My name is Puranjana das (Tim Lee) and I was among the first people to be kicked out of ISKCON by the leaders (gurus) in 1979 -- like Jayapataka swami -- current guru of Mayapur W. Bengal. At that time -- the "guru" for UK was Jayatirtha, who was exposed having illicit sex with a female follower -- and he was taking intoxicants like LSD, offering drugs to the Krishna deity -- and so on. I complained to these leaders that we should not train our children to worship deviant people who are engaged in illicit sex and intoxicants, because this is degrading and misleading the children -- for starters.
Moreover, to say that intoxicated predators and debauchees are "Krishna's guru successors in the tradition of India" is an insult to Krishna and India's culture, stalwart sages, saints and acharyas. Srila Prabhupada is totally against juxtaposing debauchees with saints. Of course now these same "gurus" have buried a known homosexual pedophile (Kirtanananda) and a known porno watching swami (Gunagrahi) and other deviants in "samadhi" in the holy dham of Vrndavana, so children can go there now and offer their obeisance to these deviants.
Around 1980 I began to complain more broadly that the children are being abused and molested in the GBC's "guru schools" (in Vrndavan India, Mayapur W. Bengal, New Vrndavana USA and other places). Of course, at the time I had little voice in ISKCON after being banished exiled. Around 1984 I started writing a photocopied "PADA newsletter" which was only being sent out by postal mail to a few hundred people at the time, so it had limited effect, but I was mentioning the child abuse issue.

And by 1980 the Laguna Beach ISKCON temple was raided by the FBI for heroin dealing; Hansadutta's "Mt. Kailasa" farm was raided by Federal Agents for all sorts of stolen property, illegal guns and illegal C-4 explosives etc; Berkeley's Bhakta jeeva was found shot in a ditch with five slugs in his chest -- after he had challenged Hansadutta; the Syracuse Federal courts sued ISKCON Nationally for "systematically defrauding the public" etc.; the Los Angeles devotees dressing as Santa Claus were arrested for fraud and so on and so forth. In 1982 Jayatirtha left -- taking hundreds of ISKCON members with him -- to start "The Peace Krishnas" -- based on using and selling designer drugs. He claimed we need to adopt the teachings of Timothy Leary as part of the Krishna religion. As a result -- the UK ISKCON "zone" went bankrupted and they had to give up their new Croome Court building they had just purchased. And then they appointed a known homosexual predator named Bhavananda as the "new guru" for the UK.
By 1986 the leaders were getting much more bold in attacking us "dissenters," and eventually my associate (Sulochana das aka Steve Bryant) was assassinated for his role in helping me in exposing the child molesting -- and other crimes. One of the molesters was the New Vrndavana "guru" named Kirtanananda swami (Keith Ham) and there was rampant cases of molesting and abuse going in other worldwide areas of their camp -- according to victims.

And Kirtanananda's main helper was Radhanath swami. Eye witnesses claim Radhanath swami paid cash to the "hit man" (Tirtha das / Drescher) who killed Sulochana, and who was the same man following my vehicle in Berkeley according to local PD. The FBI later said I was "number two on their hit list." Later on Radhanath wrote a glorification of their West Virginia "hit man" for doing good service to Krishna. Radhanath is the current ISKCON "guru" of Chowpatty, Mumbai India. I was interveiwed by a Mumbai news lady once, but then she told me she could not publish the story -- because she feared the Radhanath regime.
In 1986, just after the murder of Sulochana, I helped a woman sue the ISKCON guru Tamal Krishna swami in Dallas Texas courts, because her two boys had been abused on Tamal's farm. She was able to win a settlement, supposedly around $3,000,000 as Tamal pleaded "no contest." Of course, that just made the ISKCON leaders all the more angry and infuriated with me for exposing their child exploiting process. My friend Dr. J. Stilson Judah used to warn me at the time -- "your life is in extreme danger, if they can get rid of you, they will." After this, the former UK "guru" Jayatirtha had his head chopped off -- slowly -- with a dull knife by a dissenter, because he kept having affairs, even with married female disciples. A disciple of Jayapataka attacked him with a knife and tried to slit his throat, but he survived. And the West Virginia guru was attacked with a metal pipe and he suffered a skull fracture, because he was refusing to make this man "the guru of Ohio."

And the guru Satsvarupa began to write that he is "the guru of pills" because he was taking various psychotropics for his chronic migraines. Other ISKCON gurus were being exposed in having affairs, spending lavishly on themselves, making big daily feasts for themselves etc. -- while children in their "guru-schools" reported not being given proper food and supplies, even medicine, soap, shoes -- and so on. There has been a multitude of other problems going on with these "successors to Krishna according to India tradition." In 1986 the ISKCON leaders re-instated their homosexual guru (Bhavananda) -- who was having sex with taxi drivers in the holy dham, and they "voted in" a wave of more gurus.
By 1995 I was writing more and more about the abuse problem, including that some of the victims are now committing suicide. Eventually a group of us formed a steering committee to address the molesting -- and we got the Dallas lawfirm of Windle Turley to help us sue the ISKCON leaders for $400,000,000. Windle Turley said -- ISKCON has the worst examples of child abuse cases he has ever encountered in his entire lifetime legal career. The ISKCON leaders pleaded "no contest" when they found out me -- and some of the victims -- would be coming to Dallas to testify in court. ISKCON is still paying for this lawsuit even now evidently. Of course, many of the ex-child victims are still suffering various trauma, stress, PTSD symptoms and so on, but at least the suicides has been reduced substantially after the lawsuit was filed -- since the victims finally had some voice on the issue.
Yet, even after we filed the lawsuit the ISKCON leaders kept violent abusers / molesters in the posts of children's teachers and leaders in places like Mayapur. If anything, they doubled down on keeping some of their worst case problem teachers like Dhanurdar, Bhakti Vidya Purna swami -- and their entourage. And because I was handing out papers to ex-children victims to sign up for the lawsuit in Los Angeles around ISKCON's temple, the ISKCON leaders would all scowl and glare at me as I went out in front of the temple. The LA police used to warn me "stay way from Watseka, don't you know what happened to your friend here" (he was killed)?
Around the year 2,000, a number of letters were being exchanged between the leaders, which have only recently surfaced in public. These letters reveal that many top leaders knew about the child abuse issue, and they never made any realistic plan to fix the issue. Worse, even recently one of Bhakti Vidya Purna swami's former secretaries was given VIP treatment in Mayapur, to the total dismay of former victims. The female molesting victim of Lokanath swami also wrote to me -- to help her publish her complaint -- that Lokanath swami had agreed to step down after he abused her (when she was only 11) but that he is still strutting around ISKCON posing as a great ISKCON guru. Lokanath is still worshiped today as one of the bigger gurus of ISKCON.
And when it comes to cows, reports of malefic treatment of cows has been going on all along from their "farms" like Gita Nagari, New Vrndavana, New Talavan and other places. Some of the original New Talavan cows were sent to slaughter because the cowherd man felt so bad that they had no money for supplies to care for them. "I just could not tolerate seeing them continue to suffer."

Of course ISKCON had $20,000,000 on hand to sue the Bangalore ISKCON temple when they no longer wanted to worship deviants and pedophiles as "Krishna's acharyas." Followers of Jayapataka wrote to complain to me that my helping various lawsuits has cost ISKCON over $100,000,000. Which begs the question, why was there not enough money for maintaining cows and children?
I was recently interviewed by a large public media TV station, which will hopefully air this fall or winter. They asked me to sum up the ISKCON leader's situation in a nut shell. I said they are "The Enforced Cult Ritualistic Worship of Homosexuals, Pedophiles, Criminals and Deviants as God's Messiahs, Gurus, Successors and Acharyas -- Especially for Children to Worship." I hope this helps you apprise the situation more accurately. And -- I could go on here writing an encyclopedia of all these events, but this is just to give you a brief overview. If you have further questions, feel free to contact me. I have been interviewed several times by the FBI, various local law enforcement, Dallas courts and various medias -- and they accept my version as factual.

October 8, 1974: Srila Prabhupada warns about a conspiracy within his ISKCON movement, “I am training some of my experienced disciples how to manage after my departure. So if instead of taking the training, if in my lifetime you people [my senior disciples] say, ‘I am the Lord of all I survey,’ that is dangerous conspiracy.”

PD: Thanks RD prabhu. Yep, I sent it to her, and to Tirtharaja. I only waited to include the link to the Peacock show. I'll let everyone know if I get any reply.
ReplyDeleteAt the same time, I think the GBC's overall credibility is already in the tank. All we are doing now is making sure the history is recorded properly.
Basically, they thought they could put on the robes of Jesus, and be another Jesus. Same thing, there are people sent to Bellvue mental home who also thought they were another Jesus. All they did was make a giant mess for everyone else, and even themselves -- when they'll have to explain all this to Yamaraja.
They were arrogant, obstinate, and overly ambitious -- and faithless towards the rules of God and shastra. Not taking care of women, children, cows and brahmanas is a grevious sin, and they will have to pay eventually, and many of them already are. ys pd
