** Bhakti Vikas is. He claims the regular devotees have been selecting their gurus, and they selected the wrong gurus.
According to Bhakti Vikas group ... even the five years old children have had a big contribution in deciding who will be their guru. But Kadamba says just the opposite ... the GBC has been bullying people, and the people have not been deciding on the important matters.
That shows how desperate they are now to re-write their own history. We leaders did not decide who would be the gurus, the people did, and they made a mistake. But Kadamba says no, the people had little say in these matters, and it has been top heavy down forcing people to accept GBC edicts and rules. In other words Kadamba shows how Bhakti Vikas is another lying sack of sh** bull sh** artist who just says whatever he has to to save his own little creepy cult.
So now, more devotees live outside because they cannot live under the top heavy crap coming down from the leaders ... like Bhakti Vikas. No wonder Bhakti Vikas is against women having a say ... the women don't have any interest in worshiping Bhakti Vikas swami's favorite gurus, his pedophile pals and their enablers like Jayapataka.
So these kinds of programs here are encouraging, the people come out when there is a non-political environment aka top heavy controlled by the GBC. Kadamba is right ... this is the wave of the future. Let people worship Krishna independently and just arrange the festivals ... but don't expect people to join the temples where they have to worship pedophiles or pedophile lovers as their gurus.
Kadamba is right ... those days are coming to an end. The independent group is much bigger than the tiny ultra-control group ... and the GBC program will lose more people and control over time.
