PADA: One potential spill over effect of the war in Ukraine is -- maybe -- a more iron fisted control of the official Russian Orthodox Church, using their influence with the government against "non-believers." Not sure what all happened here, or what happened to these devotees, but if we get updates we will post here. 

Overall, the Ukraine war seems to be -- making all sort of wider effect problems -- for everyone, including Krishna devotees. Some of our friends in Russia told us it is very difficult to speak up about anything right now, as everyone is being monitored closely. Dissenters are being targeted -- and while many people are just trying to get out of there -- unless a person has a lot of resources, it is not easy for the common guy to escape. Very tough situation. Lets hope for the best for these folks.
