Someone is running the whole show here.
Guess what?
It is not any of us.

Henry Doktorski III

Thank you for your inquiry, CF. Yes, as detailed by eyewitness reports from some of the fellow conspirators in the murder of Sulochan, Radhanath was one of the key ringleaders of the conspiracy. Jyotirdhama, the man in charge of the telephone switchboard at New Vrindaban, who helped coordinate many of the phone calls from the people hunting Sulochan, said that Radhanath ordered the murder, as Bhaktipada was incapacitated at the time.

And then the cover up. Twenty years after the murder, Janmastami, who hunted Sulochan in California with Tirtha in February 1986, broke his self imposed silence, and claimed that Radhanath ordered him to "neutralize" Sulochan. GBC members came to Radhanath Swami's defense, and even Radhanath Swami claimed that he was never involved in any "illegal activity."

However, Radhanath Swami's godbrother, Jagad Guru Swami, told me personally that a few weeks after the murder, on a beach in San Diego, Radhanath Swami confessed that he was involved in the murder. "What were we supposed to do? We thought that a demon was going to kill a pure devotee. We had to protect our spiritual master by any means possible."

PADA: Some people don't like Henry's writings, and I have to admit I don't fully agree with some of it, and I fully disagree with some of it. However, he has done the research on New Vrndavana crimes like no other person could, or would. And we needed to name names and give details to understand the history here. Has anyone else made a detailed history of NV? Nope. Will anyone else ever do that? Ummm, nope again. ys pd angel108b@yahoo.com

NM: I recently read Mukunda's book that covers 1965 to 1967, so he tells all the stories of how he met Prabhupada, what the early days were like, how he found 26 2nd Avenue and rented it. The he moved to San Francisco and started things in Height Ashbury then he went to England. It ends there It's very informative. He doesn't explain this directly but includes several incidents where he had conflicts with Kirtanananda and other of the creepy people who moved in and took over Prabhupada's space on 2nd Avenue. It's very subtle, but you can tell he was repelled by these people. I think letting people like Kirtanananda and others who joined right at the beginning was like letting abusers into the clubhouse. That's one thing that went wrong right from the beginning.

PADA: Yes, well that is true. We all knew these leaders had problems, if not creepy ones. Therefore, a few years later -- in 1978 -- they could not have been Krishna's pure devotee acharya representatives, which unfortunately Mukunda supported. If they were creepy guys in 1970, -- then they CERTAINLY could not have catapulted themselves to be pure by 1977, that is impossible. Mukunda was talking to me and Sulochana on the phone and he went along with our 1986 excommunication, he wanted to support them and not us. And he still supports them and not us. ys pd

NM: Yeah, I agree, Mukunda went along with the zonal guru system and defended it, and that's tragic he went along with excommunicating you and Sulochan. I was not aware it was an actual excommunication. Expel is what they gave to most of the creepy gurus.

PADA: This is what I had to explain to the Peacock TV people. New Vrndavana was not "expelled" whatsoever. All of their top tier people were made into the next wave of leaders -- like Tapah Punja, Kuladri, Umapati, Devamrita, Malati, Radhanath and others. And Mukunda was helping this happen. And then they buried Kirtanananda in a samadhi.

The TV folks have film of the samadhi, and they have photos of ISKCON people at the samadhi opening ceremony. Gopal Krishna had to help get the burial permits. They never really got rid of the NV regime, rather they doubled down and made them the next wave of managers, and they still are now. And Radhanath is really their cherry on top prime leader currently. Anuttama told them they got rid of these guys, but even the TV folks knew that these guys were all current leaders now and they were never jettisoned, and they knew that before they even talked to me. They just asked me, why is ISKCON making them the current leaders? ys pd

Navratri, (Sanskrit: “Nine Nights”) in full Sharad Navratri, Navratri also spelled Navaratri, in Hinduism, a major festival held in honour of the divine feminine.

Navratri occurs over 9 days during the month of Ashvin, or Ashvina (in the Gregorian calendar, usually September–October). It often ends with the Dussehra (also called Vijayadashami) celebration on the 10th day. In some parts of India, Dussehra is considered a focal point of the festival, making it effectively span 10 days instead of 9.

Additionally, as Navratri depends on the lunar calendar, in some years it may be celebrated for 8 days, with Dussehra on the 9th. There are four similar festivals, also called Navratri, which are held at various stages of the year. However, the early autumn festival, also called Sharad Navratri, is the most significant. It begins on the same day as Durga Puja, a 10-day festival devoted to the victory of the goddess Durga, which is particularly celebrated in certain eastern states.

Navratri is celebrated differently in India’s various regions. For many people it is a time of religious reflection and fasting, while for others it is a time for dancing and feasting. Among fasting customs are observing a strict vegetarian diet and abstaining from alcohol and certain spices.

Dances performed include garba, especially in Gujarat. Typically, the festival’s nine nights are dedicated to different aspects of the divine feminine principle, or shakti. While the pattern varies somewhat by region, generally the first third of the festival focuses on aspects of the goddess Durga, the second third on the goddess Lakshmi, and the final third on the goddess Sarasvati.

Offerings are often made to the goddesses and their various aspects, and rituals are performed in their honour. One popular ritual is Kanya Puja, which takes place on the eighth or ninth day. In this ritual nine young girls are dressed as the nine goddess aspects celebrated during Navratri and are worshipped with ritual foot washing and given offerings such as food and clothing.

Among some followers of the goddess Durga, who are particularly predominant in Bengal and Assam, the festival is known as or coincides with the Durga Puja (“Rite of Durga”). Special images of Durga commemorating her victory over the buffalo-headed demon Mahishasura are worshipped daily, and on the 10th day (Dussehra) they are taken in jubilant processions to nearby rivers or reservoirs for immersion in water. In addition to family observances, the puja, or ritual, days are also celebrated with public concerts, recitations, plays, and fairs.

In some regions, Dussehra is collected into Navratri, and the entire 10-day celebration is known by that name. Whether throughout the festival or as the 10th day, Dussehra is a time to celebrate the triumphs of good over evil, such as Durga’s victory over Mahishasura. In some parts of India, Dussehra is associated with the victory of the god Rama over the demon-king Ravana. In northern India the Ram Lila (“Play of Rama”) is the highlight of the festival.

On successive nights different episodes of the epic poem the Ramayana are dramatized by young actors elaborately costumed and masked; the pageant is always climaxed by the burning of huge effigies of the demons. Athletic tournaments and hunting expeditions are often organized. Some celebrate by erecting bonfires and burning effigies of Ravana, which are sometimes stuffed with fireworks. In many regions Dussehra is considered an auspicious time to begin educational or artistic pursuits, especially for children.

PADA: Thanks for your question about sex desire RK. So the desire to have sex / and to have sexual partner mates -- forms the bars of the prison house of the material world. And every living being here is trapped by these bars. Even the insects, spiders, fish, frogs, dogs, and even lowly flies are mating all day and every day.

Then we all have various species of babies, and then we have to struggle to care for them, and make a nest, a house, and work to take care of them and etc. We are further entangled by this process.

My neighbors are hated around here because they feed the feral cats, and they just had another litter of kitties. So these cats are eating, mating defending and so on, it is the binding factor.

So now people are engaged in Navaratri, Durga puja, and she is the person who makes these material energy prison bars that binds us here, on the orders of Krishna. So I am praying to her to release me from her prison house, and release me from her illusion tricks that keep me stuck here.

No one is allowed to fool around with the material energy and think they can defeat it on their own potency. The material energy's prison bars only fall away and surrender to us -- when we fully surrender to the Master of the material energy. Otherwise we are trapped here ad infinitum.

There is no real "cure" for sex desire, except -- to get a higher taste / realization of what it is -- and who created it -- and why. It is also called love for Krishna turned sour in the material realm.

So it is a difficult task to get free of it, no question. But at the same time, we cannot allow ourselves to get frustrated and abandon the process. Even if we are not making much progress, stopping the attempt is a worse option.

Most of my "guru" God brothers have fallen into sex desire, and that itself is a bad advert for having that attraction. I am sorry but there is no magic bullet for getting free of material desires. We just have to try to think of Krishna, and "keep on keeping on" as best we can under the circumstances. And Krishna knows what we are dealing with -- especially after the bogus GBC wanted us to worship sex desire -- which made that deviation sort of explode everywhere, and He will take all of these factors into consideration.

  1. AP: FYI. Sex is only allowed to beget Krsna Consciousness children. Otherwise, one is in perverted nature and not cultivating Krsna Consciousness. Period.

It is like an elephant takes bath and as soon as the elephant comes to the shore, he puts the sand on his body again and again. That is because of the nature, animalistic nature.

If such human beings are on the platform of animalistic nature, then one can not make much progress in Krsna Consciousness rather continues to suffer resultant activities life after life. That is the Verdict of the Sastras. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada. OM TAT SAT.

PADA: Well yep. It is a high bar for most of us. My point is, quitting is not a good option either. Srila Bhaktivinode says -- Even a fallen rank and file devotee is more advanced than a charlatan yogi.

Better to admit one is struggling than to falsely advertise one is free from attachment. And mixing conditioned consciousness with pure consciousness is called sahajiya, and that has infected ISKCON big time. A sannyasa is supposed to be free of sex desire, but most of us cannot come to that stage, including most of the GBC's false sannyasas.

I don't see that as a big problem for the conditioned rank and file, as long as we admit we are not on that advanced anartha nrvritti stage yet and we are honest people. A struggling neophyte is a bona fide platform, we should not be ashamed to be truthful. Durga's material world shakti is not something we are going to take down overnight ... that is the simple truth.

  2. K Dasi: "In this material world there is not a pinch of actual happiness, for which the conditioned soul is longing life after life. People struggling for existence in the forest or cities of the material world are not actually enjoying life.

They are simply suffering different pains and pleasures, generally pains that are always inauspicious. Apart from human beings, other species like cats and dogs are also struggling very hard day and night for existence. No one can get out of this struggle for existence, which is full of miseries, without accepting a pure devotee of the Lord." SB 5.14.1. The forest of enjoyment.

May you have a spiritually uplifting day. Krishna Krishna Hey! Radhe Radhe Hari Haribolo!

  3. Mama Bear: My Christian friends have "pornography therapy" meetings ... to help their people with these addictions. ISKCON has nothing like that. Instead ... worships the people with these addictions. Really! They are going to worship the leader of "Gay-vindas" with his red cape and pink tutu.

Then "Devotee Therapy" people are sent in to give therapy to the people who worship these addicted people ... still telling them to worship ... the same group that makes the addicted people into gurus. That makes the cure worse than the original disease.

They don't want to cure people. They want to make them sick ... and keep them that way. They are a sick cult. And have been ... for the whole time since they got rid of Prabhupada.
