Russian Missile Kills Food For Life Devotees

Srila Prabhupada: In war, everyone thinks God is on their side.

Two FFL Devotees Killed in Donbass Ukraine

On July 16, two Food For Life devotees in Alchevsk (Donbass) — Krsna-tattva Prabhu and Madana-gopal Prabhu — were killed in a missile strike that hit the Food For Life kitchen. They had just returned from prasadam distribution to the FFL base when a missile attack destroyed the building, and they were buried under the rubble.

Another devotee, Arjuna Prabhu was injured and has been taken to hospital.
The Donbass FFL program provided over 1,000 hot prasadam meals weekly to civilians in the war-affected areas in Donbass since 2014 and increased its efforts throughout the ongoing Russia-Ukraine military conflict. They carry out charity programs in orphanages, and rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities, organize hot meals at sports and social events and help elderly and disabled people in their homes. They spread the culture of being merciful and unite everyone who wants to bring kindness and love to people.

As of today, the Food for Life in Lugansk mission has not only lost its leader, but also the building from which the mission was operating. Both devotees who passed away were also pujaris in the local temple. Krishna Tattva Prabhu was born in 1982. He joined ISKCON in 1998 and received his first initiation from Bhakti Tirtha Swami. Madan Gopal Prabhu was also born in 1982 and joined ISKCON in 2004, he was a disciple of Bhakti Vijnana Maharaja.

[PADA: Are food kitchens being targeted? Someone sent me a video of the Russia News TV, where the Russian News lady says that Russia strategy is -- they are hoping they can cause mass starvation all over the world -- and hopefully kill many people -- by cutting off the world's wheat supplies to start -- so that will force the West to work with Russia.

And that is why they are bombing the Ukraine wheat depots -- starting the wheat fields on fire in Ukraine -- and placing anti-tank mines in the wheat fields -- so the farmers will get blown up. Basic idea is -- to make food harder to get so the mass of world population will suffer -- and hopefully many will die, maybe even millions will die. And that is exactly the plan -- according to their own Russia TV news lady.

They hope that once millions of people starve to death, that will impress people that Russia is their best friend! Really? That is amazing. By starving millions of people, then the world will see Russia as their best friend? Hee hee! Nope!

This will simply make people be against Russia authority more and more. That is what will happen, and is happening now. So they are also bombing food distribution kitchens, or bombing starving people standing in line to get food and water etc. They really want to make people suffer and die, as a means of getting people to surrender to their authority. And they even admit that on their TV.

One USA citizen Christian minister who has been working in Ukraine says -- everyone now wants to fight Russia all the more over there. And that is why he is staying over and not returning to the USA. He is going to stay there to help the citizens fight, and he says ... they will fight to the last man. And he says he is also a military target for the same reason, he is feeding people there and the Russians are going to take him out if they can.

This minister says, they would all rather die over there than surrender to the people who want to bomb civilians and starve people. I understand the sentiment. I also would not surrender to the GBC people, even though it put my life in danger. I would rather die than surrender to those who want forced and enforced surrender, and apparently, there are a lot of other people who think like me.

Anyway, we wish the best for the food for life people. Very dangerous work, and it is clear, they are now being targeted, since they are disturbing the real underlying plan -- to starve millions of people to death. Of course, this is an antique technique, the soldiers in ancient times would burn the farmers fields and kill the farm animals, and loot the citizens, to starve the citizens to death, and this was going on thousands of years ago. It is amazing that someone in modern times think this is the way to win world sentiment in their favor.

Of course I also get it, there is a lot of individual and collective karma involved here on all sides, and it is not easy to change the karma of a particular individual or entire country. And the West is also part of this karma since -- the EU are giving billions of dollars to Russia every week to buy petrol products, so they feed their own Frankenstein creation. It is also the West's karma for feeding their own opponents. All this karma is linked together. In sum, you made it, you own it.

Anyway! We hope for the best for the souls of these devotees who died there. Their idea was to serve, and they will be continue serving in their next destination. Godspeed spirit souls!

RADHIKA: Once I was in the temple, they did tell me that no one previously controlled who they invited in -- and that there may be security at risk. I have been a police officer for 28 years and certainly one who has a different vision of the world. I would want to know the background of who is coming there.

And so I talked about it to the leaders ... and I said that a society must watch over its members. Many dubious situations occurred ... like the time they threw some grenades in front of a temple and some devotees died. And I always asked ... where are the temple authorities? Who is in charge actually? Where is the leadership?

Everything sounds nice superficial ...and then we reach the madness of nobody demanding that security measures be taken. It cannot be that what is happening is not fully known? It is a war zone. And yet nobody does anything?

Everyone is left to the mercy of fate. Now there is big war there and no one moved a finger to extract these devotees from these conflict zones ... then they die. And I see the comments ... and it's terrifying ... they are heroes? Mission food for life? They should not be there on this mission if it can be deadly for them. We must protect the devotee citizens ... and we failed. We are bad ... very bad ...

==========================

MD: Now the main question: who killed Krishna Tattva, a disciple of Bhakti Tirtha and Madan Gopal, a disciple of Bhakti Vijnana, Russians or Ukrainians? This is despite the fact that on both sides there are both Russians and Ukrainians. There are Ukrainians who fight for Russia, and there are Russians who fight for Ukraine.

And it’s not a fact that the missile was from the Ukrainian army, it could also have arrived from the Russian army, because most Russian missiles behave unpredictably, chaotically. Their missiles have gone back and hit those who launched them. Their missiles hit any anonymous place all the time, with no consideration where ... or who gets killed. And the missiles they had with guidance are mostly gone -- and so they have to use their old 1960s "drop and hope it hits the desired target."

Many of their missiles fail, leaving un-exploded bombs all over the place that could blow anytime. In any case, some would say ... 2 rascals less. They themselves are to blame, they should not have taken initiation from Bhakti Tirtha and Bhakti Vijnana and some say ... laundered money on the Food for Life program to send back to their gurus. They thought that they were well settled, but the rocket was right there, which was programmed by providence itself.

[PADA: Radhika asks a good question, why is the GBC not moving their people away from the dangerous bombing zones? In any case ... they are now no longer concerned about events on this Kali Yuga-ized planet here ... they are all done with this place for now ... and we wish them well on their future soul's journey. If they do come back here ... hopefully they will be born in a family of Prabhupadanugas.]

  1. MD: Hare Krishna, dear devotees,

My pranams. Please pray for the Alchevsk devotees (Luhansk region), who were killed yesterday at Food for Life while doing their service. Krishna Tattva Prabhu - he started the project and was Food for Life admin.

Madan Gopal Prabhu was incharge of FFL project in Alchevsk.
Arjuna Prabhu is injured and he is in hospital right now.
They were unloading groceries when rockets hit the building and it collapsed. War has a harsh face and no winners. We pray for everyone.

Krishnatattva Prabhu is a good friend who has been coming on our parikramas in Puri for many years. He and his wife used to cook for us sometimes. He has been one of the leaders for many years in Ukraine for inspiring devotees. He is going to be very much missed

  2. BP: This missile came from Ukraine soldiers Himars system.

PADA: Well hee hee, they always say that. This was a direct hit on the cafeteria. Ukraine would probably not waste an important Himars on a kitchen. This was a much smaller projectile and it was specific to target the kitchen. Ukraine has much more important targets to hit with their limited Himars ammo supplies. In any case, none of these devotees were getting killed until Russia bought in thousands of soldiers and started blowing up things, like kitchens.

The Christian minister says the same thing, the Russians want to kill him because he is feeding people, he is a target because he wants to stop the starving policy. They are targeting kitchens, food supplies, water supplies, electrical supplies so they can kill people by removing their support structure. Most of the towns they take over are a pile of rubble, they want to kill as many people as possible, and starving people saves them a bullet, they can kill them by other means. Himars are very accurate and they would not likely waste one on a kitchen. It is possible this was a stray missile from someone else, but there are so many other evidences of Russia targeting civilians -- this would be a rare case. ys pd
